Into the Mansion, The First Ballad [Solo]

It was a dark and stormy night...

Well, it wasn't a stormy night, but Eniko knew he stayed too long in the forest as the night time has come. "Whoa, I really need to get back to London, fast." He said when he noticed the time on his main menu, which said "OCTOBER 31 / 5:59 PM". "October 31? That means today's Halloween, so I should try to find a pre-made costume for this year?" Before he can thought about it, the clock on his menu strike 6 PM and when he got out of the forest, Eniko then noticed a mansion from out of nowhere, much to his confusion. And due to his confusion turned into curiosity, he decided to enter the mansion while still being cautious about his appearance.

As he entered the lobby of the mansion, he gripped his scythe tightly from his sheath as he looked around to see if there was anything threatening in it. And without a warning, a strange creature sneak up behind him, which Eniko was startled as he was about to use a skill at first, only to removed his grip when he saw a small floating lantern somehow scared of him ,which he saw it's name in it's HP bar. "A Mini-Jack? Is that an event monster?" And upon he saw it's scared expression, Eniko realized what he did and said, "Oh, I'm sorry about that, little guy. I just wanted to know more about this mansion." However as he said this, the pumpkin monster managed to go back to it's mischievous self as it ran away from Eniko, much to his shock. "Wait, come back!"

As he chased the Mini-Jack, he then came across some kind of large door along with the same Mini-Jack as it giggled to him. "Huh? You wanted me to enter this room?" And to his surprise, it nodded yes, despite he didn't have any skill to communicate with it. And when he looked around the lobby, he probably figured the door might closed and locked, which he didn't mind since he wanted to know more about the mansion. "Well, can't back out now." But when he tried to push the door open to no avail, Eniko might have guessed it was lock. "How do I open it?" He pulled out his scythe and tried to tap the door, but with no response. He even tried to attack the door with it, but still no avail. "That didn't work either. Now what?"

He would try Deadly Dance or Quick Draw, but he felt that won't work as well. He would also try to pick the lock, but he felt he don't have such skill in either of his classes, plus the fact he didn't like to break in illegally. With no ideas left, he slumped down on the ground, wondered if he should give up or not and leave, since he knew mansions plus Halloween equals bad things happen in here. But before he was about to give up, he then noticed some kind of plaque at the top of the door he was trying to open, which he realized he didn't noticed it until now.

With his curiosity got the better of him again, he took a closer look at it and was surprised at what it said. "Purple Mirror Mansion? Guess I found the name of the mansion, but what does it have to do with a locked door?" As he took a closer look at it, he read through the contents of the plaque.

"The rule of this mansion is to find the master.
To advance, you must cross the Five Twilights into the final area.
The Mastermind awaits at the end."

"Mastermind, huh? Looks like it might be an interesting place for Halloween after all. And I might guess that behind the door is the "First Twilight", huh? Sounds like a challenge." With that said, he realized one thing. He didn't need to fight his way into the mansion, but to figure out how to go deeper into the mansion. "All right, it might have something to open this door around here somewhere." And when he looked around the lobby, he knew that whatever that can open the door, either a key or some kind of password, he will able to move on. "Well, time to start searching."

He then started his search by looking under the tables first, but he didn't found anything in it. He then tried to look behind a grandfather clock, but his lacking strength won't let him look behind it, which made him wondered about his scythe's weight again. Next, he tried to find into the cabinets, but found nothing but another Mini-Jack, which scared Eniko a little before it left. He tried to search some statues next as he carefully looked at every nook and cranny of it for a secret button or a key, but he only found nothing. Then he even tried to search through the drawers, but he didn't found anything as well.

Annoyed that he made no progress so far, he tried to check under the carpet of the stairs, only that he realized that he can't even removed them from the floor. In desperation, he tried to find inside a fireplace, but when he stuck his head inside, he was quickly smacked by another Mini-Jack, which it somehow giggled before it left once again. Although he didn't lose so much HP from that accidental attack due to it being Level 4, but it was still very painful to him. After that, he once again slumped onto the ground, now wondered what he will do now since he didn't find anything that will open the door.

"I searched everywhere including a fireplace, but no key or anything everywhere in the lobby. Is there any hint around here?" As if his words are a sign, he noticed a table with some kind of guestbook near the door, which he realized that must have been there before even before he was searching the lobby as he slapped his own forehead in dismay. "Man, I'm so stupid." When he approached the table, he noticed some kind of riddle written on the page of the guestbook and realized the answer of it, Eniko wrote it down on what he believed both an answer of it and a password to a locked door. And to his surprise, it worked as the door slowly opened after he wrote the answer.

Upon he saw this, he sighed once again and said to himself, "Note to self, try to check any table with guestbooks or something." Believed that the "First Twilight" is up ahead, Eniko ventured forward into the door.
