[attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"] Zarsyth is an interesting one, having chosen to make himself within the game. He had hesitated to do so, until he saw the different races. Very swiftly he chose Fox-Tail and began to create his character. Going to the height adjustments, he made this Fox 5'5” and thinned out the model just a little bit. Then, he took the hair and spiked up the front just a little, making the color of his character's hair a dark brown. He tends to keep it like this, but has no care of what his hair looks like in private. In real life, he wears very simple clothing, typically shorts and a t-shirt or jeans and a jacket, depending on the weather. In game, he keeps his character's robes intelligent looking, with a color scheme leaning towards red, purple and gold. He enjoys hoods on his characters for roleplaying purposes of hiding their identity from time to time. He made the skin color to be a bit tanned, like himself. Finally, feeling embarrassed while doing so, he added his birth mark. The “Z” on the roof of his mouth. It was the inspiration for his character's name. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]Zarsyth is an introvert. He keeps to himself and is awkward in social situations; however, if he is approached and spoken to then he will not turn them away and will engage in conversation. He often takes the research of others and pieces them together to forge new ideas and then experiments with them until he can tell that they either work or fail. When figuring out how best to do something, he goes out and tries it himself. If he fails, he looks at what happened and what caused it to go wrong and then fixes a solution based from that. Often he takes the advantages and disadvantages of every situation and attempts to weigh them in his (or his party's) favor to achieve the best outcome possible for those he is working with. Preferring to plan out situations, he tends to just feel his way through most things with the basis of a plan in mind. Generally speaking, he will be honest with those he is talking to but feels no shame in small lies from time to time. He trusts those he knows, and it takes a little work to get that way with him. He is also loyal to those he trusts, willing to follow them into almost any situation. Almost. He tries to avoid large group conversations, and prefers to keep the meetings small or to just a few people. The fewer the amount of people, he less on edge is and more likely to be open. Should he find love in this world, he'd put them first, even above his word and loyalty. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]Aaron's early life was a fairly easy one. From ages one through seven, everything was normal. He was happy, got along with his siblings and parents as much as the very few kids who he actually knew. His best friend was a boy named Frederick, (soon to be made into a character after I get some experience on this website) whom he trusts with his life. Later in his life, eight through nineteen, his voice changed. It actually changed around eleven and had dropped dramatically. People would actually think it was fake. In school Aaron was the good, quiet student. He never spoke much due to fear of being mocked and answered only when nobody else would. His teachers liked him and the students respected him. Frederick had come to school today looking a little antsy, it being his birthday. He informed Aaron that they were both old enough to play any online game with their actual birthdays. This excited the young boy Aaron and immediately downloaded it. They started their adventure together in Elder Tale and had not made it past the first level when everything went down the drain. Now they stand together, ready to take on the world of Elder Tale. Aaron knew one thing coming into this, he wanted to know everything about the game that he could. So he picked the Scholar subclass and formed his character around that. [attr="class","skill"]Skill Name: Psychic Conductor: The Sorcerer channels mana toward an inanimate object within 10 meters and lifts it into the air. This object can then be used to bludgeon enemies until it either breaks or the user cancels their grip on the object. Psychic Conductor can lift objects with a maximum weight equal to 10 pounds times the user's level. It cannot be used on objects that are in the possession of another character and slowly drains the user's MP over time. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds from the moment it is canceled. [attr="class","skill"]Skill Name: Serpent Bolt: A spell that shoots an initial blue-purple lightning bolt toward a target. However, rather than discharging entirely on the target on contact, the lightning remains as static energy. For 30 seconds at about 3-second intervals, the electricity arcs away from the target to damage and stun any other nearby enemies. As a result, it serves as a slight deterrent against defensive formations. Although this spell has a fairly long cooldown time, it has a fast casting speed and is often favored for use at the beginning of a battle. Because the target used to channel the electricity is not damaged by the spell, many Sorcerers also tend to cast it on themselves or a teammate as a supportive offense. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 45 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Skill Name: Transcription: Scribes are known for their ability to copy and examine documents carefully. This allows them to obtain the Adventurer skill [Mythic Script] as a Beginner-level skill without it taking up a skill slot. Their knowledge also allows them to use and read grimoires in the Ancient Text, allowing them to use grimoires without penalties and perform some basic magic attacks depending on their Magic stat. If the character can already use grimoires through racial or class bonuses, grimoire damage increases by 10%. [attr="class","skill"]Skill Name: Evaluate: This skill allows the scholar to gain additional details about the enemy. While most players can access an interface that shows the monster's name, level, current HP, and current MP, the scholar obtains an additional interface when this skill is used. It has a one second cast time and one second cooldown time. The target's elemental weaknesses and a brief summary of their skills will be made available to the Scholar any time they access the target's interface. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Starter Cloth Armor: A basic set of cloth armor made from cheap fabric. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. It is typically used to channel magic, but can also be used to whack people on the side of the head. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can.
