His stride and posture isn’t exactly upright and confident, though it’s not slouched and meek either, more relaxed when out of combat and stiff and somewhat unsure while in combat. Not visible under his clothing is a series of black and blue tribal tattoos that cover his arms and torso. It was unfortunate that his clothing had to cover them up, as he had picked the perfect design, but it seems that’s the way things go here for his class choice, unless he wanted to run around naked. Not a preferable option. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] His personality is generally more introverted. Though he doesn’t have any problem getting along with people and has a few good friends in the real world, and nobody particularly dislikes him; he does tend to like to spend a good deal of his time alone or in the company of the few people he trusts. For the most part, he’s kind and quiet, being one of those men of few words, but don’t let that make you think that he’s shy or stupid. He just wants to make sure he says the right thing in the right situation so that he doesn’t make a good situation bad or a bad situation worse. Though there are times that he has let his feelings get in the way and said the wrong thing or blurted something out that he later regretted. He’s relatively insightful when it comes to situations where things have to be thought out and he enjoys a good puzzle, though he wouldn’t be bouncing around with joy at the sight of a puzzle, as he’s not ever that energetic. He’s not particularly merciful or judgmental, preferring to stay neutral in the affairs of others and letting other people make the decisions on the fates of others instead of taking on that burden himself. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] Before being brought into Elder Tale, Toma Tangusa was a first year college student, trying new things out for the first time out from under the strict tutelage of his parents. He was one of those kids that got a ‘better education’ while home schooled and was thus ahead of the curve of the other kids. This allowed him to finish his secondary education and start college a couple years earlier than them as well. This lifestyle didn’t allow much time for gaming or having friends, his parents having had him home and studying for this thing or that. They didn’t want to risk him out in the world knowing that he’d be something great some day, and he’s always been one for being able to study, though daydreams frequently interrupted, as well as kids outside the window playing when he knew that he would never be allowed to participate with them. He was breezing through the college courses, which to him seemed soft compared to the way that his parents taught him, forcing down a years worth of curriculum in half that time or less. So one of the other members of the dorm got him into this old game called Elder Tale. He had nothing else to do but study and he was already top of his class, so he figured why not give it a shot. Because of this, it's especially effective against DPS melee fighters, but not so much for ranged or magic classes. It wears off after a few seconds. This skill's debuff classification is Mind. [attr="class","skill"]Electrical Fuzz Tier I Skill This spell attaches a small electrical orb to all nearby enemies, brightly illuminates their figure and irritating their vision. Targets take extremely minor electric damage every few seconds. Rather than being used as a damage dealing skill, Electrical Fuzz is mostly used for utility in order to keep the party aware of the enemy's positions. This makes it very helpful to keep track of evasive classes, such as Assassins. [attr="class","skill"]Mind Shock Tier I Skill A spell that launches a single orb to cause minor damage and disorientation on nearby opponents. While under the effect of this spell, the side-directional movements of an opponent are reversed - attempting to jump to the right causes the body to jump to the left instead. Because of this, targets have their accuracy and evasion partially compromised. Mind Shock's cooldown time is three minutes, making it a usually one-time spell in most battle situations. This skill's debuff classification is Mind. [attr="class","skill"]Transmutation: Alchemist Level 1 Skill - Alchemists are able to use Magitech in battle without any penalties based on their main class. Also a toggle skill. Through their abilities in creating efficient Magitech, all costs for using Magitech are halved for the Alchemist. Their research also give them an advantage in fighting Artificial Life and deal an additional 10% damage. [attr="class","skill"]Battle Perception: Pathfinder Level 1 Skill - Toggle skill. Battle perception allows the Pathfinder to notice nearby monsters more easily by displaying their names and levels above their heads. It allows the Pathfinder to detect monsters about 3 meters further than a normal character, and is most useful for preventing ambushes. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Armor: Starter Cloth Armor: A basic set of cloth armor made from cheap fabric. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. [attr="class","skill"]Left Hand: Starter Staff: A two-handed starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap wood. It is typically used to channel magic, but can also be used to whack people on the side of the head. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can.
