Status: Healthy / Rested~ The Swashbuckler made his down the station, pausing to refer to a flyer that he had ripped off of a wall earlier. Satisfied that he was moving in the right direction, he moved forward, his eyes searching the passing buildings for the one he was looking for. Earlier today, while he was on his usual run to gather information and supplies around Londinium, he noticed a rather perculiar flyer pasted around town. Upon closer inspection, this is what it wrote: "Conference of the Herbalists Calling all Pharmacists! Having problems advancing research? Need crafting advice from other? Just want a fellow Pharmacist to talk to? Come down to the Greenhouse for all your Pharmacists needs!"
A location was also provided on the flyer, as well as the time and date of this conference, which he doubted it would even be once a few dozen Pharmacists too many showed up and demanded a place in this thing. Who organized it? A name was not provided, though it was likely the owner of said building. If he prodded in the right places, he felt like he could get the name of the one most likely putting up the flyers, but there was little point in doing so. In the first place, what was the purpose of this conference thing? It was never mentioned in the suspicious-looking flyer. It looking like a cheap advertisement did not help either. In the end, the Swashbuckler decided that he might as well pay a visit. He was, naturally, wary of entering someone else's private zone: some zones allowed combat, and while he could probably fend off most attackers and escape, the implication of being trapped in someone else's domain was still there. What if he was simply prevented from leaving? Could he use the Call of Home to escape? He had never tried, so of course he would not know. Now that he thought about it, why had he not tried this before? It would certainly give him a lot more confidence when visiting someone else. Or vice-versa, considering it might not work. He passed back a few more unused buildings before he finally found the building he was looking for. Among the maze of buildings, this one particular building stood out, for plants of various kinds were overflowing from the windows and were in danger of spilling onto the streets, the leafy green color a stark contrast to the pale peach color of the walls of the building. Well, he had to at least give the guy props for remodelling the exterior of the building as well, at least. The paint, while simple, was uniform, the difference between this building and its neighbours all too distinct. Glass panes were in every window, and generally, it gave off an ordinary feeling, a feeling that made one think of this as a normal building from their old world. He stepped in front of the door, touching the polished bronze door knob attached to a simple wooden door with a few neat patterns on it. Last chance to back out, he told himself. He stood there for a few moments, then made his final decision, rapping the door with his knuckles once before twisting the door knob and entering the zone. A chance to find out what the other Pharmacists, most of which were probably his competitors in some way or another, were up to was simply too great an opportunity to pass up. So with some worry for his own safety, he stepped into the building. The first thing he noticed was the plants in the interior of the building. They were everywhere. Save for a path to let people walk through, the entire area was filled with plants and herbs of various types. A cursory examination of them revealed a mixure of common and uncommon ingredients, though he failed to spot quite a few of the rarer ingredients amongst the flora present. Perhaps the conditions for optimal growth were too difficult to create? Either way, while the variety of plants might faze many inexperienced Pharmacists, a practiced eye could tell that it was simply a collection of easily obtainable ingredients, nothing more. The second thing he noticed was the roof. It was transparent, probably made of glass. The morning sun streamed in through the glass, bathing the plants in its rays. This was probably where the name of the building came from. While the entire building was not made of glass, probably for privacy reasons, the owner likely saw fit to replace the roof and just call it what he thinks this building is. The third and final thing he noticed was the clearing up ahead, and a massive oak table with tons of wooden chairs surrounding it. There were around two dozen Pharmacists alreay there, mingling with each other. Well, he was technically ten minutes early, so obviously the conference would not have started yet. He could not help but notice that one chair had a slightly higher back as compared to the rest. Likely for the organizer; probably feels superior with that.Thoughts about whether or not this was a good idea came back to him. Of the Pharmacists currently gathered here, appearances alone suggested that there were few who matched his crafting level and only two who surpassed his, though of course, that was purely speculation. He also noted that the best Pharmacist in town, a red haired Pharmacist, was not present. Probably goes to show the extent of this conference. He had half a mind to leave, but at the same time, did not feel like wasting the time getting here. At the very least, he COULD try to figure out what this particular group of Pharmacists have been up to. Hopefully he would not leave empty-handed. Since there was still a few minutes left to the start of the conference, he quickly assessed the people currently present. There was quite a noticable number of Adventurers whose fighting level was still in the single digits. Have they been crafting in the city all this while, too afraid to fight? Again, the feeling that he was wasting his time here crept up on him. ~ Word count: 1030 Total word count after multipliers (Pharmacist): 1545Note: Credits to Kaytina for helping me with this idea. Also, don't expect me to spew out posts this long for the rest of this thread, I'll run out of things to describe eventually.

| New crafting buddies!
Lavinia needed a break, the tedium of the large order was taking it's toll on her. She had to get out and get some fresh air or she'd go mad, or more mad, whichever. So when the pharmacy shopkeeper told her about a gathering of pharmacists Lavinia jumped on board immediately. She thought it would be nice to have others who are interested in the pharmacy trade to talk to, even if everyone viewed each other as competition for profit. Lavinia was never really in it for profit, sure if she could make some gold making potions great, but she was really in it to help others. If her items or an item she invented could help prevent someone's death she was happy.
"It was today, right?" Lavinia thought as she headed toward the building the shopkeeper described as where the gathering would take place. He told her look for the giant greenhouse, how hard could that be. She wondered how many people would actually show up to something like this, not the big name crafters that's for sure. They wouldn't have much reason to be here and would probably just want to monopolize the market for themselves anyway. Lavinia wondered if she would actually learn anything useful at the meeting.
Coming upon the greenhouse, it was a sight to see. Foliage hangs the building giving the whole thing a very enchanted garden feel, Lavinia couldn't wait to see what it was like inside. The inside was just as amazing as the outside, rows of flowers and herbs, all ingredients for potions or other craft-able items. As she walked through this Eden for Pharmacists, Lavinia smells the various flowers as she walks, making a note not to smell the poisonous ones. Coming to an opening, Lavinia is looking over a grassy field with a large table and many chairs already filled with people she assumed were Pharmacists like herself. Even though she was five minutes early there were so many, but there was one person not at the table.
Lavinia looks at the young man, about similar in height and age, judging by appearances alone. Lavinia recognized the name, Icyferno, one of more active Pharmacists around, pretty talented as well according to the rumors and gossip. Walking up to him Lavinia doesn't make eye contact unless he does with her even after she speaks. "This your conference?" she asks him looking over the group that had gathered around the table. She didn't think it was, but hearing about the gathering by word of mouth means Lavinia didn't actually see the posts, plus its a decent ice breaker.

Agata walked around the damaged station again once more. Much like the last time, his reasons for doing so were of idle curiosity. This time around though, this curiosity was born from an outside source. He looked left and right before digging through the pouch attached to the side of his belt where he keeps his items. Agata took out a flyer and scanned through it one more time. Apparently they were having a Pharmacist meet. Since Agata's only plan at the moment is to wander the game until he figures something out, he figured he might as well attend. He has to be self sufficient enough to make his own healing items in order to sustain himself since a good chunk of his plan involves wandering the field were monsters of all kinds would roam. He folded the flyer and started to continue walking to the green house where the meeting is said to take place.
Agata walked on into the the green house. He should confess something right now. He only chose the pharmacist subclass since, in MMO terms, they tend to be the ones to churn out items. He studied language, not medicine mixing! This was going to be an adventure and half given how he heard that one has to now mix the items themselves for effectiveness. He's gaze moved from the various plants over to the other two present. Agata can't help but to whistle as he read the levels. The girl was a level 26 Enchanter and the boy was a level 24 Swashbuckler. Without a doubt, this made Agata himself look completely unimpressive. He waved over to them.
"Here for the meeting too. I'm Agata, nice to meet you." Might as well get to know what could be his future information banks. He pulled himself a chair as he waited for the meeting to start. Tag: Pharmacists and other invited guests Word Count: 313 Notes: Throwing him in

Status: Healthy / Rested~ The dictionary definition of a meeting is an assembly or conference of persons for a specific purpose. In this case, the purpose was to discuss some Pharmaceutical things, for was that not the reason all of those present came for? It was the thing about speaking to others that was the issue at hand. Sure, he had been keeping tabs on the latest developments concerning the Pharmacist subclass, but there was still much information to be desired. One thing he had to note was that he was not the only person to come here, not knowing anyone. This deduction was due to the fact that there were a few straggling Adventurers simply standing to the side, not talking to anyone, just minding their own business. And suddenly, a horrific event happened to him. Someone actually came in, and talked to him. The person in question was a young looking woman who was likely within his age range, wearing a lot of black things, from a pair of black boots to a pair of black pants to a black shirt, if he could call a garment that did not cover the shoulders a shirt, to a black hooded cloak which was unbuttoned to allow the face of the female Adventurer to be seen. This person, who he clearly did not know, was a Human Enchanter from the looks of it, and around the same level as him. Of course, he could not see the levels of her subclasses, but he was pretty sure they had be be withing ten levels of his own. This was strange in itself, of course. Being the lazy person that he was, he was far behind most of the other Adventurers who had started out both at the same time as him and people who came later. This person seemed like the kind of person who was much more diligent than him; how long it had been since she appeared, he would not be able to tell. Everyday, new Adventurers would pop up somewhere in Londinium, and while the reasons as to why this phenomenon occurs is unknown, there were theories that it was due to lag of some sort, for the people who arrived later did not seem to have come of their own free will. Setting the question of when this person entered this world aside, this strange young lady spoke to him in a strange fashion, looking away as she asked him a question. He knew this was so because he glanced about him and quickly noticed that there was no one around him, so if she were not talking to him, then she would be talking to some invisible familiar, which, as far as he knew, was a mob that none had ever met yet. Maybe they had, but never actually noticed. But that was simply some musings on his part, for the words spoken did not reflect the existence of such a mob. " This your conference?" A question made up of three words, which would technically be correct should a single word be added. He decided there was no harm in correcting her, for there would be no repercussions for doing so. " Correction: This NOT my conference. I am here because I don't really have anything to do at the moment." It was true to a large extent: If he were not here in this very place, he would likely be slacking off elsewhere. For a brief moment, he thought to respond with a question of his own, perhaps along the lines of 'Who are you?', but he paused, uncertain as to whether or not this was something he should be saying to the girl he had just met. All that a person could see would probably be a face that wants to ask a question but doesn't know how to go about doing so. And then the situation got from bad to worse, although in hindsight, it could have deterioriated even further. A second Adventurer butted in to their conversation. This second person was thankfully a guy. The Adventurer in question was a slightly skinny person with jet black hair, blue eyes and very pale skin. Wearing black pants and black shoes, the trend of people with black clothing was thankfully ended by the grey top the second person was wearing. A single sentence of greeting was uttered from the fellow Swashbuckler's mouth, and he responded with a greeting of his own. There was roughly three minutes left before the thing should be getting underway, so there was no escpaing these two. Guess he had no choice but to entertain these two then. " Does anybody know what we'll be going over today?" Just as he had finished this question, yet another Adventurer butted their way into the conversation. It was almost as if he were a people magnet. This last Adventurer, a Sorceror from the looks of it, was dressed immaculately in a flowing silver robe, a well-used leatherbound book tucked under his left arm. Neatly trimmed brown hair framed a pair of inquisitive forest green eyes, a slight smile upon the Adventurer's pursed lips. Judging from the face alone, this person could be no older than twenty. " Greetings!" The Sorceror said in a very dramatic voice, one which coincidentally also confirmed his age range. " I am Rorn, the organizer of this meeting. I would like to personally thank the three of you for coming here today. Should you have any questions, I would like to request that you leave them for the event later on. Please help yourselves to the refreshments if you need them, they are available in front of the hourglass shaped tree." Gesturing to one side, he indeed saw a small table laden with fruits and other things, but that was beside the point, for he was not hungry. The point was that this person had the nerve to group him together with total strangers, but he did not act upon it, for nothing would come out of it. The Sorceror bowed and took his leave, smoothly walking over to another group to repeat the procedure. Well, he supposed it might be natural for the host to welcome the guests, so he did not mention anything about that. Keeping his tone neutral and his first impressions to himself, he muttered aloud. " Hm, so that's the guy. Never seen him before." ~ Tags: Lavinia AgataWord count: 1064 Total word count after multipliers (Pharmacist): 1545 + 1064 = 2609 Note: The meeting thing will be starting once I get back and I post again. | Icy can see back in time? wut? ♥ Lavinia looked at Icy out of the corner of her eye as he spoke, neutral tone of voice, gets right to the point, maybe a shut in? "I see." Lavinia replies to Icy correctly her. She really couldn't tell if he was a shut in, after all their similarity in level couldn't be used to indicate as such. Anyway Lavinia looked at the other adventure that joined them and smiled. It was nice to see newer people who haven't even started their crafting careers yet show up to this event. But there was one problem, Icyferno's visual observation of Lavinia was way off. She now had dyed red/orange hair that shows her black roots at the part in her hair. Her default outfit is much different than what he think he saw, plus she isn't wearing it anyway. She was wearing the outfit she had made for when she's in town or crafting. This outfit was designed to be comfortable yet look appealing and boost her crafting potential. Lavinia was rather happy she had it made. Maybe this person was so lazy he could see back in time and saw what Lavinia's previous outfit looked like and couldn't tell the difference? Who knows... As the enchantress looks over the group potentially scouting out a location to sit when the sorcerer makes his entrance. Lavinia wonders if this is finally the person who organized this and she got her answer soon enough. Lavinia returned his greeting with a smile but decided not to say anything until after he left. Laughing under her breath "Well he's flamboyant." Lavinia says to no one in particular. The table of refreshments caught her eye though so she would wait for Icy to reply or probably not reply before she headed over to it. Turning to Icy looking at him she tilted her head to the side ever do slightly before she spoke "If you'll excuse me." she said and headed to the table. It didn't take Lavinia long to scan the table and find what she hoped they had, strawberries. They had all kinds of dips you could partake in if you liked Lavinia preferred hers the way they are. After eating about four and six more in her hand Lavinia decides it might be getting close to starting time so she looks for a seat and takes one that has a younger looking man on her left and a empty seat to her right. |

"Does anybody know what we'll be going over today?" Agata shrugged. He was a completely newbie pharmacist who can't even make a simple potion for himself. Before any guesses could be made, an adventurer walked on in. According to his status screen, he was a Sorcerer, carrying a large book. Who was this individual? Though seeing as how he was walking among the group and his presenting himself in a grandiose manner, Agata could assume he is the meeting arranger. The Sorcerer's words only confirmed it.
"Greetings! I am Rorn, the organizer of this meeting. I would like to personally thank the three of you for coming here today. Should you have any questions, I would like to request that you leave them for the event later on. Please help yourselves to the refreshments if you need them, they are available in front of the hourglass shaped tree. " Agata started to walk on over to the table and smiled at the variety of fruit here. Strawberries, pears, grapes, apples, they had all sorts of stuff. Agata started to start hogging for lack of a better term. His arm was already filled with various fruits that he collected form the table. One wondered if he was here for the refreshments and not the pharmacist lessons. Agata started to look for a seat and smiled as he spotted an empty one next to an orange haired lady in a red outfit, the Enchanter he saw earlier. He quickly took a seat and started to chew through his food.
" Hrm..." Agata took a moment to gulp down the apple he was chewing on. "Oh wow, this stuff is go-oh right, my question." Agata took a moment to think. "Think this place is going to teach some basic stuff or something or the like? They said advanced research but I don't know thing one." Now, Agata would wait for the lady he was sitting next to answer but he felt he could pass the time by popping in a few grapes in his mouth. Hey, they said they were available after all. "Actually say, what is your Pharmacy level?" Agata said with his cheeks slightly stuffed with grapes.
Note: Not counting since he technically isn't getting any pharmacy stuff done. He's just pigging out on the free food like some college students.

Status: Healthy / Rested~ Good news all around: After the organizer guy left, Agata headed for refreshments, and so did Lavinia, albeit more politely. No, he did not join them, he had already gotten something to eat, and besides, he still had a lot of chocolate eclairs. But before we continue, it should be said that at the present moment, he was still experimenting with dyes. At that moment, he had yet to learn of a certain Pharmacist's recipe for Henna Dyes, and was, in his own foolishness, still attempting to make the colors last on a prototype version, for the colors simply refused to stay on for longer than a few hours. After being surrounded by a wide variety of colors, his ability to see color had probably gone haywire and he would probably need a while to get his eyesight fixed. As for why he could not even describe the clothing of the person he had just seen, he could not really explain it. Perhaps he had indeed seen this person before, wearing another outfit, for why would he describe it as so? Or maybe he was going delusional. Maybe someone could come up with a cure for that. Or he could look into it sometime later if he remembered, whichever came first. Unfortunately for him, the meeting would have to begin sooner or later, because the appointed time was fast approaching. People quickly found empty seats, which was to be expected with the number of chairs situated along the massive table which dominated the area. In any case, there were a couple of additional chairs stacked up next to the refreshments area, probably just in case. He wondered if they would find need for them sooner or later. Oh well. The two people he had spoken to found their own seats, of note was the Enchanter who did not sit next to him, which was good, in a way. At least look at people when you talk to someone, was something she probably needed to learn. But of course, he did not say this out loud. It was not like he knew the person or anything, so unless absolutely necessary, it was unlikely that he would do so. Unless he was going to see this person around a lot, then that might be a different story. But that’s enough about the two Adventurers he had just met, at least for now. The meeting thingy was starting. As the last few straggling Pharmacists slid into empty seats, the guy who called himself Rorn stood up from his probably slightly elevated chair with an obviously slightly higher back, probably with a very big ego. What was his name… Rorn, was it? “ A very big thank you to all of you who have chosen to come here today. As some of you may already know, my name is Rorn, and I am a Pharmacist just like all of you gathered here today. As the organizer of this small meeting, I am pleased to...” Ohhh boy. This guy reminded him of some kind of salesperson selling him something he did not need. Regret level for attending this thing has just increased by 100%. The words of this guy seemed to drone on through his head, and he pretty much tuned out the first few minutes, for it was all about random things like crafting by hand, ingredient efficiencies, et cetera. Well, he supposed this thing was about that, after all, so even if he wanted to voice a complaint, there was really no reason for it. Hopefully this did not show on his face. The scene then progressed to be that of a group discussion, with the Sorcerer guy bringing up specific topics, like ‘Best herbs to use in preparing a [Sleeping Potion]’, ‘How to identify fresher herbs’, and the other people sitting around the table either arguing or agreeing. He himself did not participate, but from his own perspective, it felt as if Rorn was a class monitor leading a class discussion. From a group discussion point of view, the whole thing seemed to be running pretty smoothly, at the very least. The person seemed to know what he was doing. Topics were relevant, check. Rorn seems to be controlling the atmosphere well, check. Technically, there was nothing to complain about. But then again, this was merely the start, and anything could happen. Only the first fifteen minutes of the gathering thing had passed which, now that he thought about it, had no specific end date. Well crap, there had better be a break time somewhere.~ Tags: Lavinia AgataWord count: 762 Total word count after multipliers (Pharmacist): 1545 + 1064 + 762 = 3371 Note: Following Sileas' suggestion, I have edited accordingly to let the thread develop on its own. Lavinia quietly enjoyed her strawberries as she sat in her chair looking around at the other attendees. The enchantress saw someone come over to take the seat beside her, it was the pharmacist from before, Agata going off his nameplate. Lavinia gave him a friendly smile as she finished another strawberry, she had no issue with this, she hoped this meeting was a success and that means a full table. Overhearing Agata's comments on the refreshment she smiled with amusement, he was right these strawberries were tasty so Lavinia started on another. Mid strawberry Lavinia hears Agata speak again looking over at him to confirm he was actually talking to her she, listened to his question and would answer as soon as she finished this mouthful. "I don't see why they wouldn't cover the basics. Wouldn't hurt to ask if he doesn't, I guess." she replies with her usually soft tone of voice. It really shouldn't be that much trouble for the group to cover the basics, Agata may not be the only inexperienced Pharmacist here. Hearing her neighbor speak again, Lavinia looks over at him as he asks what her pharmacist level is. Judging by their conversation so far, Lavinia had a decent guess what Agata's was, maybe in the 1 to 5 range. "Twenty two, how about you? I'm Lavinia." she says looking at Agata once again.
Finally the flamboyant man from earlier spoke to signify the start of the meeting. He called himself Rorn and from the way he talks he sounds like he's about to tell us the sales pitch, at least it'll be interesting. Reaching into her bag Lavinia pulls out a notebook and a writing utensil, if the group covered anything Lavinia don't know she wanted to have it written down. First he covered some of the basics, something like a teacher lecturing his students, this made Lavinia happy since that was why Agata was here. Leaning over to him "Make sure you take notes." she whispers and laughs before returning to normal sitting position.
Next was a discussion on what herbs to use for a sleeping potion. Lavinia has yet to make one of these before, so as the group discussed the herbs, got off topic and discussed other points about the potion and then got rained back in my Rorn, she scribbled down what they said in her book. About a paragraph of useful information, just brief phrases or names to bring back the memory of that portion of the discussion.
Next Rorn brought up herb freshness and how to tell just how fresh the herb is. This is something Lavinia could contribute on, as soon as Rorn was done talking Lavinia took a deep breath and bit the bullet. "One way to tell is brittle and how the surface texture feels. If you try and fold the herb like paper and it breaks or shows signs of stress before the fold is significant, the chances are it's not fresh. This of course isn't true for all herbs and is just an example. There is also herbs that react to the oxygen in the air, so you can keep them fresh by keeping them in an oil based solution so they keep fresh for a long time." she says aloud to the group, Lavinia would listen to any further comments the gathering had on this subject and take notes on new unfamiliar methods. At least, this gathering was going well so far, Lavinia hoped the group could continue this level of discussion for the whole duration.

"I don't see why they wouldn't cover the basics. Wouldn't hurt to ask if he doesn't, I guess." That was reasonable enough to assume. Though given how much the meeting holder is going on, Agata was beginning to fear what that would entail. "Twenty two, how about you? I'm Lavinia." Twenty two? Hot damn, Agata really did slack off...then again if his habit of sleeping on random flat rocks wasn't enough of an indicator. He spent how many weeks without a single bit of grinding? It was amazing he survived off the gold he had at all. Agata looked at Lavina after finishing off another fruit.
"I'm Agata. My Pharmacy level is a pitiful 1." Agata decided to put down the food on his lap. Rorn was now digging deeper into his lecture and actually talking about somethings that might be useful. "At least his rambling is going to be good for something now." Agata whispered to himself as he dug through his inventory for something he could use, before remembering the amount of fruit he had on his lap and quickly threw the mass of fruit in the bag before he managed to drag out a piece of paper and dug through another pocket of the bag for a cheap writing utensil.
"Make sure you take notes." Lavina's advice did not go unnoted. Agata already had a scrap of paper and writing down some of the basics. Specifically what stood out to him was the usage of Rank 1 crafting items such as the Impure Tablet, Impure Solvent, and Base Herb. Roron quickly went over how he could use two Impure Solvents and an Impure Tablet to make a Burn Cream as a quick overview of how mixing the ingredients together works in this world now. It was a good lesson to note and finally, once Agata spend the gold he got from all those monsters he killed properly, he can finally make his own healing items. This is going to help a lot seeing as how Arrasi didn't seem to have any healing abilities on her last he checked.
"One way to tell is brittle and how the surface texture feels. Lavina answered in regard to herbs. Agata started to take notes on this too. Granted, he still wasn't sure what he could use Base Herbs for, but he could make use of this information. "If you try and fold the herb like paper and it breaks or shows signs of stress before the fold is significant, the chances are it's not fresh. This of course isn't true for all herbs and is just an example. There is also herbs that react to the oxygen in the air, so you can keep them fresh by keeping them in an oil based solution so they keep fresh for a long time." Oil based solution? Agata thought about what that would entail. Well, this meeting was made to help so Agata raised his hand.
"What solutions would you imagine being best suited for their storage? Any oil based solution would really do?" He might as well see if he heard about ways to obtain it. Agata technically still had a lot of room in his bag so getting a few jars of the stuff before he went out adventuring again wouldn't hurt at all. One can argue he is jumping ahead seeing as how the purchasing of Impure Solvents and Impure Tablets are going to have to be a first but none the less...

Status: Healthy / Rested~ Well, the discussion has certainly moved on to a point of interest which was more relevant to Pharmacists of all levels. He guessed he should actually listen now. Let's review what he had just heard. First off, the important bits of reviewing came when that Enchanter described how to tell which herbs were fresh, and how to store them. For the most part, a student living in the city such as himself had little opportunities to tell which fruits and vegetables were fresh. At best, he could probably tell which ones were rotten and which were not. So naturally, such information would help him, even if only by a little bit. And so when the other Swashbuckler he had met decided to ask a question of his own, he felt that at the very least, he should contribute in some way to this, else he would purely be leeching off of the meeting. He would feel bad if that were to happen. This particular question was about oil based solutions used in storing herbs which react to oxygen when exposed to oxygen in the air. These herbs usually did not last long once removed from the source, and have to be stored quickly unless you want some strange crap when you finally decide you want to use it in a craft. While he could not consider himself an expert on ingredient storage, he did know of some things, by and large through trial and error. So standing up, placing his hands at a shoulder's length from each other with his fingers spread out and touching the surface of the table while his palm remained in the air. This was, of course, a few seconds after the other person spoke, because he obviously needed the time to collect his thoughts. During the time lag between the question and him standing up, there was some murmuring, but he ignored it because he needed to focus. He was probably not the only person who had some answer, but rather, he was likely being one of the idiots who were stupid enough to share what he knew. Information was slow to travel without the accessibility afforded to them by the internet, so naturally, information became more and more valuable as more of it is acquired by individuals, who may or may not share their knowledge. " There are quite a wide variety of oil based solutions available if you check the various stalls around town, but the best solution would likely depend on what kind of herb you are planning to store. It should be common sense that herbs denser than the solution would sink, so first and foremost, the solution you use must be less dense than the herb you are planning to keep. It might be tempting to just use the solution which has the lowest density all the time, but sometimes a cheaper alternative could suffice. You would also need to ensure there are no air bubbles present when you store the herbs, because not only do air bubbles lower the overall density of the solution, there will definitely be some oxygen in it as well." Well, that was quite the mouthful. He had little else to add, so he decided to conclude it at that point and take a seat. If anybody had something to add at this point, he would be likely to glean something from that addition. It was at that point that he finally began to listen to the murmurs that were going on before he decided to bite the bullet and answer the guy's question. The target of the whispers seem to be that Swashbuckler who asked the question, and the following was some of things he heard. " Hey, isn't that person the guy who made a girl cry in that bar a long time ago?" " Actually, wasn't it two girls?" " I heard he tried to do nasty things to them." " That kind of person is the lowest, trying to take advantage of girls in broad daylight." It should be noted that while gossip was likely to be exaggerated, the source of such gossips was likely to have a shred of truth in it. Which would likely mean that for some reason or another, this guy had apparently caused someone to cry. This could be a complete misunderstanding, of course, but why two? Unless that part was made up too. Urgh, having been presented something with no other sources of information, it was hard to tell apart truth from fiction. Perhaps the accused could clear up the misunderstanding without seeming like he was lying? ~ Tags: Lavinia AgataWord count: 767 Total word count after multipliers (Pharmacist): 1545 + 1064 + 762 + 767 = 4138 Note: More posting material for Agata: Clear up the misunderstandings. LaviniaLevel 26: Enchanter Level 22: Pharmacist Level 11: Scholar Note: New Template... :) Lavinia smiled at Agata calling his level pitiful, she remembered back when she was level one. She didn't have much confidence in her skill and not much experience either. But she did have her recipe book that the Pharmacy shopkeeper gave her, it was an old book that held some of the more basic potion recipes and other useful information. Lavinia considered loaning it to Agata, by this point she didn't need it and it would be a great help to him, but it was a sort of keep sake. She'll have to think about it. The next thing he said rang true, his rambling a were finally good for something. It made Lavinia laugh a bit to loud, it wasn't expected and caught her off guard. Her cheeks turning slightly red "Sorry..." she says softly to the group.
It didn't come as much of a surprise when the question where to find the oils she mentioned in her explanation. But this time the other swashbuckler stepped up to comment and add to the discussion. Lavinia wondered if he was going to speak up and offer something, she was glad that he finally did since information is valuable here. His directions and explanation about where to find and how to use the oils were spot on, at least to Lavinia's knowledge. Lavinia thought to explain that you can make these oils yourself if you have the equipment or a lot of free time. If you pressed some kind of berry found in the swamps, the juices from the berries could be used to store certain herbs. But she lacked some of the knowledge to explain it fully, like what to gather or what it looks like. So she decided against it.
The murmurs from the gathering of pharmacists took a different turn when Agata asked his question. Very subtle talk at first, but soon enough their words would be clear, according to them Agata made two girls cry. Lavinia looked around at the members of the gathering then at Agata wearing a face that says "Really?"but she didn't say it aloud. The girl next to him bursted out laughing for a moment. Agata flinched at how sudden it was. Was what he said about the rambling that funny to her? Several heads turned to her in wondering what exactly Agata said. There was some whispering after a moment of silence.
"Sorry..." Agata opened his mouth to say something...
"There are quite a wide variety of oil based solutions available if you check the various stalls around town, but the best solution would likely depend on what kind of herb you are planning to store."...and was cut off before he admitted that he found the girl's cheeks turning red more than a little cute but an individual started to speak. Another Swashbuckler. He had a slightly higher combat level and pharmacist level than the girl next to him. Guess that meant that there was another person he could ask around for info now. "It should be common sense that herbs denser than the solution would sink, so first and foremost, the solution you use must be less dense than the herb you are planning to keep. It might be tempting to just use the solution which has the lowest density all the time, but sometimes a cheaper alternative could suffice. You would also need to ensure there are no air bubbles present when you store the herbs, because not only do air bubbles lower the overall density of the solution, there will definitely be some oxygen in it as well." Agata nodded and took note of everything he said and summarized it in his head. Solution must be less dense than the herb that is to be stored. Ensure no air bubbles are present. Agata smiled at his note...before his ears perked.
"Hey, isn't that person the guy who made a girl cry in that bar a long time ago?" Agata shuddered.
"Actually, wasn't it two girls?" A twitch was followed.
"I heard he tried to do nasty things to them."
"That kind of person is the lowest, trying to take advantage of girls in broad daylight." Agata started to sink into his chair. There was still bad rumors going being passed around about him after all this time?! Laviana's stare at him almost felt like his HP was dropping. The judging eyes were not at all helping.
"That was a long time ago and a misunderstanding." Agata weakly said, trying to salvage what little of his reputation existed. "I kinda miss being called that bum who sleeps on rocks now." Maybe Agata should've started his journey to explore Elder Tale much earlier. Where he was at least high level enough to be able to reach another city and maybe get away? "No, running away would just make me look worse..." Agata looked visibly depressed as he took out a pear and started to chew on it in hopes the taste would comfort him. It was at this point he was silently thanking this Swashbuckler for cutting him off. "If I sa wha I amo sad I wou luuk wos." He swallowed the pear bits he was chewing on. "I'll just...sulk." Agata sunk even lower into the seat and started to chew on the rest of the pear in hopes for peace and that he'd get the chance to explain himself after this meet.

Status: Healthy / Rested~ He was pretty sure the discussions were slowly getting away from the topics he had hoped to listen to. One moment, everything was perfectly fine. Even if they mostly talked about things he had already learned through trial and error, he did not mind the recap, and actually contributed for once. Not that you would expect him to contribute again, because information was not free. In the further stages of the discussion, there was always the possibility that someone else learned of something useful through a different mindset than his. The next moment, when the other Swashbuckler spoke, the terror known as rumours began to circulate around the table, whispers of the horrors he had apparently inflicted upon two girls growing more crazy, more unbelievable, more menacing by the rumour. And all the person in question did was shrink back into his seat, mumbling something incoherent. This only served to further aggravate the rumours, which were now something along the lines of ' a wild, uncontrollable beast who lusts after girls'. If he had to compare this to something, it would seem like something out of an anime, with the malicious aura coming off of some of the female members of the audience particularly noticeable. Even if he could not see it, it was certainly felt as the gossips lent power to them, causing their power to break through to unprecented levels the likes of which were never seen before, and they were about to bring down this wrath on the poor Swashbuckler who may or may not have committed these monstrosities so atrocious that it seemed that he had somehow even induced the tavern's occupants to indulge in some malicious acts of their own against their free will. How was that even possible? Was this some unknown Swashbuckler skill he had never heard of before? What were the activation requirements? What was the skill specifics? Was this even a real skill, or had the gossiping finally broke through the doors known as logic and started rampaging in the hearts of those that spoke of this incident? If a outsider were to come in and survey the situation for five seconds, the person would most certainly not have guessed that this was the avenue of a relatively mild dicussion just minutes before. Not that it was the person's fault, but that was roughly how much the feelings caused by a single rumour and a little bit of gossiping could evolve into. This was going to turn into a bloodbath in a few minutes if things continued the way they did. He briefly considered escaping before the chaos started. It was then that the organizer guy stepped in to try to resolve the issue. His name was Rorn, I think. This guy spoke in a rather loud and booming voice, the perfect thing to have when solving this kind of heated arguments. " ENOUGH! I don't know what sort of things this person," he gestured towards Agata while he did so, " did, but right now, we are still in the middle of discussions. So I would appreciate it if you waited until this is over before doing whatever you wish to him outside of my zone." An even voice, with a slight trace of contempt and disgust, enamated from the Sorceror's lips. The eyes of the Sorceror narrowed at Agata, clearly annoyed that this person had disrupted the flow of things which he had so painstakingly created. Clearly, the rumours had lowered the Adventurer's opinion of the person in question, but if it were up to the Swashbuckler who sat observing the whole situation without a word, he would be more inclined to say that there was not enough information to determine the truth. It would possibly takes days or weeks, a lot of bribes and a couple of middlemen to track down who was in the bar and what actually happened, compare the sources and link the similarities to piece together what happened that day. The room was silent for a moment, the tension slowly slipping away from those present, but not completing fading away. Once Rorn sensed that the atmosphere had calmed down, he gave what looked to the Swashbuckler as a fake, plastered smile and said in a calm and less threatening voice: " Let's continue, shall we?" ~ Tags: Lavinia AgataWord count: 717 Total word count after multipliers (Pharmacist): 1545 + 1064 + 762 + 767 + 717 = 4855 Note: Late post is late post. This round is mostly to clean up before we move on to the next one, which means that if both of you have a chance to add in your own events before I feel obligated to come up with one to continue this thread.

LaviniaLevel 26: Enchanter Level 22: Pharmacist Level 11: Scholar Note: ... Lavinia watched Agata with the same stare as the rumors surrounding him got worse. This was getting out of hand, if what they said was true Agata wouldn't be able to show his face in public, at all. He'd be hunted the moment he showed his face by bounty hunters and other such folk, which obviously wasn't the case. So as he said this was a misunderstanding, things happen and one thing can easily snowball into something worse, Lavinia was starting to feel bad for Agata. She wanted to stick up for him, yell at the gathering and tell them to bluntly shut up and take their drama else where. But thankfully the Sorcerer stepped in and reeled in the group of landers and adventures spreading the rumors. He calmly spoke about continuing and Lavinia had an idea on what to discuss next.
With the ever expanding borders of the adventures reach into new lands comes new knowledge and new materials. Lavinia was hoping the group could discuss the recent new herbs that the expedition teams have brought back. Luckily Lavinia had access to the adventure who discovered them, a daring adventure who loved to explore that goes by the alias "Silly". Lavinia didn't know much about her, but she did know that Silly made her discoveries public knowledge and displayed her reports in the library in Londinium for everyone to see. Lavinia took a deep breath and crossed her hands over her chest and leaned back against the chair before she spoke "If I may, I'd like to speculate about the new herbs recently discovered in the outer territories." Lavinia would wait for Rorn to allow or deny her request, though she didn't think any Pharmacist would want to turn down a chance to hear about a new material they'll get to play with.
After giving Rorn time to confirm, but before anyone else spoke Lavinia continued after all she brought up the topic so she should be the first to offer information to start. "For those of you who aren't aware recent reports have stated that several new varieties of herbs have been discovered. If I recall correctly the first shipment will be coming in for testing and experimentation in roughly a week. I'm curious what people think will be discovered once the crafting guilds get their hands on them and what possible new potions could be created with them." she said to the group, of course this was all speculation but the team did some field testing to determine the herbs use, if it had one so the reports did contain some information about possible magical qualities that could help spark ideas. Lavinia had ideas of her own of course, however just giving out an idea doesn't mean it could be stolen so easily like she assumed most people here were scared of. It took more than just an idea to create a new consumable, so without knowing how to approach creating said item it should be more difficult for others even if they have the same idea. "I'll start, the Mutavi herb, shows possible signs of allowing more potent element based items, such as resistance potions. Even if not variants for every element has been discovered or even exists." she continued offering the first bit of what others would call valuable knowledge to the group.
