(just to help avoid the sewing thread getting to hectic, ill be putting this here for my personal item research)
Cheap Silk Gloves Research 2 Level 1 Materials (1 Cheap Thread and 1 Cheap Silk) Research attempt
Aeon began working on a few project ideas of his own, he wondered if he could cast his magic but still keep his hands warm, so he set to work on making a pair of silk gloves, silk is very good at containing heat, of the wearer but is also very thin I think in theory I might be able to cast through the gloves without destroying them.
Aeon set to work first marking out his hands on the cheap silk before cutting out the hand pieces, using a few branches to support the fingers, he stitched his way around the glove cross-stitching the cuts together. Once that was done he proceeded to use off cuts to add extra protection of a few layers of silk around the wrist, to hopefully provide a snug fit if tucked into the sleeves and so on.
With the gloves complete Aeon set to personalising them, he began embroidering the top to the gloves to match the racial tattoos on his hands. Running thread carefully through while as best as he could creating the outline of his markings.

Aeon Research: Underwear Using 3 Level 1 material, 1 Silk and 2 Thread
So i was told by a LN reader that you dont have any underwear so i better invent them quick
Aeon, knowing the fact no players had started with under-garments began work, on the idea of trying to fashion some underwear looking at the materials he knew about he had some Cheap Fabric and Cheap Silk and Thread.
The Cheap Fabric was rather rough, this would cause serious problems he was pretty sure for any guys, what if it started being abrasive while being worn, everything would end up worn and he didn’t think the women in game would much enjoy it either but what could he tell he was a guy in game and out after all.
Next he looked at the silk, he had it wasn’t of the best quality in the world but it was rather softer than the Fabric and wasn’t as rough and abrasive, It would in his mind be the best choice for making at least an early prototype.
Of course without a form of elastic they would have to be made to measurements to actually fit to the wearer.
Finding somewhere to get off the streets, Aeon started by taking measurements and drawing them down in the best way he could as of note.
Taking out a Roll of Cheap Silk, Aeon first began by designing a pair of Boxer like underwear, he thought to himself.
“I could design something like a pull cord, with the cheap thread pull it tight round the waist and tie it off should keep them up”
Aeon proceed to first make the underwear themselves to his size, running extra stitching down the connecting points taking care to make sure they would be baggy enough to pass legs through.
After that was complete Aeon set to attaching off cuts of silk round the top while twining a second reel of thread so he could make a pull cord, once this was complete, he fixed it in as tight as possible between silk layers.
Aeon thought to himself “well with the fact underwear has to be made, couldn’t tailors hold a monopoly of the market, maybe I’ll get remembered for being the first to make a pair and make some for the common market, thought I might need a female business partner because I doubt women want a man to make their underwear, if they can actually bump into its maker unlike all those that were made in India in the real world”
Aeon was happy with his creation hoping it would make it a little easier for everyone to adjust to there new world now that they could feel slightly more comfortable than being commando all the time.

Satchel Bag research Part 1
After Aeon had magnificently lost his magic bag, well he wish he had lost it magnificently because he was sure that leaving it somewhere in the city didn’t count as magnificently.
Aeon needed a Bag and Pronto.
Grabbing together a range of materials.
Aeon thought about the types of bags he could make.
What about a backpack, Aeon looked at the materials he had some cheap silk and fabric and some crappy thread were his cheaper items, the next stage was what looked like a leather pieces or a leather strap and some stronger thread and finally a couple of buttons.
Aeon leant back trying to think about what he could do scrolling back through time through his memory.
Something suddenly appeared in his head, it was a Hellbug from Defiance, the cogs of his brain began to tick over as it thought over the image.
It appeared he had a satchel bag once in the real world, he was sure he could put something together.
Aeon quickly grabbed a small piece of chalk and began drawing away.
Well if I used the some fabric I could make the bag itself, though what about holding the straps because I’ll have to use those leather straps for this.
Aeon grabbed hold of some cheap thread and pulled on it, it didn’t take long for it to snap.
“no that wont work” Aeon grabbed the other thread this seemed stronger, but it still snapped after some more force.
Aeon spoke aloud to himself “Well I guess ill have to use the more expensive thread and those straps but the fabric should do it would just need some patching up that’s all, maybe ill even get all fancy and silk line it”

Satchel Bag Part 2
Aeon proceeded to start his work taking out a roll of cheap fabric he began firstly by cutting it into the dimensions he wanted, slicing the fabric as carefully as he could trying to avoid fraying to much of it, or causing the cheap stuff’s fibres to become even more separated that they already were.
Once this was complete Aeon grabbed a roll of silk and cut the exact same pieces from silk with some extra length in each of them.
“I think I’ll go fancy might as well” he said
Grabbing hold of the stronger thread, stitching into the Silk and the Fabric bringing them together, tightly bound, Aeon continued this method around each piece before he brought them together and began stitching the edges of the fabric through into the extended silk pieces before coming back into the connecting pieces of fabric proceeding this all the way up the connections before coming back and double stitching them for double security.
Once the main section of the bag as complete, Aeon put down his needles and looked at his hand, he was surprised there were a good few punctures in him but he didn’t seem to notice it as much now.

Satchel Bag Research Part 3 Completion
Now with the main bag done it was the hard part, Aeon took the strap in hand and slowly cut into it, splitting two ends of so it would go over the outside and the inside of the satchel.
Taking his needle he tried best he could but his needles were lacking the punch to break through leaving it imbedded in the leather, Aeon came up with the bright idea of hammering it through with his scabbard.
For the next half an hour came out shouts and cries of frustration as Aeon repeatedly had to batter needle after needle with the scabbard to push the needles through the leather.
But eventually it was done, at least 20 needles had been bent, from the beating they had received.
Aeon said to himself “I should really find a better way to do this”
Aeon picked up a Button, “I guess I can at least add a button to the flap", making a small sideways incision into the bags flap, Aeon proceeded to reinforce it by threading it.
Taking the button he connected it to the necessary area to go through the small hole.
Aeon crossed his fingers hoping this design would work successfully allow him to make up somewhat for being stupid enough to lose his magic bag, He guessed at least it would be something to show off something that’s unique.
Because fashion is about looking unique in till everyone buys the same thing as you and your back as part of the crowd and then the new must have item is out, that’s right isn’t it.

Weapon Cord Research Two Level 1 Materials
Aeon thought back through his time in the real world, when he had been thinking about characters for Dungeons and Dragons and how he would build those characters to be the best possible in there ability’s.
He had spent time in researching disarming looking at things like locking gauntlets, of course he could never make these they were metal and he worked with leather and cloth.
He raked his mind hard thinking for methods he could use, it took him a few hours to remember back to a lizardfolk character he was designing called Nakai.
The idea was that the dual wielding beast would have these things called weapon cords attached to himself and his weapons, so if disarmed it would be a swift action to recover them.
Aeon looked through the materials he had.
There was a few higher level materials he did not want to use up at this time and some cheaper materials.
The cheap thread was going to be the best bet for this it would take a couple of reels but if he bound them together it should maybe allow quick recovery once if he was lucky.
Taking out two reels of thread, Aeon began twisting them carefully twining them together to about 3 foot in length, before cutting and knotting the end so it didn’t unravel on him.
Using the remainder of the reel he reinforced the thread cord with a second set of wrapping to help with improved strength so it didn’t just instant snap apart to any pressure.

Research Silk Lined Blankets, 4 level 1 materials, 2 fabric and 1 silk, 1 thread part 1
Aeon had begun to feel that the blankets could be improved in there quality, the soft blankets were excellent at keeping heat in but they weren’t the most comfortable thing in the world, they were rather rough around the edges and if tugged to hard would start to come apart at the stitching. Which would likely be a major occurrence if you rolled around in your sleep and it became caught at any point, but it would be better than nothing in the cold and in the wet.
Aeon began thinking over a way to improve the conformability of his blankets, he wanted to keep in their original ability for keeping in heat without reducing it, looking through his low quality material’s which the blankets were made from.
Aeon picked up some silk thumbing it in his hands, it was rather soft, softer than the silk but of course wasn’t the best quality in the world but of course it was cheap so you can’t expect the quality of royal’s from this stuff.
Aeon wondered how it would work would stitch it in as a layer after the blanket was complete or attach it to one side first then stitch through it as well when attaching the second section of the blanket.
These would have to be thought through carefully.

Silk Blanket part 2
Aeon took out his roll of silk and two rolls of fabric, cutting the silk to fit one layer of the fabric.
He first followed his standard method of rolling the sides of the fabric for stitching but as he went to sew through them, he sew through and then into the silk, pulling them tight then following through back through the silk and into the fabric, continuing this all the way round the under layer of the fabric. It held moderately well of course he had to restart the stitching occasionally due to the thread choosing to snap due to its poor quality but what were you going to do with something so cheap.
Taking the second piece he did the normal way he completed by the standard method and then sewed all 3 layers into each other to strength and bind them together to finish the silk blanket.
It was rather snug and should be nicer than the standard fabric blankets, maybe slightly warmer but at least it could be softer.

Bandage Research, 1 cheap fabric and 1 cheap thread (2 level 1 materials)
Aeon had been through a few scraps lately and was thinking of things he could do to deal with a few of the injuries, you sometimes ended up sustaining during the fights.
Thinking back to first aid kit’s he thought of bandages, looking at the fabric he had, it wasn’t the most hygienic looking thing in the world but if it was cut down and stitched into a few layers, it could help with supressing bleeding of course it would be useful to have a few other products to help clean the wound out but he couldn’t make any of that.
Aeon took out a roll of fabric and began cutting it down, before folding it to thicken it enough that the holes in the fabric wouldn’t just leak out the blood it was trying to prevent bleeding out.
Stitching through the folds to keep it together, so you wouldn’t have to prepare it every time.
Aeon thought this may prove useful one day but the quality of the material must be improved.
