[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]SHEPARD DAGON [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Derek Shepard [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 19 [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Heterosexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: Satoru Kamio, GINGITSUNE [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: Kayrus Derek [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"] Shepard is quite tall, pale skin, grey eyes and fit shape whiout any muscles; unkempt and stuffed dark-blue hair and a long scar in his shoulder that's usually hidden are the things that mostly describe Shepard particularities in what's psysical appearence. As for clothing, in a daily basis, he wears a black set of gabardine, shirt, pants and shoes, going as well dressed as he can get, whiout being too formal, trying to go as stealthed as he can, for he don't like to draw the attention unnecessarily. As a follower of the Shinto religion, something unusual in England, he wears a silver necklace with a wolf-like form and white diamond eyes which represents the sky, and a tempered steel belt bucle with a fox-like form inlaid with jade eyes as a representation of the earth, proven these to be his most jelously guarded items. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] Like an almost impenetrable cuirass, his trust is hard to earn, he is midly traumatized with the relations he had in the past, he treats everyone mistrustfully and keeping some distance, remaining in silence most the time, trying to remain emotionless and rational. Some say that Shepard's patience can't be exhausted, but there is limits depending the person and how well they get along. Shepard looks like an unconcerned observer, but is in his nature to help as much as he can for the good and well-being of those around. Once someone earns his trust, everything changes, and for him, the protection of that new friend becames priority, stills unlikely to listen him sharing his feelings, but loose his personality in a moderate way and will surely try to keep those who mean something for him happy. Shepard loves nature and everything it can provide, every living being, every plant, animal or insect has a great value and killing never is his first choise. This is the reason why he hate those who act careless with the enviroment and every life form, yet he approves self-defense and only hunts to survive, thanking nature for what he took. Being stuck in Elder Tale did not make any change in him. As a Shaman, he consider the spirits of nature, or Kami, as his guide, following the path they saved for him and helping those in need. There are several values he adapted, but the foremost ones are honor, respect for life and death, courage, passivity and truth. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] Born in Yorkshire, England, Shepard was under his grandparents until the age of five, learning about the stories of several "guardians", spirits of animals chosen by the gods to be their messegers, and the beutifulness of the nature that embraces us every day and yet we all forget. With his parents freed from their over-demanding jobs, he moved to London, where nature was nowhere and the big buildings covered everything his eye managed to see, the world changed so fast that he didnt understood, and so it began. With the Shinto temple now open, his family began to be harassed by many religious fanatics, making their lives harder and innecesarely dangerous. School was two blocks away from the temple, his home, so everyone knew what he was, and started to bully him as he was the only one with those beliefs. Not many dared to befriend him, those who did, with the following years, betrayed him just to became more popular or to avoid being bullied as well, others where beaten up and transferred to diferent schools. With the passing years he was left alone, even so he didn't abandoned the faith he had in the teachings of his grandparents and the respect learned of the lessons of his religion; he did not fight, but adapted, he became cold, emotionless, distrustful, learned to hear so he can use words over the fists, learned about it's enviroment so he can scape when problems reached him and concluded that being alone was better. During that time Shepard began to refuge himself in videogames, avoiding getting out the house and relating with other people physically, staying out of troubles that way. He never hated anyone, he understood that those who abandoned him had a reason, also he understood that those who pursue him were blinded in ignorance, and he acquired feats and skills from those learnings, things that kept him well for some time. Yet over every other thing he learned to protect what mattered to him. After his graduation Shepard left his guard drop when leaving the school, the joy of leaving that place finally was overwhelming, but he didn't expected what was about to come, as one of those kids saw him distracted and threw a stone right to his head, knocking him unconcious and causing him a lot. Two months in coma felt like an eternal dream, in which he was accompanied by a cub of wolf and a cub of fox, showing the light in the dark, cleansing the hidden hatred over that time. When he woke up, realized he had a necklace and a belt bucle he didn't had before, and so, his friends getting into them. Shepard can't recall if it was a dream, but keeps those objects always with him. When his family realized he was awake, received him with an extraordinary present, a copy of Elder Tale, a game he wanted long ago. [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"] While in danger or moments of extreme emotion, the relics he has works as a peacemaker for him, keeping him steady as long as he hold them with him. Shepard is Ambidextrous, yet he tend to use his right hand more. |

Forms either a stationary barrier or a barrier around a target that continues to exist until the "energy" of the barrier expires. Energy will decrease slowly over time and decrease from damage taken. [attr="class","skill"] Summon Shikigami : The Shaman calls forth a shikigami, a humanoid familiar spirit, in a solid form. It is usually used in a support role, with tasks ranging from off-tanking to scouts to support DPS. There is a wide range of shikigami that a Shaman can summon, and they last for 5 minutes. In the original game, shikigami are treated as bonus content for players, with little to no practical use. However, after the Catastrophe, shikigami now share the same sensations with their masters, allowing shikigami to serve reconnaissance roles in battle. Of course, there are shikigami that well-loved by many as mascots. [attr="class","skill"] Barrier Channel : Allows for the user to channel energy to any barrier that uses an energy reserve. Energy is transferred in the form of mana and the target barrier must be owned by the user or a party/guild member. [attr="class","skill"] Prayer of Recovery : A Shamai's unique healing magic skill. Has a low healing rate per cast, but has a short cast time and cooldown. When cast, bright blue magatama jewels surround the target and the sound of small bells can be heard. Is often called "Mini-heal" by many, and can be used as a form of encouragement to others. In the post-Catastrophe world, the sound of bells this skill makes are often interpreted as "greetings or prayers of a Shaman wishing for a safe return". [attr="class","skill"] Demon's Eye : This skill when activated will slightly increases accuracy rate of the user's weapons. It also causes the weapon to be immune to hit spirit-type mobs whom normally nullify incoming physical damage. Of course, a successful hit requires an active attack towards a desired foe regardless. There was one time when the developers received e-mails saying that "I've used the Demon's Eye and I still keep on missing on ghost mobs!" among others. For this reason, several balance changes were implemented. When used, this skill adds a blue radiance on one's eyes, a rather scary sight post-Catastrophe. [attr="class","skill"]Transmutation: Alchemists are able to use Magitech in battle without any penalties based on their main class. Also a toggle skill. Through their abilities in creating efficient Magitech, all costs for using Magitech are halved for the Alchemist. Their research also give them an advantage in fighting Artificial Life and deal an additional 10% damage. [attr="class","skill"] Battle Perception : Toggle skill. Battle perception allows the Pathfinder to notice nearby monsters more easily by displaying their names and levels above their heads. It allows the Pathfinder to detect monsters about 3 meters further than a normal character, and is most useful for preventing ambushes. [attr="class","skill"] Call of Home: A skill learnable by any class. Upon use, it will teleport the character back to the character's 'home city.' This is designated by using the skill while in the city of question. It has a cooldown time of one hour per use. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Armor: Starter Chainmail: A basic set of chainmail armor made from cheap iron. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. [attr="class","skill"]Left Hand: N/A [attr="class","skill"]Right Hand: Windsor Antiqua Staff: Lv5 two-handed staff. A wooden staff decorated with a dull and unrefined crystal at its tip. It is a mass-produced generic weapon created by the People of the Land, and so is a little more expensive to buy than if one were to normally craft a similar-quality weapon. It is typically used to channel magic, but can also be used to whack people on the side of the head. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can. Mana Fragment x2: Condensed and crystallized mana extracted from an individual who was performing a magic-based skill at the time. It is a fragile crystal that melts upon contact with the body and is said to be a possible fuel supply. Sarum Map 2 - A torn piece of an old map. It seems to emit a weak magnetic energy due to the presence of mana within the cloth, magnetizing itself to other map fragments. Maybe if you combine these fragments together, something might happen? Pactmaker Emblem: A mysterious emblem signifying mutual peace between Caesar's army and the Druids. You aren't sure of its potential yet, but perhaps should you reach Stonehenge again at a time of need... Lucan's Hermetic Staff: Lv20 two-handed staff. A weapon made from enchanted wood and engraved with mystical symbols. It seems to possess some untapped potential that can be awakened by performing RP Lore Missions. Lucan's Hermetic Sword: Lv20 one-handed sword. A blade inscribed with ancient symbols. It seems to possess some untapped potential that can be awakened by performing RP Lore Missions. Spirit of Nature: Lv10 accessory. Cannot be reforged or enchanted. It is a teardrop-shaped necklace that resonates with the power of nature. The character who equips this weapon may use the skill [Tongue of Nature] even if it is not available in their skill list. |
