Throw Fear Away
No I can't lose!
It was a challenge, to come into this area alone. It was recommended by many whispers to bring a party, but Besavel had gone ahead impulsively, going by herself. She was nearly strong enough to be able to do these things all by herself, and didn't really require anyone to be behind her. Though, it was suggested, the pathfinder let her eyes run over the place, patiently waiting for something to happen. No, that wasn't quite right either; her toggled skill let her see the creatures around her, as if she was waiting for them to come towards her. The girl shifted her body weight, paying attention to how things would flow; she wanted to attack the creature with the most likely hood of being strong.
If she was right, then other people were around, and would come help possibly. Besavel was betting on that, because she heard a couple of lower leveled players went out here. That's why the Samurai was here herself. She wanted to help them, maybe even invite them to her project, the guild she was creating. Well okay, maybe not that forward, but she wanted to at least help them level and take this area with ease. The woman let out a soft sound, and shook her head, before concentrating. She let her mind slip and meld into the area, to think more and more about the creatures here.. she let her eyes gaze at the place, finding monster names, and such. Another breath. She would be able to do this.
The woman saw quite a few interesting types of monsters; and mainly some plant types, which she had been itching to fight against to test her Woodcutter skill. The girl breathed in, and then readied her blade. ''HIYAAAAH!'' she let out, a shout that would echo in the swamp.. and alert anybody near by that she had entered battle. The blonde's steps were heavy, but not enough to sink her, as her blade swept, biting into the Invasive Fungal Spore she had spotted. It was about level 8, and she was more then adequate to deal with it. However, several Possessed Stumps were in the area, and decided to try and lob things at her. As the blonde scooted backwards to try and avoid them, she stepped on a lying down Weak Goblin Scout.
The creature raised itself with an angry yell, as the blonde blinked, not necessarily overwhelmed, but now having more targets then she thought would be good. But hey, if anyone had heard her shout, they would probably be running towards the elf, as her fleet footed race allowed her to relatively keep herself from being damaged too much. But she would probably have to activate a skill soon, as the Fungus she had poked was starting to shift towards them. She didn't know what it would do, but it was higher leveled then any of the other monsters, combined. After all, there were about three level 1 Stumps and one at level 2 Stump, along with the level 2 Goblin as well. That added up to them about level 7 combined; it should be easy to take them out for others.
As such, the Samurai would make sure to take down the fungus, if she could get to it relatively soon. But for that.. she'd need help, and she could only count on the good will of the people around her. She had faith in them all, but who knew, her faith could be just as misplaced as her morals at times. And this right now would be the test of that very fact.
Right?
