Hi! ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ I've been asking at the cbox for a blacksmith but there seems to be none, or none who go to the cbox. So I put up my request here.
First off, a summary of my character's theme: "black". Her family name, hair color, her favorite toy- all black. It represents how she feels towards the world. She does not want any close relationships, primarily because does not want to experience more heartaches (family background). She also does not want to fail, or rather, wants to hide her failures. Her inspirations are comedic, The Black Knight and The Rabbit of Caerbannog (Monty Python); but they also represent how she wants to hide from the world (Black Knight is completely armored) and that she tends to mind nothing but her own business (the Rabbit) until random groups offodder fighters bother her.
So far I've asked some nice people to make: a plushie, a satchel, an armor set. The only thing missing is a signature sword (perhaps some chef tools too, but that's not a priority). My request is the following:
Nóttúlfr (Nott's Wolf/Night Wolf)

A bit of explanation! Again! If I wanted to keep the samurai theme, I could have stuck with a katana or the default nodachi and just change its description. But I want more than that. Caerbannog is shorter than the average adventurer, so katana and nodachi are unwieldy for her. A nagamaki, on the other hand, handles kinda like a naginata (spear) but not quite; it's still a sword. The longer hilt just makes it easier for her to grasp, wield and balance. Also, because I do intend to level her up, Nóttúlfr will be reforged and upgraded- hopefully by the same blacksmith that made it.
What's up with the name, you ask? Why such a name for a Japanese sword? Because Caerbannog's father is German, and her mother is Japanese. The tsuba is a dragon despite the "wolf" name because the meaning of the whole name does not pertain specifically to a wolf. Rather, it's something like "the goddess' savage hound" (Nótt is the goddess/personification of night), an avenger or hero of the goddess.

Nóttúlfr (Nott's Wolf/Night Wolf)
- A 2-shaku nagamaki (60 cm / 24 in) with black tsuka (hilt) and shinogiji (flat sides of the blade). A nagamaki is a Japanese sword that has equally long blade and hilt.
- The name of the sword Nóttúlfr is written on the shinogiji that is closest to the tsuba (hilt guard).
- The signature of whoever forged it is written on the nakago (handle of the sword, hidden in the hilt).
- The tsuba (hilt guard) is completely black and the pattern is a dragon.
- The tsuka (hilt) is made of black wood (any suggestions?) and, because it is a nagamaki, is also 60 cm long.
- The saya (wood scabbard) is also black.
- 2-shaku blade + 24 inches hilt = 4-foot nagamaki
