OOC: Entry to the Summer Treasure Event. Anyone can join but we have to meet the 5 post requirement per person. Mab possible party member. Walking along the riverbank was a relaxing affair and the post-apocalyptic decorations scattered around gave a certain vibe to the place. The sunlight made the water shine and gave the river a serene setting. While taking in the scenary would be enjoyable to do, Reynard was here on another matter entirely. Word had gotten around that there was a new addition to the area in the from of a new island. It would probably be suicide for Reynard to try and explore the new island at his current level, but apparently, a new island wasn't the only thing that arrived in the Thames. Rumors mentioned that there was some loot to be found along the riverbend. If this were still a simple game, Reynard felt it was most likely an event of some sort. If it was just rumors, at least it was something to do. Plus the place had some begineer level monsters so it wasn't that dangerous. To be on the safe side, Reynard activated his Battle Perception to be forewarned as early as possible if any monsters were close. Monster names and health bars became visible wherever Reynard saw monsters. There weren't much near the banks at the moment but looking up, there were some low level flight monsters. They would be a pain if they decided to harass Reynard the only thing worse would be if some popped out from the... water. Reynard quickly scanned the water surface but saw no names or health bars to indicate a monster. Either there were none, or his skill didn't work properly if he couldn't actually see the monster. Putting some worrisome thoughts away for now, it was time to try and look for that treasure he came for. In hindsight he probably should have asked some people to join him. Maybe he could party with some people who showed up for the same event. It might cause problems later on in deciding loot distribution though. But Healers were usually in demand so that might outweigh the con of having another party member. For now, Reynard kept an eye out for treasure and possbile adventurers while walking on the riverbank.

Mab had no clue what was going on today. Today was not a very special day, none what so ever. The honey blonde druid had prepared herself to go out adventuring today. Wearing her lime green armor, with her most precious black top hat with the bunny ears on the side her normal red boots and black pants. Mab was wondering when the washing machine was going to be invented, to keep buying new undergarments and such was becoming troublesome. Washing stuff in the river Thames too perilous and to keep washing stuff in a tub too annoying. Mab had no clue how to fix this, after all she wasn’t an engineer. Maybe if she could find one, there would be options to discuss. However Mab as far as she could remember had not met an engineer in game. Mab was strolling around the river banks, not really having a precise destination in mind yet. She might go and grab lunch in Kalliste. Today she did not have a shift in the store, that did not mean it wasn’t open. Mab was undecided. It might be nice to grab lunch somewhere else instead. It was too early to make up her mind. The druid was in a great mood. While she was walking next to the river banks the girl was singing this song. The girl had heard the song, she could not really recall where that was, but it had been stuck in her mind. Did she have a great singing voice, no.... She did not. Though she sang in tune, and it wasn’t half bad. She would never be a star singer, nor did she want to be. Mab stopped at a point where the view of the river, and its surroundings where the most beautiful. She sat herself down and grabbed an apple from her backpack. Nomming on the delicious apple while still humming the same tune every now and then. Mab had only been paying minimum attention to her surroundings. So when she glanced sideways she believed she could see someone heading her way. Mab did not feel the need to move away at all. It was just that she noticed a guy wandering the banks? Had he been there before? Mab could not say for sure. “OOOOOOooooi!”Mab called out to the wandering stranger. Waving to him, he might want to walk over for a chat, or he could decide to keep on walking. Mab would be fine with either.

Searching for something he had no idea what it looked like was obviously very difficult for Reynard to do. The only hint was that it was a treasure box but without any description. Things were so much more easier when you could look up things you didn't know online. Still, it was a challenge that Reynard wouldn't back down. It was good training for possible future quests he might want to do. On the plus-side, this allowed Reynard to scrutinize the area and take in the sight of the River. Being in this kind of environement was always an experience for the city-born Michael, making the fresh air and absence of noises a nice change of pace. Though this was no longer going to be a change of pace for Reynard; it was now his new reality.
While walking along the shore, Reynard was starting to hear something not natural to the environement or any creature. As he got closer, which he assumed since it was getting louder, the noise was starting to sound familiar. It was singing, something he hadn't heard in a while. It wasn't anything he recognized but he could tell it was something referring to adventurers. As he hadn't changed directions, he was now apporaching to sourch of the song: a blond girl sitting by the riverside. It seemed his approach had alerted her to his presence as she stopped singing and turned her head to his direction and greeted him.
“OOOOOOooooi! ”
Even if the world has changed, it was nice to know there were still people who did not greet others with hostility.
“Good day.” Reynard greated as he was close enough he didn't have to shout anymore.
“Are you here for the treasure as well?”
Direct to the point as always

Huuff ... Haaah ... (Somehow I arrived safely at the coastline) “Woohoo ...” the view here is great. (looking around, noticed a druid from far away) whoa, is that a girl. Coastline and a girl? Its paradise (smile widely while walking forward toward the beauty) but ... sniff-sniff ... Schwing ... wutta dis disturbing smell near here? (sighting afar to the girl) Hmmm? If you loook closely she sure is a cuttie. Whoa shat a smile. Whoa what a sparkling eyes. Whoa what a body. Whoa ... (I punched my chest, whispering faintly) “k-kawaii”
She sure is reminding me of sis. Gotta try to talk to her, that won’t be hurt (continue walking toward her)
Sniff sniff, this smell ... Schwing! (hide behind nearly bush) seems like she calling someone, who is it? Furry tail? Oh its just a fox. Hmm, what are they talking about? (move to nearer hiding spot) “Good day” “Are you here for treasure as well?”
Treasure? Now that’s new, maybe I should try it. Have died once really help build confidence, I felt I can grasp to battle in this world more quickly. “Awwright!!” (I decided to just jump out of my hiding spot, with big wide grin, and waving furry paw)

Mab tilted her head as the fox haired boy approached her. He seemed a little older then she did, and he admitted looking for a treasure. Mab had not been looking for a treasure what so ever, She wouldn’t mind finding treasure, but she had heard of it. Mab smiled broadly at the cleric. Her eyes spoke of amusement when she answered the wolf hair. “Hiya... Nice to meet you.....” Mab allowed a bit of a silence to carry on before she responded to the second question. “Heehee I am now...”She said while smiling a crooked smile. Her amusement ill hidden she looked at the boy. Why on earth would you want to tell anyone that you are looking for treasure? And the way he asked Mab, “Are you here for the treasure as well....” well made it perfectly clear as to why the boy was wandering the coast line of the river Thames. Mab had no clue that such a treasure existed, nor did she really care about treasure. The thing about treasure was that it was fun to obtain with a group of people, but someone always got greedy and became unable to share. Mab had burned herself that way a few times. Mab had decided that she could care less about treasure, unless it could be split in a party. She would barely ever try to claim it as her own. The fun lay in facing the obstacles that interfered in collecting the treasure anyways. “Naw I wasn’t looking for treasure,Mab said shaking her head. But I wouldn’t mind helping you look for it.”The druid responded still very good natured. At this time a cat-person showed up. Mab had not seen many of them around, though she was aware they existed. She raised her eyebrows at the sudden and rather unusual intrusion. “Hello?”Mab said to the new person. The question mark well heard while she spoke. Who was the strange boy and what did he mean by alright? Mab did not know, and the blonde haired druid wanted to know. Mab was not really concerned about a sudden attack, he did look like a starting adventurer. Both the boys looked that way.

Apparently the girl wasn't there for the treasure hunting so that ruled out asking her for advice on what the treasure looked like. She did offer to help him, which was strangely nice. It meant having to look for more than one right now so that no one would feel left out. He was about to thank her for her offer and even suggest partying when a were-cat suddenly appeared. He tried to show that he wasn't completely surprised by the sudden appearance. It would sure look that way with his barely turning to acknowledge to addition to the group… but his ears and tail betrayed him by tensing up. He would have to work on that. Again.
“Hello?” Reynard voiced the same time.
He wasn’t the only one perplexed by the addition as the girl voiced her own confusion as well. What do though about this other person? To be safe, Reynard placed one hand on his sword in case this other person wasn’t as friendly as the first one.
“Can we help you sir?”
Reynard unconsciously referred to himself and the girl as a group despite not having made a party yet. Hopefully the girl wouldn’t mind.

“Hello” (doesn’t mind) ”hello” (alerted)
Wut? What with that reaction? Oh yeah, maybe I should wipe away this weird smile first. Oh um, (smile again) “can we help you sir?” wut, that creped me out. Oh he is alerted, is he trying to pick a fight? (smirk) ok then, you asking it first foxy, ehehehe. Ah, (smack own head) I come here to learn about treasure hunting. Hmmm, what to do, I want to try fighting the fox but I also want to learn about treasure hunting. Ok (tok) “Umm, ya know I am new to this world, aaaand you mentioned about treasure hunting, and you seems want to test my strength so … (grab fox shoulder) teach me to treasure hunt! Teach me to treasure hunt! And then we fight, right? Right?” (with big smile and enthusiasm). (I shake His shoulder out of the blue, without ever thinking about how he will react. Yeah, that bad habit of mine. But I just want to know more about this world, about the fighting. That time I don’t care how this entrance of mine will affect our teamwork, all I know both of them seems has seen this world more than I am, and it is the right decision to tag with them right now).

The cat-person was kind of aggressive. Or so it appeared to Mab. There were these adventurers that would try to harm other adventurers. Her smile left the druids face as words like fighting and treasure and proving one’s self came up. She frowned at the cat-man. “Just touching people like that can really cause for serious misunderstandings.....”Mab started sounding very serious. Aiding the boy that she had met only seconds prior. “I would unhand him if I were you.”The girl got up to her feet as she spoke. Mab was not a petite small girl. In fact the oddly dressed girl was tall, very tall. With about six ft. in height she rarely looked up to anyone. Let alone feel threatened by people. She however got very annoyed when people tried. So annoyed in fact that she felt she might have to do something about it. Mab took a deep breath and counted to ten. It was what she did to keep her usual sunny demeanour. “If ye are looking for treasure, we can all go look together, help each other out until we each found a chest.”She looked at the cat-man again... “But nuh trying to fight eachother!”While she prodded him with her index finger. “Well I am Mab, and I am a druid, pathfinder. Nice to meet you both.”Mab called out as she decided that introductions where in order. With her hands on her back she leered at the two boys, expecting them to introduce themselves too.

If anyone was familiar with dogs, one could tell by Reynard’s ears point back but tensed meant he was on edge. But it seemed the werecat didn’t care or was not aware by the fact and decided shaking him would entice Reynard to help him. It wasn’t really that strong but it was starting to get annoying and Reynard was this close to drawing his sword. It was only his self-discipline preventing him from attacking outright. Thankfully, the girl took pity on his poor soul and warned the werecat.
The girl introduced herself: name, class, sub-class and… height. She was taller than Reynard as he was only 5ft-something. Well he couldn’t very well not introduce himself after she had been kind enough to do so. First, he gently removed the hands that were shaking him and take a step back to give him some space before speaking.
“Reynard, foxtail,” He demonstrated by wiggling his tail to show it to the two. “cleric and pathfinder as well. Pleased to make your acquaintance.”
Reynard would wait for the were-cat to introduce himself before speaking again.
“As for your query about the treasure, you just have to keep your eyes open and look for something treasure-like. We can start by searching the river bank.” Reynard pointed to the river behind him.
He was hinting for the were-cat to search underwater. Reynard was planning to search in the river itself since he hadn’t seen any on land yet but only when he had no other options. But if someone was willing to follow his advice then might as well use it.

I … umm … ehehehe “I would unhand him if I were you.”
Well … I … (but nothing comes out of my mouth) “If ye are looking for treasure, we can all go look together, help each other out until we each found a chest.”
That’s what I want. “But nuh trying to fight eachother!”
(nod nod) “Well I am Mab, and I am a druid, pathfinder. Nice to meet you both.”
Hmm? What’s druid? What’s pathfinder? Oh, maybe they refer to the status thing. “Reynard, foxtail,” “cleric and pathfinder as well. Pleased to make your acquaintance.”
He seems hesistant, hmmm maybe I must say sorry, I kinda have bad feeling this will end up bad. “As for your query about the treasure, …
The treasure! Yeah, this is the purpose of this team. I’ll says what in my status panel then start searching it. …. underwater.” Ok. “I am Lukav, uh … monk, uh … berseker, uh … blacksmith. Yeah, blacksmith. Awright then!”
(I just running toward the river)
I never thought it was easy, so, underwater eh. What kind of treasure will be there waiting me, it is same treasure as in the real world. Ah … just thinking about it excite me out. (then jump) (splash!)

With the introductions out of the way the cleric proceeded with explaining the treasure hunt. So they would have to search in the river? Is this what Reynard the fox was trying to say? Mab was unsure, she instead just followed the boys to the river. To say that she found in unappealing to go swimming in the river Thames was to be an understatement. In fact it did not seem pleasing at all. The water was murky and smelly. It did not seem like she really wanted to find a treasure there. Mab hesitated somewhat. Allowing the boys to go and keep looking. It would be better for the boys to search for themselves anyways because of the level difference. If Mab was going to stick around these two they might find themselves in more trouble than they could handle. The level difference was too high and it would harm them to be aggroed by a creature that would usually ignore them. Mab was unsure if there were creatures around, or if they were aggressive at all. She wasn’t even sure if she wanted to find out. She really did not want to go wading through the murky water and get all smelly of fish and other nasty smells. With trepidation the girl looked at the river side. If she wanted to find the treasure it would mean wade through the river and search. It was that simple “Iew... iew... iew... iew...”Mab moaned as she slowly made her way into the water. The wetness and the smelliness of it made her want to gag. She didn’t but it was close. A look of discomfort shot through her eyes as she slowly waded her way through the river. Sometimes bending forward if she believed she might have found something treasure like. However so far all she had found was a left boot, a bicycle wheel, and a cracked tea kettle. Her first attempts of finding treasure where not very successful. Mab did not feel like she wanted to continue much longer. But somehow found the strength and will to continue. Her next find was utterly disappointing. She thought she had found a treasure box. That was a mistake. What she pulled from the river was a suitcase, this was rather odd, the druid felt. As she dragged the thing to the shore to open it up she was in for a surprise indeed. She expected the suitcase to be full of wet and soggy clothing. What she found was not that.... She found a suitcase full of squirming crawling creepy eels. Disgusted she backed off from the sight of it. It was just not what she had expected and it made her squirm and shiver a little. The sight of it was creeping her out. “Nasty... iew... nasty... Ahh man...”Mab complained to herself as she made her way back to the river bank. Resuming her, so far fruitless, search for treasure. If she did not find something soon... She would very likely give up.

Reynard didn’t recall ever specifying to search inside the river itself. Hinting maybe, so he was quite surprised that even newly introduced Mab decided on venturing into the watery banks. He couldn’t complain though as it meant he could search the dry banks a bit more before trying inside the river itself. Still no luck though and judging by the comments he heard from the others, they didn’t have much luck either. It was, unfortunately, time for Reynard to brave the water.
The water didn’t feel too bad but had loads more stuff in it that the pools Reynard was used to. The ground underneath the water was still firm and had objects buried in it. Mostly “civilization” stuff that got left behind during the apocalypse. It looked like they had been in the water for a long time as even the sturdiest of objects were soft and squishy. Most likely corroded after a long time. It was to his surprise then that he tripped on something a bit more firm and face planted into the water. His other two helpers probably heard that splash and anyone else in a 10 meter radius. Not one of his more graceful moments.
Pulling himself up from his accident, Reynard checked if he had any injuries or damage from that fall. When they were none, he decided to inspect the object he had tripped on and was surprised to find a treasure box like object showing through the water. That was an unconventional way of finding things. Reynard wanted to pull it out of the water instead of opening it right there and then but was surprised to find out he couldn’t budge it at all. This sent some alarm bells ringing in his head as it was weird he could not claim the treasure box even after subsequent tries. He called over the closest partymate which was Mab, as he had no idea where or what the were-cat was doing. Once the druid approached closer he would inform her of his finding.
“I have found something but could not claim it. Either we have to open it right now to claim the treasure or there is something special about this chest. I detect no monster nearby. Opinion?”

(“What the …”)
Dang … what kind of river is this, it is not even green. (“and it is hard to move”) (I tried to open my eyes, but I resist to do it) Its even hard to dive, and all this chill all over my spine since I touched the water, maybe I am really into playing a cat thing. “Fuaah …” I forced my breath out of my lungs. Seems like I don’t have animalist instinct to detect hidden enemies, even though I have animal-like body. (Smirk) “Game rule eh …” seems like there is something like game feature to have that kind of ability. Hmm … if it is the game feature then maybe it affected by level. (I opened the status menu)

Yeah, I am currently level 1 (smack my own head) why I didn’t just said I am a monk class, really forgot that time. (I swim toward the center little by little) yeah, seems like there is feature to detect unseen enemies. I can barely feel it, it is very faint, I don’t even know if it is a creature or a rock. (Look around) hmm … what it is. (I swim toward the left little by little) seems like there is some area that’s more clean. (I swim toward that area, then plunge my head into the water) seems like I can see here …. (look around) what the … there is some strange creature here under the water, seems like they are the enemies, although there is none in my area. Let’s see … crate crate, where are you … Ooh there is one … ooh there is one too over there, lucky eh. However, there is enemies guarding it, and for some strange reason I sense danger to approach them. (smirk) a danger eh … interesting. (dive toward that area)

Wait a minute, I am currently at party, party means together eh, but! Hmm … but! Hmm … Arghhh … alright alright, I’ll go back to inform them then (swim to the surface) “Gah … “ (I am back to the surface again) now, where are them (look around) Hmm … (scratch scratch) maybe I’ve went too far. (swim to nearby land, then walk to higher area) hmm? Isn’t that the fox cleric guy. (I can see the druid girl approaching him, also can hear faintly what they are talking about) “…this chest. Mab looked at the monk as if he were crazy. If he wanted to fight a mob of monsters all level 20 each minimum, on his first day out adventuring the boy was welcome to try. Mab would gladly count the seconds it would take such a powerful mob to take him out. Mab was unsure how the frenic Rabbit could hold its breath but that was beside the point. The boy might have found some treasure chests, but the way they were guarded it would be nigh impossible, even inplausible for these three adventurers to overcome such odds. Mab on her own could probably face one or two eels, however a mob of twenty five of them.... well that was impossible. She shrugged her shoulders left the monk to his own devices and made her way to Reynard. “Pull it towards the shore and open it there?”
Mab suggested, not sure what else to do with it. Opening a treasure chest mid river did not seem the smartest tactic. She would look what Reynard decided to do. If he started swimming to shore she would follow him there. It was up to Lukav to either join or die by the hand of creatures that would tear him to shreds in moments. Any other outcome would be either god modding or powerplaying. Something neither Mab nor her author cared much for. She would stay near the cleric to see what he had found. It was all his, Mab wanted no part of it, the honey blonde druid just wanted to make sure the cleric was alright.

Nasty was an understatement when describing the set of monsters. First one was doable with just frenmic rabbits… which were somehow in the water. That was going to take some major explaining to justify two rabbits in the water. The sight of the two rabbits were a bit distracting to Reynard’s thought process. After all, when was Reynard going to see two rabbits in the water again? Once he had filled that thought under “Screw it and get on with life”, he was even more surprised by the horde of level 20+ monsters doing in a low level area. This was starting to get extra fishy now and he was definitely sure a special event was occurring or someone was messing with the world again. He had barely just explored the new world!
“Pull it towards the shore and open it there?”
Reynard could only shake his head signifying a negative on that response. When he mentioned he couldn’t move the chest, he really couldn’t move it. He had a sneaking suspicion what it could be but wasn’t really sure. But after seeing the monsters the were-cat pointed out, the fox-tail was practically sure what it was now. His gut was telling him to ignore the thing and just quietly leave the area but the still gamer in him couldn’t pass off the possibility that the thing was an actual treasure chest. So he decided to use the best plan he could come up with.
“Say, Lukav.” Reynard began while bringing the monk in front of the treasure chest. “There is one here in front of us. I cannot open it and maybe it needs a better strength rating than what I have.” He held one hand to quiet Mab in case she was going to say something. “You should open it.”
Once Lukav agreed and started to move towards the treasure, Reynard would take two steps back. It was up to the druid to follow his lead. The moment Lukav touched the chest to open it, Reynard would suddenly see an additional HP bar materialize above it.
Looks like I was right.
A Mimic popped out from its hiding place and proceeded to attack the person who disturbed it from its resting place: Lukav. It was only by a slight technically Reynard hadn’t activated the mimic before. He didn’t have the intent to open the treasure box so the mimic stayed as it was until someone really wanted to open it. Reynard slowly readied his wand to cast a spell but only after the monk attacked first. He didn’t want to get the aggro of the monster. It was poor healer behavior. But once the monk, had clearly done an attack and gotten the aggro, it was only then the cleric would cast Reactive Heal to help prevent the next painful attack.

“Pull it towards the shore and open it there”Meh, no fighting then. (Scratch scratch) well, I am not the one with brain here. Might as well follow them. Also, what with that treasure chest why can’t it be opened and should be moved to the shore. Hmm … the fox guy tell it cannot be opened, then, is it a game feature. Well, there is three of us and there is only one chest. How can it will be hard. The fox guy told me to open the chest. Something about it will need my strength based build. Strength eh, (grin) then will there be some kind of monster jumped out from the treasure chest. (I lowered my body and readied my stance to jump and attack whatever will comes out from that chest)Let’s see (I extend my left arm to open the chest) (giggle) what is it? what is it? eit not yet, not yet. (I pull my arm again) (extend it again) what is it? what is it? eit not yet, not yet. (pull it once more) (extend it again) what is it? what is it? “Ahh!” (suddenly the chest shaking, it opened by itself, then a pair of eyes stare back at us)“What?! Well that was just perfect, one opens a chest and gets kicked in the face by a slime. Mab had no fond memories of slimes. In fact Mab disliked slimes with a passion. However her first priority was to keep the monk alive. Mab activated the cure bloom spell. This should have enough healing power to get the first level monk back to full health. It was a low level cure, but as the druid had reached the second tier her cure spells had gotten more potent. Believing that Lukav would be alright with this amount, she focussed on the slime. Mab did not want to use a lightening spell in the water. That seemed a bad idea. Instead she thwacked the thing with her staff, depleting its health bar by 35% It meant that the Cleric and the Monk should be able to deal with the remaining 55%. “Iew.... Slimes are nasty!”The blonde haired girl exclaimed. Slimes were evil, slimes were nasty, slimes were icky! Mab did not want the slime to stay around. However between healing the Monk and whacking it with her staff, the girl was out of options for now. It would be best if the two first levels would deal with the remaining clean up. Mab wasn’t even here to find treasure really. Though if she bumped into a chest she would off course bring it along with her. She backed off to make sure that either the monk or the cleric could follow up in killing or further harming the creature.

It was a good idea to get the monk to open the chest. It may sound a bit mean spirited but between the both of them; Lukav was the actual tank class and should have been able to take any surprise better than Reynard. He expected things to be bad but getting over half of the monk’s HP was a bit extreme. He hoped it was just due a special surprise attack from the mimic or else the next attack would kill the monk despite the cleric’s help, which consisted of an orange glow appearing from the monk. His Reactive Heal was only useful after the monk got hit and wasn’t as strong as the last mimic’s first attack.
Now the other person in the area, the druid who had a good enough level gap between the two males, had a sort of freak out calling the monster attacking them a slime… which he wasn’t too sure of either. But the important point was the druid’s healing spell currently surpassed the cleric’s and did a better job restoring the health of the monks all the way back to full. Now even Reynard’s Reactive Heal should be useful now. As another parting gift, the druid gave it a good whack and managed to take out a decent amount of the opponent’s HP. Although that did mean she did more damage than the monk causing the mimic to home in on her. Thus making the cleric’s buff on the monk useless now. It wasn’t just his day.
Not wanting to just stay on the sidelines, Reynard positioned himself behind the mimic and attacked with his sword dishing out what meager damage he could do. A few more attacks between him and Lukav should be enough to kill the monster… or another whack from Mab should finish it off.

“Whoa … whohoo” I was thinking I am about to die again for the seconds ago. But suddenly my health bar returning back to before I got bitten by that monster, that druid girl is good. It was really a good idea to have someone who can use that type of skill when fighting monster in group. Hmm, I learn something new today. Whack! (The druid girl hitting the monster) umm, err, yeah that girl is stronger than me, I have no argument. Mimic [5] HP 55%/MP 100%. |
Tch, the enemy level is five times my current level, that is why its attack is so damn hurt and my attack won’t hurt it much. But I am not defense type to begin with. (Dash)Lukavminaev [1] HP 100%/MP 50% (hit) | Mimic [5] HP 45%/MP 100% (miss) |

See, from its appearance this monster doesn't seems have quick reaction, although its attack is so damn hurt. But (scratch scratch) it looks like I am not the type to inflict high damage. Hmm, but I still have this skill, thanks eh boars for reminding me. Lukavminaev [1] HP 30%/MP 0% (aura saber) | Mimic [5] HP 25%/MP 100% (hit) |
Hmm, what is this glow, oh it's from the cleric guy. It seems like both of my teammate have the same type of skill, although it is in different kind. Well, at least I can keep that monster attention only to me. It is your stage girl. Words (without panels) : 206

Mab cussed softly towards herself. She rarely cussed but this time she felt it was appropriate. There she went out of her way to aggro the creature towards herself, and the monk went and took the aggro away. If he had waited a little longer he could have pounced it without redrawing the creatures aggro. Her simple plan foiled she looked at the monk and could see his health bar had dropped significantly again after taking the hit. With this much level discrepancy they should have just let it attack Mab. If the creature hit her she would suffer probably less due to the fact that she had more hit points. Mab did not believe it was up to her to deal with the slime. The treasure finding thing would be meaningless if she had to deal with it. But since the two starting adventurers did not seem willing or able to finish the slime Mab decided to step in and thwack it one more time with her staff. It took just this hit to remove the remaining 25% from its health bar and disappear. Since the cleric had healing capabilities too she left the healing of Lukav up to him. Mab walked away to allow the boys to discover what was in their treasure chest. Mab walked a bit further as she wanted to find her own treasure. She wandered towards the shoreline once more, looked at the water and dove straight in. After a few minutes of searching the girl felt a handle of what could be a treasure chest. She pulled it and the chest moved with her. It had taken her a little time but she did find a treasure chest from the river. It would very likely be something generic as there was very little protection around it, and when she opened the chest, not even a monster appeared to protect it. “Whoohoo... Treasure!”With that she turned around and looked to see how the two boys were doing.
