A once beautiful flower garden which eventually grew out of bounds, Savill Flower Grove was not one of those places which Caerbannog would have visited in the real world. She wasn’t interested in growing inedible vegetation, for the samurai was quite the practical person. But this and that were different things, as were the circumstances of then and now. The girl was... requested, to assist in the purging to the outer parts of the grove. If adventurers could clear the underbrush of creatures that lurked within, then the landers could move in and manage the grove once again.
Caerbannog was just one of many whom were recruited by the enthusiastic landers. She asked for directions towards the grove, and then she was on her way. As she walked along the main road, she took out a carrot once again. Not much to her surprise, the same frenmic rabbit which she scouted before appeared once more. The samurai stooped low and offered her arm, upon which the rabbit scurried. The creature rested upon her head as the girl straightened up.
“ I’m hunting something today, “ she said to the rabbit.
The samurai then broke off a piece of the carrot and handed it to the rabbit, which clutched the food item with its forelegs while its hindlegs clung tightly to the adventurer’s head. Scouting the creature, Caerbannog gave the carrot to that rabbit only little by little as she made her way to the grove. Upon reaching her destination, the adventurer would have been quite a sight: a 150-cm tall girl clad in starter chainmail, a nodachi that seemed too big for her, a half-eaten carrot on her right hand and a small frenmic rabbit on her head. Not minding much else, the samurai looked around for other adventurers who were supposed to take on some pesky slimes.

Now that it was time to actually get on to hunting something down (boy she would not forget that initial encounter with ‘the fox-tail perv’ as she called him), we would find Momo—otherwise known as Hanelli—tromping through the same area where she’d decided to take a dip; although instead of heading into the murky area, she decided to redirect her footsteps into the actual ‘flower garden’ itself; and was surprised to see that there were many varieties of flowers growing up from the ground—and that there were signs that this used to be a place of some splendor and wonder. Now, though, it’s left to the wilderness so… she thought, remembering that shed overhead some other adventurers talking about something slimy and disgusting slithering through the undergrowth of such a beautiful place.
I hope I don’t run into anything gross… she thought, quickly going through her inventory and bringing out her ranged weapon, fastening the end of the ten-foot long rope to her right hand. She could not afford to lose the weapon; much more the rope—and she wanted to try her hand at actually killing something; because the last few days she’d spent ever since the news broke out was panicking and just hiding away from the rest of the trapped populace, trying to gain some sense of ground in such a foreign world. I hope my ‘parents’ aren’t worrying, but knowing the, they most certainly are going to worry at this time… she thought once more, her mind slipping back to the family that was waiting for her back out in the real world. You can do this. You can get out of here alive. Let’s just go through this one step at a time…
She then found herself at a crossroads within the gigantic locale—and then, she heard it. There was a slithering sound across the ground—she could not miss that since it sounded like squelching—and she then turned around to see that there were several (approximately three) of these ‘blobs’ of the green variety heading towards her, and by squinting at their names that were of the white coloration, she could tell that these were the ‘Dull Green Slime’ monsters. At least my English is improving, somewhat… she thought before quickly charging up her ranged-attack; and the crackle of lightning could be heard emanating from the tip of her weapon’s blade. Bless the fact that I chose something with rope… at least… she thought, before quickly taking aim at the slime that was closest to her range, and watched as the ranged weapon fly, the sound of crackling lightning all around the little area.
Upon impact, she felt the rope tense—which meant that her weapon had found a homing point—yet there was a weird squishing noise that emanated from them; before the short lightning burst sparked off the blade. She could hear the slime’s growl, and she quickly yanked back on the end of the rope in an attempt to get the weapon back to her for another attack, as it was now approaching her, since she’d engaged it with an attack. Oh, shit. [527] Spark Shot used.

The frenmic rabbit had finished most of the carrot and so it sat lazily upon the samurai’s head. Caerbannog put the remaining vegetable in her inventory before she started to walk farther into the grove. Though the rabbit was not exactly her best buddy just yet, the samurai figured that the creature could at least stay around for a while. It could be her extra eyes and ears. And close enough to what the girl expected, the rabbit chattered to alert her of something.
A short distance away, Caerbannog spotted what seemed to be an adventurer who was engaged with some yet-unseen enemy. The underbrush made it difficult to look at what was beyond the other player, so the samurai just had her nodachi at the ready as she sped onwards. The rabbit, unsympathetic but much too full to budge, just latched tightly onto the girl’s head like a live bunny hat. When the samurai closed the distance between herself and the other adventurer, she saw that the targets were dull green slimes. Three of them.
- How did she manage to pull so many? – the samurai wondered, her hand on her nodachi’s hilt, - And in broad daylight even... –
Her thoughts trailed off but her actions didn’t. Judging by the other adventurer’s gears, she was not easily identifiable as a tank type; leather armor, so- probably a DPS class like Kumori. Caerbannog noticed that the girl’s weapon was buried in the dull green slime, so she unsheathed her sword and dashed towards that one target. The blue-eyed wolf hair, her wolf ears and tail now visible, buried the tip of her nodachi into the slime and twisted it around to loosen the other player’s blade. She managed to get a closer look and noticed that the item was a kunai.
Once the kunai was loosened, she’d gesture for the other adventurer to back up and Caerbannog herself stepped back. One slime was engaged, but she was not entirely sure if the other two were indeed there to fight, or if they were just attracted to that area for some reason. After a previous incident with dull green slimes, she’d taken to reading up on them. While waiting for a reaction from the other slimes though, the samurai held her nodachi tightly with two hands, brought it up overhead and swung it down upon the injured slime. The creature’s HP took that hit at full strength and combined with the damage from the elf’s earlier attack, it caused the dull green slime to vanish in an array of data sparkles.
