Her long, smooth golden hair, that complements her pale, purple eyes, flows all the way down to just below her waist. Her habits and movements portray quite obviously that she is an easy-going, happy-go-lucky and perky kind of person, much like one would expect if they assumed her to be a stereotypical dumb blonde; not a problem in the world and keeps the atmosphere in the immediate vicinity very lively. It is also important to note that she isn't at all that dumb, and that one false move whilst interacting with her can lead to a very humiliating beat down.  [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] Mavis is, by every definition of the word, an active extravert. Her attitude would suggest that she has Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder minus the "Attention-Deficit" part; she's quite intuitive on how to convert a menial task into something much more enjoyable (or at least, less boring). She gets super happy when she hangs out with and friends but very depressed when alone with nothing to do. She would most likely try to drag a friend out to do something in order to alleviate the depression, which works 99% of the time. That said, she loves being with nice people; she is often a good judge of character. Off-putting factors of her personality include the fact that she talks too much, is very naive, and cannot keep a secret no matter how hard she tries; her tells are always too obvious. In spite of the fact that she is very talkative, she tries hard not to annoy people by being obnoxious. If her companions need silence, she might just be able to restrain herself. Another factor is that she can be very childish at times, making prepared plans fall to ruin. That only happens when she has too much fun; a trait developed by being raised in a family of all men. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]Mavis' parents were living a life with no hardships whatsoever. They were young, but had every need and want delivered to the on the most expensive kind of platter imaginable. Living the life they did, they developed a sense of never wanting anything that could bring them any sort of trouble and a ways of getting rid off responsibilities. It was most unfortunate for Mavis; she was identified a burden and a nuisance. Despite having more than enough of every material resource needed to raise a child, the couple only feared how it affected their lavish lifestyle; they saw raising a child as something that would limit them. And thus, baby Mavis, wrapped in an old blanket was left at a local orphanage at a grungy neighborhood. The nuns that run the establishment took her in, pitying the abandoned little girl. Two years later, she was adopted. The couple who adopted her were barren and could not bare a child of their own- at least, not after their third son. Their fourth child- a daughter-to-be- died tragically due to miscarriage. Deep inside, they've always yearned for a daughter, and Mavis was ideal for them. They fell in love with little Mavis upon seeing her asleep in her crib, her long smooth hair glowing as if it captured the golden rays of the sun itself. It was fate... Or rather, just extremely lucky. There family itself was normal- average house, average pay grade; nothing out of the ordinary. They lived near the same neighborhood as the orphanage, so the grungy dark alleys and sidewalks aren't that far from them. Despite all that, Mavis was the little ray of sunshine that lit up everyone's hearts, and her brother's welcomed her into the family with open arms. The parents' only challenge in raising Mavis was the environment they were raising her in. It was a household dominated by rowdy males, after all. The eldest- a high school football player; the second eldest- a skate bum; the least eldest- a basketball enthusiast. Nevertheless, everyone loved her as family. As the years went by, it became apparent that this little lady spent quite a lot of time with her brothers. The siblings would occasionally play with together in one or the other's favorite sport. Other times, they would play video games together. While Mavis will always look feminine, the way she acts and behaves would be akin to that of a male's. Then, it was a long term of "the talk," followed by her emotionally conflicting transition through puberty. Her tomboyish attitude carried on to college wherein she had fully developed her own personality. The university Mavis was attending was out of town, but she still kept in touch with her family. There, she was quite the rowdy party-goer and was generally popular. It was during her time in college that she found out about the most-hyped MMO of recent times: Elder Tale. She picked up this little tidbit of news from one of her brothers. Mavis started playing so that she could relive the old days of playing video games with her siblings.
