Sitting in the crafting district and looking at the receipt in the midday sun, she felt so happy that soon she would have her own place. Sleeping in inn's had run it's course, and thanks to a really good friends help, she would soon have a nice little nice place of her own in London. Lying back on the rock she had appropriated, she began thinking of her mana armor, her hand slipping over her leather variant as the symbols atop it shined in reaction. Her thoughts wandered to the magical game of Atelier, and how many hours she had spent making things from other things. Impossible things made from just salt and dirt. Or maybe a bomb that in inexplicably shot water everywhere, poisoned enemies, healed the party and even caused a black hole all at once. It was things like this that caused her to choose the Alchemist class over Pharmacist.
To finally have the ability to create some of the things she had dreamed of in those games. To see the recreation of marvels and oddities by her own hands. She truly thought that it was the right choice, even if her original instincts would have her make medicine. Though, nothing did stop her from doing so eventually of course, once Alchemy told her everything. Here in this world, she could be as powerful as her favorite girl Rorolina. Maybe even rival her. The thought made her so very excited. She now had that very same power and felt all the closer to that series than before. It was even the reason she decided to make her Alchemic colors silver and Pink. Rorolina had a thing for the same colors. It was strange she knew to have a affection for a fictional character, but now they were in a game world. Doing Game things living with people that were fictional in the first place.

So, there she lay, hand laying atop her armor as the obvious glowing barriers shimmered a dull blue. Still not functioning right but she was confident that she could make it work. Maybe more Golem hunting was in order. Sitting up, Tessia began rummaging through her menu for Alchemy item's, taking out her most recent purchases as well. Some new item's had been discovered and she was sure to buy at least five of all of them. You always had to have more than needed to make Alchemy work properly. And to account for failures. Poking up the current recipe lists she had researched, there were a few new things she wanted to get around to making.
First, she arranged a simple circle of the required items for a Firearm Mana Fragment. Slipping on her leather gloves, she picks up two of her Mana Fragments and closes her eyes. They had to be combined to form a bigger more stable Fragment. Her tattoos shimmering a deep blue she claps her hands suddenly as a pinkish flash erupts from her palms as the Fragments become one. Sighing as she smiles at her mana bar, very glad to have chosen to be a Ritual. Having such a large mana pool was very useful for these experiments. Placing the larger pulsing Fragment aside gently, she then slipped two more fragments towards her and took out a throwing knife.

Carving into the surface of the stone roughly she drew the magic circle associated with Alchemy and placed the two smaller Fragments on either side of the circle and the larger more stable one in the center. Reaching out mentally she placed her hands upon the circle being sure not to touch the Fragments at all. Closing her eyes she exerted her will into the circle, feeling her mana flow out and into it. As if a stream of power had opened around her, she could feel her energy rushing about the circle and fusing the smaller Mana Fragments together into a force of power. As her Tattoos flickered a dark blue, the stream of power now rushed into the Stable Mana Core.
Still having no idea what to expect, she kept feeding the reaction a steady flow of energy. As soon as the entire circle lit up, she felt the center of it pulse at her as her hands lifted and she opened her eyes. Just in time to receive a flashing bolt of raw power to her chest. She groaned as the newly created Fragment flickered and shined in the sunlight. Ignoring her HP bar, she picks up the powerful Fragment and nods, it certianly felt strong enough to attempt her next invention. Like her Mana Armor that now shone upon her leather armors surface, she had plans on making a Mana Blade equivalent that hopefully worked similar to it. Putting the new item away she sighed and rubbed her stomach, that bolt really hit good and her Mana Armor still didn't seem to be working properly.

Oddly enough, the strike from the Fragment activated her Mana Shield as she heard the device kick on and the felt the blue shield floating atop her armor. It hadn't worked before for some reason, may it just required a jolt from a mana source? Shaking the thoughts away, she brought up the user interface and began working through the known Alchemist Recipes. She had seen it before a device that could auto load your weapon for you, even replace your projectiles with raw mana ones. After a bit of searching the database, she found its name Lunar Illusion" she muttered. A small smile on her features as she considered the irony that her own marks were of the moon and its phases. Nodding, she stood and moved off towards another table were a few people were working with Scribe equipment and items.
After a bit of bartering, she convinced them to part with the Basic Grimoire she needed and the Magicians Reloader part of the Recipe. Thanking the Scribe crafters and paying them she returned to her own table, eager to fuse the objects and a old diode with her bow. Being sure to use her best part in the mix, she began tracing a large magic star into the dirt. Placing the Diode at the top, and the two other objects at the sides of the lower points of the star, she stepped back and nodded. It would work, she just had to be sure to make the bow take on the shape correctly and not snap it in the process. focusing on her will, she leaned down and placed her hands upon the star sigil traced in the ground.

Feeling her mana jump from her palms and into the sigil, she kept her focus steady and her concentration on the flow. It so wanted to just leap about and go everywhere, but she fought to feel out the outer ring of the sigil then its inner star shape. She couldn't wait to have her own shop, and not have to keep coming back here to make things or sell objects. It would certainly give her a place to work and rest all in one. Focusing she felt the items begin to shift about and meld into her bow. She thought of the thin crescent shape of the moon, and felt her will take over the bows new shape. Silver. The Diode shined bright and trapped the light glowing off her shimmering silver tattoos. Covering the bow in a translucent almost ghastly silver metal.
She began to meld it in her mind, shaping the bows form into a recurve, both for added impact and to shape the arms of the bow like individual crescent moons. As the pink light faded and the sigil disappeared, she opened her eyes and gaped as she saw her mana bar had dropped to less than half. This was certainly a costly experiment in both items and mana. Looking now at the bow, it lay there a perfect reflection of what her minds eye saw. Glimmering in the reflection of trapped moonlight, the silver attached to the bow was almost see through. Beautiful and deadly just as she had intended it. Stooping to scoop up the weapon, she nodded and gave the string a practice draw.

The etched contract on the bows so thin handle shimmered as she drew it back. It looked almost as if it it would snap, so limber yet so strong and infused with magic. A silver nigh invisible arrow with no tip or fetching formed were the object would be and she smiled. It was truly a simple but elegant fix. The fusion of the Reloader and the Diodes help made it so that the bow was now feather light. The Grimoire had made the sigil writing now on the handle were her palm was, she had signed to form the contract as written in the Recipe. She dubbed the weapon "Blind Crescent" and added it too her inventory, a thoroughly pleased smile on her features as she began laying out objects for her next Alchemical creation.
More like reinforcement this time, as she took out some reinforced wire and a few more diodes. Taking off her Frozen Crescent and once more tracing a small circle, she laced it in the center and the objects all about the star's points. She had to make the very best one she could at this point. Accel Dance had won her many fights thus far, and the cooldown reduced would just make it even more deadly. Focusing, she reached out and felt the mana leap from her hands and into the sigil. Hearing the clinking and scraping of frozen ice, metal, and parts fusing with one another, Tessia could feel that adding better parts was improving the tiny wonder.
After the pinkish flash went off signaling that the process was done, she sighed and felt her head pulse a little. She was out of mana once more. Nodding to her U.I she tapped the description of her now shimmering Frozen Crescent. By adding the upgraded items, she had managed to improve the cooldown reduction by all but 2 seconds. IT was good enough for her. She scooped up the small trinket and reattached it too her belt, glad to have made some progress in the creation of some new things. Making her way back too the Inn she was staying at untll her home was done, Tessia felt a wave of happiness as she patted her gleaming almost ghastly bow upon her back. It was a good day.
