Thanks to the Apocalypse he has now been left in a body that matches a short female version of himself. Bastion is around five foot two in height and has a slim but buxom figure with an overall athletic look to her. She has oddly pale skin, odd in the sense that it is not white but an impossibly pale olive colour that makes her look exotic. She has a small tattoo of a raven in flight on her right wrist, a match for one she had irl. She has a heart shaped face with full lips that often come to a natural pout. Her nose is a little long but sweet in its shape and made to look small by her eyes which are large, long and slightly slanted, both the colour of honey. Her hair is long and wavy, reaching the middle of her back though she mostly keeps it tied back now. It is a very dark brown which can easily be mistaken for black in a dark room. She is very fluid in her walking, making her seem very feline and predatory when she moves. Her movements tend to look carefully planned out and often are, mistakes are not acceptable. She has a liking for red clothing often wearing loose clothing out of combat to stop people from looking at her curves. In combat however she wears form fitting armour for ease in combat. Much like in real life however, she has a love of finely made clothing and will wear it regardless of that fact she is not originally a woman. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] While naturally a calm and collected person irl, becoming stuck as a girl has left Bastion a little broken. Forced to deal with what she has come to see as her “female problems”, her careful controlled face she wore as a man has come crashing down as a woman. Bastion is pleasant enough to talk to but has a short temper when faced with annoying situations. If pushed too far she will she has been known to chase people away from her just to have some time to herself. It can get so bad at times that she has become known by some as the “Posh Berserker”. Coming from an upper class family Bastion is very well spoken and often finds people with a more common way of speaking annoying, as if they are doing on purpose. She has kept this way of speaking even though she now have a very feminine (if imposing) voice, she is scared this may have been a psychological response to becoming a woman. She has a good sense of humour if a little odd and dark at times. She favours a more sarcastic stance on humour and will openly mock people she feels needs it. This being said she can be a good friend to those who she thinks are worth the trouble and is very loyal to her real friends. She can also very vengeful and spiteful against her enemies and those that have betrayed her, her trust is only given once. Emotionally the change has left her a little immature and shy. Despite always having been a bisexual man, she has not idea of how to approach matters of romance as a woman. It is in these moments that she can actually seem feminine, that and when she becomes enamoured by a beautifully tailored dress. Due to having a few sensory issues irl she has retained some her nature tics. She will often feel and tap things of interest, finding more in the sensation than others would expect. Annoyed over her current state she has chosen to specialise in making potions. She hopes that by using the overskill feature she can replicate potions that before could not be made. Due to her nature this has become something of an obsession to the point she now privately thinks of herself as a “witch”. Despite finding her present state annoying she is finding that she is growing used to her female body and is developing a small complex about turning back. She is not sure about what she would do if she had the chance to go back and has chosen to not think about it and focus on keeping herself entertained while half-heartedly trying to replicate a method of changing herself into a man again. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] While she may not seem like it to the people that see her in the game, irl Bastion is technically British nobility. He was one of only two men in a family of eleven which is mostly made up of his sisters and cousins who all live together in Ashcroft manor. He is the heir of his grandfather, Sabastian Ashcroft IV. Lord Ashcroft and its associate villages as well as Ashcroft limited and an elderly man who has not left the manor in three years. Management of the family estates is handled by his mother and in more recent years himself. He had a very privileged upbringing, attending a Private School of his Grandfathers choosing. Befriending all the right people once he graduated from Cambridge, with all the right praises and honours given to all the right people. Even he had to admit he was a sight to behold, a handsome young man with a title and a fortune waiting for him and all the signs of gaining one for himself. The lifestyle set out for himself however, grew tiresome and irritating. Despite this he kept at it, smiling at all the right times, arranging and attending all the right meetings, keeping the empire in line like a good little heir was supposed to. It was one of his cousins who put him up to playing Elder Tale, she joked with him that the best way to take a break from your life is to pretend to be someone else and he took this to heart. As Bastion he was now a she, a tiny blacksmith version of himself that only had to worry about what she had to do. He was not an overly diligent player, but enjoyed the game. He even worked it into his work life, using his “embarrassing hobby” to make him seem more accessible to his clients. Life became tolerable and he was interested to see what would come in life and in Elder Tales new expansion. In his mind he saw a dozen new swords he could make and sell, what he got was something very different. Finding himself stuck in the game and in the body of a woman half his natural size he was forced to adjust quickly. It took her days of crawling and staggering to adjust to her new body and when she dared to step out the first time to level up she was trapped and felt up by a group of male players before she was killed and sent back to Londinium. Angry and at her limit she tracked down each of them for revenge then set out to form whatever life she could in this new world. While now focused on finding some way for returning to man form again, her mind keeps drifting back to one issue. She is finding more and more that her goal has become less to return herself to her real gender and more to reclaiming her old weapon, won long before the Apocalypse reset her character.
