In game, Tsuki stands at 175 centimeters, which is actually 3 centimeters shorter than his actual height. At the time it was just a throwaway decision to keep the number nice and rounded, although now he has to deal with the awkwardness that comes from having a mismatched height. For the most part, however, he modeled his character directly after himself. Same dark brownish-green eyes, same bowl-cut black hair, same light skin. The only real difference other than height is that David's hair is about 2 centimeters shorter than his character's due to a trim a short time prior. The length ingame is his preferred hair length.

David/Tsuki has a fairly average body type, all things considered. He isn't quite muscular, but he jogs in the morning the keep fit and is rather slim as well. In reality David wears prescription glasses for nearsightedness, however he is distasteful of them so usually leaves them out when it comes to designing characters. In game, his visual deficiency is not as prominent as it is outside, however, he does have some difficulty spotting things from a distance shorter than most others. He regrets not having given himself glasses, but it wasn't exactly a situation he could have predicted.

David prefers to wear multiple layers and has a certain affinity for scarves, which is reflected in game. Even when wearing the cloth robes of his class, he refuses to live without some form of muffler covering his neck. Normally he would forego his choice of neckwear in games, but as he and his character are now one and the same, the scarf is on.

In real life David enjoys making a lot of friends and keeping an active social life, working hard to balance fun and work as he studies for his classes. He enjoys taking time off from life to lose himself in video games, however, which was how he got in this situation in the first place.

David is friendly to everyone he meets for the first time, even if the subject does not reciprocate this kindness. He does take note of those who don't respond favorably to him, and tends to avoid people who don't seem to like him. He himself holds no ill will towards such people, even if he doesn't think they're particularly good people. He isn't the most energetic of people, nor is he one to stand out much in a crowd, but he's not unpopular and is generally well-liked.

Usually, David prefers high DPS or heavy tank classes when he plays MMOs, and only meant to dabble in the support role when he got his hands on Elder Tale. This lead to a rather uncomfortable position when he was stuck in the game, as he is nowhere near the tactician one would mistake him for when they note his class. This heavy mismatch causes many problems as he gets used to a playstyle almost totally foreign to him.

David was born to a Japanese father and an American mother. They met abroad in England and ended up marrying and living there. But that's another story. David himself lived a normal, ordinary life as the middle of three children for most of his life. His older and younger siblings are both brothers and only one year apart from him each. Growing up he had little troubles, getting into video games at a young age and actually playing more fighting games than MMOs for the most part. When he did get into multiplayer RPGs he tended towards classes with high damage output to slightly emulate his gaming background. He also did offtanking with monk-type classes, and sometimes full on tanking when his friends asked of him, but never touched any spellcaster roles. As for Elder Tale, David certainly knew of the game and its rich history, however when the UK server was announced he initially had no plans to play it. He had intended on focusing on university work, which he had recently started, until some friends from class coerced him into picking it up. At their suggestion, it was decided that he would for the first time try out a magic class, and in a fully supportive position. Ironically, these class friends were actually out when the expansion was released, meaning they were not sucked into the game on the Apocalypse. This left David alone in a strange environment, in a body he was vaguely uncomfortable with, stuck with abilities he was not quite familiar with.

Astral Hypno is a spell that induces a sleep debuff on the target, preventing them from making any actions until they are struck or after ten seconds have passed. The higher a target's wisdom stat, the higher their chances of resistance. It has a fairly low cooldown time for its effect, making it a very useful spell to be used for incapacitating an opponent.

Using their knowledge of herbs and natural remedies, the apothecary is able to treat others. The load time for this skill is ten seconds, and the target's HP is restored by 10%. Any physical status effects will also be cured. Due to a risk of possible toxicity effects, Concoction cannot be used on the same target more than once per thread.

Pharmacists have developed a certain resistance around drugs and are immune to status debuffs caused by potions. Additionally, they recover twice as fast from poison status effects.

[attr="class","skill"]Starter Cloth Armor: A basic set of cloth armor made from cheap fabric. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it.

[attr="class","skill"]Left Hand:Starter Staff: A two-handed starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap wood. It is typically used to channel magic, but can also be used to whack people on the side of the head. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can.
