[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]SOLAIRE [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Delbert Day [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 17 [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Heterosexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: Kanbara Akihito, KYOUKAI NO KANATA [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: Sven [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"] Delbert as a human being, is a dirty blonde with a dainty frame, pale and freckled skin, standing at a less-than-impressive 5'7". The innocent look his wide, hazel, tear-drop eyes make him an easy target for big bullies. Delbert normally sports sweater-vests and khakis in summer colours, he remains comfortable in most climates. Where some people walk with a spring in their step, Delbert strolls slowly and dreamily. It seems as if where he's going is somewhere he's procrastinating to be. He'd rather lie in the grass and gaze into the sky. There's one particular stereotype that he seems to fit based on his appearance. However, this is next to nothing like his game character. Inspired by his adoration for a character from a completely different game, Delbert built his Elder Tale character as a tribute to what he believes to be one of few people that share his solar obsession. His character is 6' tall golden blonde with a swimmer's physique. His character's chain-mail armour glistens majestically in the daylight, to compliment his red-feathered bucket-helm, and bright-white, sun-crested guild tabard. In game, his character is almost never seen with his helmet off, and is sometimes even found eating and sleeping with it on. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] Delbert spends his life balancing his time with his friends with his time alone. He loves to go out, meet people, and hang out with his friends; but also like to rest peacefully on the grassy knolls. He'll lose himself in thought; exploring his thoughts and wonders as he watches the mid-day sky, occasionally squinting at the sun. Delbert's attention to detail is what makes the beauty of nature so entertaining to him. The rippling of the grass in the wind, the strong and static nature of nearby stones, the varying textures of dirt; and most of all, the magnificent warmth, and brilliant glow of the Sun. Delbert is quite perspective by literal means, but has very limited foresight; as his gut is his guide, and his feelings are his compass. Delbert is also a compassionate creature, often willing to help the needy for the sake of generosity. He's also a sucker for sad stories, and even feels affection for some of the newly intelligent NPCs. Normally, Delbert would avoid violence of all and any kind; his scrawny stature is a terrible disadvantage in a brawl. Although, after the mysterious event, Delbert is more regularly tempted to hack someone to bits, now that he brandishes a sword, and stands nearly a foot taller. (Extravert(1%) Sensing(38%) Feeling(88%) Perceiving(11)%) [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] Delbert had an interesting childhood. His parents would often have to swat him, reminding him not to look at the sun, or his eyes would 'shrivel up like raisins.' Concerned, his parents had him sent to a child psychiatrist to check if he was, in fact, as healthy as he seemed. It was only two visits, but he was unofficially diagnosed as a 'Heliophiliac,' a person attracted to sunlight. An attraction to brightness and warmth was considered perfectly healthy for any human being; and his curiosity was to be expected in his youth. Though he had no problem with weight gain, Delbert was far from muscular. His life as a scrawny kid meant he was easy to pick on, and it wasn't until high school that he'd seen any true peace from bullies and jocks. Delbert managed to keep up in his studies, but struggled in history class. He could never remember dates, but could easily remember the circumstances that caused, and catalyzed important events. Delbert has had plenty of experience with feelings for girls, but so far, his longest relationships have only been a matter of months. Most girls didn't appreciate how much he valued his balancing his outings with his alone time. Come high-school, one of Delbert's friends convinced him to start a video-game hobby. It was an interesting concept. Delbert could be alone in his home, but still chatting with, and helping people. The ability to turn his computer off at any time he felt the need was a comforting concept. One day, he'd played a game that was famous for its ability to frustrate players. The appeal was in the novelty of the challenge to beat such a frustrating game. Of course, it seemed neigh impossible, until he met a certain NPC that was warmhearted, gently spoken, and willing to lend his blade to anyone with goals similar to his. This NPC was designed to represent the very spirit of online Co-Op, and Delbert fell in love with the idea. This character was quite literally obsessed with staring directly at the sun; a feat accomplished solely through his ability to heal his body, as well as his partial immortality. With his own occasional desire to gaze upon the radiant glory of the magnificent star, Delbert connected with this character on a deeply intimate level. Delbert even emulated him in other games to express his admiration. Using the Cleric's Martyr Spear to mimic his ability to throw raw sunlight energy as a weapon. Just to emulate the symbols that his favourite character wore, he bribed low level players to form a guild, then leave it after it was made. Now Delbert has his very own one-man guild, "Jolly Cooperation." He used his Artisan skill to paint his Sun-like guild emblem on his tabard, and shield solely for the added authenticity. Of course, looking like his favourite character simply wasn't enough; Delbert even became a part of Elder Tale's MMORPG-RP community. He'd use the chat system to role-play his character with other like-minded players. After the strange event that absorbed him in to the world of Elder Tale, Delbert had realized that he had now become the very character he admired so greatly. As a role-player, Delbert felt compelled to fill the shoes he now stood in. He vowed to himself that he would do his best to spread the lesson he had learned: [attr="class","h3"]Extra |

This spell takes three seconds to cast and causes a spear of light to appear in the air above the cleric. After the spear is ready, the cleric points at a target. The spear will promptly head towards the target's position at a high velocity and strike the opponent with light-elemental damage. While this skill has a decently long range, it becomes naturally easier to dodge the farther away the opponent is. [attr="class","skill"]Carving: Level 1 Skill Toggle skill. Artisans have a certain affinity with carving stone, making their normal artistic talents not to be underestimated in battle. Artisans deal 20% more damage to Rock-type monsters. They can also ignore defense buffs on Rock-type monsters. Artisans can spend their time in a thread creating artwork. For every post they make in the thread, the Artwork Quality increases by 1. After the thread has been completed, the Artisan may post in the claim thread and request an Artisan item as a reward. The Artisan item can be sold to the NPC Shop for a Gold value equal to its Artwork Quality x 10.
