[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]KUMIHO [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Ada, Fumina [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 21 [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Bisexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: Satsuki Kiryuin, KILL LA KILL [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: Fox [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"] Kumiho-san is a pretty thing, limbs and curves and smoldering fox eyes, as far away from Ada Fumina as night is to day. Kumiho-san walks with a ramrod straight back that never bends, holds her head high in the middle of a crowd, and her every move seeps with an regal aloofness. Her skin is unmarred by neither birth nor life. Her eyes are clear and open. While she does not smile often -- she smirks--, she has a good smile that can charm with sickening sweetness. Her hair is thick and black and long to the back, and her fingers are long and thin and danced in the air. Foxtail that she is, her fur is white as snow and white as day. Her ears stands proud at attention, and her tail swishes as she walks. Kumiho is a pretty little thing, is a pretty little dream. Ada Fumina is not a pretty little dreamer. Ada Fumina is a gangly, awkward little girl who dreams of being someone else, but cannot break her psyche enough to depart from her god-given body to leave this life. Ada Fumina is an awkward little child sitting crouched behind a computer screen, with too-pale skin marred by birthmarks and youth, too-large glasses hanging off her face, with scars running up her arms and mind and heart. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] Ada Fumina is a quiet little doll with lips that could not speak, but eyes that saw too much and ears that heard too much. Yet, she is a fiery little thing that longed to burst into flames, to burn her tongue with the ashes of spent words that howled past the winds. Ada Fumina is a shy young thing hiding in a too tight cocoon, biting down on word or desire because she felt much too ugly, much too conscious to dance beneath the sun. Yet, she craved that light, craved company, craved to lay her soul and heart bare and find applause instead of scorn. This combination of conflicting fears and desires had warped her, twisted her, and made her strange. In becoming Kumiho the Summoner, Ada Fumina found some release. Kumiho the Summoner can be an arrogant little witch, icy and regal with aloof with contempt. She can be pushy in her demands, and quick with her temper, lashing out with cruel words and swift revenge. Kumiho can be brutal in her methods, because everything goes as long as her demands are met. She is not kind. She is not nice. She is not gentle. She is not soft. Yet, Kumiho the Courtesan can be a sultry, burning flame of passion that burns iron and melts steel. She can put aside pride and arrogance momentarily to be slick as oil and bend like the willow. She can dig out the deeply buried warmth in her heart and smile kindly at children. All this is Ada Fumina. Ada Fumina is exploring the sides of herself that she had never dared to explore. Yet, Ada Fumina is also a fair woman. Treat her with fairness, and she will deal back in kind. At the end of the day, she's not the bad kind. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] When Ada Fumina was nine, Mama said let's go and the next day they were gone, Mama and Fumina and the little brother that was just born. They left Papa behind in Japan, and off and away they went. Mama was a British beau, with fiery hair and a face full of freckles and a feisty smile. Papa was a Japanese man, whose dreams and ambitions were wrapped in a lab-coat and and bloomed in a laboratory. They met when they were in college in Germany, Papa with his broken English and Mama with her broken Japanese, and somehow the sparks lit and everything felt right, and the next thing they knew they were married and in Japan. She was nineteen and he was twenty-four, five years and cultures apart. Soon they had a daughter, and that was Fumina, and although the child was born with a birthmark blocking half her face, the child was loved and cradled and always had a home to come back to nest. But somewhere between the age of six and nine, the relationship between Mama and Papa soured and turned bitter. Perhaps little girls shouldn't give up their dreams and marry too young. Perhaps men who placed their career first are destined to end up lonely. When Ada Fumina was nine, Mama said let's go, and that was the end of that chapter. They moved back to live with Mama's disapproving family in London, in a house too large and too cold to be comfortable, and too devoid of emotions to be warm. Grandmama always looked at her grandchildren with a sneering disdain, and soon Fumina learned to be quiet and silent and shrink into herself. School was not much better, with the crisp white uniforms of a private school that highlighted the girl's strangeness, her birthmark and her ethnicity and her otherness in every other way. She was teased and ignored and teased but ignored. She learned to be silent and fold her words back into her month, to crouch and stand low and look down because look at her face isn't it ugly-- Somewhere between nine and twenty she lost herself in games and virtual reality because virtual reality was better than reality. In virtual reality nobody stared and nobody laughed, and she could be someone else and something else and find release from her own ill-fitting skin. Log Horizon became her life. Here, she could be proud and stand strong, and life felt less wrong. [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"] -n/a |

If the material that the Summoner desires the Golem to be made out of is not around, they pay a higher price in mana to summon a golem of that type. Soil Golems are weaker in attack and health but are faster and regenerate quickly. Stone has decent attack, health, speed, and regeneration. Iron Golems are extremely strong in attack and health but lack speed and regenerative abilities. Based upon mastery the height of the golem goes from 1m, 2m, and finishes at 3m. [attr="class","skill"][Courtesan Sub-Class] Allure: A toggle skill that can be used anytime in a conversation with People of the Land. It allows the Courtesan to smooth over any mistakes and retain the target's attention. Often, this skill can also be used to obtain information that would otherwise require long interrogation. Allure's effect scales with the Courtesan's subclass level, becoming more effective at higher levels. [attr="class","skill"][Pharmacist Sub-Class] Detox: Pharmacists have developed a certain resistance around drugs and are immune to status debuffs caused by potions. Additionally, they recover twice as fast from poison status effects. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Armor: Starter Cloth Armor: A basic set of cloth armor made from cheap fabric. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. [attr="class","skill"]Left Hand: Apprentice Grimoie: A one-handed apprentice’s book of spells designed for novice mages, made out of cheap materials. Doesn’t particularly have too many pages, but it is better than nothing. If used by a magic class, you get the ability to shoot a basic magic attack with a range of 2 meters. [attr="class","skill"]Right Hand: Starter Whip: A starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap leather. It is well-balanced and easy to use but doesn’t hit particularly hard at all. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can. (Totally kinky by the way.)
