He isn't tall, yet he isn't short. He is the perfect mix of the two, being completely average height. Osamu often wears glasses, as he has needed them since he was young, and was required to wear them to be of use to the Wardens. Despite this, he isn't very muscular or beefy, as he was put into a division that wasn't meant to take a large number of hits. His sleek and agile appearance is exactly how he wants himself to be, with long arms and legs. The clothing he wears is designed by the Wardens as a new-type of armor, hidden beneath advanced-looking clothing. Osamu is fitted for his role, and has kept himself in good shape for the job. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] Osamu isn't a very happy-go-lucky person, always thinking about thinks rationally and, sometimes, pessimistically. Practicality is something that he needed to have in order to perform his job correctly, and efficiently. Osamu's strongest emotions are his senses of duty and justice. Therefore, he hates Heretics for what they can become. Osamu was trained to kill on sight, so he can have a rather vicious personality about him when he's on the job. When not on the job, though, he can be rather timid. Not usually a very outgoing person outside of his line of work, he doesn't get along well with others. It's not that he isn't able to be nice and considerate, it's just that he has a tough time doing so. Never really being able to connect with others, he gets along just fine on his own. However, with his one or two closest friends, he's very cheerful and talkative. But, since his two closest friends are back in his home town, and he can no longer see them, he retreated back into his shell. He will carry out his mission just fine, just don't expect him to go out and drink with a large mass of people. That's not really his thing. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] Osamu is a Lander who was born far to the north, away from the Avon area. When he was young, he'd go to school, made some friends, and worked around his farm home along with his family. He cannot remember his very early childhood, as it was such a long time ago now, despite the fact that he's been alive for only so long. While he spent a majority of his time in the village he was born in, he'd go from time to time with his father on long trips to the local cities and sell their produce for that year. This was how his life had gone for quite some time now, and things were peaceful in the land where he was born. But, there began rumors of the Heretics in the land further north, and some in the south. A cultist following that was spreading across the land. Pretty soon, it came to his home. While some of the villagers were fully aware of the presence of the Heretics in their home, they paid no mind. The happy-go-lucky spirits of the people were not bothered by these people. Their foolishness and nonchalant behavior around these people would eventually bring their downfall, as the Heretics attacked from the inside out, and destroyed a majority of the land, corrupting it. Soon after, the wardens came in and quelled the Heretic rebellion, but it wasn't long after that Osamu's father and mother had been killed in an offertory sacrifice. This sent ripples through the village, and many villagers aided the wardens from that point on, until the Heretics were all but wiped from the annuls of history in their town. With no other place left to go, Osamu turned to the Wardens, without the knowledge of his friends. As he was 15 at the time, people just assumed that he had been sacrificed along with his parents. He asked that the information of him still being alive would be kept from the rest of the village, so as to not bother them with his name any longer. Osamu began training almost immediately, being trained in the Extermination-division of the Wardens. Years have passed, and his training has been completed. Now, he is ready to fulfill his prime directive, so to speak. Osamu is equipped with beginner equipment and a new line of armor, sent out to aid adventurers and landers alike, in order to end the Heretic menace. Has been trained to Kill on Sight. - Doesn't perform well in large groups, and tends to move on his own. - Home village is in the north, beyond the point where adventurers are allowed. The warden sweeps in a wide frontal arc, hitting up to 3 enemies within reach and increasing aggro against them. [attr="class","skill"]Simmer Down: Type- Ranged A debuffing attack which allows an aimed shot to reduce the attack power of the target by a small amount. [attr="class","skill"]Enhancer: Type- Modification Buff Increases the damage of a warden's weapons by 10%. [attr="class","skill"]High Jump: Passive. One of the most basic tricks of the Acrobat's specialty is their ability to jump greater heights than any average person. The Acrobat's maximum jumping height is doubled. While this skill might seem otherwise mundane, it can allow one to reach places that would be difficult for many others. [attr="class","skill"]Transmutation: Alchemists are naturally aligned with the power of magical equipment, able to use the Adventurer skill [Equipment Mastery: Magical] as a Beginner-level skill without having it take up a skill slot. Their research also gives them an advantage in fighting Artificial Life to deal an additional 10% damage. If [Equipment Mastery: Magical] is already learned through racial or class bonuses, Magitech damage increases by 10%. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Armor: Starter Warden Armor: A special armor type equal to chain armor, but with slightly less mobility. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. Cannot be enhanced by the Blacksmith ability Heatsink and is crafted exclusively by Mechanics. [attr="class","skill"]Left Hand: Starter Pistol: A crudely made starter weapon for adventurers. It is a single shot weapon and must be reloaded after every shot. [attr="class","skill"]Right Hand: Starter Long Sword: A sword with a prominent shape designed for cutting. A starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap iron. It is well-balanced and easy to use but doesn’t hit particularly hard at all. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can.
