[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]Whiteeyes [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Christopher North [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 27 [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Asexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: Kitty Madoka, MADOKA MAGICA FAN ARTS [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: Whiteeyes [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"] Christopher is a rather unassuming white guy in appearance. He is about six foot even, and weighed in at about one seventy pounds. A decent build, he wasn't really out of shape or anything but he was hardly somebody you'd mistake for an athlete. He had dark brown hair that grew thick and naturally had a slight curl, making it a pain to comb and wash. Clothing wise he tended to wear either subdued casual cloths, polo and jeans, when out and about. His glasses were slim and well styled metallic frames, not bulky plastic things. He also could usually have used a bit of a shave, having regularly left stubble from a quick shave. Whiteeyes looks nothing like this. For starters, she is a were-cat. And also a she. She stands at about four foot six, and has a very slim, sleek look to her. Her fur is a solid pastel pink color, and her eyes are almost colorless, having been tweaked to the lightest color of blue possible for the nickname. She wears a rather cute blouse and skirt combo, both powder blue, and has a large bow of the same color on the back of her neck, the wrapping coming forward like a colar. Her appearance was designed around the idea of appearing cute, as Chris had no idea he'd wind up as her and simply liked designing cute characters. As a short hair, it doesn't take her much work to brush her fur in the morning, and she dries of very quickly from her occasional baths. In all honesty, she almost looks like a fancy show cat that just happens to walk on two legs and is pink. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] Chris appears to be experiencing a bit of a split personality deal. Some of it deliberate, but other parts appear to be more subconscious desires being expressed. What parts are acting and what parts are really him is sometimes up for debate, even for himself. North has always been a more casual fellow, quick to joke and very laid back. He is not very ambitious, more interested in having fun than being successful. He's very quick to forgive an doesn't hold grudges. He's a bit more of the inspired type, always bursting with ideas. Sadly, he lacks the discipline and drive to really follow through on them, and isn't the best planer when he finally does try something. He is also a devout Roman Catholic and has mused on what God's plan is with the catastrophic change in reality, and if this is a test of some sort. He has also considered trying to evangelize, but has nowhere near worked up the courage to do so yet. He has no clue how the People of the Land would react, let alone his fellow PCs, and fear of backlash means it'll probably never happen. While Christopher still acts this way in private settings with those he considers friends, in public he behaves quite differently. While in the real world Chris did his best to blend into crowds and not draw attention, Whiteeyes is radically different. She is rather aggressive, refusing to let anyone push her around. She also has a tendency to be rather a show off, and seems to have a bit of a superiority complex though not to the extent of illusions of grandure or invincibility. She is very much aware of her game stats limits thank you very much. She is very guarded, and doesn't like to let others close. This is partially due to Chris's own shyness and concerns about being "outed", but also because she's finding a lot of people aren't living up to her suddenly higher standards. She doesn't look down on you because of your race, gender, class, subclass, level, guild, or gear. She looks down on you because you are not her. Despite some potential perverted possibilities that finding himself with a female body might present, Chris has taken advantage of none of them. Indeed, the thought never really occurred to him much beyond the occasional feelings of guilt for using the ladies restrooms. As an asexual, he feels no attraction to either gender, or anything else at all, and so what body he is in is almost purely academic as far as he is concerned. This has helped him avoid a lot of the mental pressures and identity issues that seem to plague those who got gender flipped. Not that he would complain if he was a guy again mind you, it would just feel more honest, but it is not a priority. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] Christopher North was born as the oldest child of a loving middle class couple in Yorkshire. The oldest of five kids, two boys and three girls, he often felt ignored by his parents and learned how to entertain himself. This resulted in him developing a very active imagination partially because his parents didn't believe in using videogames or television as babysitters, and because he often didn't have anyone his own age to play with. Sadly, he grew up in an older neighborhood with no other kids to play with besides his siblings; the youngest neighbors were already in their teens by the time he went to primary school. Having little experience in dealing with peers, Chris became very shy and withdrawn. He made few friends growing up, and many of those were just casual ones. It wasn't until he met Peter Black that he discovered a new means of making friends. Multi-player videogames. He'd found a social hitch were he could accel. Videogames were a safe topic to discuss that provided a common frame of reference and something you could do with friends. Even better unlike sports and board games you could even play them by yourself if nobody else was around. Chris had found his hobby, and spent most of his afternoons at the local arcade. By the time he was in high school, MMOs became a thing that entered popular consciousness. Sure, before there were LAN parties and online MUDs, but full blown MMORPGs were brand new territory. And what's more they didn't require a room full of computers and friends or an understanding of programming language to use. Anybody with a non-crappy computer and the Internet could play, for 15£ a month. The subscription fee was the ultimate barrier for a young Christopher. Unable to find employ at the time and with his parents unwilling to pay, he never got into MMOs. It was only after he dropped out of university (he couldn't handle higher concept learning sadly) and got a steady job as a bartender at a local tavern that he could afford to play these games. The problem was that all the big ones, Forever Questing, Elder Tale, War of the Worldcrafters, and Project: Earth were full of well established player bases, guilds, and experts who knew when you messed up. Being a little intimidated he instead joined newer, more casual MMOs, especially with the rise of "free to play" models that let one try a variety of games to see if they suite you before you dedicate yourself to them. And a good thing too, a lot of the games he tried were just tedious or poorly designed. One of the worst, Fist of the Emerald Sea, held his personal record of frustration. Six hours and fifteen quests, and he wasn't even level three yet. It was a grind fest, and he's never even considered going back. While he did find a couple of more casual MMOs he did enjoy in his free time, he often looked at the big ones with a bit of longing. And then the news came, Elder Tale was getting a new England server, they had finally finished the area for local play and adventure. And everyone who joined would be making a brand new character, and nobody knew what all the quests and such where. They were expecting the usual rush of new players for an expansion, and this time Christopher intended to be one of them. A chance to join the big leagues on equal footing with others was rather appealing, and helped mitigate his nerves about being a noob. So he got the game and set everything up, making sure his connection was good and that he had a computer powerful enough to run it so that the graphics were decent at least. He then created his usual character type, a small and cute female, and was ready to play. When he woke inside the city as Whiteeyes, her first words wound up being "Well, now I wish I had made her taller." [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"]* Blood Type A- * Born under the sign of the Dog on March 15th. *Enjoys peanut butter and cheese sandwiches. Hey, don't knock it till you try it. * Prefers wine, especially white wines. * Sometimes wishes she had a tail, just to see how that is. * Is scared of spiders, snakes, the dark, and heights. * Thinks rats are adorable and wants one for a pet IRL. * Favorite Season is Fall, Hates Summer. * Minds being short more than the gender change. * Actually sounds female now, like a young woman. Not sure how that happened. archive.org/web/. |
