Crafting lvl 10 armour set, Post 1, 4 level 10 materials
Aeon sat in a tavern, he had acquired himself a room for the night and was sat downstairs in the bar.
A rather standard cheap dinner, which was mostly porridge of some sort and a small cup of tea.
It wasn’t like they tasted of anything, other than bread and water but he guessed you had to use your imagination for eating something, he wished the food would have at least some taste to it because it was rather bland, but being a rather fussy eater in real life, Aeon didn’t really mind it was better than nothing and at least it didn’t taste like something he would detest having to eat every single day. But it was kind of in the memory the idea of drinking tea of course without the taste it was rather depressing but that was life.
Aeon managed to reach level 11 in his tailoring and with plans to adventure a recently discovered dungeon, he needed to acquire himself some new armour of course buying armour was expensive and what was the point when you could make armour yourself with your crafting skill.
Aeon set about drawing up designs for garments he preferred to have trousers and a shirt over just a solid robe as the robe could get caught or get in the way, were two pieces of fabric in the set was easier to move around with and stayed near the body and didn’t flow away.
Aeon planned to put his heart and mind to this and was prepared to spend a lot of money to get things right.

LvL 10 Armour, 2* Silk, 2*Thread, 4 lvl 10 materials
Aeon set about crafting himself his linen shirt first, taking out a roll of his finer silks.
Taking a small piece of chalk from one of his pouches and rolling it out on his table, Aeon began making outlines and marks on the fabric, outlining for size and flexibility marking off the chest piece as well as the arms.
He planned to sow the arm pieces on to the chest piece, if necessary he could just pull off the arms to allow greater flexibility in combat if that was necessary.
Using a small blade, Aeon carefully cut into the fabric trying to avoid damaging the table he was using to cut out the shapes for his dungeon explorer armour.
After this was complete, taking the arm pieces and a spindle of thread and a needle, Aeon began double stitching together the edges of the silk together, rolling back the extended cuffs and stitching the sides of it and cutting in spots for cufflinks like on a suit shirt.
Now taking his chest piece he began attaching its multiple cuts of silk as he worked it was like the engine itself helped guide his hand pulling the thread tighter into the material as he worked his way stitching it together.
With that complete, Aeon connected up the sleeves to the chest piece with stitches following a round the positions he had left for the arms and with the multiple fragment cuts near the shoulders that had been stitched on should allow for some flexibility in putting it on and taking it off.

Post 3, lvl 10 Armour final, before upgrade, 4 lvl 10 materials
With the chest piece finished up arms attached, Aeon began work on creating the leggings, these too would be made of silk, silk begin more flexible and freely moving more than would you would find with using leather.
Also Leather wouldn’t help him with his spell casting if following D&D was anything to go by the character could have a chance of miscasting if he was wearing anything more than light armour occasionally normally they would be just wearing standard clothes, he wondered if they may have done something to that effect in this game, it wasn’t worth taking the risk though to test this fact out at his level his health being so low he doubted his character would be able to handle itself without magic against too many enemies epically dungeon mobs which Aeon from his MMO experience knew always were somewhat stronger and better equipped than your standard mob.
Aeon began working on marking and cutting out his trousers, with and extra extended part at the waistline to allow him to add a draw cord due to the lack of elastic in the work meaning garments needed to be made to fit in most circumstances.
The draw cord involved weaving together segments of the thread to make a string that was much thicker than the thread had started out as.
The trousers he double stitched like he had done with his shirt, similarly the games engine seemed to assist him in his work maybe it was related to level of the class, or a sub program that stopped a player with lack of experience in a craft from being a complete failure.
With the trousers complete all, Aeon needed to do was make some “extra” upgrades.

Equipment Reforge/Upgrade, 3 lvl materials of items level (lvl 10) 2 thread, 1 fabric
Taking his newly crafted shirt, Aeon began marking with a piece of chalk his plans for padding his cloth armour, in hope it could help reduce some physical hits if he suffered them by absorbing force and slowing the momentum of the blow this game followed physics somewhat and damage caused by a blow in real life is caused more by the sudden stop and absorption of momentum.
An air bag works by slowing down the victim slowly allowing force to dissipate slowly over time causing less overall damage to the victim’s structure, of course with padded cloth any resistance to slashing or piercing would be less than blunt as they only have to cut or puncture through the armour, of course there momentum would be reduced but not as much as a blunt weapon.
A blunt weapon on the other hand doesn’t need to break through armour to cause damage rather crush it, that’s why it’s so effective against armour that is metal being solid and rigid blades roll off or deflect off rather than breaking through the plates, but a blunt weapon crushes the armour on its impact sight putting the pressure into a smaller area causing it to crumple and inflict massive damage of its victim.
With padded cloth the victim would still be hurt like hell but would hopefully gain some reduction due to the reduction of the moment of the blunt weapon, of course a spiked headed war mace would pierce through due to the spikes on its head but a pure blunt weapon should be slightly reduced by some padding.

Equipment Reinforce/Reforge, 3 lvl 10 materials, 1 fabric and 2 thread Post 2
Taking out two spindles of thread and a piece of fabric, Aeon began his work starting at the shoulders, he worked on padding and reinforcing them while avoiding attaching them to the arm pieces so he could still hopefully remove them if he had to in a fight or to avoid getting caught.
The idea was to layer to fabric slightly while leaving small air pockets to act as shock absorbers to do this, Aeon made off cuts of fabric like small rolled pillars the idea to keep the pieces segments, and thus forcing air inside it, of course it wasn’t a sealed chamber so air would have free flow but forcing a chamber in theory forces air into that space and as it’s a suspended chamber gravity can’t force all the air out thus making a cushion. If he had, had some feathers they would have come in handy but Aeon had yet been able to acquire some.
After these small shoulder-pads had been put in place, Aeon began work on protecting where his vital organs would be, doing the same as he did before forcing air to enter a chamber, so that it would be compressed on an impact.
Aeon’s aim was to keep flexibility and weight reduced but hoping to at least provide himself some more protection than basic silk would.

LIFE IS A TRICK and you only get one chance to learn it Ria was starving. Well, perhaps not literally, but she was certainly hungry enough that a meal was in order. Unfortunately, she didn’t exactly have a chef on hand. Instead she found herself glaring up at a tavern’s sign as if it had personally insulted her. It was too bad that her options were to either go in and find some bland, tasteless food, or to continue seeking out a chef who would then charge an arm and a leg for a teeny portion. A rumble from her stomach made the decision for her and Ria stepped forward and swung open the door the tavern. Stepping inside, she made a beeline for the counter and once she had a plate of what was advertised as meat in front of her, she glanced around for a spot to sit down. The tavern wasn’t exactly full, but Ria wasn’t exactly in the mood to eat alone. After a moment, her eyes landed on a dark haired young man who seemed hard at work stitching together a set of armor. A thought flashed through her mind; Ria had been meaning to find some better armor, especially because she was considering giving this whole dungeon shtick a shot. From what she understood about the game, entering a dungeon could be pretty dangerous and was not something to be undertaken lightly so it wasn’t something she should try with her starter gear. Besides, she was getting a bit sick of this chainmail she’d been lugging around for a while. All in all, it was certainly time to upgrade her wardrobe. Her mind made up, Ria strode over to the young man and plopped down in a seat across from him. Setting down her plate with a clatter, she grinned at the guy. “You’re a tailor, huh?” she asked rhetorically. “Think you might be able to give me a hand with something?”Ria’s stomach growled again, reminding her of her initial purpose. While she waited for her unsuspecting dinner companion to respond, she tucked in. Of course it was horrible, but at least it was food.

Aeon jolted back in his seat as a mysterious woman sat as his table, quickly whipping his new craft back as she sat down with food, Aeon didn’t fancy any crumbs on his new clothes as he thought with gravity for balance of the chair trying not to fall over backwards. By time Aeon had regained his composure, he looked up to see a rather beautiful young lady with dark ….black….. no blue hair, in a set of chainmail with two swords hanging from her side. She spoke out quickly before he could have a chance himself after she sat down at his table, enquiring about his profession. Aeon responded slightly hesitantly, “um… yes I’m a tailor, um….it depends on what you’re after really if it’s after any crafts I can only work with leather and cloth” he wondered if he came across shy or it was just his inability to speak to the opposite sex very well. LIFE IS A TRICK and you only get one chance to learn it Ria suppressed the urge to chuckle as she watched the guy jerk backwards in his seat. Clearly he hadn’t seen her coming and hadn’t been expecting anyone to join him either. Or perhaps he was the sort that really became caught up in whatever project he was working on. “Yep, leather and cloth will probably work out just fine,” she said, smiling in a manner that she hoped he found disarming. The fellow certainly seemed a bit awkward, though that might be because she’d surprised him. Regardless, Ria didn’t really give the guy much time to recover before she barreled on like a freight train. “I’m looking for someone who might be able to make me a new set of armor; something that’s lighter than this chainmail I’ve been hauling around since I got here.”Tucking a stray lock of hair behind her ear, Ria continued, “So I was thinking maybe something crafted out of leather?” She still couldn’t quite grasp the concept that leather armor could somehow provide more protection than chainmail if it was a higher level. Still, considering all the weird rules that this world had tacked onto it, it wasn’t that strange. Now that she was becoming more accustomed to these rules, Ria was quickly attempting to adapt her behavior to fit them. Although she wasn’t always successful, she had to admit that she was beginning to understand how to be more effective in this reality. She paused to shove another oversized bite into her mouth. Once she finished chewing, Ria added, “You look like you know what you’re doing when it comes to this tailoring business. Do you think that armor is something you might be able to help me with?” Word Count: 286 Notes: Tags:

Post 1 of Leather Armour level 10 design phase Aeon spoke to the young lady “I guess I can do that Leather armour would work well, swashbuckler, I guess that due to your two swords not many dual-wield unless they are a swashbuckler due to debuffs, so I guess flexibility would be number one to be able to get into the opening and weak spots of your enemy”Aeon packed away his craft into his satchel and took out a piece of paper and some chalk, before quickly scanning the woman in front of him as he began doing a rough outline of the idea he had in his head after about 10 minutes he finished the outline. Showing his quick drawing to the young lady, Aeon proceeded to explain his idea. “so basically as you see the idea would be for it just to be a breastplate, so it would cover your major organs if they count in this game, without shoulder pads it should mean you aren’t restricted to badly in the movement department and without leggings it should mean that it shouldn’t affect your agility to badly, of course id have to make a silk shirt to go under this” Aeon slowly forced out rather quietly “or….. There…. Could be some…..Chafing…. around certain….areas”Aeon continued by saying, “I could make some level 10 armour, it seems the best I’ve seen materials on the market, if you could acquire the materials which would be 2 spindles of thread, a Roll of Fabric and a Roll of Silk I could make you some armour with a small fee for the time” Aeon said awkwardly after that “due to the lack of elastic though I’m going to need some measurements”Word Count: 281

LIFE IS A TRICK and you only get one chance to learn it “Nailed it in one,” Ria said as the tailor analyzed why she cared about agility and flexibility. “But you can just call me Ria if you want, seeing as that’s my name. What do you want me to call you anyways?”She sat back as the guy began to sketch out an idea, pleased that this was working out so well. Besides, now that the young man was busy drawing, she had an excuse not to talk so she could instead focus on her meal. Of course, after a few more bites she wished that there was something else that would distract her; the blandness of the food was soon overpowering. Despite this, Ria made sure to finish every crumb. She’d paid for the meal after all and if she left some on her plate then she was certain that she would become hungry again before long. Soon after she set her now empty plate aside, the tailor finished up his sketch. Ria leaned over to take a look and she nodded after a moment. The design was simple, but Ria figured that she wasn’t going to be able to get anything fancy at this stage. Besides, it looked reasonably effective, which was really the point in the first place. “Looks good to me,” she said, ignoring the guy’s awkwardness when he spoke of chafing. She did look at him a bit more closely when he mentioned taking measurements, but after a moment she decided that his intentions were likely solely professional. Ria doubted that he’d seem so awkward otherwise and if he did try anything, well she was reasonably certain that she’d be able to pummel him. “I’ll go nab those materials then,” she added, standing up. Ria quickly returned her plate to the counter and rushed out the door. The materials the tailor had mentioned weren’t very hard to come by, so she was back after a couple of minutes. “Here you are; two spindles of thread, roll of fabric, and a roll of silk,” she said, plopping her purchases down on the table. “This is it, right? Now, I forgot to ask before, but how much are you wanting for this little project?” Even if she’d already bought the materials, Ria figured that it would be best to check the price with the guy before he really got started, just so she could be sure that she could afford it. The economy was a bit weird in this game, so sometimes items she thought should be cheap were expensive and vice versa. Word Count: 425 Notes: Tags:

Aeon had only had to wait a few minutes for the young lady to have returned with materials, blimey she was quick, either she was a good quick haggler or had just bought the materials at asking price, but she had managed to gather what he had asked for so she must have been quite smart to locate everything so quickly.
Aeon thought about an overall price in his head, the cost of level 5 gear was 200 gold, the material cost of level 10 gear cost 200 gold, if you put an equipment enchant on that it would cost 350 gold in materials and 50 gold wage is quite good to make contacts as its quite low.
Aeon finally came to a decision on how much he would charge the young lady for his work.
“I would say about 200 gold and I’ll do an equipment reinforce on top of that as well, they provide a random enchantment to the items when they are worked into the item after they have been made, or 25 gold if you don’t want an enchant into your item, the base price of a standard level 5 garment is 200 gold from the People of the Land and this will be an enchanted level 10 armour piece, If that sounds ok to you I’m happy to haggle around the price if you wish to”
Aeon continued on “If you happy with that ill arrange a room here, so the measurements can be taken in privacy, O and you can call me Aeon, Ria”

LIFE IS A TRICK and you only get one chance to learn it “That sounds good to me,” Ria said with a shrug. “I’ll go enchanted too, that seems worth it.” The price that was being asked seemed like it was fair compared to what she would have to pay the People of the Land for a weaker product. An enchantment also would probably prove to be worth the money too. “Nice to meet you, Aeon,” she said once he’d told her his name. It seemed easy enough to remember. “Now lead on. There’s no point in procrastinating, let’s go get this thing done.”Before long, Ria found herself standing in a small side room, the sort that could be rented out for the night at a relatively low cost. “Y’know,” she commented, “If you want to just give me whatever you’re going to use for the measuring, I can just do this myself.” Of course, had this been back home, this whole thing would have been rather unnecessary. Ria knew what clothing size she was back home, but here she had no clue. Of course, most of the measurements would probably be the same, but although she had become accustomed to the differences in her physique, she was ignorant as to what would fit when it came to clothing. That was a bit embarrassing, but not exactly unexpected. After all, Ria had been the same size since she’d been in secondary school, and now she was somewhat taller and she wasn’t certain the extent of the other changes. While her height was the only obvious shift she needed to care about under these circumstances, Ria wasn’t sure if other aspects such as the length of her arms or the width of her shoulders were different or not. Well, it seemed as though now was the perfect time to find out. “Really, this shouldn’t be too hard for me to handle on my own.” Then, in order to be certain that Aeon knew she wasn’t insulting him, Ria tossed in a joke. “In fact, I considered being a tailor, but then I figured I wasn’t suited for it.” Perhaps it was perfectly horrible, but she grinned anyways. RiaAeon answered Ria questions “ahh a swash tailor sounds pretty interesting maybe dual wield needles and do two projects at once? And sure let me explain what im going to need you to do”
Aeon began to explain to Ria how the crafting process would work after the measurements. Aeon held in his hand multiple long strings as well as the room key. “Basically, what I’m going to need you to do is use these threads and mark them say by cutting them for example, this gives me the measurements I need to make you a silk shirt to go under the armour, after you put that on I can then I’m thinking of if you will allow me to make the Leather Armour on you while you stand there or at least the frame, so I can build on top of it”
Aeon slow coughed out the reasoning behind this idea, “that should allow me to make it as comfortable as possible, especially around….um the upper chest region, i assume that is probley the most likely upper body region that could suffer chafe ?”
Continuing “if your happy to proceed to measure yourself, I’ll need the standard measurements, waist, arms and the rest to allow me to get the upper body proportions”

LIFE IS A TRICK and you only get one chance to learn it “Dual wielding needles might be interesting, but that sort of thing might be dangerous. I’d probably end up sticking myself all the time,” Ria said with a grin, ignoring the fact that dual wielding swords was probably much more dangerous. She listened to Aeon’s description of what he was planning and to his instructions before accepting the cords from him and waving him from the room. “I’ve got this, should only take a second,” she said with a shrug as she shut the door. Taking the measurements was an easy enough process, though Ria was stumped for a moment when she realized that she needed something to cut the thread with. However, it didn’t take her long to recall that she had two long pointy objects strapped to her waist and while using a sword for such a small task was a bit unwieldy, it could be done. After a few short minutes, Ria had finished taking the measurements. “There you go then,” she said, calling the young man back in and passing him the cut strings. “That’s about all you need from me right now, yeah?”Well, except for payment maybe, but that could come later. Ria sat down in one of the simple chairs that the room was supplied with, figuring that she really had nothing to do for now except perhaps to watch Aeon make the shirt and the armor. It would probably be an interesting process to watch, at least for a little while. Of course, if Ria got bored then she could just go grab a second dinner. Word Count: 263 Notes: Tags:

Post 2 crafting lvl 10 armourAeon had been relieved that the young lady had chosen to take her own measurements as he had been feeling it would be awkward for him to have been doing them, it hadn’t taken her long before she returned maybe she already knew what sizes she was or something along those lines. After the young lady had come back with her measurements Aeon said “yes thank you” to the young lady as he entered to begin his work as she had sat herself down on a chair in the vicinity. Aeon began by rolling a roll of silk across the bed located in it, it was the easiest large surface to use being a rather firm and solid mattress. Taking out a small piece of white chalk from a pouch he began working on drawing out the silk shirt, it was easier at this point to use a string to tighten up clothing thus allowing for it to be slightly adjusted in tightness around the chest by the wearer, and by using two string threading sections it would hopefully allow for as more cover as wanted by the wearer the second thread section of course would have to be stitched on afterwards. After the main silk shirt section had been designed, Aeon began work on the arms following the measurements he had been given, all the arms he had done so far where separate two piece sections that attached to the shoulder sections after the shirt had, had its sections connected. Aeon had become distracted as he worked, seemingly neglecting the presence of the person also in the room as he worked with his threads and needles and a small blade as he began bringing each section together in the crafting of the shirt which would go under the main leather chest piece. It had taken him a while about an hour and a half to finish the shirt, but then it would have taken much longer in the real world he was sure. Hanging it over the back of the chair he had pulled up during his crafting session he kept himself facing away. Hoping he wasn’t about to embarrass himself if she had left during the time he had been working he said “would you mind changing into that so you can test it out and if its perfect ill begin work on your main chestpiece”
