[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]LUNAR [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Aric Arkwright [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 13 [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Heterosexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: ORIGINAL, RunnerAwaker [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: RunnerAwaker [attr="class","bi2"]FACTION: Adventurer [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"]In real life, Aric has lanky build standing at 5'9 and his weight of 115 pounds with peach tan skin, brown short hair, and blue eyes while his attire usually consisted of long sleeved shirts, pants, and his favorite blue scarf in fall and winter and vest, shirt, and shorts in summer and spring. Also, he often brought his silver messenger bag even when he's not in school. In Elder Tales as Lunar, he has the same build as his real self only that he has now a silver medium messy hair and navy blue eyes. His usual attire consists of silver robe-like shirt with navy blue stripes and cuffs, blue undershirt, navy blue scarf (like the scarf he owned in real life) that he obtained later on, black gloves, grey pants with belt and bag, and silver boots. In his casual attire, he often wears a silver long sleeved shirt and a blue pants or shorts, like he usually wore in real life. Also, he wears his same scarf no matter what attire he wears, whether it's a formal or casual. However, he won't wear his scarf whenever he's wearing his swimwear. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]Even in real life or online, Aric is a very shy kid due to his fears on not being accepted to everyone or being bullied, which he usually relied on his brother to help him whenever he encountered a stranger. Despite this, he very mature for his age and will often speak up to the people he trusted. Also, while he was very shy, he's very active when it comes to exploring around his environment around him and he's very kind to others, not even refusing any request even from a Person of the Land. Also, even though he relied on his brother a lot due to his undying loyalty and brotherly love to him, he has a habit to protect him as well as his friends no matter how dangerous the situation is. However, due to his tragic experiences for his father's abuse, he became very fragile, which usually resulted earning Lunar's rage whenever somebody provokes or mocks his brother. Also, whenever he encounters an event that reminds him of his abusive past, he will often snaps and attacks somebody near him. And since he's still a kid, he tends to be stubborn whenever someone denied permission to go somewhere and has a short temper whenever he's embarrassed or being called "weak" or a "kid". But despite his shy and fragile persona, he is not afraid to find new discoveries that is essential to his and his brother's survival in their new reality. This is actually his greatest strength of all as it continues to grow as he endures it. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]Aric lived a normal mundane life with his parents and his older brother, Evan, which he spent a lot of time with him playing his video games and tell stories that he likes. Originally from Miami, Aric and his family moved to London to get a fresh start from their lives after their parents got promoted. And despite he endured some bullying in his new school, Eric studied very hard and played with his friends normally thanks to his brother's words of encouragement. However, his normal life cut short when he saw his parents argued aggressively about their income and their future and when he asked his father at what they are fighting about, he suddenly attacked Aric out of frustration. Although he was traumatized that his own father angrily hit him while he didn't do anything wrong, he shrugged it off that he will go back to normal after his brother cheered up with some more knight stories. However, he was wrong when he and his brother's mother suddenly disappeared one day when he was 7 years old. Because of this, his father became drunk as he spent his time blaming and hitting Aric in anger as the young boy lamented at what he did wrong for letting his mother left them like this. But when he was 11 years old, he finally learned his mother's fate after he saw his brother confronted his father, which the latter revealed that his mother died at his own hands and he didn't show any remorse as he only married her because of her beauty and her money. Horrified that their father didn't care about their own children, Aric angrily berated him for ignoring their well-being before he disowned him after he stated his brother and mother only cared about him more before he was shut up by his father by attacking him before he was arrested by the police that Evan managed to call beforehand. After that incident, Aric and his older brother were now living in an orphanage as despite he managed to escape his former father's wrath, he was left traumatized by those events, which left his brother to take care of him while they continued their studies. One day when he was 13 years old, he was horrified to learn that he will be separate from his brother since they are adopted to two different families. But sensing his sadness, his brother decided to register for Elder Tale UK server so they can communicate each other even when are not in the same place. But as they logged in the day before they will part ways, the Apocalypse happened and Aric now found himself in the world of Elder Tale, now separated from his brother. Now scared of his new reality, Aric now wished to go back to his old home to be with his brother again, unknown to him that he came in the world with him. [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"]- Aric was born during a full moon at night. - He liked night time and the full moon since it reminded him of his birth. - Loves books especially storybooks about heroes and knights fighting evil dragons. - His favorite hobby is drawing. - He became addicted to video games thanks to his brother. - His favorite game is The Legend of Zelda. |

The sister skill to Deadly Dance, focusing in increasing the Assassin’s speed rather than their power. As the Assassin strikes their foes, they enter a state of mind where they can release some of their body’s natural limiters, allowing them to increase the speed of their attacks by 10%. The repeated usage allows the Assassin to descend deeper into this state and increase their attack speed even further. While originally designed for melee attacks, as it is more of a state of mind, the technique can be applied to ranged attacks as well. This skill has a duration of 30 seconds, a cast time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds. The Assassin may spend an additional 2 seconds casting this skill to increase attack speed by 20% instead. If Accel Dance is used while it is currently in effect, attack speed is not increased further but the buff's duration will reset back to its full 30 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Hiding Entry: [Tier I Skill] Self Buff. One of the basic stealth magics of the Assassin. A signature move of the Assassins, known for being able to hide in plain sight, that allows them to bend light around them and become invisible to the naked eye for an extended period of time, up to ten minutes. Offensive actions, stabbing a target for instance, immediately break the magic used to hide the Assassin. The spell itself can be a bit taxing to the Assassin and can only be used sparingly. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds, lightly draining the user's MP upon use. It has a cooldown of 30 seconds the moment it is canceled. [attr="class","skill"]Malicious Intent: [Tier I Skill] Although an Assassin would typically prefer to reduce any attention toward themselves, Malicious Intent is a special technique that temporarily defies this convention in order to bring forth a more advantageous situation. When this skill is used, the Assassin releases an invisible aura from their body. This aura is stationary and cannot be seen directly, but anyone close enough will undoubtedly feel a sight of emotional discomfort. The aura generates a high amount of aggro, causing many enemies to turn their attention toward the aura. Opponents in the night or monsters that do not rely on eyesight may even attempt to attack the aura, even if the Assassin had moved away for quite some time. Understandably, this skill isn't very effective against anything that can see its obvious appearance. This skill has a casting time of 4 seconds, a duration of 30 seconds, and a cooldown of 50 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Atrophy Break: [Tier I Skill] Debuff Ranged Attack. While Assassins primary favor physical attacks, they have adopted some minor magic in the past to keep up with the advances of magi. By enchanting a projectile with a spell, the Assassin can cause a spectral chain to bind their target on contact, the projectile itself only deals normal physical damage however. Weaker enemies with little resistance can be completely paralyzed by the chains, while stronger enemies are merely slowed. This skill has an casting time of 3 seconds and a cooldown of 15 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Fatal Ambush: [Tier I Skill] Physical Attack. Assassins are known for their deadly strikes, often being able to slay in a single strike. This technique is the first of the many massive damage attacks the Assassins have under their repertoire. It is a crude version however, a novice skill that serves more as the basis and foundation for future, more poetic, techniques. Requiring a long preparation time, the Assassin must focus onto their target, limiting their perception and leaving them vulnerable to other attacks, as they search for a weak point. Then by focusing all of their strength into one strike, the assassin strikes their target with all of their might into a single point, dealing critical damage. The mental exertion required taxes the mind heavily however, and the technique can only be used sparingly. This skill has an casting time of 5 seconds before it may be used. When it is used, Fatal Ambush has an animation time of 1 second and a cooldown of 60 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Death Stinger: [Tier I Skill] Self Buff. Poison, a classic tool of assassins but honor less by nature. By coating their weapons in these foul concoctions, the attacks of an Assassin have a chance to poison their enemies, slowly chipping away at their health overtime. Users of this technique must be wary though, as anyone struck by the blade can be poisoned, even the users themselves. This skill has a casting time of 5 seconds and a cooldown of 30 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Deadly Dance: [Tier I Skill] Physical Melee Attack. A skill that uses the Assassin’s angular momentum in order to increase the damage of their attack. The Assassin jumps and spins in the air while gripping their weapon, then lands onto the opponent and delivers a downward slash. The key of Deadly Dance is to accumulate angular momentum, so users might find it advantageous to use the skill multiple times in succession. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Silent Move: [Level 1 Tracker Skill] A skill that deadens the user's movements whenever traveling, preventing them from making any sound while walking. In exchange, the Tracker's movement speed is reduced by 50%. For every 10 levels the tracker gains in their subclass level, this debuff is decreased by 10%. After Level 50, the debuff is eliminated completely. [attr="class","skill"] [attr="class","skill"]Detox: [Pharmacist Level 1 Skill] Pharmacists have developed a certain resistance around drugs. This skill can be toggled to make a pharmacist immune to status debuffs caused by potions. Additionally, they passively recover twice as fast from poison status effects. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Armor: Londinium Steel Clothing Armor: Level 10 Clothing Armor. A gold medal that was given out from voting or nominating in the Log Horizon RP's first annual end of the year awards. Its only effect is that equipping it causes either the Elder Tale title theme or the popular Elder Tale Theme Song from the Yamato server's 20th anniversary to play in the wearer's head. The song preference and music can be toggled on or off using the interface when this item is equipped. Lesser Mana Potion: A recipe by Capsule. A basic mana potion that restores about 10 MP per average level of the materials used to make it. It's good for lower levels, but lacks the oomph higher levels need. Medicinal Formula: A basic healing potion that restores about 20 HP per average level of the materials used to make it. At low levels, this amount is essentially a player's entire amount, but higher level players will require a few in order to heal back to full HP. It has a toxicity rating of 1. After a player drinks potions with a total toxicity rating of 20, any potions taken afterward become halved in effect. Starter Cloth Armor: A basic set of cloth armor made from cheap fabric. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it Starter Scythe: A starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap iron and wood. It is well-balanced and easy to use but doesn’t hit particularly hard at all. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can. Londinium Steel Throwing Needles: Level 10 Throwing Needles. A set of 12 needles of the Londinium Steel brand, a reliable brand of beginner equipment crafted by the People of the Land. While convenient, they are a little more expensive than if you were to craft your own equips. Smoke Grenade: Level 5. A flask containing powder derived from plants which can produce smoke spontaneously when ignited. The neck of the flask contains powder derived from a herb which burns slowly when it comes into contact with mana, which can be released through the flask. This gives the user a maximum of three seconds to prepare before the flask explodes and releases a large torrent of smoke. Impure Poison: Level 5. A fairly diluted poison suggested by Pharmacist Polio. It has a toxicity rating of 5. Drinking it directly will lower the character's current HP by about 100. Of course, its attributes as a poison makes it more useful when applied to a weapon and used to attack an enemy. Enemies struck by a weapon affected by Impure Poison have a chance of acquiring a minor poison debuff which slowly lower HP over the course of a minute and sickness debuffs which lower all stats for about a minute. Its potency depends on the average level of the materials used to make it. Potion of Nighteye: Level 5. Researched by Pharmacist Icyferno. A potion made from a certain species of herbs that are said to have granted the People of the Land temporary night vision in the past. Due to the low quality of the solvents used to make this potion, it should be drank rather than used as eyedrops according to old Lander testimony. Upon being used, it tints the user's vision green and slightly increases their ability to see in the dark for a short period of time. Its duration and potency depends on the average level of ingredients used to make it. |
