As a reflection in a mirror, Hikari is like a twin sister she always wanted. She made her quite short and lightweight, resulting in a petite stature and quite frail body. Her skin is ghostly pale- borderline unhealthy looking, yet still very beautiful. Part of her hair, being tied up by a small ribbon, rests on her left shoulder- resulting in a uneven haircut, which is still presented with order. Her hair is medium long and pinkish in color, with curls growing stronger as you get closer to the hair's ending. Her eyes, filled with sweetness, are shaded in a mixture of brown and hot red. Graceful and charming, yet non-expressive: Hikari looks serious and unapproachable most of the time. Due to her race: Hikari has a pair of pointy cat-looking ears on top of her head, and a fox tails hanging from her rear. Elaine is not too picky with her clothing, and such she wears whatever she deems comfortable. Elaine was always intrigued by the Japanese culture, which has influenced on her style of clothing(and of course her class). Hikari is often seen with a short kimono, that goes a bit above her knees. The kimono is pink with some white features, while it has a variety of different patterns and prints of flowers all over it. To match the outfit, Hikari wears a pair of comfy geta sandals. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] At first glance, Hikari may seem like a distant and sophisticated person who tends to stay away from large crows, while in reality she is just analyzing her current situation and gathering the information from her surroundings. Upon first interaction, Hikari will take somewhat cold approach and not open herself too much, however as she starts getting comfortable with the environment she becomes much more laid back and pleasant. She's capable of being polite and courteous as well as pick up some small talk when getting to know someone, however she will still not disclose personal information. Rather than being controlled by her emotions, Hikari is the person who's dominated by her brain and will most likely take the most efficient and logical solution to a problem, the only exception being love. While with the person she loves, Hikari will appear cheerful and filled with emotions, she will even perhaps make some pretty hilarious jokes! Well, that is until that exact person is found alone with someone else. In which case she turns into murderous psychopath. Hakari's major flaw is jelaousy, which no matter how hard she tries- will always be pretty obvious. Overall, Hikari is a pretty cute girl...until she rips your eyeballs out. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] Elaine comes from relatively normal middle-class family. Even at young age, her parents made Hikari study restlessly night after night. Needless to say, it was proven effective as she was the best in her school. However, it didn't come without consequences. Maintaining her image, Elaine has spend most of her childhood in solitude. It's not that her classmates didn't want to talk to her, it's that they didn't know how. The only person that truly understood her was her dear brother, whom she treasures dearly. The days were repeating in a vicious cycle, it was like she was programmed to study, eat, study, do homework, sleep, wake up and all over again until days and days have passed. After her brother introduced her to Elder Tale, it seemed as he pulled her from the boring and dull reality she lived her whole life. After she's been been sucked into the world of Elder Tale, she has been looking for the brother each day and night. But alas, she did not menage to find him. It appeared that Hikari has cracked at the end. In order to save destruction of her mind, the raw essence of her madness created a new persona- a new Hikari, or as she would call it ''Yami''. Hikari still has her previous personality, but there are times when Yami's personality takes over and Hikari becomes a psychopath mass-murderer. The Heretic may alternately charge this skill to deal 25% extra damage and 1 additional point of Corruption for every second of charging. This skill has a cooldown of 5 seconds, a regular casting time of 2 seconds, and a maximum casting time of 5 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Shackles of the Sentenced: Miasma takes a tangible form in the shape of violet-black chains which erupt from the ground and wrap around a target. These chains root the enemy in place for 5 seconds. During this time, if the target should be afflicted with any skill that inflicts Corruption, their Corruption is increased by 1 additional point. This skill has a casting time of 1.5 seconds and a cooldown of 20 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Tainted Charity: Miasma and Anima are two sides of the same coin and so it is no surprise that Miasma can be used to restore the body. This skill heals the target by a small amount. Its animation is fairly deceptive, looking very similarly to the Heal skill. If a target who received healing from Tainted Charity is not healed again by Tainted Charity within 2 minutes, all HP restored by the skill is immediately removed. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds. Tainted Charity inflicts 2 points of Corruption on the target. [attr="class","skill"]Transmutation: Alchemists are naturally aligned with the power of magical equipment, able to use the Adventurer skill [Equipment Mastery: Magical] as a Beginner-level skill without having it take up a skill slot. Their research also gives them an advantage in fighting Artificial Life to deal an additional 10% damage. If [Equipment Mastery: Magical] is already learned through racial or class bonuses, Magitech damage increases by 10%. [attr="class","skill"]Haggling: Using an eye for money and sharp negotiations, Merchants can save up a lot of money in the long run. Merchants gain a passive 10% discount in Material Fees when crafting. This bonus also extends to a crafter who is crafting an item where the Merchant is the receiver. Doesn’t particularly have too many pages, but it is better than nothing. If used by a magic class, you get the ability to shoot a basic magic attack with a range of 2 meters. [attr="class","skill"]Right Hand: Starter Hex Doll A possessed doll with needles set. Piercing its body with a needle sends a thin projectile that is aimed toward the target's corresponding body part. It has a range of 2 meters.
