Metal Equipment
Materials Required: 1 Metal, 1 Coal, 1 Quencher
A simple metal weapon or armor forged by fledgling blacksmiths. It is crafted from basic materials and isn't that much better than an equivalent beginner item, but it's a start. The Blacksmith that crafts this item may rewrite its name and description. Additionally, a Beginner Equipment can be upgraded to a higher level by performing a Equipment craft with the item in question replacing the Unrefined Metal.
Material Fee:--Paid by Crafter--
5 x 3 x 52 = 780 Gold

Kiss of the Stars -- Level 52 -- They say you shouldn't kiss cold metal because your lips will stick. Well, what happens when the metal kisses you?
A pair of oversized metal fists, crafted with multiple joints and plates to increase their flexibility when held. The detail behind these gauntlets is a true example of the crafter's ability and their will to appease their clients. Even from afar, the work and detail in these hand-held weapons can be seen clear as day. The fists have been created with several layers of plates and interlocking joints. These plates moved slightly back and forth with the movements of the user's hands and wrists, giving the user the ability to tilt, twist, turn, tip, and touch without having to move themselves in any awkward ways. Each plate has been reinforced and made in a single sheet, decreasing the number of weaknesses in the gauntlet's strength, increasing the longevity of the device. Not even the connection points were spared the reinforcement, and extra lubrication was added in order to ensure easy movement of the pieces.
The joints in the gauntlets have been made individually, and have been linked together in a modular fashion. This not only increases their flexibility, but allows the gauntlets to be upgraded, maintained, and personalized by simply pulling the pieces apart with a twist and pull. The Gauntlets have been made in four parts; the fingers, the thumb, the wrist mount, and the palm. The fingers and thumb parts were further broken down to match the number of joints in the fingers of the human hand as well. Each finger in the gauntlets bends, turns, wiggles, and twists with the user's own fingers, removing the risk of breakage or over-stressing the muscles and bones in the actual fingers of the user. This joint movement also increases the capabilities of the gauntlets, allowing them to be used for not only punching, but smacking, stabbing, poking, and best of all; taunting. Further, should the user wish to, the finger joints can be replaced with weapon-docks, allowing for a blade to be inserted into the dock. [Not included in this craft]. The palm and wrist joints have been heavily plated to increase their defense against focused attacks on the weapons. To protect the user, there is an extra plate on the back of both hands as well as a circular guard around where the wrist-joint actually is. Both of these move and rotate with the gauntlets.
The crafter has taken note of the potential uncomfortable feeling of holding the weapons for too long and has addressed this issue very easily. Inside of the hand-held gauntlets, a very cushiony and comfortable cloth lines the walls of the weapons, cradling the wielder's hands and wrists in a soft, comfortable bubble of cushion. This cushion is not so soft that one will be unable to tense their hands, but it is not so weak that fatigue will set in after several hours of use. That is not all, as the crafter knows what can happen with this set up. Because of the threat of potentially sweaty and disgustingly smelly hands, a few holes have been carefully placed near the palm, just beneath a plate there. This allows the insides of the gauntlets to breathe, keeping the user's would-be hot hands cool.
At the bottom of the palm plates, the Funeral Coffin emblem has been engraved. However, it is extremely small and difficult to see at a glance.
