Hiding Rescue (Solo)

As the trees' leaves danced while the wind blew them in a clear morning, the 12 year old Assassin walked into the forest with a serious expression on his face. It's been days ever since he set foot in Windsor Greatwood during his first days in this new world as he planned to train his new skills, test out his new scythe crafted from a known blacksmith Adventurer, and fill up his map with new areas in the forest that sidetracked the road to another city. However, those are not the only reasons he was here as he promised a Lander something.

A few hours ago, Eniko was wandered around the city of Londinium when he saw a woman came back from the Greatwood, injured and bruised. Upon he saw this, he quickly rushed to her aid as he grabbed her and slung her arm to his shouder before he said, "Ma'am, are you okay?!" However, she only replied with a cry as she said, "Ren, please. Don't Ren die, please!" Upon he saw the mental state after what she had been through, Eniko decided to rushed to inn he was currently staying.

When he arrived in his room, he let the woman lied down on his bed and poured a cup of water so she can have something to drink. "Here, drink this." Eniko calmly said to the woman. "If you stressed too much on who you are looking for, chances are that he or she might be dead if you keep panicking." He felt those words might be blunt, but he had to calm the woman down before she might get hysterical. Despite this, the woman took his words to her heart as she calmed down and drank the water that the Assassin gave her. "So, tell me what happened."

As the few seconds of silence started, the woman was reluctant to share her problems to an Adventurer at first until she saw his eyes as he stared at her in concern, realized that he was worried about what just happened earlier, which she then spoke, "It's my son, Ren. He was playing with his friends a while ago when I heard his scream. When I arrived, his friends told him they went out of the city for a while to dare one of them when a big monster grabbed him and took off into the woods." Eniko was surprised. A big monster took her son? That was a weird behavior for a monster in a MMORPG. But judging from where he was, he knew that they might have a conscious or something. He suddenly became suspicious at this mystery when he thought at these theories as he asked, "A monster grabbed him? Did you asked his friends what they are playing and what kind of monster they saw?"

But the woman nodded no and said, "The children only said a rock monster came in and took him. That's all I can tell you." A rock monster in Windsor Greatwood? Eniko felt that might be a monster he never encountered before. Regardless, he knew that he can't ignore this as he took one option left. "Well, I can't take any chances. Whatever took you son might have been a strong monster. Which I felt I should go into the Greatwood and rescue him for you." The woman became shocked to this until he continued, "If it's true about the monster kidnapped your son, you have no chances against it. However, I felt that I'm the only one available to this situation, which it might be appropriate to help you."

"But, they said there are monsters deep within the forest that even in your skills can't handle." the woman warned him in worry, which Eniko guessed that "skills" was meant for his level. However, he was already prepared for that situation as he said, "Don't worry, I'm an Assassin and with my Tracker subclass, I'm more specialized in stealth. So don't worry, I'll bring your son back in one piece."

Upon he saw his serious persona along with his determination, the woman realized that he might able to save her son, which it managed to help her spirits up. "I see. Thank you, Adventurer. Might I ask for your name?" When he saw the woman now finally calmed down and freed from her worries, the 12 year old Assassin smiled as he answered, "Eniko."

Back in the present, Eniko stopped walking and pulled out his quill pen and map to draw in some new areas as he was now deeper part of the forest, which was much farther than he traveled before. Yet, another thought came up in his head. When he met the Lander, he felt like he wasn't in a conversation with a NPC, but a real person, which was the same feeling when he talked to his classmates and his neighbors in the real world. And also, if Adventurers can revive after they were killed in a battle, then what about the People of the Land? As he thought of that scenario, he quickly shook it in horror, realized the changes to this new reality despite it was only a theory.

"I can't waste anymore time. I need to rescue that kid before it's too late." That's all he can say as he finished filled up his map with the areas he was in before he returned his items to his satchel and took off into the deeper part of the Windsor Greatwood, now aware of the consequences if he can't save the Lander in time.

Within the deep area of the forest, Eniko not only ran into the woods, but he also jumped from tree to tree as he tried to find the monster who kidnapped the Lander's son. And despite being a theory for now, he was still worried about him if that happened. But just as he continued running into the forest, he was quickly stopped when he bumped onto someone and when he recovered, he saw an angry-looking man glaring at him as he wielded some sort of ax and a bow and quiver of arrows on his back, which he realized what he did and said, "Oh, sorry about that, sir. You see, I heard that a child got abducted by a monster and I was in a hurry to save him..."

"That doesn't mean you have to bump into me by accident, you brat!" The man shouted in anger, startling the young Assassin. "And shouldn't kids like you play in here?! It's dangerous, you know!" A child?! Sure, he maybe a normal 12 year old boy back in his world, but he was still an Assassin in this reality. "Wait, although I'm 12 years old, I'm actually an Adventurer and I need to get into the deeper parts of the forest to rescue the Lander's son."

However, the man didn't believe him as he pushed him away and said, "Yeah, right! Listen kid, if you want to save your skin, then get out of here! You'll get nothing but death, got it?" With that warning he gave him, the man left the forest, which left Eniko in confusion. "Huh? "Get nothing but death?" What does that mean? No matter, I still need to get going." He said before he continued his search. However after a few minutes, he stopped to see two monsters blocked his path. One is a weasel-like creature and one is a boar-like creature, which he guessed it was a Pittered Boar since he encountered some from his previous trip in the Greatwood. Wondered what the first monster was and their levels, he took a closer look at their HP bar. "That monster with it is called a Brier Weasel and other than the Pittered Boar is Level 10, that new monster is Level 13. Looks like a tough monster to beat, so I need to eliminate the first monster first."

Using the Hiding Entry to cloaked himself, he quietly sneak behind the boar and before it knew it, the Assassin said, "Quick Draw!" With a quick slash from his scythe, the boar was pushed back from his attack, which it hit the tree before the Brier Weasel to noticed. Then before it can recovered, Eniko dispelled his skill and dashed in to make few slashes to it before he strike it down to another tree once again, which he became awed in shock at what he just did. "Wow, not only the speed of Quick Draw increased, but the scythe's attack became a little powerful as well. I have to admit, I'll give some credit to that blacksmith Adventurer who made this." He thought as he stared and smiled at his scythe, only to be attacked by the Brier Weasel's magical vines from it's tail and the tackle from the boar.

"Ow. Should have seen that coming. How about this?" Upon he made another strike from the boar, his mental limiters suddenly disappeared as he thought, "Accel Dance!" With his speed increased thanks to his skill, he managed to make a few more strikes to the Pittered Boar before it exploded into items. Then without any few seconds of rest, he focused on the Brier Weasel next as he dashed in and made a few strikes to it before he jumped up in the air while he gripped his scythe tightly. "Deadly Dance!" Eniko shouted as he spun around before he made a downward slash to the weasel, which only gave it a moderate damage. The Brier Weasel then counterattacked with it's vine's thorns, hurting the 12 year old Assassin more as he dodged the others and made more slashes to the weasel. However, it made him even more angry as he strike back with another slash to the weasel monster.

"Drat. Even with my new scythe's power, my armor won't able to give me more defense to survive. I need to end this Level 13 monster and fast." He thought as the weasel attacked with it's vine, only for him to dodge. And with his Accel Dance buff expired, his thoughts on finishing this battle now repeated on his mind as he made some slashes while tried to dodge the weasel's vines while desperately looked at his skill's cooldown counter counting down to 10 to 5.

"Come on..."

"Come on!" He repeated more and more as he was hit by another vine from the Brier Weasel.

"Come on!!!"

"FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!! LET ME USE THAT SKILL ALREADY!!!" He angrily shouted and as if it granted his request, the cooldown counter disappeared. "ACCEL DANCE!!!" With his limits in his mind removed once again, he dashed to the weasel and made more slashes in a quick speed before jumped up and shouted, "Deadly Dance!" With the final slash came down to the Brier Weasel, it exploded in items and gold as he Eniko landed on the ground, panted from exhaustion. And despite this due to his HP is dangerously low, he wasted no time to rest as he picked up the items and moved on with his Accel Dance currently active.

Eniko sighed in exhaustion as he sat near the tree to rest. Although he barely survived the Pittered Boar and a Level 13 Brier Weasel, the battle took the energy out of him as well some of his HP when he saw his HP bar was now down in red. "Man, even though Brier Weasel is 2 levels higher than me, it's still very strong even for my new scythe. Maybe I should get more strong equipment and level up more or should I make some new solo strategies?" As his Accel Dance buff expired, he decided to lied down on the ground on his back under the tree, realized that spending his time thinking about himself won't help him anything.

When he then took a snooze on the ground in a sunny afternoon, a hooded man not far away from Eniko spied on him at the top of one of the tree's branches, pulled out his bow, and prepared an arrow before he aimed it to Eniko's chest. But before he can fire it, a rabbit appeared and jumped onto the Assassin's stomach, causing him to woke up and startled by his sudden pain until he noticed the cute animal responsible for it. "Oh, it's just a rabbit. I thought I got stabbed by a monster's horn or something." He then scooped the rabbit and walked off from his resting area as he said, "I better get you somewhere safe so you won't get eaten by some monsters in this forest."

The only thing he dislike about monsters that they preyed on normal animals especially cute and innocent animals. However, the rabbit unknowingly saved his life when Eniko heard a THUNK sound from the tree he rested earlier and was shocked to see an arrow landed and stuck on the ground where he should have took his nap. Realized that someone's after him, he let the rabbit free from his arms and took a closer look at his supposed death bed as he took out the arrow from the ground and examined it closely. "An arrow with no special properties. And according to it's trajectories, the area it landed was where I was napping. Which mean..."

With a realization and anger came into him, Eniko turned around to see his attacker, only he disappeared without a trace from the branch, which Eniko became suspicious about the mysterious PKer. "Drat, he got away. But why me? Why someone wants me send into the Cathedral?" But as he thought about this mystery, he saw the sun setting down as the sky was gotten dimmer, realized that he got no time to lose. "This is bad, it's almost night time and I still need to find that kid before it's too late." He said as he saw his status menu, which revealed that his HP and MP was somewhat recovered thanks from his short nap. "Luckily, I'm fully recovered, so I should continue my search dead ahead." Eniko then grabbed his scythe and returned it into his sheath before he left his resting area completely, unknown that the same hooded man glared at him in anger after he missed his target.

After another few minutes of running into the woods, Eniko stopped to catch his breath when he saw some scary tree-like monsters with their holes served as their eyes and mouth patrolled around the area while some of them stood there to look like real trees. Curious about the new monsters, Eniko quietly checked the monsters' levels and how many he saw. "Forest Treant and all of them are Level 17. And worst, there are 5-7 of them, which I can't beat them so easily." He thought at this before he realized something. "Perfect to work on my Tracker skills."

He then used the Hiding Entry skill to turn invisible as well as Silent Move for a temporary silence on his movements to completely make himself fully hidden. But due to Silent Move's side effect, Eniko started tip-toed slowly as his movements started to slow down due to the skill. Yet it was okay for him as he was able to move at his own pace while he observed the Forest Treant's movements. As he moved slowly through the monsters, Eniko noticed two of the Treant moved left and right and alternated their movements as well as the other two looked around vigilantly for any People of the Land or Adventurer. Not wanted to hang around any longer, Eniko managed to pass through the 4 Forest Treant slowly as he walked through the other 3, which he became paranoid if either his lack of MP might blow his cover or the Treants might find him first. Luckily, he managed to avoid all of those tree monsters altogether and with 10 minutes have passed, his Hiding Entry skill dispersed and his Silent Move skill did the same as Eniko quickly ran away from the Treant's area as quickly as possible to continue his rescue mission.

After another few minutes of running through the woods after his stealthy escape from a group of Forest Treants, Eniko stopped once again as he not only rested on a nearby tree to replenished his MP from using his Tracker and Assassin skills, but also checked his map to update it's current information and his location. "Looks like I've gotten pretty deep in the Windsor Greatwood. But I hope the monster who kidnapped that kid didn't go too far."  But as he continued to read his map, the same hooded man from before spied on him in anger, which Eniko felt the same suspicious feeling as before after he was almost sent to the Cathedral. "Great, that guy didn't stop spying on me yet. Gotta keep my guard up then." With the spy still on his mind, Eniko got up from the ground and with his MP restored, he cautiously ran into the woods to continue his search as the hooded man followed him by jumping to tree to tree.

After a hour of running, Eniko found himself in a crossroad, now wondered where should he go next as he tried to hurried with his decision. Just then, he heard a young boy's scream and shouted, "Mommy, where are you?! Please, I want to go home!" Upon he heard that voice, Eniko realized who that is. "Ren, is that you?!" Realized that must be the same missing son of the Lander, he didn't waste anytime to stand around as he rushed to the direction of his voice and shouted, "Don't worry! I'm coming to save you!" But it was easier said than done as he ran and stopped to saw some 3 Venus Fly Trap-like plant monsters blocked his path.

"Oh man, Nepent Snatcher and they're Level 8!" The last time he encountered those monsters was that the time during his first excursion into the Greatwood and because he was a Level 1 Assassin back then, he had no choice but to get away from them. But since he was now Level 11, he was now confident that he will take on these monsters. But remembered that they detect his movements by vibrations, he needed to stop and stand still to fight against these monsters. With his plan now sealed in his mind, he used a few minutes to check on one of the Snatcher's weakpoints and when he found them, he dashed onto the Snatchers and shouted, "Fatal Ambush!" With his scythe drawn out, he made one powerful slash on one of them before he made several more slashes onto them to get a head start, which all of them became angry and tried to hit him with their vines.

Luckily, he was able to dodge them and jumped in the air before he shouted, "Deadly Dance!" He then spun in the air and landed to one of the Nepent Snatchers to deliver a downward slash followed by a normal attack, which managed to defeat the first one due to it's injuries from his Fatal Ambush skill. However, the remaining two Nepent Snatchers counterattacked when one of them grabbed Eniko by his leg and the other one whipped him several times with it's vines. And just before either of them can eat him, he quickly gripped his scythe tightly as he glared at the Snatchers so intensely and shouted, "Quick Draw!"

Shouted out his favorite skill, he managed to get a quick clean hit from the Snatcher's vine that grabbed his leg before he landed and made multiple slashes to the one who grabbed him before he jumped up and finished it off with Deadly Dance one again. With the second Nepant Snatcher killed, the third then tried to bite Eniko, only he smirked and jumped out of it's aim before he said, "Silent Move." With his skill now made his movements' sounds silenced and his speed slowed down, he slowly walked away from the Snatcher. Due to Nepent Snatcher's blindness and it's reliance on vibrations, it tried to detect Eniko's movement vibrations, but to no avail.

To the Snatcher, it thought that he ran away. But in reality, Eniko only stood still at the same place that he stopped walking since he needed only Silent Move and not Hiding Entry since it can't see him at all. Because of this along with the Nepent Snatcher's ability to detect vibrations due to it's lack of sight, he was able to search it's weakpoint without moving an inch and declared his next move as he found it. "Fatal Ambush!" With another quick and powerful slash, his Silent Move was dispelled as he successfully hit the Snatcher, but although it survived as it about to attack again, Eniko put his scythe back into his sheath with it gripped tightly before he shouted once again, "Quick Draw." With one last quick slash, the last Nepent Snatcher was defeated as Eniko grabbed the gold and items before he ran off to where he heard the boy's scream. "Don't worry kid, I won't let those monsters hurt you any longer."

"Ren? Ren!! Ren?!!" Eniko shouted more in the woods, but so far, he can't hear the boy's voice anymore. "Man, I know I heard that kid's voice somewhere. Gotta move fast." He then continued running into the woods, unknown to him that the hooded man was still following him. And as he continued his search, he suddenly heard Ren's voice once again, only this time, he demanded more and more to whoever kidnapped him to let him go before he heard his scream of pain, which made Eniko more worried as he followed the source of his voice. And despite the darkness that might have problems for his sight, Eniko somehow managed to find an open area of the forest, where he not only saw a boy with a brown hair, shirt, suspenders, and loafers on the ground, but also 3 Forest Treant surrounded him while they didn't realized his presence, much to Eniko's horror.

"Great, just when I was able to pass through those trees, they came back surrounding that kid. And what's even worst is that all of them are Level 15. Gotta get him out of there and fast." Remembered the Treant's movements from before, he used Silent Move and Hiding Entry once again to hid himself as he carefully and slowly walked through the Treants to try to reach to the young Lander. As he predicted, two of the monsters just stood there while the other one walked around the area, looking for intruders and their future meals, which he felt he don't want the boy to become one. Luckily due to his Tracker skill slowing him down, he won't have any problem stopping himself when he almost bumped onto a Forest Treant and move on, which allowed him to reached the boy on time just to dispelled his Hiding Entry and shut his mouth from screaming.

"Don't worry, I won't hurt you. Is your name Ren?" Eniko carefully asked to the young boy, which he nodded yes with his nervous about the Adventurer took over him. However, the young Assassin managed to calmed him down and said, "It's okay, your mother is looking for you right now and I'm here to fulfill that request. But I wanted you to stay quiet or we'll never get out from those monsters, okay?" Upon he saw Eniko's serious, but innocent eyes, Ren realized that his words are true as he nodded yes and said, "Thanks. B-But my leg hurts..." With his guess about his scream of pain was true, Eniko scooped the young Lander up and let him rest onto his back. "Don't worry, just stay with me and you'll be fine." But with his new passenger made him unable to activate Hiding Entry once again, he then relied on his Silent Move as he slowly walked behind the bushes and trees to avoid the Forest Treant. And as he slowly walked through the trees, Eniko then asked to the Lander, "Hey, Ren. Can you tell me what kind of monster that kidnapped you?"

"I-I don't know. All I know is that it's big and it has big arms. But I can't see it very clearly after that." He can't blame him for it. It was already night time, which the boy might not able to see it's captor very well. Also, he knew that he completely scared of losing his own mother, which he felt the same way after the car accident that took his parent's lives away. However, he was suspicious on why a monster took a child away. "Well, did you do anything before you got captured?" The boy then explained he was playing with his friends when he saw a man dropped something, which was a medallion and thinking it might be a special gift for his mother, he took it to show it off to his friends. But before he can even get to his mother, he was suddenly captured.

Upon he thought about those new details, both of them managed to get out of the Forest Treant's territory as he let the boy down from his back and pulled out his map to check his current location. "Well, don't worry kid. As soon as you're with me, you will be able to return to you mother in no time." But just as he and Ren was about to leave, a small dart pricked on Eniko's neck and before he knew it, he collapsed on the ground as he suddenly felt pain in his body, much to Ren's horror as he shouted his name in worry. "W-What the?!" As he looked at his status, he was horrified to see that he was poisoned. "Dang, another Garden Snake?!"

"I don't think so, you wannabe Adventurer." When Eniko turned around to the direction of the voice, he was horrified to saw not only the man that he bumped onto earlier, but also the hooded man from before, which he removed his hood to reveal his black hair and his smirking face. "Y-You!! W-What are you doing?!" All of the sudden, both the weakened Eniko and Ren are grabbed by both of the Landers as the man said, "Simple, we want our key back and that kid just stole it from us." Before Eniko can questioned any further, both of them are dragged off into the deeper part of the forest as the Adventurer do nothing but to see his HP go down every 10 seconds.

Later, the boys got dumped onto the ground of the forest before the hooded Lander snatched Ren's medallion, which was designed to look like the designs of some kind ruin, which he shouted to give it back. However, the first man laughed and said, "Do you really think that this is a gift to your own mother? Or have you failed to realized that this medallion is actually from Windsor Castle Grounds?" Upon he heard that name, Eniko felt like he heard of that name before as he repeated the name while he continued to feel the pain of the poison the men gave him earlier. "Yeah, it's a ruins of castle from years ago not far away from here and there are rumors about this medallion. Something about if you steal this thing, a monster will chase after you?"

Eniko's eyes widened in horror as he heard it. Could the golem monster that took Ren might have thought of him as robber and tried to returned the medallion back? "Yeah. But when he grabbed the medallion, nothing happens. So we knew that legend was a big baloney. But still, it's still a priceless jewelry." The second man said to his ally. "I know, so we intend to sell it to the nobles from a faraway country. That is, until this brat stole the medallion from us!" The first man shouted as he angrily glared at Ren, who was still scared at the men. "Because of you, Tal and I planned to dispose of you along with that noisy Adventurer brat to make sure you two won't able to warn everyone else back in Londinium."

Upon he connected the kidnapping along with his earlier incident, it made sense as Eniko calmly said despite his pain, "I see. Despite you knew that I can't be killed, but only to be revived in Cathedral, you knew that you wanted to eliminate me so I won't know the whole truth. As for that medallion, you are dead wrong on the legend part." Upon they heard that last sentence, Tal and his ally became angry as the first men grabbed Eniko's collar and pull him up. "What do you mean "dead wrong", you brat?!"

"The legend surrounding the monster will chase you if you stole it? It was true. I bet it was only protecting it to prevent outsiders and robbers like you to steal it, which is the reason why Ren got kidnapped, namely it thought that he was a robber." Eniko said as his voice became serious and threatening. "Because of your actions and your ignorance to that warning, you just put a child in danger and you don't care what's gonna happen if you do sell it to others! It will be catastrophic and will put every country in danger!"

Now completely enraged by his attitude, the man angrily threw Eniko to the ground once more and stomped on his face before he shouted, "Don't get cocky, you brat! Maybe that poison isn't enough to kill you. Tal, finish it and make sure he isn't breathing." The man nodded in agreement as he readied his bow and arrow before he aimed it to Eniko, much to Ren's horror. "Wait, no!" But before he can try to help the injured Adventurer, Eniko shouted, "Stop! Don't be a hero! I don't... want you to get hurt any longer..." Ren was surprised, despite the pain he took and about to sent to the Cathedral, Eniko never gave up on him no matter what. This act made him became confident and prayed that he will be safe.

"Time to die, you little brat." Tal said as he was about to shot an arrow to Eniko's chest. But before he did, the ground started to rumble, which startled everybody. "Hey, what was that?!" Tal asked in shock, which the Assassin's eyes widened in horror, realized what caused that quake. "I don't know, but I'll check it out. In the meantime, kill that Adventurer brat quickly." But before either of them can do those tasks, a rock monster came out of the trees and roared at everybody, which made them screamed in horror. "Quick, forget the kid and try to kill that beast!" As the two changed their plans, Eniko was still shocked at the monster appeared right in front of them, which made him realized that it must be the said guardian of the medallion as he saw it's HP bar. "Lesser Soil Golem and it's Level 13. With that level, those two won't able to defeat that monster with their weapons. Grr... If I wasn't poisoned by those guys, I've would have defeat that golem no problem."

As the two boys watched, the men tried to fight the golem, but with Eniko's words are true, they are fighting a losing battle as the golem shook off their attacks and made another earthquake to disable them, which caused the man's rucksack to fell on the ground, which revealed it contained potions and herbs, which gave Eniko an idea as he turned to Ren and said, "Listen, can you try getting some potions without getting those two guys' attention?" Realized that this is his chance to help him, Ren nodded yes as he silently approached the rucksack and carefully brought it near the Adventurer, which he then drank some of the potions and even ate some herbs. To his surprise, the herbs not only healed his poison, but also restored some of his HP, which caused him to get back to his feet once more.

But before he can do anything else, the two boys witnessed the fight, which the golem was about to threw it's rock-like fist to Tal, only for his ally to block that attack with his ax and tried more slashes to it. "Get out of our way, you mo-" Before he can finished, he was quickly struck by the golem's punch and before he can recover, he was horrified to see the golem about to squash him with it's foot. "No, no, no, NOOOOOOOO!!!" Despite Eniko tried to save him fast, it was too late as bubbles flew up from where the man was, much to Tal's horror. "I-Is he... dead?" Although nobody answered his question, the horrified reactions of Ren and Tal confirmed his suspicions: Once People of the Land are dead, they cannot be revived anymore.

After he saw this revelation, Eniko's horror turned into anger as he said to Ren, "Get somewhere safe, Ren. I have to eliminate this Lesser Soil Golem before there's anymore casualties." Ren nodded in agreement as he hid behind one of the tree as the young Assassin prepared himself. However, he noticed Tal, who was still shocked at the loss of his friend, he then said, "There's no used getting him back now! Unless you have a death wish on meeting him again, I suggest you better do the same thing as Ren!" Not wanted to share the same fate as him, Tal decided to take his advice and hid another one of the trees as Ren.

"I know you're doing your job guarding that medallion, but killing that man is far enough. Quick Draw!" With a quick slash and his current level, Eniko managed to make some damage to the golem. However, it managed to counterattacked by punching him in the stomach. Luckily, he managed to get back up and used Accel Dance to increase his speed and attacked it with many quick slashes before he shouted, "Deadly Dance!" He then jumped in the air and spun around before he made a downward slash, damaging the golem even further. However, it angered even more as it tried to strike the young Assassin even more, which he only took 3 attacks as Eniko dodged the rest of them before he used Hiding Entry and Silent Move to disappeared, much to the Lander's shock as they thought he was killed by those attacks.

"Eniko!" Ren shouted in worry, horrified that he disappeared. But thanks to his shouting, the golem noticed him and quickly try to attack, which he managed to dodge it as he tumbled near the fallen medallion the man snatched from him earlier. Upon he saw the medallion with him, the golem grew enraged as it try to squashed him like the man before, which Ren braced himself as he closed his eyes. However, before the golem can stomp him with it's foot, Ren heard Eniko's voice once more. "Fatal Ambush!" As the young Assassin appeared once more, he made one quick slash to the golem with his scythe before he made more slashes to it, much to Ren's relief. And with the last Deadly Dance, the Lesser Soil Golem was finally eliminated as it exploded in many items and gold.

"That was so cool!" Ren shouted in excitement, shocked in awe at what Eniko did. "Thanks, but please, try to follow what I said earlier, okay?" Eniko said as not only he picked up his spoils, he also grabbed the medallion and approached the still traumatized Tal as he became serious due to his actions. "I'm sorry for what happened to you friend, but we have no way on changing the past now. If you want to survive alone, I suggest you do the right thing and give yourself up to the authorities. You're lucky I'm not the type who kill criminals." At first, Tal became angry at his words, but after what was happened today, he decided to follow his advice and went back to the city to surrender himself.

As for Ren, Eniko then approached him with a relaxed smile and said, "Don't worry, as soon as we get out of here, we'll meet up with your mother once again. But for safety's sake, I doubt this medallion would be a good present to her. I'll return this back to the ruins where it belongs." Ren agreed to his plan, since he learned that he can't take something that is not his as he and Eniko went out of the forest to not only find the Windsor Castle Grounds to return the medallion, but back to their home as Eniko was completely wiped out from the fight.

"But, what can I give my Mom as a special gift now? To be honest, her birthday is coming up and I don't know what to give her after I learned that medallion was not mine." Upon Ren said this, Eniko quickly thought about it. Since his crafting class was Scribe, he doubt a map and an ink would be great presents. But with what the young Lander been through today, he knew he had to do something to make up for the troubles he accidentally dragged him into today. "Don't worry, just leave it to me." Although he had a choice to temporarily change his crafting class or get a new version of Scribe crafting recipes, Eniko knew he had to help him more.
