The unfortunate thing about having a computer for a head (for the most part) was having to have an alarm attached to it as well. It was a lot more difficult to press snooze on the pesky HUD. If only he could snooze the alarm by smacking his face, though that may have woken him up instead. He’d have to figure out a way to snooze his alarm without having to go into the HUD menus. It took too much thinking when he was trying to sleep past his alarm, but if he did that, what was the use of the alarm? I mean… honestly, what is the reason for a snooze button? If you can’t wake up the first time, then why would you wake up after the fifth time? Was it to give you the impression that you actually have more sleep when you wake up every 5-10 minutes? Who knew, but either way, making a snooze function for what was pretty much unchangeable was probably impossible anyways. He sat up from his bed, turning off the annoying alarm that he couldn’t wait to chuck out the proverbial wall. The fourth wall, that is. He yawned loudly and stretched his arms wide. His blankets were still over the lower half of his body, while his upper body was sitting up. He leaned against his arm, his elbow supported by his hip.
After a few minutes of putting his hands over his eyes, he finally shook his head violently, in order to get him in the correct mood and lifted the blanket away from his body, casting it aside. He rose slid his legs to one side of the bed until the tips of his toes found the ground. Gradually he began placing all of his weight onto his feet and was able to lift his body with his legs. He stood at the window, looking out at the horizon. The sun was beginning to rise, and there was a long and busy day ahead of him. He turned and put on his casual clothes as well as taking his weapons just in case. He wore his armor underneath his yukata, as he didn’t want to go out towards Sarum completely unprotected. As he began equipping things from his menu, he opened the door and went to the kitchen to get breakfast out. At this time, Kyuu should have been in her waking stages. Ryuu had told her the day before that they were going to Sarum to support the people there, and that the shift started early. It was a change of pace for the both of them. Instead of going to explore or combat golems, they were planning to help other adventurers who were inclined to do so today. Ryuu thought it was a good time to bond and spend time with each other, since they would be able to stalls right next to each other. Even though Kyuu didn’t speak much, he knew that taking a break from combat was good.
When he went to the kitchen, he began taking the pre-made food Kyuu had left as storage for them to eat. He took out some breakfast sandwiches that contained some ham, egg, lettuce, and avocado. He even set two glasses of water for them to drink. The good thing about the storage system was that the foods never got cold and never went bad. It was probably the best thing to not have changed into actual reality. Refrigeration was no longer a necessity, as everything taken out of inventories were just as fresh as when you made it. After placing Kyuu’s portion on the counter and his own, he went back to his room to grab his tailor gear. He had almost forgotten it. He was so used to working out of his workshop, that usually he didn’t have to bring any equipment along. This was, of course, different. The Sarum Expedition Camp was still desolate in terms of equipment, but they did have some nice space to use. After Ryuu grabbed his gear, he turned back towards the kitchen. If Kyuu was not already there, he would go to her room and wake her up. If she was already there, he would begin to eat his sandwich and drink the water from the cup he had set for himself.
“Good morning,” he would say to the most likely sleepy Kyuu. If she had just entered the kitchen, he would point to her portion of food, however if she was already there, he would smile. “We’ll need to leave in a bit, and I think we can probably find a merchant to hitch a ride with. I don’t feel like walking all the way to Sarum today,” he said to her. He was strict, but he wasn’t about to force Kyuu to walk a few miles so early in the morning. Besides, today was supposed to be mostly relaxing. It may get a bit hectic later in the day, but it didn’t have the same stress as going out and killing oversized statues that moved.
They had slayed several a few days ago, and both of them had witnessed death because of it. It was still taxing on the mind to go out and know that death was possible, even though they were immortal. After they finished their breakfast, Ryuu would head out with Kyuu and they would ride along the wagon that was pulled by a couple of horses. After about 30 minutes of riding the carriage, they arrived at their destination. Ryuu paid the merchant handsomely and then went towards two unused crafting stalls that were really just empty stalls that allowed them to sit in the shade rather than burn in the hot sun of Sarum.

Subclass: Chef | Tools: Cooking Utensils | Crafting: Sweet Confection - :: - Skill: Iron Stomach (Passive) One bunny. Two bunnies. Three bunnies HOP!
Four bunnies. Five bunnies. Six-ty five hundred gazillion bunnies.
Oh shit.
Caerbannog woke up with a start. She felt as if she just had most upsetting dream, but she couldn't remember exactly what it was about. That may or may have been due to Hrairoo who almost drowned her face with frenmic rabbit spit. Apparently, the rabbit was already hungry and had taken to licking its tamer’s face to either wake her up or to slowly digest her skin and bones. It sat innocently to the samurai’s right side, but the slobber on her nose and mouth were evidence enough to the rabbit’s wrongdoing. She could not blame him though for the girl had fallen asleep before she could give Roo anything to eat that previous evening.
“ Okay let’s- puuu~! “ Kyuu almost spat on the carpet of her cave when she tasted bunny slobber in her mouth.
The samurai quickly headed to a common bathroom and cleaned herself up. Roo would have to wait. She wasn't about to walk around with frenmic kisses all over her face. Not even five minutes later, Kyuu was done with all the things that other girls usually used up hours for. She had showered, dried herself, put on her ooyoroi and then Zankapfel over it. Buuut she didn't comb her hair. Again. So what? The wolf-hair headed to the kitchen for breakfast and found sandwiches and water on the counter. Why was that- OHHHH! Sarum! Kyuu quickly ate the sandwich so that she could pretend, once Ryuu was ready, that she did not forget about their activity for the day. Early morning lectures were not nice after all. She gave Roo some lettuce and half an apple which the rabbit greedily ate. After a sip of water, Roo was done with his breakfast too. By the time that Ryuu walked in, Kyuu had the rabbit on her head while she was munching away on the other half of Roo’s apple.
For a change, the samurai did not seem sleepy. Maybe she was turning over a new leaf; maybe she was actually going to sleep during the appropriate hours and did not waste her time doing questionable things in her cave. Maybe Roo was no longer hyperactive at night and did not keep its tamer up. NOT. Kyuu fell asleep on the carriage as they made their way to Sarum, and her rabbit did the same thing. By the time that they reached their destination, both the rabbit and its tamer were disoriented due to sleepiness. Unfortunately, or was it fortunately, Rose, the middle-aged lander lady who gave the crafting quest to Capsule and Caerbannog before recognized the chef.
“ You two can occupy those stalls, I reckon, “ Rose said mostly to the sleepy samurai who looked at her without recalling who she was, “ Here are some quests for the day. “
The brown-haired lander woman, who by the looks of it was wider and taller than either of the two adventurers, placed a stack of ads in front of Kyuu. The chef blinked at it, not quite awake yet. She nodded absent-mindedly at Rose who in turn gave the girl a thumbs-up sign and a wide grin. The lander knew the girl to be dependable despite her appearance and stature. Once Rose walked away, Kyuu stared at the stack, pulled a chair close to the stall and promptly used the pile of ads as a pillow. Hrairoo soon slid off of the girl’s head and curled up close to the stack as well.
The ads which Rose left to the two comprised of many unanswered requests for many kinds of crafters. Amongst those were common requests for tailors such as “Repair an X number of gear” or “Craft this and this item for Level X adventurers”. As for chefs, there was only one request and it was for cooking sweets since only they could make MP-restoring items as far as the Elder Tale system was concerned. Ryuu would have to wake up the samurai though and pulled her off of that stack so that he could read them, or the other way around.

| Skills: Tags: | : Word Count : 0658 OOC Notes: Quick Slot: Windsor Antiqua Throwing Knives | As he expected, Kyuu had fallen asleep on the carriage. She had somehow woken up on her own today, but it looked like she still didn’t sleep enough. Ryuu didn’t bother her during the entire car carriage ride, as he figured she needed the sleep anyways. After their arrival, a person of the land named Rose had approached them. She had given a huge stack of requests for crafting. She had placed it in front of Kyuu who was still a little sleepy. She had looked at it and then used it as a pillow. The rabbit did the same as it fellow asleep on top of Kyuu. Ryuu shook his head and began placing his tools on the table. He looked inside the stall and found that materials had already been transferred here for him. The next thing he knew, Hrairoo had slid off and curled up into a ball near the stack. Ryuu stood from his seat and then went to the front of Kyuu’s stall. First he took Hrairoo from his spot and placed him on top of his head, so that what he was about to do wouldn’t scare him off. Hrairoo would probably go back to sleep on top of his head. He placed his index finger on top of his thumb and then locked the index finger in placed, while applying pressure with the index finger and he placed it right near Kyuu’s forehead. Letting loose his index finger, he attempted to flick the samurai on her forehead so she’d wake up. He needed to take a few of those ads so he could start working. There were several requests to fill and if they didn’t, it’d turn into a ruckus here. The longer the dilly-dallies, the more likely lines were going to form and thus backorders and more angry mobs coming to try and ruin them with pitchforks, knives, and torches. Okay, so maybe it wouldn’t get that rough, but Ryuu did want to get to work.
Now if the flick didn’t work, he’d give another one for good measure. If that didn’t work, Ryuu would get the cup of water from his stall and pour it on top of the girl’s head. If anything, cold water would be the thing to wake up the sleepy samurai. Oh wait! He couldn’t use water because the ads were under her head. So if he couldn’t use water, what could he do? Well if there’s one thing he knew about Kyuu, it’s that she was ticklish, and what better way to make her wake up by making her laugh so hard she’d cry. That would provide for a very entertaining reaction, Hrairoo probably going “Humans…” if he could speak, or think like a human… or… nevermind.
After successfully waking up Kyuu, he would first separate the orders for tailors and for cooks. He’d take the tailor side and leave all the cook things to Kyuu. His first commission was to repair an armor. He turned around to look for the armor associated with the ticket number and also grabbed a few materials that he would use for the repairs. He took out his hammer to harden leather even more. The leathers of different strengths were already readied, so the main thing was either patching up or enhancing armors so that they were better or usable. He would tinker away and look towards Kyuu, who he hoped at least started the fire to start cooking.
“How long do you think each of these requests will take?” he asked. He figured that for the cook, they’d usually request in bulk, whereas for tailors, people really only needed repairs or a single armor rather than bulks of armor to wear. Since cooks made consumable items, it was often assumed that they had to make multiples of the items because that’s what was requested of them, especially for the ones planning to explore Sarum or clear golems.

Subclass: Chef | Tools: Cooking Utensils | Crafting: Sweet Confection - :: - Skill: Iron Stomach (Passive) Hrairoo dreamt that he was flying, soaring through the clouds like one of those things that soar and fly through the clouds. For a frenmic rabbit, that was quite an achievement since all they probably dreamt about was eating and doing bunny things; or maybe that was just Roo. Anyway, the rabbit did not wake up even when Ryuu pulled him off of his tamer’s head because the dream was just too nice. As for Kyuu, that one flick to the forehead woke her up.
“ HWAH! “ she exclaimed as she sat up straight and opened her eyes.
It took a while for her to process what was going on. A desolate place full of landers and adventures, makeshift stalls and tents, a stack of ads close to her and a long-haired kinda girly-looking guy with a rabbit on his head... UH-OH. The chef’s eyes widened as she woke up completely and realized who she was, where she was, what she was supposed to do there, and that her guild leader was looking at her while somewhat cross perhaps?
“ AH! Moushiwakenai! “ Kyuu apologized to her sempai and gave him the ads which were specifically made for tailors.
Slowly, it came back to her: Rose came by and gave them some quests. Knowing her, the lander probably would not require much. Perhaps three or four tasks should do; Ryuu would be free to choose from the mountain of tailor requests while the chef would have to cook up maybe three different kinds of sweets. The rest of the ads, which were totally unrelated to tailors and chefs, were kept away by Kyuu to be given back to Rose later. Once her stall was cleared of the things that she did not need, the chef checked whatever was there that she did need.
A stove, small saucepans, regular pots and pans, wooden spoons and many other things for cooking were available. There was no oven, however, so the chef figured that she’d either have to make puddings or candies as per the quest objectives. Her first few ideas were easy enough to make but she’d need something specific for it. Kyuu put a mixing bowl, a teaspoon and a plate on her stall. She rummaged through the available ingredients and found some white sugar, lemons, limes, oranges and water. The key ingredient that she needed though was not there.
“ Sumimasen, “ the girl said as she stood up; she excused herself and left her stall to go to one of the tents.
The place that she entered was that makeshift mess-hall within which she undertook a quest with the enchanter Capsule. The landers remembered her vaguely and so they allowed the chef to look for ingredients in their small kitchen. Kyuu looked at the stove and noticed that they were cooking some of the pork and liver soup which she made before. The fragrance of celery wafted through the air and so, even though they barely remembered her, the chef was pleased for that development. But back to what she needed... finally the girl found it. A bottle of jelly powder; it was either made from what she called animal juice or from seaweed juice. Whatever was the base, it was what the chef needed so she asked for permission to use it and was graciously allowed to do so.
Kyuu happily returned to her post to find Ryuu rather busy with his work. Hrairoo was still sound asleep on the assassin’s head, and as the girl looked on she wondered if she was that adorable too whenever Roo was perched on her noggin. Unrelated thoughts aside, the chef poured some of the jelly powder into the mixing bowl and put some sugar in it too. Using her teaspoon, the girl combined the dry ingredients thoroughly until the sugar was indistinguishable from the jelly powder. Next, it was time to juice some citrus fruits. Kyuu washed the lemons, limes and oranges in a basin of cool water. Then, on a wooden chopping board, she placed a rather large lemon that was to be halved and juiced.
At that moment though, when she was about to slice the darn thing, either the chef or her knife derped; instead of cutting through the lemon, her cutlery slipped and only cut a small part. Kyuu’s left hand which was putting pressure on half of the lemon to keep it in place gripped the fruit too tightly and so the juice jumped up to the chef’s face. A few onlookers laughed at the mess and the strong scent of citrus woke up Hrairoo who suddenly decided that Ryuu’s hair was passable as food.

| Skills: Tags: | : Word Count : 0523 OOC Notes: Quick Slot: Windsor Antiqua Throwing Knives | As he flicked her head, she straightened up like an arrow and realized what she was doing here. Ryuu shrugged since it at least got her to realize where they were and what they were here to do. She had left to go get a few more ingredients from the mess hall, and while she did that, Ryuu watched her, but soon brought his attention back to his work. His eyes were focused on the pieces of armors that were lying around for him to repair. He had 2 requests for armors to fashion from scratch and 3 requests to patch repair some armors. He decided to get the ones that took the most time which was making armors from the starting materials. He started out by outlining the hard leather he would be using as the base material. It was thick, dark brown, and hardened enough that a blade or any type of projectile would not easily go through. He cut through the leather in order to bring the shape to life, making sure not too cut too much. The armor that he was making would have only belts at the back in order to secure the armor to the person. It made it lighter and because the level of the armor was rather low. The dexterity of the user should be able to make up for any attacks from the back, and the leather belts would provide some defense against some bladed weapons as well.
As he prepared all the strips of material, Kyuu began cutting citrus fruits for her craft. She had slipped and squeezed the fruit while cutting and the scent had somehow woken up Hrairoo, whom was on his head. Hrairoo began eating his hair, which he felt the pull at his scalp. He moved his hands to pick up Hrairoo and turned it around so that he faced the rabbit. “Kyuu forgot to feed you again, hm?” he said as he carried the rabbit in his arms and walked to the mess hall to grab some food for the poor rabbit who probably hadn’t eaten anything since last night (which was why it was so inclined to eat his hair). It wasn’t the first time this has happened, but at this point, it stopped bothering him. He waved at the cooks who were here. Since Ryuu was pretty much a regular here, they didn’t mind if he came in for some needs. He took 3 large carrots to bring back to his station. As he walked back, Ryuu saw a few landers who he had met here. They complimented his pet rabbit, but he shook his head and corrected them, saying that it wasn’t his. After socializing a bit with some of the people here, he finally made it back to his stall and replaced Hrairoo back onto his head. He handed him a carrot and the rabbit began chomping on it happily. Ryuu looked over at Kyuu. “You must have stayed out late, last night… or stayed up late last night,” he said. It wasn’t often she’d forget to feed her rabbit, but sometimes it happened.

Subclass: Chef | Tools: Cooking Utensils | Crafting: Sweet Confection - :: - Skill: Iron Stomach (Passive) Caerbannog wiped off the lemon juice from her face, with none other than the left sleeve of Zankapfel. She did notice that Ryuu left his post but nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary so she went back to what she was doing. The chef wanted to start out with something simple, just some citrus-flavored gumdrops. Lemon-to-the-face was an unfortunate incident, but she quickly recovered from that. More careful with her knife-work than before, Caerbannog halved the lemon properly and set them aside. Next up she halved a lime and an orange; the orange was tricky because it was spherical, but since she put her mind and her little hands to it, the chef did not end up with sliced fingers. Soon three kinds of citrus fruits were lined up on her chopping board. She then divided the jelly powder mix into three equal parts and put them in slightly smaller mixing bowls. The chef soon squeezed a bit of the lemon juice onto a teaspoon and dropped that into the mixture of jelly powder and white sugar in the first bowl.
As anticipated, the jelly-sugar mix absorbed the lemon juice and it sat there like an uncharacteristic wet patch on a sandy beach. The chef repeated the process about four more times until she had five splotches on the jelly-sugar mixture. Then, still with the same teaspoon, Caerbannog scooped up each splotch separately and rolled them around the mixture. She ended up with a semi-spherical juice-jelly-sugar thing which she then set aside on a clean plate. There was no cooking involved for the gumdrops. The acidic content of the juice and its moisture melted the jelly and sugar granules and made them stick together. It would take few minutes before the things began to set so in the meantime, she worked on the other flavors.
With the orange and lime cut up, all the girl had to do was to juice them and roll those up in the jelly mixtures. The second bowl had orange drops and the third bowl had lime drops. Caerbannog let the juice sit in there for a while before she rolled them up into the slightly spherical gumdrops that they had to be. The orange and lime confection were soon picked out of their respective bowls and set beside the lemon drops. The chef repeated the process until she ran out of citrus juice from the halved fruits, and then she moved on a second, and last, batch of fruits. All in all she made a total of around fifty gumdrops for each flavor, which wasn't really that daunting to make since they were just teaspoonfuls of juice on jelly powder and sugar.
The chef then started to clean up her stall before she moved onto the next item on her list. Her gumdrops still had to be set and the warmth of Sarum was not making things easy for her. Still she had to work with what she had, and that included the environment’s temperature. She looked over to Ryuu’s station and noticed that Hrairoo was eating- again. The rabbit already had some lettuce and half an apple back at the guild house. Greedy little bunny.
“ Ryuu-niichan, “ she called over to the tailor, “ If you spoil Roo, he won’t leave you alone. “

Spoil their nieces and nephews?” he asked her with a smirk, “besides, he was eating my hair…” He continued to work on the armor that he had worked on earlier. Ryuu began stitching pieces of it together, placing metal tacks in order to make sure the leather would not come loose. He then began adding the metal pieces of the belts to the belt straps to put them on as a support for the user as well as some protection in the back. With a hammer and several other tools at his disposal, he’d be able to make different crafts, especially in an environment where he didn’t have to worry about customer interaction. He wasn’t trying to sell anything, rather he was getting paid for the day. No matter how much or how little they made, it didn’t mean anything.
He looked over to Kyuu’s station and noticed that she was beginning to make something jelly. “So what are you making for your requests? Candy?” he asked. He hammered away at the studs that he was putting into place and also the hardened leather that he placed at the shoulders to stop any heavy attacks from cleaving his arm off from the shoulder. He added a few design elements, like his typical stylized F as well as several other cool designs on the front of the armor to instill fear.
Next he would repair one of the armors that were in the back. He grabbed the armor that matched the tag of the repair sheet and looked at it. It was pretty well worn, which meant he’d have to replace numerous parts for it to be useful again. He’d have to do several patches and possibly place another layer of leather underneath to give the users more protection and comfort. As he examined all the holes and the entirety of the armor, he decided what he was going to do and began to work diligently.
With each pound, the sound was barely heard. His mallet was rubber, so even if he pounded it as hard as possible, it was unlikely that others would hear it because there was nothing that would amplify the sounds that were coming out of the stall. Everything was very open, so they did not need to worry about disturbing others other than themselves. The hammer was a necessity to soften some pieces of leather as well as placing the studs in the armor for usage.

Subclass: Chef | Tools: Cooking Utensils | Crafting: Sweet Confection - :: - Skill: Iron Stomach (Passive) Oniichan had no idea huh? He did not know how greedy little Hrairoo could be. It was a miracle that the frenmic rabbit had not blown up to ten times his size ever since he was taken in by the tailor’s imouto. He was about to find out just how much of a glutton the rabbit was. After Roo finished his carrots, he moved over to the side of the tailor’s stall and at first picked up stray threads and pieces of cloth, if any. Eventually though, the rabbit caught the young man’s sleeve and began to gnaw on it. Mmm... cloth.
Kyuu did not respond to the spoiling thing. She knew that despite being an assassin by choice, Ryuu was not as cold-hearted as his class implied. He’d have to find out about Roo’s habits the hard way though. It took the girl a few weeks before Hrairoo stopped gnawing on the plushie cave after every time he did that, he would be unsummoned. The rabbit would definitely try to get away with whatever he could though. Not that he was a hungry or bored rabbit- Kyuu knew that the creature sometimes just liked to annoy people. Perhaps he needed a companion, but the wolf-hair’s subclass did not allow for another domesticated creature at that moment.
“ Many candies, yes, “ she simply nodded at her brother and moved on to her next ‘dish’.
The chef found herself momentarily torn between making gummy candies or creme caramel. On one hand she needed some time for gummy candies to set, on the other hand, creme caramel was ideally eaten after cooled off. There were other things to consi- sod it. Kyuu tossed a coin. Creme caramel it is. So that needed eggs, milk, sugar and lemon zest. The samurai looked left and right. Once she ascertained that no one else was looking and Ryuu was busy with his tailoring, she picked up the empty lemon halves that had fallen to the ground, rinsed them and set 'em aside.
Slightly bored, and with boredom mounting, Kyuu tossed all the ingredients for creme caramel into a saucepan, grated previously-filthy lemon zest into it, and stirred the mix while careful to not create any of those hateful air bubbles. She then turned the fire up to low heat and waited for the mixture to almost come to a boil. Insert long and uneventful wait here. The chef then turned to the finished mixture, put out the stove’s fire with much prejudice, and then she poured the caramel into cute little molds. Okay, that was done. She set the stuff aside and cleaned up her stall to get ready for her third craft.

| Skills: Tags: | : Word Count : 0503 OOC Notes: Quick Slot: Windsor Antiqua Throwing Knives | Ryuu was working silently on the armor and as he finished the quick patch job, he placed it back on the rack of storage and went to create another armor set. He went back to his bench to work on a new armor. It was a cloth armor in the shape of a robe. He took a large sheet of cloth and placed it upon his work bench. As he began outlining the shape of the robe, Hrairoo was up to no good, chewing on some of the thread and materials. Ryuu pushed him away from the materials so he’d stop thinking it was food. As soon as Ryuu reached for another set of materials to his right, Hrairoo found his shirt and began chewing on it too. Ryuu pushed Hrairoo away and placed him on his left side, away from the materials and away from his… well he couldn’t really be away from his shirt… damn.
Ryuu did his best to cut the material out from the fabric and keep Hrairoo from eating his shirt all the way through. Ryuu should probably craft himself a new shirt after he was done with the robe. At least then, he would have something to wear by the end of it. Pretty soon Hrairoo began tugging at his shirt. Pretty soon, he took the entire sleeve with him. Ryuu closed his eyes, suppressing his anger at the Frenmic Rabbit. At least the sleeve would occupy the rabbit for a while, while the tailor finished the cloth armor for a mage. He worked quickly, as he wasn’t sure how long his sleeve would occupy Hrairoo for. Oh lord, it was going to be fast. The look may be terrible after he sewed it together, but it was still usable with the materials used. After stitching the parts together as well as placing a nice cloth belt to pair along with it, he quickly threw it to the back before Hrairoo would be able to get to it.
After finishing, he picked up Hrairoo and placed him on top of Kyuu’s head while she was cooking. “You can have Hrairoo back. I need to make a new shirt,” he said. As he took the leftover materials from the cloth armor he made earlier, he fashioned a quick shirt and removed his shirt. He placed his new shirt on top and then sighed in relief as he kicked back on his chair and waited for Kyuu to finish as well. “Let’s turn these in when you finish. I finished crafting two armors and repaired two as well. It should suffice for today,” he said to her. He signed the ads he had completed and took the ones that Kyuu had pulled from the stack. He’d try to keep it away from her for a bit, trying to tease her a bit, but she’d probably step on his toes and force him to give it to her eventually. Oh how Ryuu loved pain… I mean, he’s not an M!

Subclass: Chef | Tools: Cooking Utensils | Crafting: Sweet Confection - :: - Skill: Iron Stomach (Passive) Cloth didn’t taste too good, but the satisfaction of seeing a biped squirm out of sheer annoyance or discomfort fed Hrairoo’s soul. Maybe that samurai Wermut was right; maybe frenmic rabbits were indeed the embodiment of evil wrapped up in a fluffy exterior. Or maybe that was just Roo. Truth was, he was a fairly haughty rabbit who thought his tamer uncontested. He’d never seen other bipeds with a level as high as hers- ah, except for that one guy who had this weird aura about him, a masked assassin. The rabbit then looked over to his tamer who was busy with her crafts.
On the chef’s stall, Kyuu mixed together some jelly powder, freshly-squeezed lemon juice and water in a sauce pan. It was her last dish, gummy candies, which had to be allowed to cool and set. At that point, her first recipe, the gumdrops, was already set and so she put some of them on a saucer for herself while the rest was displayed in front of her stall. Passers-by could take some of the candies which would provide MP restoration. The crème caramel, however, was not set just yet. As for the gummy candy mix, unlike gumdrops it had to be heated up and then cooled. The chef put the saucepan over the stove set to low heat. She had to allow the liquid to simmer and that would take a while.
With the saucepan on the stove and the gummy candy mixture on its way to finalization, Kyuu went back into the mess-hall tent to ask for some Britain snow. She saw it being used by brewers before thus she figured that the camp had some of it stored away. The landers gave the girl a bowlful of the thing which she brought back to her stall. She put the crème caramel molds on it so that they would set quickly. As for the gummy mix, the liquid seemed hot enough indicated by the rising steam so the chef turned the stove off. She then put the mixture in a tray with flower shapes, a candy mold of some sort, and put that on the Britain Snow as well.
Kyuu began to clean up her stall and just then, Ryuu walked over to her and put Roo on her head. It seemed that the assassin has had enough of the rabbit’s antics, which was understandable knowing Hrairoo. The chef merely snickered at the thought up until her oniichan took her ads. That was not cool. She just squinted him though because she wanted to finish cleaning up her stall first. After a few minutes, that was done and the crème caramel and gummy candies were set. She flipped on caramel mold onto her gumdrops saucer and put some of the gummy candies on it too.
“ Trade… “ Kyuu walked over to Ryuu and set the plate of sweets in front of him while she held her hand out for the ads that she had to look over.
The rest of her sweets were picked up by landers and adventurers who passed by her stall while she waited for Ryuu to hand over the paperwork. If he didn't, she’d sic Roo on his face.

After finishing up and accepting the completion of their duties here, Ryuu turned towards Kyuu and beckoned her to follow. It was time for them to go home, and what better way than to use the Aethernet… oh wait wrong game. Nope, no Chocobos either. They would have to do it the old fashioned way. They’d have to hitch a ride with a merchant going back to London, and that would be the only way for them to get back to where they needed, back home. After a tiring day of just crafting, it was better for them.
With paying the usual fees and taking the usual trip home, he expected for Kyuu to sleep, and well Ryuu would too. The merchant would wake them up when they got there… right? Right? Well they would find out, wouldn’t they?
