[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]SHIRANUI [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Shirayuki Akabara [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 20 [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Heterosexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: Hagoromo Gitsune, Nurarihyon no Mago: Sennen Makyou [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: Shira [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"] Shirayuki is a 5'8" feminine boy trapped in a girl's body (even though he was already quite womanly before his inebriated escapade). Due to a certain blonde individual who shan't be named, Shirayuki donned the form of a long-haired brunette of voluptuous proportions. Though he/she maintains his/her fragile porcelain attributes and particularly elegant fashion sense, Shira would prefer if they protected his new-ahem "features." The graceful silver fox has yet to adapt to her new body's quirks and perks. Due to a shattered pride and sense of masculinity, she worries that she may never return to her former self. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]Shira is the type of person who's kind and caring, but naive at times. Other than that, he is confident, gentlemanly and witty. That being said, he isn't some stereotypical shounen that one would come across in anime or manga. While he does possess the attitude to seem like one, the fact that he looks more like a girl puts a damper on his mood whenever that particular subject is brought up too much. “Dampened” in a way that makes him irritable and slightly sarcastic in a passive-aggressive manner, although he would prefer to maintain tact for as much as possible. However, all of that “confident, gentlemanly and tactful” nonsense fly out the window when he is put on the spot or is nervous. Shira shrinks into a shy, stuttering little girl who wouldn’t be able to finish an entire sentence. When the moment arises, Shira’s attitude would dissolve slowly into an embarrassing state. At extreme and rare cases, he blushes brighter than a red star and faints. Fortunately, circumstances that push him towards this attitude are already hard to come by. In-game, he chose to avoid all the stressful and exhausting fighting. Apart from the fact that it was dangerous, it wasn't in his nature to fight. It was different when Elder Tale was just a game, but now that he was living it, he lost the motivation to kill anything, knowing that he would be doing it with his own two hands. Even when killing monsters, he would feel a very miniscule but distinct pang of guilt. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] Born and raised in Japan, Shirayuki was more than an average stereotypical Asian. His loving father, a wealthy owner of a local tech company who had married an exemplary engineer, ironically preferred old-fashioned living. Not that Shira had any complaints. Apparently, the property that they owned was passed on from generation to generation; eventually to his father. The compound wasn’t purely old school, thankfully, and they didn’t have to spend so much money on fancy house gadgets. While all in all the place looked like it came from the time when samurai reigned, it was still a home for the Akabara family. Ever since Shira was a toddler, he had been to taught to keep things simple, if it can be helped. He dressed in simple clothes, he goes to an average school and outwardly looks average. At first glance, no one would think of him as rich, famous or anything like that so that when he made friends, he’d be sure they weren’t being friendly with him because of his money. On occasion, he and his family step out of their comfort zone to attend fancy parties they would be invited to. At first, Shira didn’t know how to behave amidst that kind of crowd. His mother, seeing her son’s discomfort, decided to teach him about fine etiquette. Eventually, he got the hang of it. Unfortunately, this brought about an unexpected side effect. Based on the boy's own experiences between two absolutely different atmospheres, he became a bit self conscious. Most of his non-upperclassmen friends scoff and laugh at the frilly things that wealthy people do. Coincidentally, some of his upperclassmen friends think the same way about them. This lead to Shira constantly trying to hide one side from another. This would have posed a major problem during school days. Luckily, Shira mostly hung out with his average friends and only got to see his rich friends during said parties. Although, there was always one place where they could meet without causing any problems: Elder Tale. In-game, they were a decent guild. Not too much quarreling, and everybody got along with everybody. Shira was the bridge between two different mindsets so it came as no surprise that he was the Guild Leader. This "tradition" carried on for a really long time. The guild grew more and more as the players lived their different lives and met people both online and in real life. Sadly, that wasn't the case for Shira. When it was his time to go to college, he went and studied abroad. It was a both sad and happy journey. For a while, he wouldn't be able to play with his old friends and watch his guild grow. But then again, he was going off on an adventure overseas where he could meet lots of different people and gain new friends. It was entirely a huge coincidence that he had chosen to go study in London. It took him a while to settle and adapt to his new home at the university's dorms. After a few years of college life (making new friends, learning new things, gaining new experiences and whatnot), Shira caught an interesting tidbit of news: The Novasphere Pioneers expansion. It brought about his memories with his old friends in Japan and thought maybe he could experience it again, just for old times sake. Then the Catastrophe struck. Shira woke up in the center of Elder Tale's version of London with no recollection of what happened after he logged in. It didn't take him long to realize what had happened although the "how" and "why" were unknown as of yet. "Since we'll probably be stuck here for a while, might as well play the game," he said to himself. [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"]Ignore those antlers >.> - Born in Tokyo, Japan - Bilingual; speaks both English and Japanese, but with respective accents. - Studied Computer Engineering - Shira was once mistakenly led into the girls' side of a hotspring bath, where he blushed redder than "#ff0000" and almost fainted from sheer embarrassment. Not that the girls minded; Shira didn't look all that masculine anyway and the steam probably helped. - Whenever his tail/s or ears are touched, he gets a sort of tingly sensation which he often refers to as "that weird feeling." The feeling is so foreign that he doesn't even know if it is good or not. - Oblivious to "themed" topics |

Completely powerless in terms of physical attacks, but has the capability to shoot rays from the ruby core. Also has the ability to cut off barriers and heal the summoner or another target. Resembles a combination of a fox and rabit with a ruby on the forehead. [attr="class","skill"]Phantasmal Heal: Commands the summoned Follower to recover mana or health for a specific target. While in use an extremely bright shining star effect is initiated on the target. Can only be used with healing summons like Unicorn or Carbuncle. [attr="class","skill"]Elemental Bolt: Fires a single, strong projectile at a target. The projectile has the same properties of the summoned Follower using it. [attr="class","skill"]Summon Follower - Golem: Summons a large guardian composed of the surrounding material. If the material that the Summoner desires the Golem to be made out of is not around, they pay a higher price in mana to summon a golem of that type. Soil Golems are weaker in attack and health but are faster and regenerate quickly. Stone has decent attack, health, speed, and regeneration. Iron Golems are extremely strong in attack and health but lack speed and regenerative abilities. Based upon mastery the height of the golem goes from 1m, 2m, and finishes at 3m. [attr="class","skill"]Summon Follower - Sylph Fairy-type Wind elemental follower. Sylph is a small fairy-like creature that looks like a jolly girl. She is able to attack with a magical wind that knocks back enemies. She can summon a healing breeze that heals allies for a minor amount and removes a debuff. She is Friendly to her Summoner and Wary toward all enemies. This follower takes 2 seconds of cast time to summon. [attr="class","skill"]Castling: Tier I Summoner Skill Much as one would protect one's own king by switching its position with a nearby rook in a game of chess, Castling follows a similar convention. It is an emergency skill that instantly switches the places of a Follower and the Summoner. Castling cannot be used in combination with Soul Possession. This skill has a casting time of 1.5 seconds and a cooldown time of 10 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Heal: Tier I Adventurer Skill The most fundamental HP recovery magic of the healer classes and the root of all restorative skills. Although it grants HP restoration, it is known for its poor mana efficiency compared to other healing skills, barrier skills and reactive activation skills, thus putting this on low priority amongst healing skills. Beginners often look at healers based on how much HP this skill heals, causing some to be called second-rate or third-rate healers. That said, truly useless healers are out of the question, since most are at least competent in using restorative magic. When this skill is used, the caster is surrounded by a hazy warm light, and the chosen target is showered down with particles of light. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown time of 10 seconds. If used by a non-healer class, the cooldown doubles to 20 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Summon Follower - Harpy: Tier I Skill Summoner Skill Bird-type Wind elemental familiar. Summons a creature that has the features of a bird and woman. She attacks targets with cutting blast of wind and sharp talons. She can also stun enemies by emitting an ear splitting shriek. This stun lasts for 3 seconds. Harpy’s personality is Friendly toward its Summoner and Predatory toward all enemies. This follower takes 2 seconds of cast time to summon. [attr="class","skill"]Eye in the Sky: Tier I Summoner Skill The Summoner links their eyesight with that of a Bird-type Follower, causing one of the user's eyes to see everything happening right in front of them and the other eye to see what their Follower is seeing. Closing one of the eyes will block out the respective signals, allowing the Summoner to concentrate on one view at a time. This skill allows for the Summoner to fulfill a reconnaissance role, although the initial effect of having double vision will likely be extremely jarring on the user at first. This also effectively leaves the Summoner and the Follower with a blind spot on one side, so careful coordination should be taken so that an enemy doesn't take advantage of this condition. This skill has a casting time of 5 seconds, a duration of up to 5 minutes, and a cooldown of 10 minutes. [attr="class","skill"]Mythic Script: Tier I Adventurer Skill A toggle skill that uses a negligible amount of mana when it is activated. A skill that allows characters to write messages using pure mana. This message normally lasts for roughly a day if written on a surface or a minute if written in the air, before dissipating into the atmosphere. However, if the message is not exposed to the elements, such as within the bindings of a book, it is possible to preserve a message for months or even years. Taking this skill allows one to see these messages as well, for they are normally invisible to the untrained eye. It has been hypothesized that Ancient Age grimoires are composed from prayers and incantations written in mana onto paper that has been specifically designed to preserve its presence. Keep in mind that although this skill allows one to read writings in mana, it does not help with comprehension. [attr="class","skill"]Pacifying Dance: A skill that allows the dancer to perform beautiful dances to momentarily captivate those who see it. It might cause hostile monsters and People of the Land to stop fighting the dancer and their party for a few moments. [attr="class","skill"]Needlework: Due to the dexterity from which they perform their tasks, tailors are able to make up for any compromises in their ability. Any dexterity debuffs to a tailor can be recovered from twice as quickly. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Armor: Starter Cloth Armor: A basic set of cloth armor made from cheap fabric. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. [attr="class","skill"]Left Hand: Apprentice Grimoire: An apprentice’s book of spells designed for novice mages, made out of cheap materials. Doesn’t particularly have too many pages, but it is better than nothing. If used by a magic class, you get the ability to shoot a basic magic attack with a range of 2 meters. [attr="class","skill"]Right Hand: empty [attr="class","skill"]Accessory#1: Leave blank [attr="class","skill"]Accessory#2: Leave blank [attr="class","skill"]Accessory#3: Leave blank [attr="class","skill"]Accessory#4: Leave blank [attr="class","h3"]Inventory (DO NOT EDIT THIS SECTION) [attr="class","b2"]Sarum Map 1 - A torn piece of an old map. It seems to emit a weak magnetic energy due to the presence of mana within the cloth, magnetizing itself to other map fragments. Maybe if you combine these fragments together, something might happen? Starter Whip: A starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap leather. It is well-balanced and easy to use but doesn’t hit particularly hard at all. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can. Sun in a Bottle - Level 30 accessory. A warm ball of light in a bottle. When this item is summoned, it causes a Magic Light to appear beside the user for up to 30 seconds. Desummoning this item cancels the Magic Light but does not reset the duration. This item's duration refills itself by 5 seconds every post cycle. Dino Life Preserver - Level 20 item. A blow-up life preserver of a yellow dinosaur that can be fitted around the stomach. It keeps those not-so-strong swimmers from drifting away in the current. |
