Crafting Recipe Proposed:
Explanation: Realizing that one could not hope to outrun their adversaries every single time, he attempted to recreate the smoke grenade from the real world, though without much success due to differing materials on hand. Due to these limitations, he decided on using a flask rather than try to copy the original design and use a metal canister as flasks were more easily available and using a metal canister with air holes would mean that the smokescreen would not be spontaneous, which may be required in certain situations for either a surprise attack or a quick getaway.
Taking into consideration that a situation may call for it to be thrown, he chose to add in the slow burning powder rather than one that burns quickly so as to give users some time to do exactly that. If one wanted a smokescreen fast, they could always channel mana to the border of the igniting powder separating itself from the smoke-inducing component.
Assumptions:
- Mana can pass through common materials such as glass, wood, etc.
- People realize I'm not thinking about the conical flask, but rather a volumetric flask with a larger base and possibly indents along the neck to improve grip

Crafting Recipe Proposed:
Smoke Grenade
Materials Required: 4 Base Herbs
Posts Required: 3
A flask containing powder derived from plants which can produce smoke spontaneously when ignited. The neck of the flask contains powder derived from a herb which burns slowly when it comes into contact with mana, which can be released through the flask. This gives the user a maximum of three seconds to prepare before the flask explodes and releases a large torrent of smoke.
