However, after the accident, he became cold and depressed upon being adopted by another family, with his step-parents ignoring him due to their jobs and scolding him for his poor grades. Due to this, he showed his anger upon learning they only adopted him so he can take over his step-parents' company when he grows up, which he's not interested at it. This caused him to shut himself in his room after school, pondering what will he do now that his parents are gone. Although he became cold to everyone else, he's not afraid to show his excitement and his adventurous side when he played some video games, especially RPGs. Also, whenever he's alone for a long time, he tends to go out to see other people, so he won't spend too much time on his video games, as his father taught him to see the real people around him to see what hardships he will face. And while he likes video games, he also likes to draw trees, animals, and other things he see outside. After he was trapped in Elder Tales, he still remains cold and serious, yet shows excitement and curiosity on his new reality. However, he still missed his parents, drawing sketches of them as reminders of his old and happy life. Despite feeling he wants to return to the real world, he felt he was relieved to escape from his step-parents and the pressure of his future. Socially, he doesn't have a problem on making friends as he often sympathize them whenever he see someone troubled. But whenever someone compliments him or a girl is hitting on him, he gets flustered easily. In battle, he's always calm even to the critical situation he faced. He's also not afraid of helping his teammates and follow orders without hesitation. However, when angered or insulted too much, he will become blinded with anger, attacking his opponent without mercy. In strategies, he's not good at coming up plans, but he sometimes won't rushed in without a plan. |

Biography
Born as the only child of a middle-aged London couple, he was loved by his parents very much. Despite being scolded and forcing to do chores sometimes, he still loved his parents no matter what. Everyday, he was taught by father about his own reality, the importance of never losing the truth right in front of him, always open up to others to help and give back, and to find his own path. Because of this, he dreamed of giving back his parents by helping them and find his path when he grows up.
However, his life changed when his parents are killed in a car accident, devastating him a lot. It didn't made him a lot better when he was put in an orphanage, which he was adopted by a workaholic couple who wished for him to take over their finance business. Because of his excessive scolding due to his grades, the strict tutoring, and the confiscation of his toys and video games, Ken grew cold and a loner, unable to make friends due to his parents' belief on friends distracting his studies and only goal to being the best. But upon remembering his father's words, he start drawing landscapes, buildings, animals, and especially his times with his parents when they are alive, creating physical memories and reminders to move on. He also take long walks whenever he feel lonely after multiple times he shut himself in his room to escape his strict studies.
Despite playing RPG games, Ken never heard of MMORPG until one of his classmates mentioned Elder Tales, an online game that is sweeping the nation, including Japan. Hearing that the game will be released in England soon, he secretly read game guides online after his homework and tutoring and sometimes asked half-Japanese students about the game.
On the day of the release, he was scolded again by his parents due to not only his bad grades, but also on secretly playing video games and drawing during homework and classes. Completely enraged and depressed, he decided to play the newly installed Elder Tales on his computer as his one last attempt to find adventure in his bedroom, with him wishing that he want to find his own path like his parents intended.
His wish came true in a form of the Catastrophe, where he and thousands of Elder Tale players are transported into the game world. He was horrified about being trapped in Elder Tale world at first, but remembering his father's words, he decided that this is another way to start over and find his path without turning rogue as he starts to wander his new reality as an Assassin.
Inventory
Starter Leather Armor: A basic set of soft leather armor made from cheap leather. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it.
Starter Scythe: A starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap iron and wood. It is well-balanced and easy to use but doesn’t hit particularly hard at all. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can.
Parchment Paper (Level 1): Decent quality paper brought up by Scribe Papyrus by taking old pieces of paper, soaking them together, then merging the fibers together to create a paper that doesn't tear quite as easily. Its quality depends on the level of the materials used to make it, but even still, it's just about as durable as a thin piece of paper.
Quill Pen (Level 1): A feather pen that has been refined by Scribe B. Franklin so that its writing is fairly consistent. Much as a blacksmith's signature tool is the hammer and a tailor the needle, this can be considered the scribe's main tool. The Quill Pen is not used up during a craft.
Unfounded Kingdom Map - London Area (Level 1): A largely incomplete map of the Unfounded Kingdom with a basic template designed by Scribe Hearst, focusing on the London area. Just having it in your possession gives your minimap interface the map data that was recorded on it. Due to maps created by the Britain Royal News, most players are able to obtain a decent starting map that aspiring Scribes can copy to complete their own map. Otherwise, new map data can be filled in by simply standing in the middle of an uncharted area and gently pressing the quill pen down upon the parchment. While it is possible for anyone to fill in a map, certain subclasses like Scribe, Pathfinder, and Courier have the advantage when it comes to filling in larger portions of the map.
Windsor Antiqua Scythe: Lv5 two-handed polearm. A scythe that consists of a slightly reinforced metal blade atop a long wooden shaft. It is a mass-produced generic weapon created by the People of the Land, and so is a little more expensive to buy than if one were to normally craft a similar-quality weapon.

Windsor Antiqua Leather Armor: Lv5 leather armor. Leather armor that balances out defense and mobility. It is a mass-produced generic armor created by the People of the Land, and so is a little more expensive to buy than if one were to normally craft a similar-quality armor.
Apocrypha Board (Level 20): A Skateboard crafted by Mechanic Hirosame, with the Apocrypha logo on the bottom. This generic style guarantees safety and satisfaction from the guild, Apocrypha. This board performs well in the streets, but does little to nothing on dirt or rocky paths.
Black Blade of Shadows by 黒: Level 11 One-handed Blade. A long sword with the blade colored in raven black which was created in conjunction for scythe users. Due to the blade's coloration, it's very useful for any ambushes especially with any assassination missions. Effect: Level 5 Speed stat increase and Level 6 Fatal Ambush attack speed increase.
Crab Helmet - Level 20 accessory. A head accessory that resembles a crab that pinches enemies that get too close to the wearer. Reforge (unremovable): Adds the [Spike] status effect to the user (deals slight physical damage toward any opponent that attacks the character with a physical attack)

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Assassin
Quick Draw: [Tier I Skill] A skill focused on delivering a quick strike at the opponent. By gripping the weapon tightly and locking one's gaze toward a nearby foe, the player's body will quickly dash over to the target and perform an attack. Alternately used by ranged users to fire projectiles at a faster than usual pace. This sudden movement takes many unprepared opponents by surprise. This skill has an animation time of 0.25 seconds and a cooldown of 15 seconds.
Accel Dance: [Tier I Skill] Physical Attack The sister skill to Deadly Dance, focusing in increasing the Assassin’s speed rather than their power. As the Assassin strikes their foes, they enter a state of mind where they can release some of their body’s natural limiters, allowing them to increase the speed of their attacks. The repeated usage allows the Assassin to descend deeper into this state and increase their attack speed even further. While originally designed for melee attacks, as it is more of a state of mind, the technique can be applied to ranged attacks as well. This skill has an animation time of 0.5 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds.
Deadly Dance: [Tier I Skill] Physical Melee Attack. A skill that uses the Assassin’s angular momentum in order to increase the damage of their attack. The Assassin jumps and spins in the air while gripping their weapon, then lands onto the opponent and delivers a downward slash. The key of Deadly Dance is to accumulate angular momentum, so users might find it advantageous to use the skill multiple times in succession. This skill has an animation time of 0.5 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds.
Hiding Entry: [Tier I Skill] Self Buff. One of the basic stealth magics of the Assassin. A signature move of the Assassins, known for being able to hide in plain sight, that allows them to bend light around them and become invisible to the naked eye for an extended period of time, up to ten minutes. Offensive actions, stabbing a target for instance, immediately break the magic used to hide the Assassin. The spell itself can be a bit taxing to the Assassin and can only be used sparingly. This skill lightly drains the user's MP upon use and has a cooldown of 30 seconds the moment it is canceled.
Trinket Work: [Tier I Skill] A skill focused on decreasing the player's aggro presence. By crouching down and holding the stance for a few moments, the player will release a visible purple aura from their body for ten seconds. For the duration of the aura, the player will be able to attack a monster while keeping the monster's aggro level upon the player low. This skill is effective in a party for when one wishes to perform attacks without attracting the attention of the enemy. This skill has an duration of 30 seconds at base level. Its duration increases to 40 seconds when the Assassin reaches Level 30, 50 seconds when the Assassin reaches Level 60, and finally 60 seconds when the Assassin reaches Level 90. Its casting time is 2 seconds and its cooldown is 60 seconds.
Cardinal Rose: [Tier I Skill] A skill that distinguishes a character's ability to be a good navigator. It is a toggle skill that uses a negligible amount of mana when it is activated, causing an icon of a compass to appear in the bottom right corner of the character's vision. As long as this skill is active, the character will always know which direction is north. This skill is particularly effective when exploring in uncharted territory.
Hide Walk: [Tier I Skill] Self Buff. Even the novice Assassin must be adept at stealth. Known for being able to meld into shadow or disappearing behind cover, Assassins can become invisible to the naked eye for just a moment before dealing a deathly blow. It is not a perfect technique however, as those carefully watching the Assassin can see through their tricks. This skill has an duration of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 20 seconds.
Quick Swap: [Tier I Skill] A skill that facilitates the quick switching of weapons from the user's equipment to their inventory. While many characters use quick slots in order to swap out their weapons, this requires a manual action. The use of Quick Swap does this exchange automatically. This switching can only be done with two equipment sets at a time, both of which are registered prior to the start of battle. When Quick Swap is used, the current equipment set will be swapped out to the other set designated by the skill. Due to the nature of this skill, it is best used by characters of the Weapon Specialist classes. This skill has an animation time of 1 second. Its cooldown if used by a Weapon Specialist class is 30 seconds which increases to 60 seconds if used by any other class.
Fatal Ambush: [Tier I Skill] Physical Attack. Assassins are known for their deadly strikes, often being able to slay in a single strike. This technique is the first of the many massive damage attacks the Assassins have under their repertoire. It is a crude version however, a novice skill that serves more as the basis and foundation for future, more poetic, techniques. Requiring a long preparation time, the Assassin must focus onto their target, limiting their perception and leaving them vulnerable to other attacks, as they search for a weak point. Then by focusing all of their strength into one strike, the assassin strikes their target with all of their might into a single point, dealing critical damage. The mental exertion required taxes the mind heavily however, and the technique can only be used sparingly. This skill has an casting time of 5 seconds before it may be used. When it is used, Fatal Ambush has an animation time of 1 second and a cooldown of 60 seconds.
Death Stinger: [Tier I Skill] Self Buff. Poison, a classic tool of assassins but honor less by nature. By coating their weapons in these foul concoctions, the attacks of an Assassin have a chance to poison their enemies, slowly chipping away at their health overtime. Users of this technique must be wary though, as anyone struck by the blade can be poisoned, even the users themselves. This skill has a casting time of 5 seconds and a cooldown of 30 seconds.
Aura Saber: [Tier I Skill] Swings the weapon around the user's body in a faint aura, then crashes it down upon the enemy. Multiple enemies can be struck by this attack by they are adjacent to the target. This skill increases targets' aggro on the user more than that of a regular attack. If this skill is used by Monks, the user will deliver an aura-enhanced swinging punch that delivers the same effects. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 5 seconds.
Hearing Aptitude: [Tier I Skill] A toggle skill that improves the character's hearing perception. Whispers can be heard from about 2 meters away, conversations can be heard up to 10 meters away, and the hearing range of the most distant sounds are doubled. It is a very effective skill for the sake of gathering intel and eavesdropping.
Roleplay Class: Tracker
Silent Move: [Tracker Level 1 Skill] A skill that deadens the user's movements whenever traveling, preventing them from making any sound while walking. In exchange, the Tracker's movement speed is reduced by 50%. For every 10 levels the tracker gains in their subclass level, this debuff is decreased by 10%. After Level 50, the debuff is eliminated completely.
Eagle Track: [Tracker Level 11 Skill] The tracker can designate a visible target to track. The target's form is highlighted and can be seen through walls and other obstacles from a short range and their footprints are highlighted for up to an hour. These footprints are visible only to the tracker. Upon obtaining this skill the user can track one target and can track an additional target every ten levels after.
Crafting Class: Artisan
Carving: [Level 1 Artisan Skill] Toggle skill. Artisans have a certain affinity with carving stone, making their normal artistic talents not to be underestimated in battle. Artisans deal 20% more damage to Rock-type monsters. They can also ignore defense buffs on Rock-type monsters.
