The sun would slowly raise on the little town of London. Exiting from his makeshift base in the London Metro Library. He would walk along the side walk. He would be holding a book in his hand, Flipping through the pages absently. His eyes scanning the ancient text translating the pages slowly in his mind. Shifting through the crowd of adventures. Flipping a page coming to a short story. He would begin to transcribe the story out loud to himself. Stepping through the crowd to the other side. His steps slow and thoughtless.
"Ancient tales of great treasure that rest inside the destroyed tunnels of the metro. Low level beast and goblins rest inside these caverns. Stories tell of a area deep inside the Metro bearing the odd feature of snow and ice. Some say a frost giant bears within the tunnels at this point guarding a sort of ancient device capable of generating snow. This device is known as the frost helm and many have died loo-"
He would suddenly bump into something. He would stop too look down at a small female Samurai whose path he had crossed. His booking having fell from his hand landing on her head. He would slowly grasp the tome lifting it. Exposing the page illustration of snow and ice to the female's eyes, He would begin to close the book, Slowly moving it to his leather pouch
"Oh, Banner. Hello! How have you been? I see you've leveled up~!"
His usual cheerful smile crossing his lips. He would stare down at the small beautiful lass. Slowly arching his head to the side giving her a small pat to the shoulder.

The samurai wandered back into Londenium after a long day in the Greatwood. Hrairoo, her frenmic rabbit, was calmly perched upon her head. While they both minding their own business, Caerbannog’s small frame was almost thrown off the road and into the sidewalk by a strong bump. Her rabbit was able to hold on tightly, fortunately, but it slid down to the back of her head. Luckily too, for the tome that landed on the girl might have hurt it otherwise. The girl was able to steady herself somehow and when the book stopped obscuring her line of sight, she looked up at the culprit.
A familiar voice greeted her, though the sight was not something that she could remember clearly. After all, their first meeting was in a dark night with nothing but moonlight and a lantern for illumination. She nodded to acknowledge his presence and greeting, and kept a polite demeanor despite the unwelcome pat to her shoulder. To confirm his observation regarding her level, Caerbannog put a hand on the back of her head to help Hrairoo up to its usual position.
“ Crafting, taming, questing... “ she enumerated her recent activities.

His eyes would light up looking at the small rabbit, Sliding the book into his satchel. His head leaning forward staring at the tiny creature. A delighted squee coming from his mouth. He would rest his hands back to his side.
Looking around a bit at the area they were in. His hand coming to his chin before looking down at her. A soft grin coating his lips with delight. Removing another book from his satchel he would flip through it pointing at a small map an lake due south of the city of london. Inside of the lake would be a small island covered in snow a perpetual winter in the land."Oi, Banner you said you needed to find snow and ice right? There is this island a bit south of her which seems to never stop snowing. From what I heard there are Keystones there with carvings of ancient text on them somewhere on the island. If you would like to go with me I can bring as much snow as I can carry back with me as payment!"Swiping his fingers in the air. A display coming to appear in the face of the female Samurai.AddFriend?

The brown ball of fur pulled its ears back when the taller adventurer inspected it. It had always been fearful of bipeds, even of its own tamer when they first met. Being Domesticized meant that it was a part of the samurai’s armory, but the creature’s demeanor remained the same. Still, though it was apprehensive of the presence of other bipeds, Hrairoo knew that as long as it stayed close to Caerbannog, no harm would come to it.
The samurai then wondered what it was that Shaz needed, for he stayed around instead of moving on. He then pulled out a book, and at that, Caerbannog expressed some interest. Was it the same book as before? Nah, it was a different one, but it did have what the girl needed for her research. Before she could think on his offer, two requests appeared on her interface. The samurai stepped back a bit, still not used to all those things popping up – she probably never would get used to them. Once she realized what those requests were, Caerbannog confirmed them without putting much thought into it. Hey, what could go wrong anyway?
“ Okay, lead, “ she simply said after confirming the requests, for Caerbannog really had no idea as to where or how they should start the quest.

He would open the book flipping through the pages a few times before resting it into his satchel. He would bring up his inventory screen equipping twin blades to the right side of his hips. He would Adjust his leather armor. He would nod at the female as a small signal to begin walking. Stepping slowly through the rear path out of town heading towards A thick forest bordering London. The sun had just risen as they begun they journey ahead of them.
He would venture through the beaten path, slowing his steps to stand next to the female. He would be using her higher level to ward off the lower level beast in the area. After clearing through the forest he would come to a stop turning and walking to what appeared to be a large rock covered in moss. He would kneel down tearing off the vines before slowly stepping back.
He would move back several feet before rushing forward and forcing his foot against the rock like object the cracking off wood would echo across the area. He would kneel down tearing the hunks of wood away from the hole he made. He would bring his hand across the upper part of the hole revealing a rusted metal sign. The worn paint just hinting at the words "London Metro System"
He would tear off the hunks off wood. Grasping at the lantern hanging from his side He would twist the knob causing it to light carefully holding it in front of his chest. He would slide into the metro staircase taking a few steps forward through the dust and cobwebs he would stop in the middle of the ticket area. Most of the area was covered in overgrowth parts of the roof caved in. He would scan his lantern around before yelling out.
"Clear, Come on down be careful tho the stairs are rusted!"

Equipped: Windsor Antiqua Ooyoroi | Windsor Antiqua Nagamaki (2H) - :: - Skill: -none- Caerbannog patiently waited for the guy to get ready while she gently stroked Hrairoo’s cheek. The frenmic rabbit was still very wary of the taller biped, for it had almost been squished by the book earlier. Its ears were pulled back and its eyes were fixated on the other adventurer. The rabbit watched the taller person’s every move as the pair of adventurers made their way to the Greatwood. The samurai yawned as they walked on for she had not rested yet. She intended to sleep on the streets again, or perhaps at the Abbey, but the sudden encounter with an acquaintance meant that she had to forego a few hours of rest.
Though the black-haired girl barely noticed, Shaz walked beside her on the way to their destination. And that was something which Hrairoo thought odd. The rabbit knew nothing about adventurers and their level system, but it knew at least that certain creatures stayed away from his tamer. Roo gave the other biped a mean look for the creature thought that he was leeching off of her somehow- and in some sense, he was. Curiously, Shaz then turned towards a large mossy rock. He knelt down, tore off the vines and slowly stepped back. Up until that point, the samurai had been yawning and rubbing her eyes while her rabbit kept watch.
The girl then rubbed her eyes profusely, for surely she had been dreaming... Shaz just kicked a rock and it turned to wood? No matter, though the rabbit was equally dumb-founded; the other adventurer had just led them to the Metro System. Fairly strange for Londenium to have such a thing... did it have trains in the past? Caerbannog was too tired to think though, and their walk through the woods only served to exhaust her further.
Shaz then took out a lantern – or had it always been there? – either way, it was useful for such a place. That lantern lit up the descent and with Hrairoo’s coos and chatters, Caerbannog was able to safely make her way down. She put her hand on her nagamaki’s hilt, the weapon’s total length almost up to a total of 122cm what with the equal measurements of the hilt and blade. It looked unwieldy for a person of her stature, but the nagamaki’s make was easier to utilize than her old nodachi’s.
The blue-eyed samurai looked around as far as the lantern’s light could see. There were no telltale signs of living creatures there, not in her line of sight anyway. But it was better to be careful than sorry, so she gently tapped Hrairoo’s cheek which signalled the frenmic rabbit to be especially vigilant. The creature ducked as low as it could upon her head; its chin rested upon the girl’s hair while its legs clung tightly upon her crown. The domesticized creature pulled its ears back every now and then to listen to any sounds from all directions. Meanwhile, Caerbannog simply nodded at Shaz, implying that he should go on with whatever exploration or discovery he was doing. She’d cover his back, as she was better equipped to do so; that, and the samurai did not trust other players being behind her, not when she’d been Player-Killed recently.

Shaz would stop walking over to a wall, bringing his wrist up brushing off some dust and dirt with his sleeve. He would lift the lantern up Examining a worn map, tracing his finger over it. He would slowly remove his Quill and Scribe's notebook. He would begin to write down a few things down, drawing a small map into the paper. This would cause a map to appear in his overhead display he would close his notebook with a loud clap setting it into his satchel. He would grasp at the edge of the map. Pressing his foot to the wall he would yank it off as exhale of dust coming from his deconstruction of the area. He would fold the map up placing it into his satchel. Exhaling softly he would dust himself off.
He would walk over to the edge of the platform. He would turn and look at the rabbit. Staring at the small beast. Watching it's eyes affixed to one tunnel he would study to beast posture. Watching the tensed muscle of the rabbit twitching, it's ears leaning back in a offensive posture. He would lean over slowly staring down into the tunnel. His long sharp ears twitching slowly hearing a low pounding noise. He would take out his notebook, scratching at his map crossing off one of the tunnels. He would turn and look at the female giving a soft disheartened smile. He would turn and walk over to the ticket booth raising the lantern inside looking inside at the decayed electronics. He would push somethings aside picking up a small sheet of paper. He would make his way over to the female. Holding a single ticket in his hand. He would tear the ticket stub off. Handing the small female the end of the ticket giving her a light smile.
"Consider this something remember me by after this is all over."
He would turn and walk to the opposite tunnel. Dropping down off the platform onto the tracks. He would raise his hand telling the female to wait. He would pick up part of the broken sealing cocking his hand back launching the rock down the tunnel. He would walk down the tunnel slowly the light form his lantern slowly fading away so foot steps fading off into the distance. He would walk several meters into the tunnel. Coming to a end of the tunnel covered in planks. Drawing his blades he would cross them over his chest. "Straights!" Slashing his blades across the planks shredding them as he stepped through. He would sheath his blades looking around seeing light towards the end of the tunnel. He would turn and walk back towards where he left the female. After a few moments in time the light would return to the platform. He would extend his right hand out to the female on the platform offering it to her to help her down.

Equipped: Windsor Antiqua Ooyoroi | Windsor Antiqua Nagamaki (2H) - :: - Skill: -none- In that dark, underground place with nothing but a lantern for lighting, a stray thought wandered into the samurai’s mind- that, perhaps it was not a good idea to stay in that place for too long. Hrairoo looked around vigilantly and twitched its ears at any noticeable disturbance. So far, there was none aside from the sound of paper and writing as Shaz turned to his references. But as the scholar walked over to the platform though, the frenmic rabbit thought that it heard sounds coming from one of the tunnel.
Hrairoo turned its nose up at the direction from where the sound came. Its ears twitched every now and then, a bit more frantically than when it did not hear anything odd. The rabbit was relieved when the scholar went off and did something else other than go down the dangerous tunnel. As for the rabbit’s tamer, she simply followed the lantern’s movement, and of course, the adventurer attached to it. Shaz went and took something from a ticket booth. Was there a working train? Caerbannog thought. To her surprise, the scholar tore up the stub and gave her half of it.
- Ah, a keepsake? - the samurai thought to herself, and then she put the item in her inventory.
Caebannog’s eyes then followed the other adventurer as he walked down the supposedly safe tunnel, or at least that tunnel which did not make Hrairoo run away out of fear. Though she did not think it was a good idea to be far from the other in such a dark place, she had been instructed to wait thus she did just that. After clearing the way up ahead, Shaz returned to the platform and to the samurai. He extended a hand to help her down, but Caerbannog politely declined it. One hand was on her weapon’s saya, the other was on the rabbit atop her head to make sure that it did not fall off. The samurai then hopped off the platform and landed on the tracks. She waited for Shaz to lead the way through the tunnel, at the end of which was a bright, seemingly natural light.
Since they were almost out of the dark area, Caerbannog sent Hrairoo away and stored the rabbit in her armory. The end of the tunnel might be too dangerous for the rabbit after all. With ample lighting there, the samurai would be able to clearly see any enemies and uselessly endangering her tamed creature’s life was out of the question.
