we must be K I L L E R S CHILDREN OF THE WILD ONES It was that time of the month again. Well, more like week with the way Blue had been cramming work in. Stone works had riddled her entire workshop now, and the place was beginning to become a giant mass of dust and stone chippings. The young artisan was never much of a sculptor but she had been practicing a lot lately, and she felt the results were improving. More quality work in less time than before. It was quick, easy, efficient, and payed well in the short term. Blue could get used to this kind of living. Oh who was she kidding, she already had. If her music career never took off, she could always fall back on her mastery of the arts. Hell if that didn't work, maybe she'd start writing books. Authors lived well enough, and Blue did so love fiction. But that was neither here nor there. What was she going to do with all this dust?
"I'm not even sure where to dispose of you anymore."
She muttered softly, sweeping up chalky substance in a makeshift dustpan. Wait a minute... Chalk. CHALK. That was perfect! She could easily make use of this damnable pile of dust. Recycling was always the best answer to a conundrum of used goods. Blue took the pan over to a workbench, ignoring the creek of the decrepit table as she sorted her tools around over it. One day she'd have to buy an actual shop and not use this broken down ruin as a hide-out. Bah, who cared about that? There was work to be done. Blue needed water... and clay. Oh and maybe something to act as a pigment. She probably had some colored stone laying around somewhere she could use. How exciting! WHERE WE GOT LEFT TO R U N ?

we must be K I L L E R S CHILDREN OF THE WILD ONES Blue returned rather hastily with the materials she needed to create her desired item. Oh what fun, what fun. Water to mix, clay to hold the solution together, a mold to give it shape, and some pigments for whatever color she wanted. Oh, and a bowl and stirring rod to mix in. Couldn't forget that now. Not that Blue hadn't forgotten stuff like that before and produced something anyway. She was never the organized type, that was to be sure. If it weren't for her work ethic, she wouldn't be half as successful an artist as she was. The author of this post could learn a thing or two from her. But that was neither here nor there. Chalk! She'd start by mixing the pigments in with the water, namely a combination of paint to make a pinkish color. She had to be careful with the amount or the color would be too strong for her liking.
"Mmm... I'm gonna have a lot of chalk after this. I should hand some out afterwards." Blue muttered to herself, mixing the pigment into the water before grabbing the clay residue from her sculptures. She'd have to poor carefully, make sure it was the correct balance of elements or the batch would be spoiled. It was all coming together decently enough. She'd be done with the crafting portion within an hour or so. Mixing and more mixing, that was what most of this was. Chalk was one of the easiest things to make if you were bored at home and had nothing better to do. Blue was that kind of girl. When mother and father were off working, she'd make her own chalk and draw on the streets. Probably not the best use of one's time but hey, she was an over-active seven year-old.
"Noooow..." Blue had everything properly mixed at this point. She just needed to poor it in the molds and she'd be satisfied.

craft lvl 3 (I just really wanted to finish) 259 we must be K I L L E R S CHILDREN OF THE WILD ONES   Holy crap waiting sucked. Waiting really sucked. Guys did you know that waiting sucked. Blue thought it would be easy you know. She just poured the mixture into the molds and threw them into her stone oven to cook for a while. But holy hell was that a bad idea. Sitting around making sure your mixture came out alright was torture. What were these hands? Were these IDLE hands? Oh hell no. Blue ended up sketching random doodles the entire time as she waited for her plaster chalk to cook. She had forgotten about this part. This was why Blue hadn't taken up cooking, or chemistry, or anything like that. Being unable to do anything with your hands while you waited for something to happen was unbearable.
Ding! Finally! Blue raced over to her craft, sporting oven mitts and an excited expression as she carefully pulled out the mold. Damn this looked fancy. Get excited kids, we got us some chalk. Blue could work with this, certainly. It'd just be a matter of time-- God dammit she had to wait more. THIS. THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS. Blue was certainly a child of the current century. Back in the old days, waiting wasn't nearly as arduous but nowadays when you had to wait for something, you'd blame it on lag and kick your computer or whatever device you were using. But enough about social divergence, this thread's more or less wrapped up. God help us if we do something so dull as waiting again.
