"Well, this is it..." Dorian stood in front of the large front side of the building, a towering masterpiece of European design. Holding in his hands a singular crate of things, mainly books and papers, he stared up at the London Infirmary, refurbished and ready for use as the guild house; and, more importantly, his first home here in the new world. Until now he had been stuck sleeping under trees and hoping nothing would happen to him during his slumber; out in the field, waking up with nothing beside him except the roots spread out either side of him. He shook his head, curling his lips into a smile as he merely focused on the happiness that was their new place. First he had joined a guild, and now he had a place to stay! A wild week this had been for him, that was certain. Well, don't just stand their gawking big guy, go inside! Dorian rolled his eyes, but nodded his head in agreement as he stepped forward, box in tow within his arms as he ventured into the building, through the archways lining the bottom and into the front door, a pair of oak slabs the opened inward. Closing the door behind him with his feet, he turned to admire the entryway, turning to look as their seemed to be a receptionist desk to his left, propped up in front of another pair of doors. He'd have to see what was going on behind there, but for now his main goal was to grab a room and claim it. "Though, perhaps we should wait for a few more people to arrive... Wouldn't want to just rush in and steal a room from under their noses." He had spent some time with his guild mates before, during a quest they had taken together, their first job as a supporting group. It was nice to have a social circle of like-minded individuals; people who were willing to go that extra mile to help those who needed the aid of Adventurers, with all their support-centred abilities. Setting his crate down against the base of the receptionist desk, he hoisted himself up onto the top of it, shifting himself around on it to get comfortable. "Seems as good a spot as any."With that, he waited patiently, hands rested in his lap as he looked around the room; it was a little dusty, having not seen use since... well, however long it was since these buildings had been abandoned. He had no idea this building had existed before he had heard the details about it from his guild leader, but now that he was here, he wanted to help make it a place worth living in. With a little tender loving care, TLC as they call it, it'd be up and running in no time. A real home away from home; though, more likely this place would be their place of residence for many years to come. "Hmmm," he hummed under against his palette, turning to look over his shoulder at the desk he had sat himself upon. Hopping down, he walked around and stood behind it, using the palm of his hand to brush away the excess dust that had lingered and gathered upon it's surface. "This could work well..." He muttered to himself, his attention drawn for the moment. Notes: N/A Words: 561 Tags: Charuen kittygrey Khaleesi Lavinia Laelia Pioneer1 Capsule

"Infiltration complete."
Opening the box that Dorian had carried in, Pioneer 1 climbed out of it gazing around at her surroundings.
"Subject. Guildhall. Home? Negative. Base. Supply needed. Beginning foraging process. Target. Kitchen."
Removing from her inventory the original contents of Dorian's box, she roughly replaced the space she had only a minute before occupying and began to wander off silently. She peeked in every door she encountered, mapping her terrain. Like a cat or maybe a ghost, she flitted the halls of the new space certain to terrify someone eventually.

Uh... Dorian... Did you hear the crate open? The Shaman, blinking himself back to reality after having inspected the desk and cleaned it of it's dusted exterior, looked up to see the lid of the crate had opened. Raising the side of his brow out of curiosity, he walked around the side of the reception area, turning to face where he had placed the wooden box full of his things. There he saw the small, dwarfish form of Pio, one of his guildmates. "What the... Pio?" He leaned back slightly in surprise, repeatedly batting his eyes incredulously at the realisation he had been carrying the girl this entire time. "How did you get in there?" Posing the question, he thought back to when he had been carrying the crate, mentally slapping himself at not realising the change in it's weight. He supposed he must have just shrugged it off as a trick of the mind, or the strain of carrying it for too long. But, before he could get his question answered, Pio disappeared, wandering off into the building proper. Dorian gave a quick glance into his wooden container, checking that his stuff was still in there; once he had assured himself the contents were intact, he turned to face the door Pio had just disappeared through, following her through it and venturing out into the hallway that ran through the centre of the first floor, separating it into two wings, a left and a right wing. He stopped for a moment to look around, spotting two doors, one on either side of the hallway, slightly ajar after having the dwarf inspect through them. Taking the time to check them and put them back into a closed position for those who came in after, he continued to follow, climbing the staircase at the back of the hallway that led up to the second floor, winding back on itself to reach above. His feet gently tapping upon the steps, he felt the light echo emanate off it; of course, there was no need to be sneaky... Apparently that was Pio's job. Notes: N/A Words: 350 Tags: Pioneer1

"Situation dire."
Hearing someone approach Pioneer1 attempted to crawl under a nearby bed to hide but quickly found herself stuck.
"Error. Conflict enabled, hidden monster. Mimicry type."
Attempting to push with her arms to free herself, she found that her cloak or worse yet, possibly her skirt had become snagged somewhere.
"..."
Summoning a carbuncle, the tiny creature tried in vain to tug Pio out from her position by pulling on one of Pio's shoes. The shoe simply popped off leaving Pioneer1 with a freshly exposed sock.
"Error, mission proceeding toward critical failure. Situational query: trap likely. Integrating corpse pose into current tactical repertoire. Likely success ratio 10 percent. Suggest hope for subject unknown advancing entity to be bear."
Unable to move, Pio simply played dead. Funnily enough, without missing a beat, the carbuncle followed suit.

Reaching the top of the stairs, Dorian scanned the hallway that stretched out across the building, turning right to see a glimpse of an open door, slightly swinging after having just been pushed against it's hinges. Dusting himself off out of habit, the Shaman walked down the hallway, not hearing any sound coming from the room as he stepped into the door, slipping inside the room. It was a basic and simplistic setup, a lavish bed - albeit somewhat worse for wear - that seemed to have been knocked slightly skew. Investigating the disturbance, Dorian heard the muffled irritation of something stuck beneath the furniture, lowering himself down onto his knees to look underneath. "Huh," he muttered under his breath, spotting the two forms, both playing dead; one a short dwarf girl, obviously Pio... the other of course being her summoned pet, a carbuncle. He had seen summoned animals like it before, namely one such creature, but he didn't want to disturb it just yet before he had properly befriended it and earned it's trust. "Pio, you can come out from there." The Shaman continued to insist on the safety of the room and himself, only to quickly realise, despite her relaxed, 'play dead' mode, that she was inadvertently stuck. Rolling his eyes, he gently patted her shoulder to get her attention, before gesturing to the bed above. "I'm going to lift this up, you quickly slip out once you're free of whatever trap you've stumbled yourself into," he explained, before standing back up from the bed and looking it over. Shouldn't be too hard to carry for a few moments, the Shikigami uttered, Dorian nodding his head in agreement, before bending down to hook his hands underneath the bedspread. With a grunt of strength, he heaved with his back, lifting his side of the bed off the ground and inadvertently freeing Pio from her predicament, holding it up long enough for her to roll out and escape before setting it back down again, dusting his hands off in triumph. "Wasn't too hard at all." Notes: N/A Words: 343 Tags: Pioneer1

"Analyzing...."
The tiny witch spoke through a muffle as her forehead was still kissing the floor.
"Situation absolved, resuming mobile operations"
Crawling out, Pio assumed an out of the way kneeling position and turning her head from left to right reoriented her position. Her hair and clothes were a disordered mess. Her skirt was wrinkled, her shirt off center, her cloak was more or less in tact but slightly off shoulder now, and her hair looked like it had perhaps just engaged in a losing battle with a balloon. Dust aside and all withstanding, she had also not yet retrieved her shoe.
"..."
Reaching out, she drew the still limp carbuncle to her lap and began petting it. It cooed before audibly purring.
"Situation report. Mimicry infested guild hall, advise caution. Appropriate strategy: pair patrol. Stating original mission: acquire supplies. Query: will subject Dorian accompany for fulfillment of objective?"
Staring blankly into Dorian's eyes, Pio's stomach grumbled.

Ame turned to look at the personal house that she had bought for herself some time ago. She would miss the kitchen and her bed. She would miss the pitter patter of little feet on the wood floor and she would miss the quaint cafe that she had created in the front. Though she was keeping the house, she knew that she wouldn't come very often and the thought made her sad. She had made so many memories in her house and she couldn't just give it up or sell it. She figured if she needed to get away, this could be her retreat, though she planned to change a few things now that she would be living full time at her new guild home. Though excited, she shed a few tears as she turned from the house.
The tears were replaced with nerves as she came up to the new guild house. Her eyes widened at the landscape and the old beauty of the building. She would miss her old house, but she knew, by the feeling the building gave off, that this was where she was truly meant to be. She dropped her eyes to the door ahead and took a deep breath. Nodding, she took a few steps towards the door and opened it up. She stepped inside and took a long breath. She took a few steps inwards and looked around. The place was huge! The last guild she had been apart of hadn't had a house, so it was an amazing sight to see as her eyes darted around. She jumped a little, hearing noises upstairs, but she shook her head and smiled. "Looks like I'm not the first one. Hellooo!!!!" She called out as she continued to look around.
Before anyone could answer, she found herself stepping into the kitchen. Her eyes widened and a yip of glee escaped her mouth as she began searching the cupboards. It had all of the same things that hers had come with but it was much different looking. She had loved her houses, but somehow, this one was even better! She knew, then, that she truly did belong in this guild, with these people and in this house. She couldn't wait to see the rest of the place, but she stood in the kitchen, rubbing the counter. She felt safe and overly happy as this place, this kitchen was like a dream that she had never had, but always wanted to have! She was truly in all of her glory at that moment and she doubted anything could change the happiness that was shining through her eyes. She couldn't wait to see who else was here, so that she could express her feelings towards the newly acquired guild house. - Words -462- Tags -Pioneer1, @serenityspace- Skills Used ----- Notes -I'm coming in!~ Coded By Saber of L33T T3@M Modified by KittyGrey

Stepping back, the Shaman took the time to assess the damage as the small girl sat down in front of him, her pet comfortably seating itself over her lap. "You seem a bit worse for wear there," he noted, gesturing towards her now tattered outfit, the state of her appearance having not survived as well as she may have hoped after her spat under the bed. Lowering himself down to kneel in front of her, bringing their heights closer together, he extended his hand out briefly, and began concentrating his mana into a particular skill he had recently acquired. Given her own magical ability, Pio would no doubt have witnessed the energy of the atmosphere around them slowly seep into his hand, collecting and weaving into his fingertips. "This should help; no need to fret, this won't hurt at all," he reassured her, leaning forward to gently brush his hand past her fringe, lightly pressing the tip of his index and middle finger onto her forehead, allowing the energy and mana to mix in and collect onto her skin. As the spell was cast, a rune quickly formed upon her brow, symbolising the innate energy that had weaved itself between them; this energy would then disperse from the mark, rejuvenating the small Summoner's body and repairing any scratches and bruises she would have acquired from her scuffle under the bed. And then, as quickly as it had appeared, the rune faded away, leaving her looking as if nothing had befallen her beneath the mattress, the only evidence left that anything had occurred being the missing shoe. "Here, I'll get that for you," he finished, lowering himself flat onto the ground and extending his arm under the bed, grasping at the singular footwear that had been so rudely left behind. Pulling himself back up, he handed her back her shoe, trusting her to be able to put it back on by herself. It was then that Dorian heard the grumble of Pio's stomach, chuckling softly as he stood up properly, bowing his head in agreement. "Sounds like a good plan; there might be something down in the kitchen."Gesturing for her to follow, he walked over to the doorway, exiting out into the hall and waiting for her to tag along as she pleased before leading her back down the stairs and onto the floorboards of the first floor. Keeping his senses sharp, he managed to pick out the sound of something rummaging behind the wall to his left. "Looks like someone had the same idea, Pio," he spoke, moving forward to open the door situated directly in front of the stairs, leading into the Deluxe Kitchen. Slipping inside, he was surprised to spot the familiar face of Kitty, who had managed to find her way into the kitchen, and was now affectionately rubbing the counter-top. "I'd say get a room, but... well." Dorian chuckled teasingly, stepping away from the doorway to let Pio inside if she so pleased, before approaching the eager fox tail. "In any case, it's good to see you again, Kitty!" The Shaman curled his lips into a beaming smile of joy, clearly sharing the Cleric's happiness over the new place. "..."
Pio tilted her head as Dorian tidied her up. She was unsure what to do so simply remained still. Quickly slipping back on her shoe she followed on her tip toes behind Dorian suspiciously eyeing the furniture with her slowly sweeping profile gazes. At their arrival, she quickly became impatient and wanted to take the lead.
"....kitchen..."
Pushing lightly past Dorian's left hip, Pioneer1 entered the room briskly looking around, Her carbuncle followed sniffing about on her heels. She had not expected to see another person.
".....kittygrey"
The petite witch paused.
"kitchigrey.... "
Pio nodded, satisfied.
"kitchigrey...."
She repeated for effect looking at Dorian. She tilted her head wondering why Dorian did not find this hilarious. Raising her right arm, she pointed at Kitty without breaking eye contact with Dorian. She tried one last time for his benefit.
"kitchigrey."
Gazing deeply into the recesses of those windows to his soul, Pio was in genuine shock that Dorian did not find this funny and for a moment she pitied the man. Turning her back on him in a kind of pouting disregard of disappointment she returned to her original objective.
"Subject Pioneer1 requests of Subject Kitchigrey the procurement of ezmorez."

Ame was far too busy indulging in the new counter tops to hear the footsteps that were headed in her direction. She hadn't even noticed that two other guild members had joined her until an 'eep' came from her lips and her cheeks turned rosy red. She quickly stood, removing her hands from the counter and stepped back, her hands held in the air as if she were under arrest. She slowly turned her body to find Dorian, a male shaman she had recently met, standing there, a grin on his face, nd the small summoner she had come to adore, pushing her way past him. Her shock filled face quickly turned into a kind, but slightly embarrassed smile as she lowered her hands. "Why, hello there you two! It's nice to see you as well!"
She had been about to address her excitement of the new guild house, until Pio popped in before she could begin. She felt her cheeks grow hot and knew that her cheeks were a bright pink as she held back her laughter of the dwarf's attempt of a joke. Her face turned an even brighter pink as the summoner said it once again. A hint of a giggle escaped her, but just barely. She put her hands to her mouth, her attempt to hide the laugh. It wasn't that she was offended by the name and it wasn't that she didn't want Pio to think that she didn't think it was funny, but she knew she would take it over board and probably end up making a fool of herself. She had been doing a fine enough job, but when she turned to Dorian and the name came from her mouth again, she broke out into a full on laugh. She felt her body bend, her hands placing themselves on her mid thigh as her laughter became to much. It was a rowdy laugh, causing her stomach to hurt.
It wasn't until Pio turned her back and looked to her, her words reaching the fox tails ears, that she stopped her laughter, breathing hard. She wiped a few tears from her cheek and grinned widely, bending down to the dwarf. "Oh, Pio. You are just too darned cute, you know?" With that, she pulled the small summoner into a hug and squeezed her lightly. She put her back down on the ground and stood, nodding her head. "Subject Kitchigrey will commence the procurement of the choco-fluff-crackers!" She giggled, recalling the mission that they had been put together on. She had promised Pio anything that she wanted, and with her asking for the s'mores, she felt as though her own personal mission had been completed. She had clearly loved them!
"I'll make lots so that everyone can have them!" She smiled widely and looked between Pio and Dorian for a moment and then got right to work. She opened her interface and clicked three times. As she clicked, graham crackers, bars of chocolate and marshmallows galore began to cover the counter top she had been fondling just moments before. She always stayed stocked up on her essentials and s'mores were such an easy treat to make that she always bought the items when she saw them. She turned on the massive grilling station and went back to the ingredients. She began by laying out several graham crackers, breaking and placing squares of chocolate on top and then laid the marshmallows over the chocolate. She did this several times until there was enough for about five of the s'mores for each person in the guild. Even if they didn't eat it all, she managed a glance to the dwarf, Pio certainly would. She let out a soft chuckle and returned to her work. She began placing the towering crackers on the grill, waiting until the chocolate had melted and them placed the tops on, squishing the marshmallows slightly and then flipping them. She found a large platter and began placeing the snacks on them as the finished. In no time, the platter was filled and she put it on the counter, cleaning the mess around her. "All done! Get them while they're hot!" She grinned widely and picked a s'more, popping it into her mouth and waiting for the others to dive in. - Words -717- Tags -Pioneer1 , @serenityspace - Skills Used ----- Notes ---- Coded By Saber of L33T T3@M Modified by KittyGrey

[attr="class","solcap"] To Capsule, it felt very strange to have two separate homes. As the last Pfeiffer child to move out, she had never once looked back. To stay with her parents or to return would be a horrible regression. She would sacrifice much of her freedom by doing so, and honestly could not continue on living there, not without hurting her father in the end. He was her dad, and she loved him, but sometimes the man could use a good punch to the face. The Germans even had a word for people such as her father: Backpfeifengesicht, a face in dire need of a fist.
She paused for a moment outside of the guild hall. Not even as the guild master for Avarice had she used the bedrooms much. If she bothered, it was out of convenience, and certainly not because she felt that she was at home. The Tower of London was large, too large for one person to live in. Sure, she had a few Lander servants, as well as her pets, but… it just did not feel right. It was why she chose to lounge around in her privately owned home. Personal homes could be secluded and out of the eye of the public, not as easily found as guild halls, and definitely not in danger of being foreclosed upon or bought out by an active guild.
At her side, young Bosco nosed his way up to the door, turning his head up to offer a curious sniff at its frame. The dog was a few months shy of completing maturation. He was a puppy no more, and was now tall enough to bowl her over, especially since her recent decline in height. A short girl with a medium sized dog that might as well have been a large. It seemed befitting of someone who tamed beasts like bears and stately reindeer on a daily occasion.
Their first stop in the impressive, albeit old, building turned out to be the kitchen. Bosco, upon detecting numerous scents and sounds, gave a soft bark in excitement. This should be his first time meeting up with her guild mates. Aleksei had popped that first cherry, back when he thought little Pio was a delectable penguin. Capsule could never fathom how one could find penguin meat tasty; it seemed pretty fatty to her, and -- ah!
The scent of freshly made crackers tickled her nostrils as she stepped into the kitchen. Capsule raised a hand in greeting, eyes darting from Dorian, to Kitty, and lastly Pio. "I hope I am not interrupting anything." Sadly, Bosco lacked in politeness. The dog helped himself into the room, loping about as he eagerly bumped into the legs of the others with his nose and snout. He seemed particularly enamored by Kitty -- was it because she was a fox tail? "Oh, that is Bosco. Don’t worry about him; he's… mostly friendly." "KNOW THAT I'M ALREADY HOME" During her time in the Unfounded Kingdom, Charuen moved many times. First she moved into the little inn in Londinium, and then Westminster Abbey as a member of Aeryn. When she decided to take a break from adventuring, she moved in with Midori, her heretic friend. Upon returning to adventuring, the cleric moved back into the inn in Londinium, for her guild had disbanded. While one might find the constant packing and unpacking of boxes to get tiring, Charuen didn't mind too much. If anything, she found it oddly fitting, for she was an adventurer at heart. That said, while she had no qualms with never staying in one place for long (If anything, she enjoyed it very much), the idea of finally having a place to call home was exciting. A year ago, the pinkette would have laughed if someone told her that she was the leader of a guild. How times have changed! Starting Ephemeral Solace was one of the best decisions she made. The members of her guild were family in her eyes, and she had never met such a friendly and hardworking group of people. Now that they were living together, she wondered what would be in store for them. Juggling just three boxes in her arms, the guildmaster of Ephemeral Solace pushed open the doors of her guild house and stepped in. Judging from the boxes she saw on the reception table, as well as the sound of muted voices upstairs, she deduced that her guild members had arrived before her. Taking careful steps, the pinkette climbed the stairs and followed the voices until she found herself in the kitchen. A smile tugged at her lips as she peeked out from the side of her boxes to survey the scene. "Oh my," She began, a look of amusement on her face. "We seem to have a party going on in here! Good morning @serenityspace , Kitty, Capsule , and little Pio !" The cleric gave the dwarf an affectionate pat on the head. "And what are we all doing in here?" She asked, looking up at everyone once more. From the corner of her eye she noticed a dog, but did not think much about it. She reasoned it belonged to Capsule, who was an animal trainer. The pink haired adventurer ended up answering her own question as she noticed the smores on the counter table. "Wow, smores!" She gushed and beamed at kittygrey , whom she knew was the only chef among the current party other than herself and thus, the creator of the confections. "Mind if I take one Kitty?" She asked, gently placing her boxes onto the ground. As she moved towards the counter, Charuen asked another question. "Has everyone already unpacked?" Bowing his head towards the eager fox tail behind the counter, Dorian's attention was quickly taken by the small dwarf beside him, who seemed enamoured by a word she had been repeating. "Kitchigrey...?" Was it from a language she had discovered on her own, this word that he had never heard before? It rightly confused him, which seemed to shock and distress Pio to great lengths. He felt foolish for not understanding, looking back into the dwarf's eyes with an apologetic glance. To top it off, Kitty seemed to have broken herself into a fit; was she laughing at him? Rather rude... Unless of course, 'kitchigrey' was a joke, some form of amusing other-language word that was meant to bring laughter to those that heard it? This saddened the Shaman even further, as he was always one for a good joke, and knew the pain of having one lay flat because someone didn't understand it. Deciding to simply give a gentle, well-meaning shrug, he stepped to one side to let Kitty and Pio converse, seeing the adoration in the fox tail's eyes as she bent down to give the dwarf an affirmative. The Shaman was about to offer his assistance with the 'choco-fluff-crackers' - yet another instance where he felt greatly out of his depth; were these all just in-jokes between the pair, after their adventure together? - but it seemed that Kitty had it all handled, swiftly emptying her inventory onto the counter with various goods and ingredients. Whatever these delightful items were that she was cooking up, they were bound to be delicious, especially to a sweet tooth like Dorian. With time to spare, the Shaman took to inspecting the rest of the kitchen, his eyes wandering over the various areas of interest and nodding his approval; it was not unlike his kitchen back home, in the old world, and that had been a rather lavish one, as he remembered. It was befitting for the guild's home. After all, it wouldn't do for Ephemeral Solace to look overly shabby, would it? After a few moments, and a bit of quickly disguised mouth watering over the smell filling the room, and the cook was complete. Turning back to pay Kitty his undue attention, he was surprised to see that the 'choco-fluff-crackers' were in fact s'mores. Quickly grabbing one after having been offered, the Shaman popped it into his mouth, biting down with a pleasant and gorgeous crunch. Chewing it through and swallowing it down - talking with your mouthful was uncouth, as his mother always said - Dorian quickly put his hands together as if in prayer and dropped his head forward in Kitty's direction. "You are a cooking saint, Kitty." Lifting his head back up, he heard the presence of another entering the room, turning to see Capsule and her pet dog arrive, giving the Enchanter a polite wave and a bow of his head. Feeling the gentle bump of the dog's snout against his leg, he bent down towards it, gently petting it's head and pleasantly scratching behind it's ears. "Glad to meet you, Bosco," he responded, after hearing Capsule say his name. Charuen, the esteemed guild master, soon entered the room, and after greeting her as well, the Shaman had to give a shake of his head. "I'm afraid I haven't quite gotten to unpacking yet..." Looking over at Pio, he rolled his eyes, before a sudden light bulb clicked on in his head. "Kitchgrey!" With that, he could not help but release a solid laugh. Notes: For now, moving in and perhaps investing in room design would be a good start, but as for after, I'm not sure. Words: 586 Tags: Pioneer1 kittygrey Capsule Charuen
