It was early in the morning and the sun was slowly raising up from it's slumber, it's faint rays of light gradually spread through out the city of London as the sun rose, reclaiming the it's place in the city from the darkness of the previous night. In the town square, people both Landers and Adventures alike were setting up shop just as the normally did every morning. And in the center of the square was Sophia with a basket waved out of straw wood held under her arm. What was she doing out this early at the town square this morning? To gather some food and cooking supplies of course. You see, they had some of the best indigent items out here this early in the morning, and as a cook she knew she had to get them before anyone else, or else they'll be sold out.
The blonde-haired woman looked around at the shopkeeper preparing their wares, she noticed that there were what seemed to be only a handful of other people waiting around for buy what this shopkeepers are selling. It was easy for her to tell which of them were the sellers and whom were the buyers. The people who were hoping to buy some items usually had this predatory air around them, and eyes that are always moving place to place, trying to find the best deal for they can get their hands onto. Though she doesn't like to admit it, she too had those traits when shopping around, sometimes without even knowing it. Even with this small number of buyers out there, this could turn into a battlefield. While the shopkeepers continued to set up their shops, Sophia sat down on the stone steps that lead into the square and waited there with a smile on her face, as she looked at the food items being brought out.

Ame stretched and yawned as she normally did upon waking and looked out of her window. She had anticipated waking up early, like she did, to go collect goods in the market square for some things that she wanted to bake. She had recently put in a request for personal housing and had requested a cafe to be put in it so that she could open a shop of her own, but she needed to purchase the ingredients that she would need for baking, so that once it was approved and set up, she could bake the goods in her brand new deluxe kitchen and sell them for a decent price. She had requested a library cafe so that she could make it something like the one she worked at back home. She had worked at an internet cafe and loved her job. She wasn't much of a coffee drinker, but the area was calming and relaxed and brought in many different people such as, business men and women, students and many others who just wished to learn and relax in peace. The library would act as a good bring in for scholars, and scribes alike and her food was already delicious enough that that would attract adventurers and Landers on it's own. The thought made her wonder if her lonely assassin would start going there instead, though she didn't know if he would want to switch his outting spot. Either way, she wanted to do something special for all of the people in Londinium, and opening a cafe was her way of getting her food out there.
She let out another yawn and equipped her armor, looking down at her sleeping animals. She thought that maybe she should bring them, but as they slept peacefully she decided against it and snuck out of the room quietly as to not wake them. She headed to the market square, where many adventurers and Landers alike were setting up their shops. She smiled widely and began to think of things that she should make for her new cafe. She found her way to a pair of stone steps which were being occupied by another adventurer by the name of Sophia. She smiled at the stout woman. "Hi there. Are you waiting for the shops to open as well?" She took a seat beside the woman and waited for her to answer. Ame was by no means shy here, and especially being safe in the walls of Londinium, she felt at ease talking to strangers on the street. She kept her smile planted on her face and then looked back to the street, watching as the shop keepers carried out various items from the insides of what she assumed was their houses.

While she sat on the large cobblestone steps leading into the square, daydreaming inside her head of the possible dishes she could make as her wondering eyes turned from one ingredient item to the next, Sophia heard a feminine voice coming from her side. It was a greeting that sounded like it was directed to her. Without thinking twice, she turned her head over to her voice's owner. Sitting right next to her was a young girl and blonde hair and blue eyes such as herself, but that's when the similarities ended. Atop of her head she had feline-like ears and was dressed in an outfit of eastern origin, which she could easily tell by looking, despite her severely limited knowledge of eastern culture.
"Yes I am. They usually sell the best cooking ingredients this early in the morning." Sophia said to the girl, giving her warm smile. She felt glad that she had some company this morning, otherwise this would have been a bit of a boring trip going about it alone. "Let me guess, you're here for the same reason too, aren't you?" she said, with both playfully tone in her voice and a knowing smile. Well, it would be more of a bluffing smile, since she didn't check the girl's character info to see if she had a chef subclass, but Sophia personally thought it was a bit rude to go through other people's character info without their permission. And also it was more fun playing guessing games without cheating.

Ame looked down at the blonde, blue eyed woman and beamed her a smile and a nod as she spoke and asked if she was there for the same reason. It was the best time of day for shopping and she normally started her day off as such. Grocery shopping in the morning was the best as everything that the merchants had to offer was always there. She remembered going later in the day, being late because of a quest she had wanted to do and had missed out on a lot of the things she normally liked to buy, like exotic fruits and different kinds of vegetables. She had a plan to buy the things she would need to bake a bunch of things for her shop, well, the most of them anyways. She hoped it wasn't going to end up being a grocery shopping battle between herself and Sophia, so she tilted her head and asked, "are you looking to make something specific?"
She wondered if Sophia was a good cook back in the real world and she found her head tilting as she looked at her, waiting for her response. She didn't know why, but she felt as though she wanted to bombard the woman with questions, like a curious child to her mother. She couldn't really be that old could she? And to think of her as a mother already would mean that she was giving off some seriously motherly vibes, though, could the woman actually have children in the real world? If so, what was happening to them? Ame mentally shook her head and stopped her thoughts from moving forward. She didn't know anything about her and she wasn't that intuitive to know a persons life just because they gave off a motherly vibe, and how could you even feel that vibe after literally just meeting someone? Ame didn't know, what she knew was that it was happening.

"Well.." Sophie began, "I plan on making a double layered chocolate cake, with butter pecans and sugar coated strawberries." she said to the young girl beside her, with enthusiasm tingling in her voice. Which was normal, since Sophie always tended to be enthusiastic about foods and cooking. She found it fun to create her own dishes, and she loved to taste her own creations. There was something satisfying about working on a dish, and eating it. But what was even more satisfying to her, was sharing her creations with others. Back when she was in the real world, she would not only cook for her family, but she would always invite her students at the end of the college semester and have a little party, with food that she made herself from scratch. Caramelized apple slices with a hint of spiced cinnamon as a snack. Some buttery pound cake. And finally, some roasted beef. Now that she was in this world, which strangely resembled the one from Elder Tales, she works as a live-in chef for the Trusty Belle Inn. She liked her job, as well the people who've given it to her, the owners, Mr. and Mrs Hansbrough, a lovely, elderly couple with a lot of pep despite their old age. Sophie wanted to repay all they've done for her. And she thought to make a them a cake, which was her reason for being here at the square this early. She wanted to make sure this cake had the freshest indigents inside of it. "So.." Sophie said, smiling at the young blonde girl, "Now that I've told you my dish, what kind of dish are you planning on making, dear?" she said, smirking as she awaited for the girl's answer. If she was a chef like she expected, Sophie wondered just what kind of chef she was. Did she specialized in desserts such as herself did? And she had also wondered how experienced was she was at cooking. If she wasn't all that much experienced than herself, Sophie could teach her some things. And if she was, Sophie wouldn't mind learning from her. Whether way, she was looking forward to her answer.

Shopping, then perhaps Lunch? Ame's eyes widened as she licked her lips and swallowed the drool about to protrude from her mouth. She pictured the layered cake and swore she could taste the sweet, succulent slice that she wanted so desperately to try now that the words had come out of the other chef's mouth. She had tried chocolate cake and chocolate cake with strawberries, and even pecan chocolate cake, but to add both of them together, she knew it would be delicious! The cake made her think of other treats she could add together to create something magnificent. Suddenly, she was feeling rather creative and her mind raced with possibilities. "Wow Sophia! That sounds delicious!" She wondered if the other chef would let her use her recipe to make it for her own customers. She pondered for a moment about asking, but instead she said, "I'd love to try a slice, if you'd allow me to!" She wouldn't ask just yet, only because the pair had just met so she wanted to become more friendly and if Sophia turned her down, she wouldn't mind either. She had never been one to let something like that ruin a friendship. Sure, the layered cake would make a wonderful addition to her cafe, but she wouldn't press the woman for her recipe and she wasn't the type to steal it either. If she said no, she would leave it at that and try to produce a few cakes of her own.
At the mention of what Ame was there to make, she tilted her head. "Well, I plan on making a bunch of different things. I run a small cafe out of my home so I like to stock up on the ingredients I need. Today I'll be making chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, various kinds of cookies and other treats and maybe a little snack for myself too, though I haven't quite decided what I want to make for my lunch just yet. Do you have any suggestions maybe?" She smiled at the woman, but before she could speak, Ame jumped back in and spoke again. "Perhaps after shopping, I could treat you to lunch too? Maybe we could talk food while we eat!" She wondered if the other would accept her invitation. She loved talking to other chefs, sharing tricks and giving tips, offering each other advice and helping one another. She loved the chef industry, especially in Elder Tale. Every thing was so cheap, and most of the time they could go out and find their own ingredients rather than purchasing them. She had her own garden even in her back yard, though it was poorly put together, even though she knew how to garden. Without the gardening skill, it was harder to put together a good garden, but she did fine and her vegetables grew as they normally would. Perhaps Sophia knew how to make it better, though if she accepted her invitation to shop and then have lunch, then perhaps she could ask her during their meal, and if not, that would be fine as well.
