It was a horrible thing, Cy thought, that he still hadn't did anything since... Well... That day. He sighed softly, as he walked along the coastline to the River Thames, silently damning his laziness, his luck... His lack of drive. Others had adjusted well to their situation, and many were out levelling and having fun... Cy's stats were still so basic, the only difference was he had materials he didn't feel like working on in his pocket. Was he really this pathetic? He looked like a massive giant of a man, covered in scars and threatoning to many... But he was weaker than even most of the child players. He was a joke, and he knew it... But that wasn't what was really bugging him right now. Right now, it was his eyelids slowly trying to close on him.
He was tired. EXTREMELY tired, at that note. He hadn't money to stay anywhere, and he couldn't sleep out in the open. It bugged his senses to hear people moving around and the like. It had been almost a full week since his last full rest, and that was interrupted by some wild mobs. He found him a perch by the riverside, sitting down as he watched the water move... Maybe it was time to branch out and look for people to party with... Maybe it was time to join a guild or something... Maybe... Maybe... Zzz... zzz.... In a heartbeat, the sound of the moving waters helped the sleepless giant into a soft slumber. Looking very cliche for his class and look, a slumbering monk beside the waterbed.

| It was a wonderful thing, Lavinia thought as she walked along the beach. She was close enough that the cool waves lapped over her feet and to make things even better she was wearing her new swim suit. She asked her friend kittygrey if she wanted to come join her for, whatever, Lavinia really didn't know, maybe to just hang out at the beach for a day. She wondered if Kitty would show, probably, Kitty was never one to pass on a chance to spend time with her, which she was thankful for. As Lavina strolled she felt the sun against her skin start to become uncomfortably warm so she decide its time for a short dip. Placing her bag down on the beach out of the reach of the waves Lavinia walks down to the water. After shes in about waist high water Lavinia dives straight into the oncoming wave and pops back out of the water at about chest high depth. Lavinia had never been to the beach in the real world, but this world was the real world a nd if you didn't learn quickly in this world, you die. Pushing her hair back out of her face, Lavinia turns and heads back toward the beach. "Much better" she thought as she picked up her bag and slung it back over her shoulder and continued walking. Lavinia walked a bit further and was finally at the meeting place, where she planned to meet Kitty. The place was actually the river that runs under her house, this is where that very river emptied into the ocean. This is where Lavinia would wait for her friend to show, as she waited she would lay on the beach and enjoy the sun, maybe it would improve her tan. |

Ame hadn't quite decided what she would do for the day. She had woken up early in her new home, had made herself breakfast and took her young rabbit and kitsune spirit outside to play a bit, but now, she was bored. She had been laying on the floor of her new house, trying to figure out something to do, why she wasn't laying on the couch, you may ask? Who knows?! We are talking about Kitty here! Anyways! She had been laying on the floor, arms and legs spread in a star fish shape, when she heard a ring from her messaging system. It was from Lavinia, her sweet, little friend who she had recently, in mind or not, adopted as her little sister, to the point where she had even called her Nee-san! She sat up and looked at the message, then her current location. "A day at the beach, huh? It's been a while, and I have nothing else to do... Why not?!" She quickly jumped up, an excited look on her face. She called out to her two animals, but neither of them came. She tilted her head and headed into her bedroom, seeing the two sleeping in a snugly pose. She smirked at them and shrugged as she closed the door and left her home.
When she got to the Thames Coastline, a place she had visited once before, she looked around. It had been a while since she had seen the person who had showed her this place, but since that time, she had grown and something had changed in her, but that is a different story for a different time. She opened her inventory and equipped the new bathing suit she had bought when her and Lavinia had gone shopping together. This would be her first time wearing it and she was overly excited. She hoped the beach wouldn't be too packed because she really didn't want to have to deal with a crowd, but she would if she absolutely had too. She breathed in deeply as she walked along, finally coming up to the spot where she had been told to meet the young Enchantress. As she saw her, Ame picked up her pace and called out to her with a wide smile. "Lavi! I'm here!!!" Her voice was animated as she called out, running to the young girl, her 'endowments' flopping as she went along. "I hope you weren't waiting long!" She spoke more quietly this time as she stood in front of the girl.

As Cy slept, unaware of the nearby visitors, he dreamt of better times. He could still vaguely remember his human life... As boring as that was. He could remember staring outside the window and watching the snowfall, sitting down and knitting together plushies while talking to his distant friends over skype. He remembered the hype of watching anime with those friends, of when he and his gamer buddies finally cleared Level 5 doom bots... His friends... He wondered if they were ok... He hadn't seen them since they joined the game... The dream slowly shifted into a nightmare, Cy living through the experience of what if his friends found him... They must be high level by now... He was still a child compared to everyone... He stirred a little in his sleep, gritting his teeth just a little as he slept through what felt to be hours of internal torment lived through his subconscious. His friends... With their legendary items and their stupid maxed gear and their worthless end game builds... They could probably clear dungeons with ease and PVP without breaking a sweat... But he... He could barely fight a boar without feeling useless... Without feeling like his punches were nothing more than a sad attempt to look tough. Maybe he should invest in some of those items that alter your character... Maybe then he'd look and act more like what he really was... A weak supporting character, not the strong manly tank he had expected to be when he made the character...

Do you believe in ghosts? The keen eyes of a shady figure standing on top of a slight cliff-overhang began to narrow as the sheer heat and solar exposure started setting in. This place was a lot different than the chilled caves, the cool meadows, or the breezy mountains. The player had just arrived, and he was already uncomfortable. After walking for almost three hours from the nearest city in search of a new group of Monsters to grind on for a little while, the player was already quite warm. Now that the sun was staring down at him, he could truly feel the brunt of how unkind Mother Nature could be some times. This was the beach, and it was really freaking hot here, especially for someone who had three layers of gear on; his tight body wear, medium-baggy wear, and his externals. Due to how the player operated, he carried everyone directly on his person, which eliminated the need to access his menu during combat for various weapons. Now, it was a crutch.
With beads of sweat already forming on Saber’s forehead after just three minutes of standing in one spot, he immediately pulled open his menu and elected to make himself a little more comfortable. There weren’t any players extremely close to him, so he didn’t feel too vulnerable as he began to strip down a few notches, using the icons on his menu to do so. Though, even if there were other people, it wouldn’t be too much of an issue. With his Assassin class maxing out, there wasn’t a soul in the game who could make him quiver anymore. Now that was a completely opposite story for monsters, but the target he was after was in the ocean and that predator was a different beast in its own right. With that in mind, Saber kept his set of daggers on his lower back but deposited his heavier swords, and his throwing knives. Armor wise, Saber removed his cloak, the baggy shirt he wore, his baggy pants, and switched his long pants for a pair of black swim trunks that he had purchased from a traveling merchant. They weren’t fancy and didn’t even have any pockets, but they would do a better job than just pants. Saber also kept his scarf around his neck and kept the tight shirt he wore on. He wanted to be comfortable, but didn’t exactly plan to expose himself to his prey. Lastly, Saber removed his boots, leaving his feet exposed to the elements for the time being.
Once he was content with his beach gear, and the cool breeze whisked away the inferno-like feeling the Assassin was feeling, the man released a heavy sigh. Then, he looked out towards the ocean and grimaced. Out there somewhere was the monster he was tracking, and there was a lot of ground to cover. But first, he figured he would enjoy himself a little. In the real world, Saber had never actually visited a beach with his family because of where they lived, so this was one of the rare times he had the chance to experience the warm, sandy zone. He had been here before, with his eyes set on hunting sharks, but at that time he simply ran off the same outcropping his stood on and dove into the sea. Today, he would try to at least take in a few sights before dashing off and vanishing beneath the ocean for a while.
Though before he simply dashed off and wandered around, the Assassin looked around and used his height advantage to scout the area around him for something to do. For the most part, the beach was pretty empty when it came to players, but over to his left he could see a few figures in the distance… and one of them caught his eye. From where he was, he couldn’t see her face or get an extremely good look at who she was; but there was a blonde, and she looked very attractive. She seemed to have a friend, however, and Saber grimaced at the thought of potentially interrupting their fun day simply because of his interesting glance. However, if Saber elected to go in the opposite direction than them, he was going to run into even more people. Weighing his options; Saber elected to take the awkward bypass rather than deal with being spotted by a herd.
Once the directions were set into his mental-GPS system, Saber hopped off the side of the cliff. Using the rocky outcroppings and a few uneven surfaces, the man quickly navigated his way down to the beach, planting his feet firmly down on the hot sand as he touched down. The hot grains burned for a moment, but his feet quickly warmed to the correct temperature setting and he began to walk comfortably across the golden-yellow pavement. Due to the landing, his daggers had become undone so he was forced to adjust them a little, but it was only a minor correction. He made his presence as small as possible, but black stood out like a sore-thumb on the terrain he was walking on, and as he approached the two women; he immediately regretted it. The blonde woman was Kittygrey, a woman he had internally denoted as a stalker but as someone who probably wasn’t going to disappear no matter what he attempted to do, pretty much forcing him to give up and deal with her presence whenever she appeared. Yet, he wouldn’t go as far as to say he hated her; she simply made him feel uncomfortable.
“Oh this is going to be great…” Saber thought to himself, a small sigh escaping his lips as he walked towards the two women. Rather than try to avoid them, the man simply walked up to them and stopped a few paces off. His eyes instantly fell on Kitty, and he found himself staring at her for a few seconds as his mind burned the beautiful image into his skull. Then, he looked over at her friend. As he did so, the public information she had set, or not protected, came available; Lavinia was here name. The sound rang a bell, and he nudged his nose against his scarf as he tried to fit face to name to avatar… It didn’t work, so he pushed it aside for the moment.
“I feel like I shouldn’t be surprised to see you here, Kitty, but I am. I'm starting to think you have a radar that tracks me…” Saber said, announcing himself to the two ladies even though he had probably already been seen.
“Pardon my intrusion…” The Assassin bowed his head politely and then stood back upright, turning his eyes from Kitty to the one named Lavinia.
“I am unsure if we have met before, but I recognize your avatar as well as your name. I am Saber, and I was simply passing by when I recognized Kitty.” As Saber spoke, he turned his head away from the ladies and looked up the beach towards where he was heading. He grimaced a little beneath his scarf but then looked back towards the girls; there wasn’t any sign of his target.
“I do not wish to be rude, but may I accompany you two for the time being? You won’t even know I’m there. Promise.” Saber chuckled beneath his scarf and stood by, awaiting an answer. However, he kept his current mission on the back of his mind. He wanted to have some fun in the sun, but he also would need to remain prepared to split off at any moment.

Laying under the warn sun, the ocean wind blowing, the smell of the sea it was all wonderful, so wonderful that Lavinia was inches away from falling asleep when she heard someone call her name. A familiar voice is all her groggy mind could process, a girl and by the time she mentioned to sit up the girl was standing right in front of her. "Oh, hi Nee-san." she says sleepily and rather cutely, pushing herself up from the sand and looking at Kitty, Lavinia wonders just how long she has been here. "You got here quick." she comments now awake, more or less still unsure if she didn't actually get here quick or not.
Lavinia thought Kitty would have brought her two pet companions with her and looked around for them but found nothing. "You didn't bring Mamori and Spot... " she says cutting herself off when he notices someone walking to them. It could only be one person, only one person in all of The Unfounded Kingdom would wear a scarf to the beach, it was Saber. The mysterious assassin, whom she met some time ago in Londinium, the group they were with was supposed to go to lunch but Lavinia had to take a rain check. Here he was, he directed his attention first to Kitty and comments on how they always meet up and then at her. It had been awhile since Lavinia saw Saber, back when she was a low level Summoner and still had black hair, instead of the red she has now.
Lavinia smiled at Saber, for whatever reason that aura of mistrust and danger he have off before was gone, Lavinia wondered why. "Oh, we've met... You still owe me lunch." she replies laughing. "Remember? You, me, Klide and that... Odd werecat..." she says starting off in her normal tone of voice then tapers off into one that is filled with discomfort, don't ask.
When Saber asked if he could join the girls Lavinia frowned a bit on the inside. She hoped it would have just been the both of them, her time with Kitty was rather precious, even more so lately with how busy she's been. But, not one to reject a friend or rather a assumed friend of Kitty's, but she has an idea. Lavinia smiles at Saber "Sure you can, if you provide lunch." she wondered if this would scare him off, he catch, Kitty cook and Lavinia sit around and look cute, that works right?

And the Awkward Conversation Ame smirked as she looked down at the half sleeping Lavinia before her. Her heart skipped a few beats at the sound of her voice and she feels her face flush as she bashfully looks away. 'So.. Cute!!!!!' As the girl speaks again she tilts her head and lets out a small laugh. "Well, I wasn't doing much, so I dashed over here as quick as I could, without running that is." She laughs again and places her hand on the young enchantress' head. "I was more than happy to learn about this beach day. Especially since it's turned out to be a rather nice one!" She had been getting used to the cold air, but it seemed like a nice summer day. She knew it was just the calm before the snow storm, but she was glad for it. She hadn't been to the beach in a long while and she wanted so badly to come with Lavinia at least once before it got too cold. She had picked out her bathing suit and she wanted to see how cute she would look in it again. She felt her eyes skim and smiled widely. Yup, still as adorable as always!
At her next words, Ame felt her mouth drop into a frown. "I wanted to, but they were both sleep-" Before she could finish, she too, was cut off by the sound of the familiar voice behind her. She felt her body tense from it's relaxed position and her ears and tail found themselves both standing straight up. Slowly, she turned her head, then her whole body, her eyes flashing down the young mans. She quickly met his gaze and let out her awkward laugh that sounded somewhere in between a witches cackle and a dying cow. She felt her cheeks flush pink as she listened to his words and tried her best to play it off cool. "Are you sure you aren't the one with the radar? Lately, you've been the one to appear randomly.." Her voice had meant to be cute, innocent and taunting all at once, but to her, it almost came out sounding annoyed. She had to fix that, immediately, or she knew the Assassin would take it the wrong way. As he spoke, she shook her head. "Don't worry about it, we're all friends here." Oh god, it was happening. Her words were not coming out right as she looked to Lavinia as she spoke about him owing lunch. Now she sounded, jealous? What the hell.. She shook her head and took a deep breath in, looking back to Lavinia. "I have enough food in my inventory to feed a small army, I can manage lunch" She smiled widely, but her eyes apologized to her for the way she had sounded. She hoped Lavinia would understand, as the petite girl had seen her act the way she was once before, but if she looked hard enough, she would find it much, much different than the last time.
Ame looked back to Saber and felt her face flush again, but she mentally shook it off and smiled wide. "I knew you just couldn't stay away." She giggled lightly, her playful voice finally resonating through her vocal cords as she had wanted it too. "I have no objections, Lavinia?" She looked over to her and watched her carefully. She hoped she didn't say no, as she thought it would be a good idea to get to spend sometime with the assassin in this sort of setting. The beach was always fun! Then, her mind clued in and her eyes widened as she looked to Saber, then to her body, then back to Saber, and just like that, she let out a random scream, her hand swung out and slapped him as her other arm covered her endowments. She swallowed hard as she had realized what she had done and she quickly dropped to the ground and lowered her head. "Oh my god.. I'm so sorry Saber! I don't know why I did that!" She felt her heart pound against her chest and she felt tears swell up in her eyes, but she kept her head lowered, not wanting to look at anyone. Not wanting to see either of their faces. The embarrassment had been to much before and now, now it was ten fold. She was nearly naked and knowing that he could see her, like that, made her react in the, strangest way she could have possibly ever reacted. Would he leave now? Would the time she had spent with him so far be gone to waste? Why the hell would he stay after that anyways? But now, if she didn't know before, Lavinia would know definitely that he was to one.. He was the one that she had spoken about. She put her hands to her face and shook her head, whispering, "I'm such a fool.."

Do you believe in ghosts? Kitty’s response to Saber’s appearance made the man grin slightly beneath his cloth-mask, and he held back a chuckle as he listened to her emotionally confused words, but then he continued with his introduction regardless. However, after doing so, he stood upright and crossed his arms over his chest. His heels dug into the sand and he listened to the two ladies take their turns with their deciding if he was worthy or not. Though, Lavinia’s words made Saber a little suspicious.
“I owe… lunch?” Saber raised his eyebrows slightly and his face drifted into something of a confused look, but also one which was awaiting evidence. His nose pressed into his scarf slightly and he eyed the familiar Lavinia as she reminded him of the time they had met a short time ago. It probably was longer that a few days, but Saber’s days melded so much that he elected to stop keeping track. It could be “Saturday” and he would be out and about thinking it was “Thursday”. His tracking of time was no better. However, he was very good at remembering specific events with various people; he just needed a bit of nudging. Lavinia provided that nudging, and the memory of his time spent with her and the two other fellows came to mind. It was like a movie reel, and Saber’s head replayed all of it. Though, he did remember one thing very clearly; Saber gave the offer, and Lavinia left.
He was going to correct her, but before he could, Kitty perked up and seemed quite intent on filling in for him. The Assassin wouldn’t dare interject, as he had tasted the food he could cook and he had been given a slight taste of Kitty’s. Saber used the menu to make his food, and it tasted much like bland food rations. Kitty used her hands and cooked in the actual world, so her food came out with actual flavor. If Saber were to cook lunch, then he would have to rely on the skills his father taught him, as pleasing these two women would take a lot more than menu navigating. In addition, Saber would have to spend money to change one of his classes so that he could be a chef. He may have been willing to spend money on Kitty, but Lavinia was far too new to him for that. With that being said, Saber was quite thankful for Kitty speaking up; she saved him money, saved him time and energy, and he would get the chance to taste her delicious food again. He had only been given a salad and some steak at first, but it had left him with a craving for more.
The Assassin shrugged as Kitty gave him a teasing line and a sly smile slid across his face, covered up by his scarf. His eyes then started to drift back to Lavinia, but stopped as he saw Kitty staring at him. Then, her hand came close to his face, very close to his face. Then there was the heat, and then the pain, and then the stunning effect from the sheer force of the slapping-impact. Saber’s eyes shot open as he was struck and he staggered to his right a few paces, his arms coming undone from his chest and flailing lazily down by his sides as he kept himself balanced. Due to the force of the impact, his scarf twisted and came a bit loose, dropping off his nose and dangling just by his chin only because it was wrapped around his neck. After taking a few steps to the side and recovering from his near-fall, Saber was now quite thankful he had kept that scarf on. Without it, there probably would have been a handprint plastered on his face. Instead, there was just a slight burn on his cheek from where the cloth roughly rubbing against him.
Saber placed his hand on his cheek and spit off to his side, away from the girls. He clenched his jaw, grinding his teeth together, and stood back up. As he did, he shot a hard glare at Kitty. When he did, he saw her covering her chest, if that was even possible. It took a few seconds, but finally it clicked in his mind. She must not have felt too comfortable with him all of a sudden, and he didn’t blame her. The man still had a t-shirt, shorts, and his scarf over his face, and all of that covered pretty much eighty-percent of his body; he didn’t trust anyone with his own figure. Though, he would have expected that slap to come earlier… as he had already made his looks and glances over the two ladies. It was actually a lot harder not to look. Though, even if Kitty hadn’t noticed him looking, that slap was probably well-deserved, and Saber closed his eyes for a moment as he listened to her apology. When she finished, he sighed and made his way over to the blonde. Very gently, he placed his hand on her head and rubbed it lightly.
“Oi.” Saber muttered, closing his eyes slightly as to help not make himself look as menacing, though he had a feeling that just looking kind wouldn’t help.
“I think I’d like two sandwiches today instead of one.” The man ruffled Kitty’s hair slightly and then turned away from her and Lavinia, walking up the beach and away from them, giving the two some space as he opened up his menu. He didn’t feel like dealing with his scarf anymore and it had served some kind of purpose, so he swiftly deposited it into his inventory. After, his hands made the familiar motion of resting on his blades, but whiffed at the air. The man then made an agitated face; he had put those away too. Instead, he grabbed onto his hips and turned to face the water, taking in the gentle breeze and the sweet smell of the air. Without the scarf acting as a filter, he was able to actually enjoy the air… and it had been quite a while since he had.
“I hope you ladies know what to do at a beach…” Saber said aloud after a few moments, and then he looked over at the girls.
“...because I ain’t got a clue.” Oh yes he did, Saber was here to hunt… but he figured he would have some fun in the sun or whatever that was. Being a mountain child, a beach was something new to him; so he honestly had no idea what to do here.
