[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]Sergej [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Dmitriy Sergej Petrov [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 27 [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Heterosexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: hector, FIRE EMBLEM [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: Wermut [attr="class","bi2"]FACTION: Adventurer [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"]Dmitriy is a rather tall man with a body built for weightlifting, and Rugby. His muscles are extremely well toned due to the environment he was raised in, and this rubbed off onto his character in Elder Tale. His Elder Tale persona has only one change from his original self in the real world; his hair and eyes are a deep shade of blue. The man stands at six foot four, or 1.9558 meters tall with broad shoulders that seems to accent his extremely heavy accent. Dmitriy’s hair sweeps to the left as it bunches in thick strands that dangle just barely above his eyebrow. With his large stature, deep heavily accented voice, one might view him as a villain. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]Sergej Petrov is a strange man. He always avoided fighting due to his lack of self control over his own strength, and thus with such a massive body became sort of a softy. His peers always teased him about his size, causing the rather large man to start spouting things about how others just need more ‘strength’ to match him, and others were obviously jealous of his large stature. The poor man loves to laugh and chat despite having an obviously hard time speaking his native language (english), and has lately been the ‘party guy’ in the real world due to his rather likable drunken state, which he attempts to be in as much as possible. Since Dmitriy isn’t the smartest cookie in the cookie jar, he might be the one cookie that is dumb enough to eat the jar through sheer rashness; after all he just simply lacks the switch in his head that tells him “NO!” when speaking. Yes, it gets worse when he is drunk. This man always stands tall, as tall as he can be; after all, the smaller ones need a bigger one to look after. He always speaks the truth through his rashness, and almost never tells white lies, even if the women of his dreams asks him if she looks fat in that dress, while being pudgy herself. Dmitriy often finds it easy to trust others, mostly because he knows he doesn’t know much, and understands that others know more, often viewing them as teachers in their own retrospect. One would think a man of his stature would have no fears, especially since death holds no sway over his actions; both in and out of Elder Tale. Dmitriy’s greatest fear, is that he would grow weak, and frail. The more and more useless he feels, the more stricken with fear he becomes; often times it requires one close to him just to pull him out of his shock. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]Dmitriy was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and lived there with his single father until he was two; just before he learned how to speak. Within Dmitriy’s third year, their family of two moved to Britain, where his father worked as a basic construction worker. Once Dmitriy was of age to go to school, he was enrolled in a simple public school. The young man, being nearly twice the size of those he was around at his age, was shunned by the other kids due to his massive height and weight. Eventually the bullying became so terrible, that by the end of the year he was pulled out of the public school, and taught at home. This was possibly one of the best choices for the boy. He was able to learn english (from his father, which had it’s own complications), and most of all he learned basic math; not much else (his father was a terrible teacher in his own right). Funnily, his father was surprisingly good with money, and managed to pass this on by handing the young Dmitriy a small allowance, and telling him that it is ‘bread money.’ Later on in Dmitriy’s life, it became relevant that his father wasn’t particularily a good parent, only giving Dmitriy enough food to survive. This spurred Dmitriy into the work force, where he grew into the man he was now. It all started with trying out for a Rugby team. Out of every other new player there, he stood out as the biggest and strongest of them all; at a staggering six foot two inches at the age of 18 as well as his 200 pounds of pure muscle. One would think that this meant he was chosen for the team. No, he was denied access due to his near incapability to speak anything but broken english. His spirit was not broken, however, and he began visiting a nearby gym where bodybuilders gathered. A couple of men there pulled him to the side almost immediately upon his entry; they knew he was a good catch. They offered him cash, and even more if he entered the strong-man contest within the next hour. Dmitriy was ecstatic! Something he was capable of doing more than anything else, was lifting heavy objects! He accepted, and entered the contest; placing third out of every man there. Despite not winning, the men still paid him as if he had won; they hadn’t expected a complete newbie to place in one of the top three locations. He was only twenty at this time, and rather than spend this sudden influx of cash, he banked it. With the money hidden from his father, he continued to train himself, keeping himself well fed while he bet against other lifters, while lifting weights of his own. Jump ahead a couple of years, and it became quite apparent that Dmitriy earned a name for himself among the lifters. He was simply referred to as the Russian many times, especially to those new to the establishment since he was the only one with a heavy Russian accent (and he was the only one who spoke that way). However, eventually his time there had to come, but nobody expected how it had to. In a freak lifting accident one of the hundred pound discs slid off of the bar of a nearby lifter, falling from three feet and landing just above Dmitriy’s pelvis. Dmitriy Sergej Petrov was only 27 years old at the time. While he was rushed to the surgery room, he lost all feeling in his lower legs; the pain he felt from where the disc had landed seemed to dull it out, but when he was put on anaesthetics, was when he realized what had happened. The disc had landed with such an impact, that is shattered the lower portion of his spine, paralyzing him from the waist down. Before long, the world went black. A couple days later, Dmitriy came to his senses, while sitting at home, trapped in a wheelchair. His entire life had flipped around. Before he was a powerful bodybuilder, but what is a bodybuilder without his legs to lift him? Dmitriy kept exercising the best he could, before one of his colleagues from the gym brought him a box, an apology gift, two years late. He was twenty nine now, had been crippled for two years and had managed to keep himself in good shape, and what was in that box that his acquaintance had brought him? It was Elder Tale, and a computer to run it. He was told that inside the game he could be himself again, all that he needed to do was turn the computer on, and play; or so he thought. It all blacked out from there, before re-materializing. He was standing inside an overgrown, abandoned city, clad in plate armor with a two-handed axe in his hand. Was this a dream? At first he thought it was, especially since he was standing. A couple steps revealed that it was simply too real to be a dream. Whatever happened, he was in another place, and was able to walk again. Perhaps it was fate that drew him here? Only the world of Elder Tale knows. [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"]Sergej is 6’4” tall in the game, and in real life. In the real world, his arms were strong enough to lift nearly twice his bodyweight. He hates talking about his family, and pretends his father doesn’t exist. He talk like true man, with big booming voice! In combat he tends to feel a strange berserker rage, even sometimes accidently attacking his allies at the end of combat, or swinging at them if they enter range. He doesn’t do this on purpose though, and is not attributed to his role-playing class of Berserker. Fighting is real in Elder Tale, and feels real, thus his reaction. Sergej often teases those around him about their actions, or how they look (compared to him that is). He respects strength and resolve, but doesn’t scorn cowardice. His favorite color is blue. His least favorite color is yellow. It is not manly color like pink! His favorite food has always been hot dogs. Whenever possible, Sergej WILL drink. No this does not activate berserker status. His blood type is A+. His Star sign is Taurus. He chose axe because when axe hit enemy they fall like tree! Dmitri is right-handed. |

This causes movement speed away from the Guardian to lower the farther away a target is. As a result, some might attempt to make a run for it by either dashing or jumping. These two actions trigger the second part of this skill, which delivers a heavy counter to punish a retreating foe. It effectively serves as a way to maintain the enemy's attention on the Guardian. This skill has an animation time of 3 seconds, maximum duration of 10 seconds, and a cooldown of 30 seconds. If the Guardian moves from their initial position, this skill is canceled. [attr="class","skill"]Taunting Shout: Tier I Guardian Skill A aggro-gaining skill that targets a single enemy and boasts one of the lowest cooldowns in the Guardians' skill list. The Guardian provokes a single opponent and draws their attention. Because of this basic utility, it is a very simple skill mostly used by beginners. Of course, if there's only one opponent, why waste your time when you can stick with this classic? This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 5 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Counter Break: Tier I Guardian Skill Every force has an equal and opposite reaction. When attacked, the two options are usually to move out of the way or brace and block the attack somehow. However, some choose a third unusual option which is to face the attack head on with a display of power of your own. By literally attacking an attack with an attack, you not only mess up the collision point but you negate most of your opponent’s power using your own kinetic energy. Also, if you surpass your opponent in power sufficiently, it is possible to break apart the opponent’s attack so significantly that you can chain it into an attack of your own. This skill can only be used as a counterattack against skills with an animation time of 2 seconds or more. Counter Break has a cooldown of 30 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Outrage: Level 1 Berserker Skill In times of desperation, the Berserker's physical abilities start to shine. When the Berserker's HP falls below 25%, their damage output increases by 5%. When the Berserker's HP falls below 10%, their damage output increases by 10% instead. [attr="class","skill"]Heatsink: Level 1 Blacksmith Skill Blacksmiths are able to wear chain armor without penalties if they are normally unable to wear chain armor. They are able to wear plate armor without penalties if they are normally able to wear chain armor but not plate armor. Also a toggle skill. Through their skills at working around a forge, blacksmiths have developed a slight tolerance toward heat. They take reduced damage of 10% from fire-based attacks. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Armor: Starter Platemail: A basic set of plate armor made from cheap iron. They are not really too protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. [attr="class","skill"]Left Hand: Starter Great Axe: A starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap iron and wood. It is well-balanced and easy to use but doesn’t hit particularly hard at all. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can.
