[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]Inori [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Rei Kishimoto [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 17 years old [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Hetrosexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: Recolored Kuya-san (Artist: Tensa) [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: Inori [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"]In the real world Rei stood at a height around 5'2", which obviously caused her a bit of a problem when "The Catastrophe" happened. She's a thin girl with wavy ochre brown hair that's too long to properly take care of and more often than not, results in being a huge mess. Her skin is quite pale, though not to an extreme rate and whilst she ain't chubby or unfit, she isn't really fit either. Her eyes are a bit darker than her hair and you rarely see her with other expressions than a worried or unsure one. Her in game character however is quite the opposite of what she really is in the real world. Her height stands at 5'10" and as mentioned before, it caused her with problems when she got stuck ingame. She got straight hair and her hair color isn't really white, but it got a bleached shade that get very close to it. It's tied up into a long pony tail but she still got hair on the front that goes down a bit longer than her shoulders. It's a bit messy but it isn't in a way so that it looks bad. Unlike in the real world, Rei is playing as one of the tail fox race. This means that she also got fox ears and a furry tail (will increase in number with later levels). Her fox features got the same color as her general hair color, except the tip of her fox ears which gradualy shades down to a dark gray color. Her bodu is slim, really pale and she also got kind light brown eyes at that. Reis original goal with the appearance of this character was to make her as an astounding beauty, with the perks and parts that she lacked in reality. She wears a quite standard miko outfit. With a almost blood red hakama (long trousers), to put her hair up she uses red ribbons and she also wear a pure white haori (a white kimono jacket of sorts). On her feet she wear a pair of white tabi (divided-toe socks) and a pair of wooden getas. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]Rei has always been the shy girls that scurry away if there are a lot of people around, or if she were to be the center of attention at the moment. Ofcourse, this obviously created problems with friends and whatnot, which resulted in her becoming a bit of a Hikikomori (a shut in). She's unsure how to act in front of real people and worry to much about how people react to what she's saying. Losing her voice during a nerve wracking encounter isn't that unusual either. In the game on the other hand, Rei which now is Inori, is as confident in herself as she can be. In the years of which she spent in her own room, devoid of other people than her parents, Rei caught and interest in online roleplay. She didn't need to show herself in front of the others, she could look and act however she desired to and she didn't even need to directly talk to others. Though it took quite a while for her to gain the same mentality during the catastrophe as the one she had back when she played on the computer. In game she can be sociable if she really wants to, she's helpfull and friendly but is a bit of a lonewolf. Her love for roleplaying keept her to continue her act as a priestess and tries her hardest to act like a miko to those she's around. Despite her open friendlyness, she can seem as a bit serious at times. She have a weakspot against cute things abd her childish curiosity about lore and the world around her can at times also cause her a whole bunch of problems. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]As mentioned earlier in Reis personality, she haven't really been the brightest girl that's been surrounded by friends, seeking her attention. Her shy and most avoiding behaviour created many rumors and misunderstandings that oviously came to work against her. When she ignored her new classmates in a new school, rumors about her having high standards on people she commuted with. When she slapped away a guys hand in fear when he tried to get her attention created even more rumors like that she were looking down (despite her short stature) on people to an extent that she was disgusted with them even touching her. Due to the fact that she didn't have many friends, she ended up using a lot of her time into studying. Which also came to bite her in school, as people only saw it as another ploy into making people feel inferior to her. In the end, she broke into the pressure of being the attention of all these hostile glares and voices so that she shut herself into her room, vowing herself to never go back to that school any more. It was around this time when she found out about the game "Elder Tale". It all started from an ad when she was looking aroung the internet on her computer. Not only did the game itself look attracting, but it also gave her the idea of it being another chance of getting to know people. She didn't need to be herself in this new world after all, she could look different and even act different too. Little by little, Rei built up her confidence and love to roleplay at a slow but steady pace. She broke her own vow, but restricted herself from going to school for unless there was a test that she needed to take. Other studies and homework was sent to the teachers by other unpractical means. Her unexpected talent for english (in Japanese standards) brought up the suggestion of becoming an exchange student in Brittain. Doubts had emerged from Reis parents, but Rei however had reacted differently. With the news of the expansion of Elder Tale coming soon and that the Brittish would get their own servers piqued her interest. Her area of exploration was expanding and she could re-experience the game from a new world. Rei certainly arrived in England, but she never got the chance to meet her "new" classmates due to the catastrophe taking place. Not that she really minded though, except for the fact of that she needed to accustom herself into playing her character in first person. Now Rei as Inori is ready, and what adventures could now be awaiting her? [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"]Blood Type: B- Eastern Zodiac: Dog Western Zodiac: Libra Inori means "Prayer" |

Forms either a stationary barrier or a barrier around a target that continues to exist until the "energy" of the barrier expires. Energy will decrease slowly over time and decrease from damage taken. [attr="class","skill"]Spellwalk: A toggle skill that allows a character to cast a spell without forcing them to remain immobile during the spell's casting duration. It is an excellent skill to take for those who prefer an on-the-go strategy or at least a less vulnerable position. When the character moves while casting a spell, their movement speed is halved. This speed penalty decreases to 40% at Level 30, 25% at Level 60, and 10% at Level 90. [attr="class","skill"]Purgatory Barrier: This skill is initiated by casting the spell and creating a small sphere that can be thrown at a character or object. Upon contact, the sphere will form a barrier around the target and causes it to float about two meters into the air, suspending the target in mid-air inside the barrier. The barrier is broken as soon as it is struck by any sort of attack, giving it the fan name of "Purgatory Bubble." Of course, once the barrier is broken, the target will fall the full two meters, causing minor fall damage. This skill has a casting time of 3 seconds, a maximum duration of 5 seconds, and a cooldown of 15 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Prayer of Recovery: A Shamai's unique healing magic skill, allowing for a small amount of healing with a short casting time and cooldown, although with a low base healing effect. When cast, bright blue magatama jewels surround the target and the sound of small bells can be heard. Is often called "Mini-heal" by many, and can be used as a form of encouragement to others. In the post-Catastrophe world, the sound of bells this skill makes are often interpreted as "greetings or prayers of a Shaman wishing for a safe return". This skill has a casting time of 1 second and a cooldown of 5 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Reactive Barrier: Tier I Skill The shaman creates a reflective stationary barrier. Melee attacks that pass through the barrier during contact have their momentum reduced and offensive magic is partially returned to the enemy's direction. Essentially, this skill works as a filter. The target behind the barrier will still take most of the damage received, so it's not an absolute barrier. Ranged attacks and non-offensive magic will still affect the target normally, however. This skill has a casting time of 3 seconds, a duration of 10 seconds, and a cooldown of 20 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Hybrid Barrier: Tier I Skill A Barrier skill that allows for the caster to combine two barrier styles together for a hybrid effect. This allows for a Shaman to stack more barriers onto a single target in a shorter timespan. When this skill is used, two other Barrier skills can be cast at the same time onto a single target. The duration of the two barriers become the average of their maximum durations. This skill has a casting time of 2.5 seconds and a cooldown of 20 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Heavenly Defense: Tier I Skill The presence of a Shaman in the party connects the members with the spirits. Their ability to block (if they have a shield equipped) is increased by 3%. Their ability to parry (if they do not have a shield equipped) is increased by 3%. It is only possible to have one of these benefits based on equipment. [attr="class","skill"]Spiritual Boundary: Tier I Skill The Priest takes two fingers and swings their arm, drawing a 3 meter line in the ground in the direction their fingers were pointing. This line emanates spiritual energy which rises upward to form a 2 meter wall of light. Darkness-based attacks have their damage halved when passing through this ability and non-boss monsters of darkness attribute are unable to pass through the wall. Both this skill's duration and cooldown is 10 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Holy Aura: A skill that places holy protection upon the target, lasting for an entire hour. Characters affected by Holy Aura recover from Mind/Curse status effects twice as fast as usual. [attr="class","skill"]Needlework: Due to the dexterity from which they perform their tasks, tailors are able to make up for any compromises in their ability. Any dexterity debuffs to a tailor can be recovered from twice as quickly. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Armour: Starter Cloth Armor - A basic set of cloth armor made from cheap fabric. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. [attr="class","skill"]Right Hand: Starter Staff - A two-handed starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap wood. It is typically used to channel magic, but can also be used to whack people on the side of the head. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can. [attr="class","skill"]Left Hand: None. At low levels, this amount is essentially a player's entire amount, but higher level players will require a few in order to heal back to full HP. It has a toxicity rating of 0. After a player drinks potions with a total toxicity rating of 20, any potions taken afterward become halved in effect. Therapeutic Index applied. Medicinal Tablet L20: A healing pill that restores about 750 HP. It is generally considered more convenient than drinking a formula due to the player only needing to swallow or chew the tablet. It has a toxicity rating of 1. After a player drinks potions with a total toxicity rating of 20, any potions taken afterward become halved in effect. Therapeutic Index applied. |
