[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]Vulpecula [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Bertram Faulkner [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 22 [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Heterosexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: Toyosatomimi no Miko, TOUHOU PROJECT [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: VinnyDonuts [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"] Speaking in the plainest terms of appearance, Vulpecula is a slender but tall fox tail, measuring in at 183 cm and 64 kilograms. Her build is fairly thin and girlish, befitting the rather frail hit-point total that a healer would have. Her dirty-blonde hair is thick and fairly stubborn, tending to stick to a natural style rather than be tied into anything too fancy. Or maybe that's just Vul's incompetence with hairstyling? Either way, it gets worn short and loose all the time. Vul's eyes are shining gold, in what seems to be a pattern for her. They're sharp and commanding, but also very expressive. Vul never seems to be looking at one thing for too long. Her vulpine ears are constantly twitching even when Vul's focusing on something. The biggest part of Vul's appearance, though, is her demeanor. Her stature might be somewhat imposing, but it's nowhere near as imposing as her presence. She carries herself with an air of confidence and walks quickly and deliberately. Her constant looking around isn't so much fidgety as it is searching, constantly studying the environs. Her choice in clothing is just as loud as her personality. She prefers bright, contrasting colors, mostly Violet and Gold. Rather than changing her outfit constantly, she prefers a single, iconic outfit that lets her be recognized at a glance, mostly defined by a violet cape with a huge collar and a golden design on the back. In real life, Bertram very much had similar tastes in clothing, but now has license to try some more outlandish things now that he lives in a fantasy realm. Some say that her taste in clothing is reminiscent of a supervillan, but Vul takes that to be a sign that she's doing things right. Speaking of Bertram, his appearance in real life is very much different to Vul's, for many obvious reasons. Firstly, he's rather on the short side, so perhaps Vul is tall because Bertram would like to be taller, and Bertram's hair is black, not blonde. Bertram is still quite skinny, though. The most readily apparent change is in gender, but this choice is not a meaningful one for Bertram - He does not identify as a girl, and instead plays a female character simply because he likes how females look better than males. Bertram never intended to pretend he was female when Vul was just an avatar, but now he finds himself making a (rather convincing) girly voice whenever talking to people, simply because he wishes to avoid the subject of his gender if at all possible. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] Vul is very much the loud and commanding sort, pushy and agressive to perhaps the point of being bossy. Somewhat of a control freak, Vul very much prefers to be in charge, but isn't so bossy as to order around people she doesn't know. That would be rude! Instead, she likes to get to know a lot of people and usually ends up taking a leadership position naturally. She gets to know her teammates' abilities and personalities, and uses that knowledge to co-ordinate teamwork. She's competent at delegation and leadership but gets quickly frustrated if her teammates don't live up to her expectations. She also has little patience for other people's emotions, and can be quite cold at times. She doesn't mean to be cruel, but she has issues empathizing. Vul is always on the move and makes decisions quickly. It would be easy to describe Vul as hyperactive and impulsive, but that really would not be the case. Vul is actually quite careful in most cases, and prefers to plan extensively before doing anything. She hates surprises and prefers only to go forward with a plan of action when she's certain it will work. That isn't to say that she's incapable of improvisation, but she gets upset whenever things don't go her way. In any case, once she decides something, she tends to be dead-set on it no matter what. She can also get rather competitive, and tends to take everything seriously, even when it's just a card game. She always strives to be the best at everything, but this means she often splits her attention too thin between multiple activities and becomes mediocre in a lot of them rather than really good at one, and ends up frustrated and angry at herself because she keeps losing. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] Bertram's childhood was largely uneventful. Bertram grew up in London in a middle-class family, and he was rather popular in school, making friends easily. Something of a troublemaker, he often orchestrated large-scale pranks on the teachers that rarely ended well, though he grew out of it by the time he rolled around to high school. He enrolled in Sixth form and was voted Student Council president in the thirteenth year, and was valedictorian at the graduation ceremony. He was never the type to be second banana to anyone. He enrolled in London Business School right out the gate, and started working part-time jobs on the side to help pay for rent and food. However, his abrasive and domineering personality meant that he never got far, and hopped from job to job until he found a gig as assistant manager in a shakespearian theatre troupe - Neatly reflecting his days in high school where he took a drama elective. Always one to be in the center spotlight, Bertram has even participated in some of the plays. He's especially proud of his performance as Lady Macbeth, and keeps a recording of the play on his computer and likes to show it at parties. His friends joke that this is why he isn't popular with the ladies, but Bertram simply insists that he has no time for relationships, and that's why he's never had a girlfriend for more than three months. Video Gaming had always been part of Bertram's life, having been around it since a young age due to having two massively nerdy parents. Being the competitive sort he always perferred RTS or other such things, but his obsession with being good at everything prevented him from being great at a single thing, so he often gets frustrated with his own lack of talent in this respect. Bertram came into Elder Tale wanting to meet up with a bunch of his friends from real life to form a guild (Which he would be the guildmaster of, naturally) but the Apocalypse has dashed any hopes he may have had of finding his friends - He doesn't even know if they're trapped in the game with him, or what. He freaked out for a while about his situation, but in the end decided that his plan hadn't changed at all, and once again became determined to become a powerful and influential guildmaster.
