[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]Ollander [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Colin Alexander Freia [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 18 [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Heterosexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: Hibiki Kuze, DEVIL SURVIVOR II [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: Ollander [attr="class","bi2"]FACTION: Adventurer [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"]Colin based his avatar off of himself, an individual of average height and build. Coming in at just around 5'10", or 177.5 centimeters, and weighing around 170 pounds, or 77.1 kilograms, he isn't super scrawny, but also at the same time he isn't all too muscular. He has black hair that falls to just above his jaw, with bright blue eyes and a knowing smirk that seems to be his most natural expression. Truly, the only difference between his in game avatar and his real self if a nasty scar that crosses his face, which he removed from Ollander when he was creating his character, so he could play as his ideal self. In the real world, Colin would most of the time be found wearing colors of blue and white, almost exclusively, a stylistic choice that truly had no foundation other than the fact that he just liked the way clothes of those colors looked. In game, while he cannot always wear those colors due to it being difficult to find nice armor or clothes that are all blue and white at such a low level, he added a single streak of blue hair to himself, to give himself a dash of odd, though not bad, flair. Finally, on his tongue is printed a bright blue tattoo in the shape of the rim of a semicircle with a miniature triangle at its center. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]Colin, in the real world, was a bit of an intellectual. He prided himself in his studies, and managed to balance a healthy social life with the intricacies of proper study time. He was friendly, though not overly so, although at times he could be a bit cocky. Furthermore, he was a very helpful individual, and found entertainment in aiding others with their own studies or other tasks with which they may have needed help. Colin is a big lover of literature, and if not careful, someone could find themselves talking with the bookworm for whole hours on different works of both fiction and nonfiction. This was a key factor in deciding his subclass. But at times he can become lazy, at least when dealing with himself. He can forget simple things that need doing, or decide not to get up and do what needs to be done during the day if someone else is not depending on him. He also has a hard time saying no to his friends, and will often find himself pulled along to help with tasks he would rather not help with. This innate obligation can help him to make friends, but is also able to, at times, overwork him if he is not careful. Colin has a strong dislike for those that use others for their own personal gain, and if he can will step in to stop such an individual from harming others due to their selfishness. His favorite pass-time is reading, and his favorite food is pasta. He loves the ocean, and because of that his favorite color also happens to be blue. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]Colin was born into a wealthy family. From an early age he was given what he wanted, whenever he wanted, but for whatever reason it never went to his head. He grew to be a kind person, and refused to take that which he did not work for or earn. His parents, not quite sure why he was like this, were concerned at first, but over time decided not to question the need to spend less money on their child than what they had assumed he would want. When he started school, Colin was enrolled in the finest Prep School his parents could afford, and while at first he found it hard to adjust to school life and the entitled attitudes of many of his fellow students, since the majority of them were from families as wealthy as his own and without his sense of kindness. But over time he managed to find put together a close knit group of friends, which whom he grew up with and would spend hours whiling away the day. This often included playing videogames together with them, and one of the few times he ever truly asked his parents to spend money on him just to spend it was when he asked for a PC to join his friends in an online game called Elder Tale. He started out in 2014, his first year of High School, when one of his friends brought a copy of it to school to show it to the group during a passing period. The Elder Tale craze quickly caught on, and as soon as he was able to, Colin joined them in the MMORPG. As Britain did not have its own server, they all joined the next closest thing, and quickly began to advance and level up their characters, forming a Guild known as Never Always. Though it was a small guild, they found that they enjoyed each other's company in a smaller group than in a large one. For a few years, they played together like this, until a new expansion was announced and the group heard that Britain would finally be getting its own server, which would be called the Unfounded Kingdom. Although they would all have to start new characters and abandon Never Always to switch, they knew they wanted to be a part of the start of a new frontier. Little did Colin know that his friendship with them would soon come crashing to an end. That end came in the form of a drunk driver careening into their path on their way to school. It was their last week of High School, and they would soon be heading off to University. They often times rode together to discuss strategy for Elder Tale, and one such time, when Colin himself was driving, he allowed himself to be distracted by a cheery discussion on the nature of what their first few days on the new server might be like. It happened as he turned away, and although he couldn't have helped it, he would always believe that if he had been looking he may have been able to save them. They were struck at seventy miles an hour, the drunk driver far exceeding the speed limit and sending both cars off a bridge into a river below. Colin was immediately knocked out, and the next thing he knew he was waking up in the hospital, a week later. He knew only one thing; pain unlike anything he had ever felt. He knew without even looking that his face had taken a painful slash from the wreck. He couldn't bring himself to check for the scar; it hadn't had time to heal yet, and was barely scabbed over. Over the next couple of weeks, his whole world was turned upside down. His friends were all dead, as was the driver that had struck them. Miraculously, while he had suffered the large cut across his face and several broken bones throughout his body, and he had a strange burning pain that didn't seem to go away, he was otherwise alright. Considering that everyone else involved had died, the doctors said that he was one of the luckiest patients they had ever had. He honestly wished he had died along with his friends. He felt responsible, as if it were his own fault they were gone. While it made no sense for him to think that way, he couldn't help it. It took him a long while to truly recover from the loss, and for a while Elder Tale was forgotten. Then, as he was walking along the sidewalk one day, hunched over on an aimless stroll that he had gone out on to just think, he looked up to see an advertisement for the new expansion for Elder Tale, the Novasphere Pioneers. He was suddenly struck by a huge yearning to see the world that he and his friends had wanted to discover together. He owed it to them to go to that new server and explore that new world on his own, to do for them what they could no longer do themselves. A month later, at the expansion's release, he was one of the first in line to buy it, and upon logging in and creating his character, soon found himself a part of something no one had seen coming. An event many took to calling The Catastrophe. [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"]Right-Handed Blood Type-O |
