She wasn’t blessed in the area of breasts as her sister were, she had a meager medium B-Cup, which often made her shyness show even more at functions she would attend with her sisters. One psychical aspect that Rumi did have was a quite strength. This showed from her intense training with her father before he died and later continued with her uncle. She can often be seen in her work out routine with her exceptional, intermediate, carved muscular structure as having a polished glisten of sweat drops from them in the artificial light. Her body exudes liquid perfection in both motion and beauty. Unlike her sisters who never really took their training seriously Rumi did and it shows both in her personality as well as her physical development. One thing that Rumi does have is a heaping helping of cuteness. This is not the cute like puppy cuteness oh no Rumi seemed to be born with an uncommon sense of pitiable I want to help and hug you kinda cuteness. Rumi didn’t as much though. As long as she is in the mood, affection from both males and females are fine with her. Kurai Kari-Shi Game Appearance When it came time to create her alternate persona on the Elder Tales video game character creation screen she wanted something similar to herself and yet different. It took awhile to get the right mix but she finally accomplished it. Kurai Kari-Shi much like her real self has very pedomorphic or "babyish" features. Kurai Kari-Shi tresses of silky, thin, silver, short, bobbed length hair seem to display a mind all its own. They seem to have a wild unkempt feel to them until she puts them into neatly clipped (Okami no mimi) of wolf ear bangs. When not put into this style and the wind blows just right the left side of the bangs seems to come alive, covering one side of her face making her look mysteriously and evil, though this in purely unintentional. Sometimes as if to further the intent that her hair has a mind of its own a single group of wayward bangs stray and cover her eyes and cheeks when she is talking, which can lead her astray in conversation, forgetting what she was talking about as she gently pulls the wayward hair up over her head. Her skin is slightly rough in texture and in contrast to the rest of her darker physical features is faintly lighter and slightly paler in color. This is caressed by rounded darker pink natural blush dimples that are pressed under her higher set cheekbones. One of the more noticeable cute features on her face is her eyes. One of the more noticeable alluring and striking features on her face is her eyes. They are closed and upturned set of irises (Upturned means that: takes the form of a classic almond shape, with a natural lift at the outer corner. Closed means: are less than one eyeball width apart.), with a Golden coloring and spotted with a light touch of icy grey just around the fringes of the iris. This seems to be a focus point when attracting the both sexes. Some people have described to her many times over in the past as “easy to look upon like soft shimmering moonlight pools”. When in conversation and her anger is physical showing her eyes will often not only flash like drawn daggers, but if her anger is not quelled in a short time they will glow a extended aura of palpable hatred by growing bigger displaying her contempt for the person she is speaking with. Kurai Kari-Shi has an unmistakable pixie-like nose that dropped daintily down from its peak. Kurai Kari-Shi lips are a mixture of cream and pink that surrounded her small mouth with near perfect alabaster teeth, which convey a proud and expressive pouting like smile or a contemptuous sneer. Her eyebrows and lashes are a thin black trim set above her eyes which are spectacular darker grey coloring. Kurai Kari-Shi has the same enchanting voice, that has been likened to honeyed velvet intermixed with a soft and sweet light summers rain can be refreshing to listen to. Kurai Kari-Shi will often not speak in the game, for she is an artist, not a politician. She can be seen often enough be heard singing and humming to herself when she is walking alone from one point to another. Kurai Kari-Shi is a petite figure, with a sturdily built frame very akin to a tree. She stands at a height of (sarcastically impressive) 5’0” similar to her own real height with a slightly curvy weight of 114lbs lbs. Her hips, waist and buttocks fit the description of a pear shaped curvature built in all the right places. Her natural walk can be seen as a refined and a fluid sway while moving at a normal pace. She has been cursed with a rather small size bust of 32-B. Despite her natural cuteness and some redeeming features she is very insecure about her own appearance and any pervy comments will result in a swift and violent punch to the sternum by her. Kurai Kari-Shi takes time every day to continue her workout routine despite her relatives not being present. She can often be seen after her work out routine with her exceptional, intermediate, carved muscular structure as having a polished glisten of sweat drops in the artificial light. Her body exudes liquid perfection in both motion and beauty. Kurai Kari-Shi fluid movements on the battle field are able to bring swift death with the slightest flick of her lithe limbs to lesser opponents. Her skill in the arts of combat bears all the hallmarks of true genius. Kurai Kari-Shi is deadly grace embodied; her movement’s hypnotic, sensual and spellbinding. When out upon the battlefield Kurai Kari-Shi, graces it with an icy stare and calculating smirk upon her face as she searches for the unusual prey. Kurai Kari-Shi started out like all newcomers in a set of basic brick red with black cloth armor made from cheap fabric. This is full sleeved upper torso suit similar to a corset showing her midriff, and pants and boots are made of the same material as well. She wears also a heavier open buttoned black jacket making it much easier when the jacket is open and loose to not hinder her physical ability in combat. She favors long-sleeved dresses cut in exotic southern style to modestly conceal much of her body. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] Rumi and to a lesser extent Kurai Kari-Shi (the persona) she made on Eldar Tales displays two distinct sides to her personality. One side of the coin, the one she most often shows is cynical, emotionally detached and bordering on the indifferent towards anyone she does not know or wish to know. She has been the patient, calm, quite girl that spends her time with a nose in the book or was working hard to impress her uncle and father as a skilled martial artist. She has been called by her sisters as beauty that just doesn’t give a damn, though that is far from the truth that they knew. Her facial expressions seem to board between expressionless tombstone stare and small grin of happiness that is shown very rarely. It doesn’t help that her aura can come across as harsh, bold and to the point. Her voice is nearly as devoid of emotion since she speaks with a monotone pitch only showing emotion when someone actively make a pervy comment towards her or is overbearing in affection. Even in her real life she was dragged into crazy sisterly adventures which often were comedic in nature as they were trying to set her up with various girls or boys on dates. She could only try desperately to salvage her dignity and later when her and her sisters were alone she would display her anger toward them. It doesn't help that Rumi has a bad habit of not being able to take people seriously sometimes particularly when they express any sort of interest in her she tends to brush them off. It’s easier for her to pretend that people are just being insincere about her most of the time. Rumi has a difficulty in life of expressing feminine and masculine emotions. She truly just does seem to care one way or another when making a point, though this has been a source of embarrassment in her social life. Despite her outbursts when angered she can be surprisingly, however, she can be pretty patient. It’s just that when her patience finally runs thin that she has a danger of losing her temper, going against that patient personality and letting her thoughts and emotions get ahead of her. Rumi has become often self-sacrificing and this could be considered her greatest strength or weakness, as she has a penchant for putting the wants and needs of others before her own wants and needs. Rumi dislikes it when people put themselves on the line for her, no matter how inevitable it is. Her psychological appetites for perfection can be seen at times as a hard taskmaster, demanding excellence from herself. However this is just a reflection of her own actions, her own approach to defend others that can’t defend themselves and protect those she holds most dear to her. The other side of the coin is more geared towards her gentle and nurturing side, almost maternal especially with children. She does like kids, regardless of the fact that she’s never had any herself. Rumi does have a softer more mellow side to her personality that can be brought out threw actions she deems honorable or saving her life. When she does find those that she deems friends she will suddenly become talkative and sweet and cute. If they have known her long enough there will be buttons that seem to appear over her head in a metaphorical sense that they can push to get Rumi to unload her mental weight as well. Love is not unknown to her for she loved once in high school and it ended badly so anyone who is willing to put themselves threw that pain will earn a lifelong partner and or friend. She describes herself as a cold winter’s night safe under a blanket of virgin white snow waiting for her friend or lover to warm her heart and hearth, defrosting it slowly over time to make her complete. This is her mental armor not so much to keep people at a distance, but rather to distance herself from being hurt. She hates to see others in unnecessary pain and anguish both mental and physical. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] Rumi Ichikawa was born on a very, cool, late fall night, on September the 22nd 2000, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky to James Ichikawa an American war veteran and Kanade Tachibana a fellow war veteran. She was the last of three sisters to be born. James and Kanade had agreed upon the name of Rumi Sakura Penter which means “Beauty in the current/flow water marketplace.” Rumi spent most of her childhood as a quite shy little girl when compared to her sisters. When she was with her parents she sat there and listened only speaking back in a simple phrase of “Yes sir or understood”. They each had a distinct way of getting trough to her whether it was her father’s way of acclimating her to the ideals of selflessness and courage from his old war stories. Or her mother’s history lessons and asking her daughter of her opinion and then grading her afterwards, she did add her own experiences in life to teachings as well as her Shinto heritage and religious practice. Rumi lived a very rich and educated childhood from life experiences that her parents taught her. Rumi could be seen with either parent strolling through the upscale shopping districts or museum gardens, recanting the various adventures that either parent had when they were younger. The father would talk more about his own tales of heroics which included his own and that of other military legends. Her mother could be heard talking to her about her overbearing father and her snobbish family lifestyle. Rumi listened with a hunger and a never ending supply of curious questions and comments. Though Rumi had conscientiously committed every morsel of information to memory, she would be thinking about how her life would be and who she would emulate more her mom or dad. She keenly made sure to listen to both parents equally well and learnt from them as best as she could. In Rumi‘s child's like mind she reasoned to a short conclusion (the more she listened and pay attention to them both the more they would spend time with her, the more happy they would be). This did work in theory, most of the time they had to stop and question her to see if she was indeed listening to them and she would give her different answer in kind to her father “in a short answer” and her mother in a more “elaborate answer." When Rumi was in her early teens her father taught her the basic fundamentals of the intensive martial arts training that he received in during his days in the military along with the basic rituals and odd prayers that he knew. James wasn't an ignorant man he could see that his daughter was a bit smaller and somewhat heftier. When compared to other males and even some of the females. So he took upon himself to use his daughter’s intellect and strength in her aggressive maneuvers and her fiery spirit. This was her driving goal to make her father proud through her training. Her mother had had given Rumi a family Tanto dagger which was named “Swarga iku lawang” or “Heaven Gate” roughly translated. Kanade allowed James to teach her his military style of combat. Kanade when she had the time would teach Rumi a more traditional and ancient way of combat which was called Kuden (A all female Japanese Tantojutsu is based on "updated" and "modernized" kodachi techniques.) as well. Kanade allowed Rumi the honor of receiving it one day if she could take it from Kanade’s hand. At the age of 12 Rumi was starting to develop certain emotions and inclinations that she partially understood from her mother’s intimate talks with her daughter about her changing body into young womanhood. Among these were her new found early sexual feelings towards girls her own age. Semi-common among girls her age at the time she was curious about the inner feelings she had for one of her school friends which turned out to be mutual, her name Delilah. Delilah and Rumi spent a lot of time together during elementary and high school in deep friendship and somewhat in love with each other. That did not last however as they soon broke up around sophomore year of high school due to conflicting issues. It was then that Rumi began to become more withdrawn and turned to video games and reading manga books to fill the gaps in her life. Though her two sisters did try their best to get Rumi out in the social scene, it never worked out much. Rumi spent some time on a daily basis cleaning the house when she had gotten home from school and was quite good at it. The house almost never had a speck of dust or polish surface. As the years grew on in her life from mid teens to eighteen she continued much in the same way as she had been. It wasn’t until the advent of a new MMORPG called Elder Tale and her sisters insistent prodding that Rumi finally joined them both in playing this new phenomenon. Rumi was instantly hooked as she found the game world fascinating. When she had the free time between college and becoming history major and dealing with her oldest sisters husband abuse problems she felt relaxed in this social network game world. At first she studied the choices to make for her character in the world. She finally settled on the Monk class as it suited her taste in combat and then chose Blacksmith to help out any new adventures later on with weapons. Housekeeper was chosen accidently due to her sister’s interruption. Though she was mad at the choice she made the best of it as it suited her inner personality to make a home and hearth balanced and comfortable when people came to it. As with her two sisters she herself became trapped inside the world of Eldar Tales at midnight on 2018. She was up late along with her two sisters eagerly awaiting this new expansion pack from Novasphere Pioneers. What happened next was anyone’s guess. Rumi awoke with a haze in her vision and pounding headache. She was in the main town of Akihabara. She now seeks to figure out why this happened, but more so figure out how to survive in this new and strange land.
