He decided to portray himself as he would want, something he envisioned people wanted him to be in terms of physical appearance. Out of game, Holly (or better known in the real world as Chris), is a fairly heavy, short twenty four year old male. He isn't overweight or obese by any means, but he does have several pounds added to his body that has made growing up really difficult for him. Short, black hair sits upon his head in a messy clump and he usually wears sits around in his room doing nothing, but playing video games. The one thing though that should be known is that he isn't ugly, but the weight he has is something he has always been self conscious about and thus, he decided to look differently in game. The in game appearance of Holly is something different, of course. Holly decided to abuse the character customization to make himself look how he would want to look. In game, he is much taller than his five foot real self. He stands a height of five feet, ten inches tall and has a fit frame weighing about one hundred and fifty seven pounds. He has brown hair that is slicked back some and is rather muscular. Light scaring upon his back to display sorts of battle scars and has an earring on his right ear. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] Holly is like many who play mmorpgs. They act very differently in game than they do in real life. Holly isn't an exception to that. He does tend to act differently in game than he would in real life, but there are some traits that he has kept. First the differences. In game, Holly acts incredibly courageous. He's a brave individual who is likely to tackle things head on with little fear. That being said, outside of the game he acts very much like he's wimp. He would tend to avoid confrontation at any cost and simply flight rather than fight. He's more flirtatious in game with women. He has come to a conclusion that since he's going to be in the game, he would try and use his new appearance to feel what it's like to approach women. He's more confident with himself. In the real world, he would never even consider talking to someone he liked. It's an added reason as to why he has never been in a relationship. Similarities lie with simple things such as him being a lover of food and being good at cooking. It was why he took Chef as a sub-class. He's also really clumsy. He is prone to dropping things, tripping over objects (or nothing at all) and even being socially awkward. He does try hard to make friends though and is really polite and kind with those who he is close to. It's something that he's cherished in the real world. Those who he finds closest will be the ones he trusts the most. That being said, it's not easy to gain his respect or trust. Another thing that is similar both in the real world and game is that he cannot dance for the life of him. He just has two left feet (metaphorically speaking, of course) and messes up different steps. One thing that he is good for is his leadership skills. He has played many mmorg's in the past and has lead many parties and raids and is confident in his ability. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] Christopher was born in the United States, but grew up in London as his parents were originally from England. He was an only child and was given whatever he wanted. He was fairly spoiled by his parents. As previously mentioned, Christopher grew up as a kid who was overweight who was made fun of over his school life. Thanks to that, Chris spent most of his childhood inside of his house playing video games. His parents urged him to leave and make some friends, but every time he mustered up the courage to try to do so, he was made fun of and even beaten up on occasion. After taken so much of the abuse, he just decided to permanently shut himself from the outside world and simply remained at home. He did his best to have his own social life, but online playing games with friends. Mainly MMORPGs, Christ made his own name for himself playing many different games and being one of the better gamers out there. Elder Tale was no exception. Before the apocalypse happened, he was only going to begin his journey as an adventure. In Elder Tale, he's only starting to understand what his new home has to offer. He hopes he can meet someone from his past or even start a new life here with new friends. These two actions trigger the second part of this skill, which delivers a heavy counter to punish a retreating foe. It effectively serves as a way to maintain the enemy's attention on the Guardian. [attr="class","skill"]MARKSMENSHIP: Passive skill. The Hunter's bow damage passively increases by 10% to all monsters and an additional 10% to beast-type monsters. Additionally, if the Hunter's main class would normally penalize them from using bows, this skill allows them to use bows without penalty. [attr="class","skill"]IRON STOMACH: Not even food poisoning can stop a dedicated chef! Chefs are immune to status debuffs caused by drinks and food. They also recover from sickness status effects twice as quickly. It is well-balanced and easy to use but doesn’t really feel too sturdy. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can.
