[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]TAIGA [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Touko Natsume [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 21 [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Pansexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: 96neko, NICONICO [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: 96Catzu [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"] Taiga and Touko could never be the same thing when you first look at them, other than her vivid golden hair and deep red eyes. The real world's Touko looks more frail, dressing in more feminine attire when outdoors. Touko's hair is long, straight, and flowing. When someone sees her, one can tell that she's not the sociable kind. She tends to avoid meeting eyes with someone, and the way she walks and moves around seems like she's trying to be as unnoticed as possible. Elder Tale's Taiga is an extremely outgoing and tomboyish girl with her hair messy and cut short. To those who are not the most observant, she even appears more as an effeminate male than a girl. Her attire is mostly more masculine pieces of equipment. Confident and aggressive in her gestures, she seems to be very comfortable in her steps. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] In real life, Touko can be described as a shut-in who prefers being alone instead of socializing with others. She is also extremely shy, backing out of conversation almost immediately. However, when she does so, she seems to have an air of disappointment towards herself. Suffering a massive inferiority complex, she tends to talk herself down. Her circle of friends is almost nonexistent, as when she does get herself to socialize with them, she always likes staying in the background laughing along and never initiating anything. To herself, the only things she cares about are her morals, her work, and her fantasy life. These are so precious to her, that the only times she is willing to put her foot down is when any of those are in peril. Taiga, on the other hand, is a completely different story. Extremely social towards those who she deems as similar in purpose to herself, she will never refuse socializing especially if it includes a good drink. In battle, she does not even think twice to charge headlong towards the enemy. Never showing any insecurity in her movements, she always strikes confidently and without hesitation. Even if she does make a mistake and completely lose, she treats it as fair game and simply laughs it off. To the annoyance of those she meets who take the game seriously after the Catastrophe, she still treats the game as she has always treated it: a fantasy to escape to so she can have as much fun as she likes, as a game where she can be carefree. Still, she keeps the values from real life of protecting what she considers precious to her. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] As a child, Touko was always taught to live life as dictated to her by her family. Being the only child, she didn't want to bring shame to her parents. This caused her to inhibit herself from doing the things she likes and always holding herself back from choosing her own future. Her family owned a big vineyard and of course, a local brewery. To her parents, she was the heir to their business and because of that, she was taught their art and trained intensely. When she grew to her late teens, an age where her parents considered her to be responsible for her own life, they gave her the business and left for their summer home to live a relaxed life. Immediately getting the business running, their business became even more successful than it was. However, it did not go without a few hitches. She gained a group of friends who seemed to finally give her what she was missing in life: excitement. Finally, she was able to go out with them on parties when she was not at work. Little did she realize that they were just using her to exploit her riches. Not wanting to lose her friends, she was usually the one who ended up paying their bills. Realizing this as the favors became more and more heavy, she started to spiral into depression and stress until most of her "friends" left her behind. What was left was one or two who actually saw her as a friend and not someone to leech money from. She wanted to live a new life, and undo all the mistakes that she's made. One of the friends she still had introduced her to a game he played called Elder Tale. When she was younger, her parents did not allow her to play any video games and she only did so in secret whenever she was visiting classmates. Elder Tale became her escape as she found the extremely immersing world as a new beginning to a life she can go to when stress of the real world becomes too much. She lived her fantasy after her hours managing her family's brewery, and she thoroughly enjoyed it. The world allowed her to create a persona of someone she has always wanted to be: a confident and strong-minded person who would not let others take her for granted, but still enjoy life to the fullest. When the Catastrophe happened, she woke up as her in-game persona Taiga. At first, she thought that she was just in a very vivid dream. When she realized that she was in Elder Tale, however, it was a shock to her at first. She worried about many things she left behind in real life, especially the brewery owned by her family. Eventually though, she just learned to accept it. She saw it as an opportunity that she has always been waiting for: an opportunity to live her life anew and do all the things that she has been holding back from in the real world. Of course, she still wondered what caused them to materialize in Elder Tale, but what she wanted was to enjoy the moment as much as she can. [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"]

It is activated when the monk uses an alcohol-based drink made by a Brewer. While inhibition by alcohol would normally lower fighters' coordination, this skill causes a heightening of some of the monk's natural reflexes, raising their evasion rate and providing a small chance for the monk to passively dodge attacks entirely. Still, this status only lasts as long as the effect of the drink. So please drink responsibly. [attr="class","skill"]Weeding: Toggle skill. Gardeners not only have a green thumb, but the ability to bring destruction to that which they give life. They inflict 20% more damage when fighting a Plant-type monster.
