[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]TALI [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: William Hallman [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 19 [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Heterosexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: Real Word-Tamaki Suoh, OURAN HIGH SCHOOL HOST CLUB In-Game; Saber (Original Drawing by Shiro Tsumekusa), FATE/EXTRA [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: Whammy [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"] Real Life Appearance: Reference In real life, William is a young man, standing in about 6’ tall and relatively thin frame. The most catching features about him are his blonde hair and blue eyes. His hair is kept in excellent condition but has a playful messiness to it as well. His eyes are very expressive, as well as most of his features due to his tendency to be kind of extreme with his emotions at times. His frame is thin, but he is well exercised enough that it doesn’t look like he is starving or anything like that. In terms of clothing, his preference was towards the more formal, often enjoying wearing a dress shirt and tie with a blazer and equally formal dress pants and black loafers. However he also had plenty of casual outfits, such as jeans and t-shirts, for when he was going to be particularly busy or didn’t feel up for getting too dressy. Despite the formality of the look, however, William did his best to appear welcoming and inviting, always up for talking with someone or making friends. In-Game Appearance: Reference William had designed his in-game avatar to be more of the way of…experimental. His decision to play as a female was inspired more by curiosity than anything else; it was not his expectation he’d be stuck in the form after all. Besides, there had seemed to be an appeal to the lithe, fluid motions of a female assassin carving their way through the battlefield, or using their wits and charms to bypass their opponents off of it. So in designing her, he had gone for something that he had considered appealing to look at. Long, blonde hair wrapped up in a ponytail to keep it under control, striking green eyes colored like a deadly poison, a thin and lithe body perfect for movement and acrobatics. And the clothing design? Eh, he admits not the most practical choice in real life, but he had designed for aesthetics and appeal, with a touch of the exotic. Because of that, he now finds himself dressed in leather pants, bands on the side for daggers and throwing knives as well as a satchel to hold the potions. For upper body, leather straps that cover the breasts and meet at a golden neck ornament. Originally while playing he tried to appear more serious, but now that her existence is a more permanent part of his, the more relaxed posture is more common. Even he has to admit there is something funny about watching his more expressive behavior being expressed through the more serious-looking face of his avatar. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]For someone who is an assassin, William is a rather amiable fellow. Sure, when he had originally designed the character it had been to play out being a serious, slightly cocky character like all the fun assassins in media, but, well, that fell apart once he had to actually be his creation. There is still a bit of cocky arrogance to him, despite the oddities of his situation, but overall he remains a rather friendly and open person. He enjoys talking to others and making friends, is rarely silent in a social situation, and extroverted to the point of trying to be the center of attention, though willing to sometimes share the spotlight with a good friend. Sometimes. One of his more obvious traits, for better or for worse, is he’s rather open with his emotions when the situation provides. He is very expressive, making sure everyone knows what he his thinking. Approval is often met with laughter and smiles, disappointment with pouts and moans, pleading with puppy eyes-annoyingly improved by his current appearance-and other such things. Due to his desire to try and be friends with everyone, however, he’ll often try and hide when he’s truly sad in order to keep them from having to worry about him. Despite being a character built for stealth and backstabbing, William is sort of a trusting fellow. Generally assuming the good in people, and his own honest nature, he usually assumes others are being honest and good unless something is alerting him otherwise. Even then he likes to give people the chance to prove him wrong and turn out to be good people. In-game this has gotten him killed a couple times from some of the more treacherous denizens of the world, but he still prefers to think of strangers as being good more often than not. Finally, the gender thing. He had created his character as something different from himself; he wanted to try being a bit more bloodthirsty, a bit more treacherous. After all, what was the fun being exactly like yourself in a roleplay game? The choice of a female character came primarily from curiosity and boredom. Now that it is a more permanent part of his existence, he’s gotten used to it but still prefers to think of himself as male in his own mind. For most interactions, however, he pretty much lets it slide and just let people think of him as a “her”, and in terms of name pretty much just uses “Tali” since that’s what people will see of him anyway. In fact, when dealing with people who don’t know about the gender differences or People of the Land, he kind of enjoys putting on the “Tali” persona. In this “she’s” a little more in control of his emotions, trying to put on a bit of a “mysterious” air to “herself”. Taking full advantage of the Courtesan subclass also means he has to get a little flirty sometimes, something he’s comfortable doing regardless of the gender of the target. After all, a good assassin has to keep an open mind. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]William comes from a relatively well to do family, with his father in business and his mother an attorney. Because of this his childhood was pretty free of any major worries and concerns outside of the usual expectations given of a child in his situation. It was mostly the normal stuff; grow up, do well in school, go to college, continue with the family success, etc. And generally speaking that was what he did; he did quite well in school, usually placing in the top 10% somewhere. His personality often meant he’d be participating in the extracurricular as well, though not being a particular fan of being in charge he never really ran for any leadership positions. It was more fun to be the member, not the leader, of a group, even if his natural charisma meant he’d often be a sort of pseudo-leader. Like any person, however, he had to have hobbies, and the realm of fantasy always drew his attention. Knights and wizards, princesses and princes, castles sieged by a cavalcade of vast, unending armies; why wouldn’t you want to read about that? And of course his family was well off enough to support a gaming habit, giving him plenty of chances to get sucked into the fantasy worlds he loved. It always seemed more exciting than the real world, and when technology improved to allow for immersion gaming, he jumped right on it. When he eventually bought Elder Tales he decided it was time to try something a little different. In most games he had played the dashing knight in shining armor, a sword and shield ready to strike down enemies of justice. But this time around, well, he figured it was time to mix things up. The Assassin class had drew him in as the perfect opposite to his past performances. Instead of shining armor, he hides in the shadows. Instead of armor and shield, he had stealth and tricks. The choice of gender was a little odder, but something about it fit. A lady of shadow and stealth using her wits and charms to lure their targets to an unsuspecting death? Seemed a perfect fit to him. And roleplaying games were all about trying out new roles, right? He started playing about the time graduation from high school occurred and he was transitioning to college. The timing was perfect as it was just in time for a new expansion to be coming out for it called Novasphere Pioneers. He played a little bit to get used to things in preparation, but nothing could really prepare him for what would happen… [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"]

By coating their weapons in these foul concoctions, the attacks of an Assassin have a chance to poison their enemies, slowly chipping away at their health overtime. Users of this technique must be wary though, as anyone struck by the blade can be poisoned, even the users themselves. This skill has an animation time of 1 second and a cooldown of 30 seconds.
