With his constant devotion to ping pong, he's kept an athletic body type. Jasper has a slim face, which are adorned by his cerulean eyes, usually followed by a very serious look. While he is usually dressed in a business attire, or business casual even on his off days, he can be found wearing trendy apparel, clearly with quite a fashion sense, picking at the very least mid-tier clothing options, that accentuate a sliver of uniqueness and coordinating his style well. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]Jasper Hayes is obsessive nearly to a fault. He strives for being greater than others, in an MMO, this attribute is clearly manifested. In his offtime while playing MMOs he's clearly an elitist, a progressionist, and a min-maxer. He will refuse to make a friend, purely for the sake of being friendly or socializing. Studying and attempting methods as he deemed fit in every aspect of his life. As naturally intelligent, well-read, practiced and versatile as he may be, he lacks a sort of creativity. Finding it difficult to think outside of the box. However, he does have a tender side. His mother had taught him how to care for others and how to make others feel important and how to keep them close, and how to understand how others are feeling. No one has brought this genuine treatment out of him, except for his mom. He continues to use these skill to make his relationships wherever he goes. He will seldom reveal just how selfish or arrogant he is, just to keep his peace and his self-image intact. People typically never realize just how Jasper Hayes operates, but conversely if someone even attempts to be mysterious or apathetic, it's very hard for Jasper to understand them. Also because of the sort of facade he puts up, it is very difficult for him to form long-lasting friendships. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]The bastard child of England's current prince and a meek florist. Jasper has never met his father, raised soley by his mother. He had received financial support from a very early age, but neither he or his mother were allowed to ever speak of his lineage. He didn't understand it at first, but as he grew up it became an obsession. He was obsessed by proving he didn't have to be hidden, that he was worthy to be an heir. His mother tended to him gently with as much empathy as she had, caring for him and showing him the value of treating people with tenderness and kindness. Such sweet things were wasted upon him, except with how he treated his mother. He loved his mother and would always take a moment off to spend time with her and even help her with the shop even from a young age. During school, he found it easy to maintain his life together, by sacrificing his social life with gaming afterschool. He did excellently in school and even took up two extracurricular activities; ping pong and chess. Everything in life was taken with a certain perfectionism. He studied chess, reading famous games and not so famous ones, doing rote memorization and playing incomplete games and enjoyed being outplayed by computers. With his ping pong, he practiced both grips as well as both hands, playing with people with far more experience than he, and taking every game just a little too serious, even practice with a wall. Eventually moving out and going to college, he took things that a true leader should know, devising his academics around it, while he played MMO's in his free time while still keeping up with ping pong and chess. Jasper had just heard about Log Horizon, but no one from England was in his guild, so he had to move on his own. [attr="class","skill"]Weeding: Gardener Toggle skill. Gardeners not only have a green thumb, but the ability to bring destruction to that which they give life. They inflict 20% more damage when fighting a Plant-type monster and take 10% less damage from Plant-type monster attacks. [attr="class","skill"]Timber: Woodcrafter Toggle skill. Woodcrafters naturally have an affinity for chopping and carving wood, making their abilities key in harming monsters that happen to be arboreal in nature. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. [attr="class","skill"]Apprentice Grimoire: Left Hand A one-handed apprentice’s book of spells designed for novice mages, made out of cheap materials. Doesn’t particularly have too many pages, but it is better than nothing. If used by a magic class, you get the ability to shoot a basic magic attack with a range of 2 meters. [attr="class","skill"]Starter Katana: Right Hand A starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap iron. It is well-balanced and easy to use but doesn’t hit particularly hard at all. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can.
