[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]DUCK [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Alistair Louden [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 19 [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Pansexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: Lancer [Diarmuid Ua Duibhne], Fate Zero [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: Duck [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"]Ally isn't a particular noticeable person. Having the dark hair that's typical of a Brit and a height of 6' 0'', he could blend into a crowd rather happily despite being slightly taller than most. However, the main thing that IS noticeable is the fact that he's quite well-muscled. His father was the leader of the local Scouts, and so he had been forced to take part in their activities from an early age. Because of this, he seems to constantly have an aura of self control, which befits the muscle mass that he has built up over years of continuous hard work. Like the majority of people with a Scotch descent, his eyes are neither squinty nor rounded. However, due to his constant desire to be on top of situations, they wind up flitting back and forth around the area causing those people who don't know him to distrust him inherently just from appearances. Although that might be somewhat rude, that's just the way things are. The most remarkable thing, other than his muscles, is the fact that his hair gives off the appearance of uneven length. This is not, in fact, the case, but as he constantly keeps it swept back to keep it out of his face to avoid obscuring his own vision, the one streak of hair that constantly refuses to obey him seems to make his hair seem somewhat out of place. This could be seen as a precursor to the way that he's dressed himself. In real life he would always wear whatever was comfortable yet suited to running enough that he could sprint in it if he needed to make a clean get away, his clothes in Elder Tale are similarly practical. He wears leather mostly as it's the best form of protection that isn't heavy enough to slow down his movements. However, to add a bit of flair, he also tends to wear a dark brown leather long coat around his jerkin, giving him that bit more of a "Swashbuckler" feel. The last thing to really notice is his posture, or rather his body language. There's a sense of military-like sharpness to his movements, never quite slouching even when he's sitting down. This is due to years of proper behavior being drilled into him. Despite the stereotype for a swashbuckler, his body language seems somewhat prideful, and only compiles on other people's negative opinions of him. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] Extroverted iNtuitive Feeling Judging The Giver The fact of the matter is that Ally, for all the seriousness of his body language, is a bit of a joker. He's very prideful, both of his wit and of his intellect, and wield them like a tertiary blade. Whilst he was outside of the game, he was forced to constantly act like he was a soldier due to being left in his father's care, and so now that he's finally gotten away from him, he's allowing to release a few of his more primal urges. Whether this is through his constant desire to go out of his way to get into fights, or whether it be through using bad language, he's clearly someone who's been let out of another person's shadow for the first time in his life. However, whilst he might be somewhat juvenile in his sense of humor and his constant desire to prove himself, he's somewhat warmhearted to those who look for his help. He won't go out of his way to help people unless he's directly asked, maybe out of some sort of self-centered fixation or maybe out of a desire to remind people that he's worth something more than just another uniform, but when he's actually requested he will go miles out of his own way to make sure that the job that he's requested for is finished. Furthermore, jokes and everything aside, he has quite a firm grasp on morality. It is not, to be fair, the same kind of morality as everyone else might have, but he certainly has his own. Whilst he likes getting into fights, he doesn't fight anyone over ten levels weaker than himself apart from to protect others (of course, being level 1 he doesn't actually HAVE anyone in that position, but still.), he's kindly to children and people who clearly aren't adults yet, and constantly works at what he's interested in. The main issue, however, is that he is one cocky bastard. He honestly doesn't see other people as a serious threat to himself, even when they're much higher leveled than himself (after all, if he dies he just goes back to the Cathedral), and that leads him to underestimate a lot of people. This can even get to the point of being patronizing as he sees himself as someone who HAS to help people who are weaker, whether or not they actually want his help or not. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]Ally was born to a sickly mother and a career-focused father. His father was a military man who had been forced into retirement ever since his leg had been blown off during the Sierra Leone Civil war in 1992. He was somewhat embittered by this fact, and had retired from the military to lead a local group of scouts in their hometown of Leeds. He was famed for being a hard-ass and many people pulled their kids out of his group due to them complaining about his draconian actions. Unfortunately for Ally, he was only two years old when his mother passed away from Pneumonia. She'd had three bouts with it during her lifetime, each one progressively worse than the last before it finally took her in 2001. As such, he was stuck being raised by his father from his second birthday, which was basically a sentence to almost two full decades worth of hell. For years, he was raised as if he was a private in a military rather than a son, his father ignoring the majority of his events during his childhood. As you can probably guess, rather than be thankful of his father's work, he grew to despise the old man and spent as much time away from him as physically possible. Yet, whilst he might have liked to have nothing to do with the old man, there were some basic requirements for living under the same roof. The first one was that he was forced to attend his scouts. During his year as a beaver and a cub, he was somewhat of a joker and one of the more popular kids, deciding to get as much affection from his peers as he physically could as he never got any real affection at home. This split people's opinions about him - some felt like he was annoyingly pandering, whereas others saw him as a great friend. Obviously, he spent more time with the latter. As he grew older and older, he became more and more capable. By the age of 15, he was almost like a miniature Corporal. He'd been forced through training drills like those that a Private would have to go through, and his constant "surprise inspections" from his father meant that he constantly had to keep himself neat and organized to avoid getting yelled at for the sixth time that day. Every passing day, his hatred of the old man grew more and more intense. This strife at home caused him to sink more and more into online games. Thankfully, one of his friends from the days as a Cub allowed him to go around to his house a lot after school. In fact, during the Apocalypse, he had been around at his friend's house. His friend had gone to the bathroom before logging in so that he didn't have to go in the middle of a raid. This was, quite possibly, the worst timing ever as, whilst in the bathroom, Ally was forced into the game, leaving him stranded without any friends. Whilst this might seem like a hell for someone to go through, he almost rejoiced. Well, that's not true. For the first hour, he was freaking out about how it was going on, just like almost everyone else. However, when everyone else started feeling down about being trapped, he was overjoyed. It would have been another few months until he could afford to get his own flat and leave his father properly in real life. So, he'd missed a few months and was able to avoid him fully! No chance encounters, no risk of meeting him in the street, nothing! He was free, for the first time in seventeen years he was properly, truly free! At the same time, their weapons are pointed outward, cutting at any opponent that tries to reach at them. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 15 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Needlework: Due to the dexterity from which they perform their tasks, tailors are able to make up for any compromises in their ability. Any dexterity debuffs to a tailor can be recovered from twice as quickly. [attr="class","skill"]Scout: The Animal Trainer attempts to recruit a monster to their cause in order to create a temporary partner. This is often done by approaching the monster without startling or aggravating it. If performed successfully, a tamed monster will fight by the Trainer's side for a few minutes before control is lost and the monster returns to the environment. Certain situations might make this duration last longer or shorter; acts of kindness toward the tamed monster will make it stick around for longer, while excessive demand will make the Trainer quickly lose favor with the monster. Only one monster can be tamed at a time at the early levels. It is well-balanced and easy to use but doesn’t hit particularly hard at all. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can.
