That meant black hair, broad-shouldered athletic build, and fair skinned. While he may have embellished a bit, the biggest changes between himself and his avatar are simply the traits that come with being a wolf-hair. The features closely resemble that of a gray wolf, as his ears are shorter but come to a point. Despite their smaller size in comparison to other wolf-hair’s, they show a wide range of emotions based upon how Elroy is feeling at the time and can be seen a majority of the time. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]Elroy has a rather simple, blunt personality that has been known to save his bacon as well as condemn it. When confronted with opposition he finds unjust, he stands up against it. If he finds someone he dislikes for valid reasons, he has no qualms with making that apparent. In a way, one could represent his actions as looking through clear glass in the matter that Elroy won’t disguise any motive. Though many question the reasoning behind it he stands firm with the code of “be blunt and the world will be blunt with you,” ensuring that the friends he makes will be ones who stand alongside him while everyone else will know exactly where he stands. Beyond that basic outlook, Elroy is known to be happy-go-lucky with a strong work ethic and a strong will that helps him discern what he finds to be right. With all those it comes as no surprise that he prefers team settings where he has the chance to pull his own weight along with helping others who are struggling. This in no way pertains to his desire to lead, which in a majority of cases is next to nil, but rather his desire to be a good friend and teammate. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]Sighing, Elroy wiped off the growing amount of sweat on his forehead with the back of a well-worn gloved hand. He had recently graduated college a few months prior but with how the job market was he was having a hard time finding any solid position. Which was why he was currently back in his hometown working on cars in his uncle’s garage rather than out working in an office. After taking a moment to readjust his glove, Elroy hunched back over so he could get a better view on the break system of his current customer. It had hit him shortly after the first month of job searching that perhaps business hadn’t been the greatest choice, but what could you do by then? He already had his degree; it wasn’t like he could spend another four years of his life working in a different direction. Not to mention Elroy enjoyed conversing with people, not something he would be able to do if he picked up some secluded job. Maybe that was why he had enjoyed this position he had received from his aging uncle, Mathew Emain. Work hard, speak directly with your customers, and build up a reputation. It was the purest example of a small business he had ever seen. With a tug, the young man managed to yank the worn break pad free of the assembly. “If ya do that ya may damage the rest of the system,” he heard from a familiar voice. “Well speak of the devil,” Elroy joked, turning his head to the old man with a grin, “I was just thinking of how I deserve a raise for doing all your work lately.” Mathew grinned back, dropping a beer in his lap, “Hah, nice one. If I ever gave you a raise I’d make ya pay for all those lessons I gave ya when ya started. Ya know how many people would kill for a lesson from me?” Elroy just rolled his eyes as he cracked open the can, “Sure, just like how birds come to learn how to fly from you as well.” Raising their cans in a sort of salute, the two broke down into laughs. As the premiere tank of Elder Tale, the Guardian's signature equip is their large shield. Even so, it's rather bulky and takes some time to get used to for most players. As Shield Mastery progresses, the apparent weight of the shield decreases and its defense increases. [attr="class","skill"]Heatsink: Blacksmiths are able to wear chain armor without penalties if they are normally unable to wear chain armor. They are able to wear plate armor without penalties if they are normally able to wear chain armor but not plate armor. Also a toggle skill. Through their skills at working around a forge, blacksmiths have developed a slight tolerance toward heat. They take reduced damage of 10% from fire-based attacks. [attr="class","skill"]Outrage: In times of desperation, the Berserker's physical abilities start to shine. When the Berserker's HP falls below 25%, their damage output increases by 5%. When the Berserker's HP falls below 10%, their damage output increases by 10% instead. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Armor: Starter Platemail: A basic set of plate armor made from cheap iron. They are not really too protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. [attr="class","skill"]Left Hand: Starter Great Shield: A starter great shield designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap iron. It is well-balanced and easy to use but doesn’t really feel too sturdy. Its distinctively huge size allows for good protection if somewhat unwieldy. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can. [attr="class","skill"]Right Hand: Starter Spear: A starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap iron and wood. It is well-balanced and easy to use but doesn’t hit particularly hard at all. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can.
