After Klide looked up from lying on the ground, he saw Draze using the broken sword to fight of the remaining boar. Klide realized that the boar who's back legs he'd crippled was still alive. He attempted to drag himself over to it, then realized he didn't have a weapon. Klide looked around an saw the sword he had dropped lying about twenty feet from where he was. He pulled one of the sheaths from his belt and used it as a cane while he limped over to the sword. He leaned down and lifted it from the blood stained ground. As he walked back toward the boar, he got light headed for a moment. He stopped and looked down to keep his eyes focused on something that wasn't swaying. He noticed a crimson trail he's left behind when walking to the sword. "Damn this wound, it hasn't closed enough yet." He walked closer to the boar. Just as he neared it, a sphere of lightning flew through it, killing it instantly, then the orb flew over to the boar getting attacked by Draze, and that boar was fried too. Klide needed to sit, so he did just that. He sheathed his battered sword and put the sheath back into his belt, then he sat down and tried to nap a bit. Klide was awakened almost instantly by a fuzzy feeling at Mab's magic healed his wounds. He was thankful for having such a kind and intelligent person watching his back. Klide sat up and began to feel his leg healing, much faster than he'd expected, and his light headedness went away as well. He felt much better thanks to the healer. He then got up, only to experience a surprise visit from Draze, who complimented him on handling the boars. Klide Accepted his broken sword and sheathed it. He said "Your welcome." when Draze thanked him for the sword. Then he looked at Draze's out stretched hand for a moment. Klide was grateful for Draze's offer to ride with him, but he was too used to being on his own to ride so close to another. He asked Draze to offer the seat to Mab, thinking it better for her to be on the horse, as she really seemed to like the horse. Fortunately, Klide was healed enough to walk. He could make do with strolling alongside the others. Mab then asked the two men about their sub classes. Draze was the first to reply, saying he was an artisan. A look of pure joy, which can only be described as that of a small child, appeared on Draze's face moments later. Klide smiled a bit at how happy Draze was to find six objects in his inventory. He Asked what he should do with the materials. Klide said simply "I'm a Blacksmith, and a Tracker." He wasn't certain of how to craft, but Klide was fairly certain that he could eventually figure it out. He stretched his sore muscles, and began walking towards the direction he guess the town was in, though he really had no idea where he was going. He stopped at the edge of the clearing and asked which direction it was, his hands crossed behind his neck, and an embarrassed look forming on his face. Word Count: 551 Tags: Mab , Draze

Mab had guessed correctly. The guys had enough for today. They had jumped on the idea to get home for now. They slowly walked back towards the city. Well Mab did. Mab the path finder knew exactly where they were going. “Its this...”Mab started to say decidedly. But she stopped mid sentence. “Wait.. You are a tracker... We might as well practice that too....”Mab said good natured. They had not walked that far. It could be possible for the tracker to retrace his own steps perhaps. “Use your tracking skill Klide!”The druid said trying to stifle a laugh. The mentoring wasn’t over just yet she figured. If Klide could retrace his steps, he could never really be lost now could he? That thought made the girl smile and she waited for him to figure that one out. “Draze and I will remain behind you... So you can try and find your way back...”It shouldn’t be that hard but Mab did not really know what the abilities of a tracker were. However it made sense that a tracker should be able to follow his own traces... Right? Mab focussed her attention to the horse. It had done its best to help the guardian during the fight. Sure the beast was skittish on the battle field but who could blame him. It was not as if it would re-spawn at the cathedral. Mab plucked another apple from her backpack, and offered it to the steed. “Good job Eustace!” Mab said in making use of the nature’s tongue skill. Mab wanting to tell the creature it did a good job might have something to do with Draze’s remark about his ingredients. They differed per class and so Mab had no clue what an artisan could do. She figured the artisan could make artsy stuff? “Figuring out how your craft class works is half the fun.”Mab said to the smaller guy. Her eyes remained looking forward, she wanted to make sure that the tracker did not get into trouble. The area was clear of monsters right now. Nothing should respawn for at least thirty minutes. The party needed to leave the area before the boars would come back. Klide should not really need to run into unexpected guests, or monsters. Mab herself had trained here often. Once back on the path to town, it should be monster free.

Word Count: 437 Mab had suggested that he, his horse and her remain behind Klide, allowing the young Tracker free choice of the path. Apparently, a Tracker had some skills that allowed them to... track things? Draze didn't have the slightest clue about his own profession, learning others was a very far-distant goal indeed. He pocketed his Materials again, so at to pick up his reigns to contain Eustaces' excitement at the sight of another Apple. The horse slobbered in anticipation, getting a fair amount over his own snout, the apple, and Mab's hand if she wasn't careful.
Mab needn't be worried on Eustace's behalf. Should the horse fall in battle, he would be revived, just like a player, ready to be summoned by the whistle of the Cavalier after a certain time had passed. Though it was very sweet of Mab to care, what with all the Apples she was gifting to the horse.
The group trundled on, Draze taking care not to outpace his fellows with his Horses' longer stride. Eustace seemed quite content now that he had finished enjoying his apple, and made do with occasionally snuffling his large snout in Mab's direction should she feel more generous. The clippity clop of horse hooves was punctuated by trills of bird song from the branches above, the feathered creatures returning after having been chased away by all the clanging and shouting of battle. Draze was muttering to himself, steering Eustace with one hand while waving his other hand in the air. he was back on his Menu screen, transfixed on something.
"You..." He paused, eyes drifting from side to side as he read something on his screen. "...are absolutely right Mab!" He said cheerfully. With a grunt of effort, he swung a plated leg over his horse, dropping onto the ground as he dismounted. Eustace skittered away with a nicker, the loud thud of his master disembarking in full Plate-Mail setting the horse into a small panic. As Eustace did that funny little dance that panicked horses do, Draze knelt to the ground, digging a small hole in the dirt. After a moment, he had unearthed a stone the size of his fist, which he held aloft like a 24-carot hunk of gold. "Please.... work..." Draze said, a set of carvers tools popping into existence as he dragged them out of his inventory. The sound of metal hitting stone rang around the forest as Draze began working, and within a minute Draze proudly held aloft his first creation. "Behold!" Draze cried, showing what looked like a badly carved sparrow to whoever wanted to see it. "It's a dog!"

Klide thought about Mab's words for a moment. He thought back to the description of the Tracker subclass. "Trackers excel in the art of stealth. They have the ability to obscure themselves, becoming invisible to the naked eye, and to soften their steps, silencing their movements. Under the veil of stealth, they can travel undetected, allowing them to scout out and follow targets. As such, it is the perfect option for those wishing to play sneaky characters." It only mentioned anything about tracking something once, and that was with scouting out targets. Klide was about to object, but both Mab and Draze were ready to follow him. He began walking with his eyes on the ground, and found some tracks that looked like hooves, he followed them back to where they had fought the first two waves of boars, but there were so many tracks n the ground, that Klide just gave up and sat against a tree. He watched as Draze pulled a stone from the ground and carved into a fine looking bird. He seemed very proud when he announced "It's a dog!" Klide giggled to himself a little, he couldn't help it. He stood and walked over the the shorted man. "Draze, are you mean 'dog' and not 'bird'?" Klide patted the man on the back. "either way, it shows effort, and we novices are nothing if not people who try." Then he looked over at Mab to see her smiling as brightly as ever. He picked a rock up and chiseled at it with the spine of his broken sword. He finished with a shape that could only be described as potato-like. "Seems I still haven't mastered dolphins, don't you agree?" He smiled slightly at his two companions, and placed his 'dolphin' on top of a fallen tree branch. Despite not having made a good dolphin, Klide had managed to do one thing. He now had another serration in his blade. Klide walked with his companions for a few more minutes, and before he knew it, they were in town again. He said his good byes and walked into the busy streets that were his new home.
