Equipped: Charcoal Yoroi with Pitch-black Yukata | Stick from the roadside (2H) - :: - Skill: --- The wind blew gently against the flower fields of Savill. Sunlight gently kissed the brightly colored blossoms which looked up to the sky. Creatures of the Greatwood lurked behind the trees which lined the sides of the grove and beneath the overgrown shrubs and bushes of the fields. The sun was on its zenith and it sat triumphantly beyond the clouds, high in the sky beyond the reach of man or beast. The wide blue sky was to bear witness to a great battle in Savill Flower Grove.
The landers murmured against themselves once they noticed two figures in the middle of the flower fields. One of those figures was that of a wolf-hair samurai, her black hair swayed with the wind. Her wolf ears twitched and pointed towards her opponent while her wolf tail was kept as low as possible. Golden eyes scanned the immediate area and when they found no threat, they rested upon the red-haired fox tail who was her challenger that day. Armed with the sturdiest of weapons, a majestically shaped branch from one of the trees of the Greatwood, the wolf-hair held it to her left side as if it was still sheathed.
The girl’s own weapon, a nagamaki, had been stored away in her inventory. She did not need it for the fight, no. The single branch that she wielded, something that could easily be mistaken for firewood, was enough to defeat her enemy. And so with that thought in mind, Caerbannog put her right foot forward while she eyed her target, the fox-tail named Bunji. She was at the ready and no man, woman, beast or god could stop her from cutting him down with her recently-acquired yet possibly-trusty stick.

He shut his eyes allowing his crimson locks to dance with the flow of the wind, his fox like ears perked up high as they caught the surrounding sound of those who watched from afar, the Landers had chosen to come witness the spectacle. A battle to end all battles! Two samurai had chosen to face off here today, under the midday sun! Bunji stood at the ready his tail swaying side to side with anticipation, and his ears perked up entirely as he took the hilt of his makeshift blade. Its origins coming from the majestic tree of the surrounding forest, he had carbed in a makeshift edge onto the branch making it into a sword, well something that resembled a sword. He would twirl it in his hand skillfully as he took a stance, "Are you ready wolf?" he asked from a far his eyes focusing on his mark, "I will strike you down here today, under the brilliant sun of the midday!" he declared as he took his sword swinging it across the air.
He would then dash towards the girl holding his sword at the side, "Come now samurai!!! Let us fight!" he yelled out as he approached her closing the distance between them, but just as Bunji was about to approach he found himself tripping over a thick root, and falling face first into the ground slamming his face pretty hard. The Landers watched quietly as they whispered amongst themselves, chuckles escaping them quickly Bunji jumped up to his feet spitting out a mouthful of dirt "DISTRACTION!" he called out swinging his sword horizontally at Caerbannog.

Equipped: Charcoal Yoroi with Pitch-black Yukata | Stick from the roadside (2H) - :: - Skill: Iaido Caerbannog pulled her wolf ears back as soon as her opponent began his remarks. She merely squinted at him; her eyes narrowed to slits as if she mocked his every word and would rather hear none of it. The bystanders watched the curious sight and wondered if they should intervene, but the pure majesty of the weapons which both samurais wielded spoke of their resolve. By and by, more landers gathered to watch that duel; most of them were taking a break from work to eat lunch, while others simply wanted to poke their faces into other people’s business.
But the wolf-hair did not care for any of them. Her eyes were on her opponent who had just finished his statements. Bunji soon moved in and tried to distract her by pretending to fall. He was really convincing too. Much convince. However Caerbannog did not back away or try to help him up; she held her ground. The fox tail soon stood up and attacked her to which the wolf hair responded with an attack of her own. She drew her trusty new sword-stick which triggered her passive skill Iaido.
Depending on the strength of her attack, she could either push him back or just clash swords with the other samurai. Either way, she would try to lock her sword with his and pull it to her right side. Caerbannog would then step into Bunji’s sword range knowingly and put her face up to his chin, and with one great heave she would try to hit his little fox tail nose with her resilient forehead. Of course, the plan could get awry at any point, and she’d have to deal with his counter then.

The wooden edges of their makeshift sword would clash, a temporary power struggle ensued but soon enough Bunji found himself being pushed to the side well his blade being guided away from the girl, she would step into his comfort zone finding herself well within striking range. His eyes widened for a moment unable to react in time he found himself feeling the strong forehead of the girl slam against his nose, Bunji shut his eyes as he stumbled away in a sloppy manner managing to stop himself from falling back entirely. The crowd would gasp, and a few claps were heard; it seemed they were impressed with the showmanship the way the tow exchanged so quickly, and pretty much in the blink of an eye the first strike had been delivered. Looking to avenge for that, Bunji would recover quickly wiping the water tears from his eyes that would build up after such a strike, good thing his eyesight wasn't so horrible, he would again take the offensive. The fox tail samurai moved towards the girl aiming to throw her off again, this time with more speed behind the attacks...
Bunji would bring his sword from left to right with a horizontal swing at first it looked like he had dedicated his body into the slash but he purposely came up short the sword simply slicing the air, never meant to reach the girl. Bending his elbows at the end of the slash he would step forward, and in a quick straight motion extend his arms thrusting the stick forward towards the girls torso. The slash was a distraction to make her react to something that was not real, while this was his true intention if the attack did manage to land, she would feel simply as if she had been punched in the stomach. This was after all a practice battle, so the tip of his wooden sword was not sharp enough to pierce it would just deliver some serious blunt damage to the girls stomach if it manage to hit its mark.

Equipped: Charcoal Yoroi with Pitch-black Yukata | Stick from the roadside (2H) - :: - Skill: Zantetsuken She felt her forehead connect with its target: the fox tail’s pretty little nose. Though triumphant with her plan, she was not overconfident. The samurai moved back as soon as she hit Bunji and she saw him stumble away momentarily. But as expected, he took that hit like a tank and the other samurai was soon back on his offensive. He was clearly not going to take that lying down; it was a fight that the wolf-hair was hoping for.
It reminded the girl of that one time in another MMORPG when she fought with a fellow summoner. Demonoid was the other player’s name, and hers was Dindeen. They were of the same class but belonged to warring factions. One day they came face to face in the Isle of Revelation, a little way off the safe zone and far from the closest respawn area. Since the Isle was an open-kill map, their Flags of War were both on. The summoners crossed paths on a quest area and for a short while, they stared at each other. Demonoid drew first blood by sending in his summon to attack Kyuu’s summoner. She was, however, using an offensive healer build and with just one tick of her Plague of Mending, she was back to full health. The skill was a Heal Over Time spell in addition to being an Area of Effect one, and so even her Hellion was healed of its damage from Demonoid’s poison.
Her opponent had fewer healing spells, and while Kyuu had lesser damage. Soon a crowd of both League and Empire players gathered to watch the two as they exchanged blows, poison casts, silences and stuns. The fight dragged on for a whole hour. Yes, a whole hour. Neither fell until some idiot walked in, stunned Demonoid who was low in health and Kyuu’s damage over time promptly killed him off. Unfortunately, Demonoid had already expended his Resurrection skill, something that made summoners rather overpowered compared to others. His defeat did not please Kyuu back then for she felt it unfair due to the interference of another player. Not his death but the fight that went on for an hour- that was the one thing which she remembered him by.
And so in Elder Tale, Caerbannog searched for a similar sense of fulfillment. Winning or losing did not matter; the end of the journey was not the goal. As Bunji swung his sword at her again, Caerbannog put up her own weapon to counter it but their sticks never clashed. Feint?! Before she could adjust to the real attack, Bunji’s makeshift sword hit the wolf-hair right on the torso. Caerbannog staggered backwards, not used to being attacked directly by a fellow adventurer. It felt different from being attacked by mobs... it... it... made her feel alive!
The samurai’s staggered movements ended when she planted her left foot firmly on the ground. She held her stick with two hands and grasped it tightly, and then she looked up at Bunji, her golden eyes shining. She bared her fangs at him as her mouth widened to a toothy grin. Oho- she was going to mess him up. Caerbannog’s elaborately twisted branch of a sword glowed a bright red colour as she swung it towards Bunji. She was neither within striking or slashing distance, but her aim was not to cut him down, no. The wolf-hair slashed the ground in front of her from her right towards her left; her skill [Zantetsuken] cut up the ground and created a massive ditch between herself and the samurai. She then moved her stick to her left side as if it was sheathed again; the wolf-hair stayed on her side of the battlefield while she waited for the fox tail’s next move.

It landed flush he felt the force behind his attack transfer onto the torso of the girl as it connected he smirked watching her as she staggered back trying to regain herself, he would follow up attempting to finish her off but this was not a battle to the death. It was a battle between samurai, two warriors who followed the same path; in the end to its very core this was practice, he would watch with intense red eyes locking them with the girls golden orbs when she looked up at him once she recovered. She would give him a wide grin her fangs bearing themselves, the Fox Tail would chuckle as he grinned back at the girl keeping his eyes focused on the girl, the tow remained still for the most part when suddenly the girl's sword would glow red. Bunji would brace himself ready for whatever she had planned, keeping a firm stance he had his sword at the ready the girl would swing and his body would instinctively tense up feeling himself ready to react.
Yet, instead of feeling the girls powered up attacked connect with him all he felt was the ground shatter in front of him as it caved into itself he would watched with wide eyes as a few specs of dirt hitting his face he would stand there expecting something to follow up, but instead nothing happened. All he knew was that the girl tore open the ground in front of her, he would smirk resting his stick sword on his shoulder "Alright then!" he said as he bent his knees he ran across the length of the massive ditch moving around to the narrow part of it where he would kick off the ground to hop over successfully. Once he landed on the girls side there was a good ten feet between them, but Bunji would let out a deep battle cry as his body suddenly ignited into a fury of wild bolts of electrical energy that coated him from top to bottom. He would stand there holding his sword to his side staring at the girl his wild red eyes focusing on her petite figure, she was fun!
Charging forward with the boost of speed he covered ground pretty fast until he was within reach he would swinging his katana horizontally at the girl while calling out the name of the technique "Denkosekka!" his wooden sword surged with electrical energy aiming to conduct it onto the girls body on the point of impact.

Equipped: Charcoal Yoroi with Pitch-black Yukata | Stick from the roadside (2H) Skill: Gonosen | Shunsen | Tsurugibunshin Bunji merely smirked and leapt over the narrow part of the ditch. A samurai through and through without a doubt. Despite it being a practice fight rather than a duel to the death, Caerbannog was on her toes and would return the fox tail’s attack as if they were at war. He yelled out his skill, something that made the wolf-hair tilt her head to one side as her wolf ears twitched.
No matter; she drew her sword to intercept his but not with a normal draw or attack. She used [Gonosen] to clash against his weapon and at that, Caerbannog pushed forward with her counter. The samurai moved her weapon to her right side in an attempt to take Bunji’s sword with it, and once he was open even just by a little bit, Caerbannog slashed at him horizontally by chaining [Shunsen]. The skill’s vacuum wave would hopefully prevent a counter from the fox tail.
Caerbannog then put her sword up in front of herself in an offensive stance as she used a third chain [Tsurugibunshin] after which any attack that she would do will create an after image. It was the first time that she would ever use that skill and she hoped that their duel would be sufficient for training it. Unlike most of her skills which were either instant or heavily assisted by the system of Elder Tale, Tsurugibunshin’s effectiveness depended largely on the samurai’s own moves.

To say it was a brilliant display would not even begin to explain what was being witnessed right now, the sparks shot out in all directions the thick bolts of lightning lashing out in all the surroundings piercing the ground, and scarring the fields of flowers around them. Yet, Bunji had stepped right into a trap his blade would be guided away, the electrical energy dispersing from his body as he widened his red eyes. His stick would be thrown aside the weapon disarmed from his hand, then from nowhere he would be sucked in by a violent vacuum of air that damaged him causing him to flinch and grunt as the element whipped at his body. He was trapped in a vacuum, when it ended he would fall to his knees the afterimage the girl had used would go unnoticed as the red haired samurai would struggle a bit to push himself up to his feet. "G--gah...wow..." he would say stumbling to the side feeling a bit dazed, and worn out from the sudden attack.
Reaching down for his wooden sword he would hold it up to his side turning his attention to face the girl his red eyes focusing on her...only to find the image fade? He blinked a few times unsure as to what he was staring at, all he knew was that she would suddenly flicker out of view he blinked a few times taking a stance as he stood there waiting for the girl to come at him. He would keep his leg wide, his hands firmly gripping the handle of his makeshift sword those big red eyes of his focusing on his surroundings wanting to see if he could watch the girl once she came at him. From the moment the battle started she had been countering his every attack, it was time for him to do the same.

Equipped: Charcoal Yoroi with Pitch-black Yukata | Stick from the roadside (2H) Skill: Tsurugibunshin - still in effect Due to the requirements of Tsurugibunshin, Caerbannog had to channel her mana around her body so that it would create an after image as she moved along. That also prevented her from using other Ace moves or any other skill. She watched Bunji’s form as he was thrown backward but the other samurai was soon back on his feet. He just stood there and waited for her to move in. Caerbannog knew that he could counter or even throw a long ranged attack her way, what with them being of the same class and all, but at that moment, her priority was to test Tsurugibunshin’s effectiveness in battle.
The wolf-hair moved in but she did not run on a straight line. Instead, she swayed from side to side to take advantage of the after images which her Ace move created. Left, right, further to her right... then she made a sudden dash to her left side and at the same time, she brought her sword-stick up to slash the fox tail’s torso from her right side. As for the attack itself, after images trailed along the sword’s path and the girl’s arm. Right before she got close to Bunji’s left side though, Caerbannog stopped the attack and instead flicked her right wrist so that her sword moved downward and forward. Her left hand still gripped the sword tightly so that it would be difficult to disarm her.
Caerbannog then flicked her wrist up suddenly towards the hilt of her opponent’s weapon. The idea was to pull his arms apart or to push the sword out of his hands and up into the air. The after images persisted after each move that the girl made and they were very much solid what with the effect of Tsurugibunshin. In essence, Caerbannog did two attacks with one move, all on the same direction which was upwards.

'Whats with the afterimages?!' he thought to himself as he saw the girl coming in her movements harder to follow thanks to the way she was moving with her afterimages he was having a hard time reading her movements, but either way he tried raising his katana overhead Bunji would watch the girl as she moved first she dashed to the left, then the right...the far right he followed her best he could. He was going to try to hit her as soon as she entered his strike range but he would not do so with a normal swing, no, she was using ace moves so he would do the same to her. When the girl came within reach he could see her body movements as hard as it was he could see that she was aiming to stirke him, meaning he would have a chance to hit her or completely miss. Either or he was not going to stand here like a statue waiting for her to land a strike on him, activating [Kabutowari] he would let the stick descent down rapidly towards the girl.
He was aiming to let the stick slam onto her body mainly aiming for her shoulder if the attack landed flush he would hopefully manage to damage her enough to intercept her movement, or if they both ended up hitting each other at the same time maybe it would result in them knocking each other away. Whatever the case Bunji was aiming to hit the girl, or try if she dodged he would be in trouble leaving himself fully exposed to a counter attack that could cost him this spar.

OOC: Pretty much hes trying to hit her when she hits him first, so before she even tries the disarm but she can still dodge/counter.

Equipped: Charcoal Yoroi with Pitch-black Yukata | Stick from the roadside (2H) Skill: Tsurugibunshin - end in this post Although their weapons were simply branches that had fallen off some unsuspecting trees. there was still the very real danger of getting injured. When the samurai moved into her opponent’s range, she knew that it was highly possible but she still pushed forward with her attack. It was all or nothing. If Bunji was quicker than her, then he could put a stop to her movement and possibly deal a critical blow too. Once she got into striking distance, Caerbannog slashed towards the foxtail to disarm him. However, he made a quick forward charge and threw a vertical slash at the wolf-hair.
Due to the momentum of her attack, Caerbannog was unable to dodge Bunji’s ace move. All she could attempt to do was to redirect the movement of her own sword. And that she did with much difficulty too. As the fox-tail’s weapon descended towards her, the wolf-hair’s trusty stick clashed with it followed by the tell-tale afterimages. Tsurugibunshin soon ticked away though and at the most inopportune moment too. Because of the downward force of Kabutowari and Elder Tale’s physics engine (curse you, gravity!), a small crack broke through the brittle wood of Caerbannog’s weapon. That crack grew larger until finally, her sword broke in half.
Bunji’s stick triumphed over the other samurai’s pitiful excuse for a training sword. Whatever was left of the attack damage which was not already absorbed by the poor little stick and Tsurugibunshin’s afterimages crashed right onto Caerbannog’s shoulder. It was strong enough to make the samurai kneel on one knee at least, at which point she put her dominant hand on Bunji’s sword as she looked up and glared at him.

WORDS 485 TAGS CAERBANNOG NOTES small notes | T he clash occurred for a moment his eyes would widen with surprise his wooden sword clashed with the girls, a power struggle would begin him pushing down on the girl, and her pushing upwards towards him. Then it happened, the girls sword would crack at the point of impact splitting his own weapon pushed all the way through continuing to descend rapidly downward with the rest of its powerful momentum until it was stopped not by any form of defense, but by the girls own body. He would feel it when it hit, his force being transferred into the girls body at the point of impact all his momentum that had gathered with his swing releasing the force into the girls body. He would let out a deep breath as he felt his sword push down on the girl forcing her to her knees, Bunji however was out of breath his chest would rise with every inhale he took, his jaw dropped leaving his mouth open as continued to take in quick gasps of air filling his stinging lungs. Pulling away from the girl was not an option, because before he even had the chance to perform such an action her hand would come up to rest on the surface of his wooden sword. He would stare at her his red orbs locking with her glare, the male would smile at her his eyes softening no longer filled with the intense focus of a warrior clashing in a high paced battle. Instead he chuckled at her, much more carefree how he was the first time they met that day she taught him how to make those berry, and honey treats. The tense grip his hands held on the swords handle would relax as he completely released it leaving the sword in her hands instead, stepping back he would allow himself to drop to the ground his rear firmly landing in place, the grass proving little cushion. The fox tails tail swayed side to side, and his ears twitched as he raised a hand towards the fellow samurai giving her a wave; "You were kicking my ass" he said finally his voice breaking the silence. "Ugh...I know you don't talk much, but, I want you to know. You're one hell of a samurai, and if I had missed that strike...I'd be the one on my knees" he said to her as he pushed himself up to stand upright. Approaching the girl he held his right hand out for her, his head motioning for her to take it "Come on CC, I say we go dip our faces in the nearest river, gulp some water, and relax with the late evening breeze to cool these aching muscles" he offered to the girl giving her another chuckle to accompany his soft smile. He had not even realized he shot her with that nickname out of nowhere... |

Equipped: Charcoal Yoroi with Pitch-black Yukata | Stick from the roadside (2H) Her mind was still in fight mode even though her sword was broken in half, and she would have continued the duel too if Bunji had not declared the fight over. At that, her golden eyes flickered to a less vicious color. Still of the same hue, but the fire in it was gone. It would take a while before the wolf features disappeared but overall she seemed more relaxed than earlier. On the sidelines, the landers gave out a loud cheer for the foxtail and soon after that, they went back to their chores and activities.
When the redhaired adventurer released his grip on the sword, Caerbannog put the makeshift weapon down on the ground beside her. It was her loss and she accepted it. The samurai wasn’t one to dwell on losses, especially against people whom she barely knew. Not unless they trolled her or gloated about their win of course; those who gloated at her would know her wrath, her fury, her vengeance- but Bunji was not that sort of person. She sat down on the ground as the foxtail did the same and the wolf-hair twitched her fluffy black ears when her fellow samurai waved and spoke to her.
The young man soon stood up and offered a hand to Caerbannog, a thoughtful gesture which she accepted willingly. As she stood up, the wolf-hair took note of the difference between the size of her hand and her overall build compared to the foxtail's. They were both samurai and of canine races, but their appearance was based on their customization. She nodded at him as thanks for helping her up while in the back of her mind she began to wonder about Elder Tale’s system which put smaller people like her on about the same level as much larger adventurers.
Bunji then invited her to tag along to a nearby river to which Caerbannog also nodded. Being called ‘CC’ was peculiar to her though and she spent most of the time walking while also wondering about its meaning. The only things that came to mind were C.C. from an animated show but that was correctly pronounced as C2 and C.C. as in crowd control in reference to videogames. Her mind drifted off to other acronyms such as AoE which was Area of Effect, DoT which meant Damage over Time, HoT that was Heal over Time and FF as either Final Fantasy or Focus Fire. The pair came upon the river soon enough and the wolf-hair washed her face with the cool water that ran steadily across the Grove.
“ Why CC? “ she finally asked her fellow samurai. Such a short question, so she thought up another just to get things going, “ And how have you been? “

The man would lead the way, quietly walking along he would know Caerbannog wasn't the talkative type so he was not going to try to get words out of her instead he walked quietly, their ears soon welcomed by the sound of running water. Bunji would stand there stepping aside to allow the girl to step out herself his red orbs focused on the stream of water that cut across the landscape with a deep inhale he would take in the fresh air as he got closer to the river himself kneeling down close to it. A hand scooped into the running water bringing up a handful to his face allowing him to wash his features with the cold water, and even drink some of the water himself as he allowed the cool to wash down his throat with a deep sigh the male seemed to relax. This allowing his muscles to calm, and settle themselves as he sat there allowing himself to be lost in the ambiance of his surroundings. Soon this calm silence that he had settled into would be disturbed by the most unlikely of individuals, his fox ears would twitch at the sound of the soft voice that slipped into them blinking a few times he turned his attention towards the girl after she had spoken his eyes focused on her feminine features. He blinked a few times listening to her words, then smiling as she gave the second question; she really was trying wasn't she? "CC" he said to her with a shrug as he sat on the ground leaning his upper body back allowing his hands to rest on the grassy floor to support him. "Your name is a bit too complicated to pronounce so I figured I'd use something simpler, so I decided to give CC a shot. it suits you, back in the human world I knew girl named CC, small and petite just like you...but full of spunk, similar to that fire I saw in your eyes when we were practicing back there" he said to her referring to their sparring match from just moments ago. Bending his right leg he would raise his knee allowing his right forearm to rest across it as he let out a deep sigh staring off to the water, "I've been well though, adventuring, getting stronger...and heh and even met a pretty ninja girl...gotta tell ya CC, been hard getting her out of my mind" he said with a soft tone that was accompanied by a smooth chuckling sound from his smiling lips. His mind flowing over towards Hanelli, the elven girl he had met weeks ago he had already been on a few adventures with the girl, and he knew she was strong; but there was more to her something else was pulling him towards her. Casting the thoughts aside for now he would respect his guests presence, and glance at her "What about you,how is everything?". |

Equipped: Pitch-black Yukata | (unarmed) With the duel over and a seemingly-serene river before her, Caerbannog pulled up her interface to unequip her ooyoroi. Storing it away manually would have been cumbersome, so that was one of the things for which she used Elder Tale’s menu. The charcoal ooyoroi soon disappeared and her yukata’s sleeves fell to its proper place, just two inches away from her fingertips. Beneath the yukata she wore equally dark shorts which allowed her to move quickly in battle as opposed to heavy trousers, and her legs were protected by thigh-high boots that was also black in keeping with her theme. She looked left and right to make sure that there were no incoming attackers, most especially slimes which were prevalent in Savill Flower Grove. Once her armor was stored away and her initial worry of the sudden appearance of slimes was gone, Caerbannog looked back at Bunji.
The redhaired foxtail gave a most logical reason for the nickname, to which the wolf-hair nodded. There were few people who gave her nicknames but only in Elder Tale, for in the real world, her name was far too short to be cut up or altered. It was then that she realized that apart from one friend, she did not know anyone on a personal level- that is, she only knew people by their in-game names. Not that it mattered, she reasoned; they were playing out their avatars after all. Caerbannog was worried about coming off as rude too if she suddenly asked for anyone’s real name given that she was not their close friend. She decided to stick to calling people by their in-game names, even Ryuu for the most part, and would just perhaps wait it out until she formed stronger bonds with other people.
Her mind which drifted off to the topic of in-game names and real names was soon pulled back to her conversation with Bunji. He talked about the usual adventurer’s fare: getting stronger, meeting people, crushing on someone- wait, what? Caerbannog was, unfortunately, the person who was least likely to give any kind of romantic advice. Though she was not entirely innocent to the ways of love and romance, what with the numerous eroge that she tried out either due to curiosity or her fellow gamers’ pranks, the girl was rather dense. Actually, dense was an understatement. Concrete was probably less dense than her. Her ears twitched towards Bunji as she waited for him to continue his story about the ninja girl, however the foxtail changed the topic and that left the wolf-hair half-relieved, half-curious.
“ Got a rabbit pet, “ was her simple answer to the redhaired one’s question, “ Player-killed, dragged off to a guild, punched things in swamp, went to Sarum- “
As she enumerated her activities, Caerbannog kept track of the number by counting them with her fingers. So far, she was at five and so the samurai held up five fingers.

WORDS 395 TAGS CAERBANNOG NOTES EXIT [sorta hes sleeping lol] | H e would both listen, and watch as her fingers emerged with every activity she mentioned she seemed to keep busy; but then again that did not surprise Bunji this girl seemed like a real seasoned warrior so the fact that she was so busy with so much was only a given to him. Glancing away from her his red eyes focused upon the flowing river as he sat there quietly listening to her every word, as short as they were he got the point of it all. When she was done he would lay back onto the grass taking in a deep breath as he smiled at the girl, "We keep busy...we grow, and develop even in this virtual world where what we see is not always who we are...we still play out their life...develop them, and help them grow...these avatars" he said as he held a hand out in front of his face reaching out to the darkened sky. His mind would drift off to a subject that always confused him the duality of their existence, they were two people or where these avatars representations of them? Lowering his hand he would bring it to his head, the fingers pushing back all the wild bangs that decided to linger over his red eyes as he sighed deeply; "Too many questions, not enough answers CC" he said to her with a chuckle as he took his hand from his head. Bunji would push both hands into the back of his head his fingers interlocking as they were used as pillows to cushion his head the hands sinking into the full head of hair, his fox ears twitching with the nearby sounds of the surrounding nature including the chirping of crickets, and the flowing river nearby. The young fox tail samurai would yawn as he rolled over on the grass, "I don't know about you CC. But I am going to catch some sleep, you can stick around or head back to an inn...me I like the river's sound...its a lullaby" he said with a yawn as he would shut his eyes, his fox tail curling around him, and his ears staying erect. With shut eyes the fox tail would begin to drift away into a pleasant sleep his attention now gone from this world to venture into the next. |

Equipped: Pitch-black Yukata | (unarmed) After the short enumeration of her activities was done, Caerbannog glanced over to the other samurai. His expression and posture spoke of a rather laidback soul, one that was not too different from his earlier personality when they fought. Bunji seemed to be a very relaxed person who would do something only because he really wanted to. Whenever he fought, the foxtail gave it all he could and not only for showing off, no. The sparkle in his eyes with each strike, his grin and just his general expression- never mind the stance which was sometimes awkward or forced. The redhaired samurai did not live for battle, for leveling up or just to survive and exist, not at all. He did not go through the motions as she did; every fight, Bunji seemed to truly enjoy. And even that moment too as he soon became visibly sleepy.
Without a word, Caerbannog stood up when the foxtail seemed to need some rest. She hoped that no slime creature would wander over to him while he was sleep right there for that might turn out horribly. The wolf-hair scanned the surroundings as she stood up and did not leave until she was sure that the area was safe for the slumbering foxtail. She then walked over to Bunji and patted his fluffy red hair. Hopefully he would not punch her in his sleep... when all was said and done, Caerbannog pulled up her interface and used her [Call of Home] skill. She hoped that someday, Bunji would find his ‘home’ too, perhaps with that pretty ninja girl that he mentioned earlier.
