They tend to show the full range of her emotions since her brow is covered by red hair that frames her face in a short bob style, with a deep purple bow hanging loosely at the back of her head as its accessory. The bottom half of her face is covered by a belted red cloak that partially covers a pair of black and red robes. She seems to be partial to red and black as her main motif, preferring short skirts and flat leather shoes but known to wear pants if her armor class permits it. She’s generally rather reserved about everything and keeps a quiet but intense sort of presence about herself. Not to say that she doesn’t have her silly side, the fact that a male was playing her before he got stuck in the body of the character has led to some interesting situations, though he’s mostly grown out of the fascination with his or rather her own body. In real life however Geoffrey was a bit of a thin nerd, bespectacled with long black hair and a penchant for always having his nose in a book. He was always shy and quiet and never maintained eye contact with anyone long enough for them to notice his hawkish brown eyes. Despite being pretty androgynous he always felt a certain affinity toward his feminine side, not enough to dress up or anything silly like that, but enough that he would wear pastel colors in public and always play female characters in any game he played. This is what he did with most of his time since games allowed him to explore his female side more easily. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] Geoffry as Duana is intensely loyal to herself and her code of honor, and is mostly seen as a lone wolf type of person. She prefers to keep her thoughts and feelings to herself but will not hesitate to act upon them in a snap, making her process of thought and action very confusing to the casual observer. She very keenly cares about the things that go on around her but doesn’t seem to have the scruples to really show her thoughts to others except in short bursts. When she does let her emotions flow they become very intense, almost unbearably so as she focuses them entirely at the object of her outburst. Most of the time though she’s pretty quiet, often a little embarrassed about his situation as a male in a females body he tries his best not to be seen as a pervert. Not for lack of misfortune on her part, those in the know about Geoffrey’s plight put him under an intense light for the simplest things. She can’t take a bath or go to bed without being put under some amount of scrutiny by others and her interactions with others has led to a lot of confusing and embarrassing situations. So it’s mostly for the best that she’s generally pretty quiet about his feelings toward others, especially that she sort of likes the idea of being treated as a girl. Very fast to think and even faster to act, Duana relies mostly on her gut instincts rather than her mental facilities. This can leave her seeming very intellectually dull in some situations as she often makes has huge gaps in logic and will approach dangerous situations with the most blunt and forward thinking possible. Most of her criticisms are focused toward herself, if she does something wrong she blames her own luck or skill. This makes it hard for her to work in a party environment as she is often at ends with others trying to improve her own skills rather than her ability to work with others. By the same token though her strict moral code and compunction for protecting others at the drop of a pin makes her one of the most loyal members of a team that anyone can have, if not the most desirable. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] You’ll never amount to anything with your head buried in a book. He didn’t even really like to read as a kid, he just didn’t really like to be with the other children. So Geoffrey would spend most of his time alone looking over a book, at first it was just a look for pictures of heroes fighting monsters and the like; the kind of thing that a young boy fantasizes about on the school yard. Soon enough though pictures weren’t really doing enough for him and he was spending most of his time reading about far off lands and dangerous adventures. More often than not he would place himself in the shoes of the hero, or as he got older and began to learn more about his own body the heroine. This is perhaps what drew him to online games in the first place, he was always excited to have adventures and explore new lands. He’d play in the in the role of a female heroine usually, though he wasn’t much for parties instead pushing himself as a solo player. Eventually this line of reasoning would push him toward Log Horizon as his tendency to be a solo player meant he’d often get bored with most MMO games and jump around to new ones. Even though he was often inside of a book or a game he wasn’t a nerd by any means, he wasn’t terrible at sports and he wasn’t averse to talking to others. In fact he was astutely staunch toward protecting those who were particularly nerdy. He had a code that made him pretty fierce when dealing with those who would pick upon the meek, so he easily integrated with the collective of those that were into video games and fantasy stuff like he was.
