Milky white skin and blazing red hair isn’t something that ordinarily blends in with the crowd no matter the way you’re furnished. Nevertheless, despite looking like nothing less than an aberration, Remy composes himself with such a collected demeanor, most tend to keep their opinions to themselves on the matter of his odd appearance. Remy is a well-built man, lending himself more towards a ripped build than a stocky one. Dressed, Remy LeBeau could be mistaken for a circus clown, or a ring leader, though the latter confusion wouldn’t be farfetched. His odd face is only accentuated by a pink painted star under his right eye and a teal teardrop under his left eye, the significance remains secretive to him. He tends to rotate between two outfits both only differentiating in colors. Remy bears a sleeveless shirt at times white or black, with three diamonds on the chest of the shirt. The loose pants match in color with the shit, and so do his shoes, rimmed with a second color. That second color can also be found in large rings that surround his waist like a belt, as well as wrists, ankles and upper arms. His lack of more apparent armor is due to his resignation and acceptence of his class, as expected of a summoner, he has a low health and defense stat and doesn’t intend on shrouding himself in heavy armor, instead, he intends on shielding himself with his allies. Remy often has a smile twinkling on his lips, his eyes seemingly forever entranced in a dance. His red eyes mirror his hair though in rare moments when he’s brought to anger or frustration they can fade to a pale brown color, while whilst excited, they can brighten to a color hovering between orange and red. The arrogance he tends to exude with his smile is when that often brings him into fights he likely shouldn’t be seeking. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] Remy LeBeau is the sort of man you can come to like just as easily as you could come to detest. He’s got a warm charm to him which can sway one over or wound another’s pride. He tends to abundantly joyful though that rubs some the wrong way. Though it’s just as often from sheer arrogance as his equally clever and witty remarks. He’s not afraid to take a beating either and that lack of fear tends to prevent the normal restraint one would have on their words. Those whom have him as a friend can’t depend on him but will enjoy his company nonetheless. He’s a worthwhile ally though doesn’t have the fiercely loyal trait most would prefer in a friend. He’s the type of person who puts his personal interest above that of others. Though not to be mistaken for personal health, he’s genuinely out there for his personal interest. If he believes taking a hit will permit him to win a battle, he’ll quite willingly do it, if he believes that winning the battles means sacrificing allies, he’ll just as easily lend himself to that option. That is what he believes is what separates a skilled summoner from an ordinary one. Smarter allies will find him useful should they know how to handle him, though less than intelligent allies will find the inevitable truth at some point or another and feel themselves betrayed. Even a special kind of someone would still need to keep him in their peripheral vision for he’s not apt to give anyone special treatment above himself. In a way, one should find pleasure in the fact that they can trust in that they can’t trust him. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] Remy LeBeau was still a student at university by the time Elder Tale sucked its player population permanently into the game. A student in philosophy, LeBeau spent most of his time behind a laptop indulging in the Elder Tales instead of his teacher. A rather bright man, Remy exceeded in high school in various subjects though chose an easy path when attending post-secondary school education, doing it more so out of obligation than any personal desire. He didn’t grow up with much to desire, and attending a local university meant there wasn’t any need to venture out on his own in life, in turn most of it was spent playing video games. He didn’t have many close friends, instead holding a closer bond with his family then anything beyond that. Nevertheless, his manipulative personality remained active in life, often doing others work for extravagant funds to fund a rather lonely lifestyle locked in a bedroom. Remy found himself sucked into the world of Elder Tale about a year before the apocalypse just as he entered university. In fact, it consumed most of his first year, preventing him from properly integrating himself in his studies though he has no regrets on the matter, instead finding himself absorbed into the game. He’s also seen the apocalypse as a worthy opportunity. While many wish to return to the other world, he’s accepted Elder Tale as his new reality and would like nothing more than to see his end there. The Summoner calls forth a ghost-like servant that has low attack power but high evasion and magic resistance. This entity has a number of forms but usually appears as a miniature reaper-like creature with a violet cloak-like body and a simplified skull-like face. It is effective for diverting attention and performing recon duties. Phantom's personality type is Docile toward its Summoner and Curious toward all enemies. This follower takes 2 seconds of cast time to summon. [attr="class","skill"]Summon Follower - Golem: Rock-type Earth elemental familiar. Summons a large guardian composed of the surrounding material. If the material that the Summoner desires the Golem to be made out of is not around, they pay a higher price in mana to summon a golem of that type. Soil Golems are weaker in attack and health but are faster and regenerate quickly. Stone has decent attack, health, speed, and regeneration. Iron Golems are extremely strong in attack and health but lack speed and regenerative abilities. Its size starts at 1 meter, but grows an additional meter every 30 levels. Golem's personality type is Docile toward its Summoner and Wary toward all enemies. This follower takes 2 seconds of cast time to summon. [attr="class","skill"]Scrape Doll: A skill that requires either a Slime or Golem to be summoned. At this moment, the Summoner and the Follower's body is connected by a short blue string of mana. All damage taken by the Summoner is split evenly between themselves and the Familiar. This allows the Summoner to gain a decent level of defensive bulk, but the Summoner's naturally low HP means that this skill should not be overestimated. This skill has a casting time of 1.5 seconds. It inflicts a small MP drain on the summoner and can be manually canceled. As soon as it is canceled, this skill goes into cooldown for 10 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Transcription: Scribes are known for their ability to copy and examine documents carefully. This allows them to obtain the Adventurer skill [Mythic Script] as a Beginner-level skill without it taking up a skill slot. Their knowledge also allows them to use and read grimoires in the Ancient Text, allowing them to use grimoires without penalties and perform some basic magic attacks depending on their Magic stat. If the character can already use grimoires through racial or class bonuses, grimoire damage increases by 10%. [attr="class","skill"]Scout: The Animal Trainer attempts to recruit a monster to their cause in order to create a temporary partner. This is often done by approaching the monster without startling or aggravating it. If performed successfully, a tamed monster will fight by the Trainer's side for a few minutes before control is lost and the monster returns to the environment. Certain situations might make this duration last longer or shorter; acts of kindness toward the tamed monster will make it stick around for longer, while excessive demand will make the Trainer quickly lose favor with the monster. Only one monster can be tamed at a time at the early levels.
