He wears his hair short with a modern-vintage side comb and sideburns to partly frame his oblong shaped face. Every hair on his body follows a bright orange and dirty white colour scheme, complementing the majestic Red Fox. His character default clothing is a simple medieval shirt under a Victorian three-button vest. He wrapped his left forearms with a simple cloth, he also wears a simple medieval breeches and a cloth tied to his waist acting as a belt. To cover the exposed skin left by the breeches, on his left leg, a schynbalds, and right, a cloth fashioned with an ‘xx’ pattern, to finish his outfit: a simple leather shoes. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]Mokusu see himself as a creative person, often very imaginative and a slight risk-taker from time-to-time. Often, he sees the glass half empty, as it helps him to find every possibility he could imagine as a means to escape – either entering to the next phase or exiting it completely – the situation. Some would considered him as shy as he is really quiet and reserve to both people he is comfortable with and not, those who have been with him the longest may have describe him as an active person to point of ‘joyful aggression’, mostly due lack of sleep, but he is more of a listener and often having a hard time giving out advices when needed to but is very open-minded when asked to. He can be quite intimidating when angry, but rarely as he often feels it is a burden for other to worry about him but he is ready to give the whole world to help a friend due to his sensitive nature. This is often see as both a weakness and also an advantage for having him as a friend as he is ready to get himself hurt so others don’t have to. Other than that he is very open to changes in any aspect of his life on the conditions that he could always return back to his comfortable everyday routine. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]Before studying in the UK, Mokusu was originally from Ōita, a prefecture of Japan located on the Kyūshū Island. It is well known for its hot springs and limestone caves and with that said, he is the 2nd oldest from a family of 6 which runs a guest house and inn for tourists in the Kusu District. In a young age, Mokusu was trained to take over the family business, much like his brother. In school, his family advised him to take anything that is related, or able to aid, to their business seriously while at home he is trained in various jobs such as, farming, cleaning, cooking and others that are needed for him to take over the business. He was often fascinated by the stories told by the visitors of their inn and he often dream of visiting such places and to aid him, his family agreed to fund him to study in the UK if he achieve educational success. Due to the excitement and motivation, he excels during junior high and was able to enter high school almost as easily. However, with the increased in his social life and the help needed with the guest house, his study took its toll and thus effecting in his final performance, making educational success an achievement he could never reached but still, his parents accepted his result as worthy and agreed to fund him but at a college of their choosing, a business college, yet give him the freedom to travel during the holidays. It was after he finished settling in his new environment that the Catastrophe happens, as a celebration, and due to him yet not having any acquaintances until class start the next day, he decided to get the Elder Tale MMO his friends from back home been talking about and due to his family business he wasn’t able to checked it out. Until now… [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"] Nickname: Moku |

Sylph is a small fairy-like creature that looks like a jolly girl. She is able to attack with a magical wind that knocks back enemies. She can summon a healing breeze that heals allies for a minor amount and removes a debuff. She is Friendly to her Summoner and Wary toward all enemies. This follower takes 2 seconds of cast time to summon. [attr="class","skill"]Elemental Bolt: The Summoner borrows the physical properties of their follower to generate an energy bolt projectile. The projectile copies the attribute of the follower, so a bolt created from Salamander will deal fire-based damage. As this skill derives itself from the energy of the follower, it reduces the follower's damage potential by a small amount for about 10 seconds. In exchange, the bolt itself deals a respectable amount of damage for its tier. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown time of 10 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Hearing Aptitude: A toggle skill that improves the character's hearing perception. Whispers can be heard from about 2 meters away, conversations can be heard up to 10 meters away, and the hearing range of the most distant sounds are doubled. It is a very effective skill for the sake of gathering intel and eavesdropping. [attr="class","skill"]Summon Follower - Carbuncle: Tier I Skill Beast-type Light elemental familiar. A beast-like summoning companion centered around a ruby core. Completely powerless in terms of physical attacks, but has the capability to shoot rays from the ruby core. Also has the ability to cut off barriers and heal the summoner or another target. Resembles a combination of a fox and rabit with a ruby on the forehead. Carbuncle's personality type is Friendly toward its Summoner and Wary toward all enemies. This follower takes 2 seconds of cast time to summon. [attr="class","skill"]Phantasmal Heal: Tier I Skill The Summoner commands the summoned Follower to recover mana or health for a specific target. While in use, an extremely bright shining star effect is initiated on the target. The target's HP or MP will heal instantly, making this skill a nice ability to have when there are no available clerics in the vicinity. Naturally, this skill can only be used with healing summons like Unicorn or Carbuncle. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown time of 20 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Summon Follower - Harpy: Tier I Skill Bird-type Wind elemental familiar. Summons a creature that has the features of a bird and woman. She attacks targets with cutting blast of wind and sharp talons. She can also stun enemies by emitting an ear splitting shriek. This stun lasts for 3 seconds. Harpy’s personality is Friendly toward its Summoner and Predatory toward all enemies. This follower takes 2 seconds of cast time to summon [attr="class","skill"]Equipment Mastery: Swords: Passive. An Adventurer skill that provides weapon proficiency of both one-handed and two-handed swords. Normally, classes that are incompatible with certain types of weapons suffer damage and accuracy penalties when using the weapon in question. Possession of an equipment mastery skill negates this penalty for that specified weapon type. Generally, there are reasons behind why certain classes focus on certain weapon types. Taking this skill provides some level of versatility, but be warned that some of your main class skills might prove incompatible with this new fighting style. This skill does nothing if the character's class is already able to use both types of swords normally. [attr="class","skill"]Tongue of Nature: It's often said that certain people seem to have an affinity toward interacting with nature and communicating with animals. With this skill, the Adventurer's natural affinity is idealized into a tangible form. While this toggle skill is active, the character will be able to communicate with animals and monsters. Incoming speech by monsters will appear as subtitles at the bottom of the user's vision. There is a huge variance between being able to notice this effect and actually using it effectively, however. "Nice to meet you" is not the same thing as "Look, fresh meat", for example. At lower levels, the user of this skill will very often mishear monsters' speech and mispronounce their own words, mistakes that might cause hostility if used incorrectly. However, as the user gradually gains experience, they will be able to negotiate with monsters more easily. The Animal Trainer, Fisherman, Druid classes are more aligned with the power of nature and thus higher success rates are gained if the user is one or more of these classes. Monsters at a lower level compared to the user's highest class level also are easier to communicate with. [attr="class","skill"]Timber: Toggle skill. Woodcrafters naturally have an affinity for chopping and carving wood, making their abilities key in harming monsters that happen to be arboreal in nature. Woodcrafters deal 20% more damage to Plant-type monsters. They can also cancel buffs on Plant-type monsters upon a successful hit. [attr="class","skill"]Quick Construction: In certain situations, the Woodcrafter may require their works to be created not with sturdiness in mind, but with speed. This allows them to create temporary structures such as stairs, walls, and bridges in a fraction of the usual time needed. Of course, these structures are not a long-term solution for an actual craft, as they fall apart very quickly with usage or damage. If left alone, a structure would probably last for an hour but with a couple of uses, the durability would drop to a few minutes. [attr="class","skill"]Haggling: Using an eye for money and sharp negotiations, Merchants can save up a lot of money in the long run. Merchants gain a passive 10% discount in Material Fees when crafting. This bonus also extends to a crafter who is crafting an item where the Merchant is the receiver. Please mention that you have this skill when you are submitting the craft thread to be claimed. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Armor: Starter Cloth Armor, A basic set of cloth armor made from cheap fabric. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. [attr="class","skill"]Left Hand: N/A [attr="class","skill"]Right Hand: Starter Whip, A starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap leather. It is well-balanced and easy to use but doesn’t hit particularly hard at all. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can. [attr="class","skill"]Satchel Bag L10: A small satchel bag that can store items for quick access without needing to open the inventory menu. It's mostly used by Couriers and individuals who need to grab a quick potion from the heat of battle. Its sturdiness depends on the average level of the materials used to make it. The bag has a stylized F on the shoulder strap to denote the crafter of the item. The craft is somewhat durable and can be thrown around, even when items are in the bag without fearing damage of fragile goods. This the first Satchel crafted by the Tailor Kumori, the Satchel which inspired many more Satchels to come. [attr="class","skill"]Accessory#2: Leave blank [attr="class","skill"]Accessory#3: Leave blank [attr="class","skill"]Accessory#4: Leave blank [attr="class","h3"]Inventory [attr="class","b2"]Apprentice Grimoire: A one-handed apprentice’s book of spells designed for novice mages, made out of cheap materials. Doesn’t particularly have too many pages, but it is better than nothing. If used by a magic class, you get the ability to shoot a basic magic attack with a range of 2 meters. Iron Nails (20 pieces): Level 5. Rather shoddy nails made of dark iron, they're particularly useful for Artisans and Woodcrafters for building houses and other such things, though it's possible that Mechanics or Alchemists could also find uses for them. They're rather square in shape and look rather easily prone to rust, though they seem sturdy enough for their purposes. The weakest point in at the base, where the head connects to the nail; perhaps with better materials, it could be made stronger. A recipe by Cocktail. Blackboard: A Mokusu Specialty! Made with the combination of three plank and a black colour paint, the blackboard is a reusable surface which an individual can easily write or draw on with chalk and can also easily erased any doodle created on it with a simple cloth or the back of an individual hand. Can also be use as a shield in-combat however due to the thin wood it could get easily destroy. Londinium Steel Longsword Lv.10: A Longsword of the Londinium Steel brand, a reliable brand of beginner equipment crafted by the People of the Land. Londinium Steel Whip Lv.10: A whip of the Londinium Steel brand, a reliable brand of beginner equipment crafted by the People of the Land. |
