Appearance Due to having chosen race of ritual as his Race Xylef has runes and symbols all over his body in a blood red color. Felix's avatar stands approximately five feet nine inches tall and has a muscular build for one of the race of ritual. As one of the race of ritual Xylef would be hard pressed to hide the runes that he does have along his face, neck, and other such difficult to hide places. Some of the most prominent runes Xylef has are the symbol of the lotus flower in a sanguine color on the back of his right hand, and a tattoo in the same color which, extends from his left shoulder blade to his wrist. Both runes are rarely covered due to the sleeveless or short sleeve robes Xylef wears in game. Pictures of mentioned runes: Lotus Flower Left Arm | Personality Xylef is in general a laid back, calm and collected individual yet choose to run the Heretic class which is nearly the exact opposite of his surface personality. While not always being the kindest or gentlemanly Xylef can be counted on to keep a level head, and to have an objective opinion in any situation. Conversing with others whether they be adventurers or people of the land, Xylef is not completely outspoken, but in no way shy or introverted. One would be hard pressed to get a strong emotional reaction out of Xylef, and one might come to question his humanity if they knew him well enough. Xylef is not opposed to strong planning before action, but acknowledges the fact that every plan has it's flaws no matte how minor. In negotiations Xylef can be slightly manipulative and is not opposed to throwing a falsehood in here and there to get his way, and due to this Xylef is also likely to take any questionable comments or advice with a grain of salt. Xylef does not avoid fighting or competition in any format, yet only actively seeks it when provoked. Though he knows that death is in no way permanent in Elder Tales, Xylef has a strong dislike for his own dying in the game. In combat Xylef changes dramatically, which could be attributed to miasma and it's corrupting effects, just as much as it could be an intense will to survive. After about a minute of combat Xylef becomes a sadistic, and calculating fighter who stops at almost nothing to kill that which opposes him. Xylef in this mode is not easily provoked, but is much more likely to react than in other situations. Xylef will hold back on his fighting passion as to not deal damage to allies, unless absolutely necessary. Due to this Xylef often fights alone, as it is easier with his fighting stye, even if his class is not built for intense fighting. |

Biography
Since he was a young boy and even before he could remember Felix had a weird reaction to aggressiveness and competition. His personality would change, but these changes were always minor and could be passed off as getting too caught up in the heat of the moment. As he aged this situation did not get better, and despite a caring family and good friends Felix couldn't stop himself from taking things a little too far. Due to this He was always picked first for games such as football and the like, yet reserved fro last for the more simple games. Felix would even get to the point where he would hurt others intentionally to win. Due to this Felix began to become more laid back and became less likely to join in on competitions. This choice made Felix have a much easier time in all his endeavors and not having to worry about his personality changing on him as he did in the past.As Felix grew older he became a computer programer as a full time job and was well off enough to pay for a few computers of his own. On these computers Felix played a game which he had heard of from co-workers called Elder Tale. Due to his playing the game Felix became more accepting of the side that emerged in competition, and this made his personality a little and more manipulative. Somehow Felix's other side had a way of changing his regular personalty through prolonged exposure. This did not change his attitude at the work place other than helping score a promotion, but Felix did find that his other self was becoming even more sadistic and competitive. In the coming months a new expansion would be released For Elder Tale and Felix wanted to be one of the first to play, so he took some vacation time for the launch and made sure he had the patch downloaded asap. Soon enough Felix had launched up the game, and joined a newly released server called the Unfounded Kingdom, and he made a character called Xylef under the Class of Heretic.

EQUIPMENT
Left Arm | Armor Starter Cloth Armor: A basic set of cloth armor made from cheap fabric. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it.Pick an available type for your class (Ex: Plate for Guardians, Leather for Assassins, Cloth for Enchanters). If you're a Blacksmith, you can get one tier up as described in its skill list. | Right Arm Starter Crystal Ball: A crystal ball crudely made from glass. It appears to be fairly old and unpolished, but still possesses magical power. A wielder of the Crystal Ball is able to make it float in the air, able to bludgeon foes up to 1 meter away with the ball. |

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Heretic
Centripetal Buffer: A skill usable only with a Crystal Ball equipped. The Heretic creates two copies of the crystal ball using Miasma as a temporary composition material. The three crystal balls then float about half a meter outward and rapidly spin around the user. This allows for a decent amount of protection against oncoming physical attacks. Centripetal Buffer has a duration of 10 seconds, a cooldown of 20 seconds, and a cast time of 3 seconds. Centripetal Buffer deals 2 points of Corruption to any targets struck by this skill. Centripetal Buffer's casting time can be increased by 2 seconds in order to summon an additional orb and deal 2 additional points of Corruption to targets.
Miasma Bullet: The Heretic generates Miasma into a black orb projectile. The orb is then fired toward an enemy within 10 meters at a high velocity. Exposure to this concentrated mass deals dark attribute damage to the target and applies 1 point of Corruption to the target. The Heretic may alternately charge this skill to deal 25% extra damage and 1 additional point of Corruption for every second of charging. This skill has a cooldown of 5 seconds, a regular casting time of 2 seconds, and a maximum casting time of 5 seconds.
Shackles of the Sentenced: Miasma takes a tangible form in the shape of violet-black chains which erupt from the ground and wrap around a target. These chains root the enemy in place for 5 seconds. During this time, if the target should be afflicted with any skill that inflicts Corruption, their Corruption is increased by 1 additional point. This skill has a casting time of 1.5 seconds and a cooldown of 20 seconds.
Miasma Curtain: The Heretic concentrates Miasma in a dispersed form and swings its essence around them, causing a violet mist to materialize and rapidly whip out from the Heretic's body. The Miasma strikes all opponents within 2 meters with dark attribute damage and applies 1 point of Corruption to all affected targets. Miasma Curtain does not damage allies, but will still apply Corruption if they are within range. This skill has a minimum casting time of 2 seconds, a maximum casting time of 5 seconds, and a cooldown of 10 seconds. Miasma Curtain's casting time can be increased in order to deal 10% extra damage and 1 additional point of Corruption per second.
Gluttonous Haze: The Heretic casts a spell onto a target, causing a thin black mist to surround their body. As that target deals damage to an enemy, the mist absorbs the Anima that was spilled by the blow and feeds it into the target's body to heal them a small amount. This spell, combined with Tainted Charity, allows the Heretic to take a slightly more support-oriented playstyle. However, keep in mind that the presence of the black aura has been linked to mood swings and aggressive among those affected by it. Gluttonous Haze has a duration of 10 seconds, a 4 second cast time, and a 20 second cooldown. While a target is affected by this skill, their Mind resistance is reduced by 1 stage.
Oblivion Claw: A Heretic skill that conjures Miasma to shroud a melee weapon up to 1 meter away in a purple mist-like animation. It may also be cast on a character's bare hand, creating a purple mist silhouette resembling a demon's claw. A direct contact between the enchantment and the target's body deals minor darkness-attribute damage and places a harmful curse upon the target. When this skill is cast, the Heretic may select one of the following effects: [Increase the animation or cast time of this skill by 1 second], [After activation, increase the cooldown time of this skill by 5 seconds], [Reduce the duration of this skill by 10%], or [The user takes 5 points of Corruption immediately after this skill is used]. If a target was damaged by this skill, the selected effect will activate immediately when the target uses their next skill. After a curse was successfully placed upon the target, no additional curses may be placed unless the user recasts the skill. The animation and passive damage buff will remain, however. If it has been 10 seconds since this skill made contact with an enemy's body or equipment, it is canceled. This skill has a cooldown of 20 seconds, a minimum casting time of 3 seconds, and a maximum casting time of 8 seconds. For every second spent to charge the casting time, increase the curse's effect by 10%. A target currently affected by this skill's effect is treated as though their Corruption was increased by 5.
Spellwalk: A toggle skill that allows a character to cast a spell without forcing them to remain immobile during the spell's casting duration. It is an excellent skill to take for those who prefer an on-the-go strategy or at least a less vulnerable position. When the character moves while casting a spell, their movement speed is halved. This speed penalty decreases to 40% at Level 30, 25% at Level 60, and 10% at Level 90.
Level 16 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 16.
Level 19 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 19.
Level 22 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 22.
Level 25 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 25.
Level 28 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 28.
Level 31 Tier II Skill: A skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. The skill may be either a Tier I or II skill. Unlocked at Level 31.
Roleplay Class: Tracker
Silent Move: A skill that deadens the user's movements whenever traveling, preventing them from making any sound while walking. In exchange, the Tracker's movement speed is reduced by 50%. For every 10 levels the tracker gains in their subclass level, this debuff is decreased by 10%. After Level 50, the debuff is eliminated completely.
Crafting Class: Brewer
Detox: When your occupation is all about alcohol, you can't let things like hangovers slow you down! This skill can be toggled, allowing brewers to become immune to status debuffs caused by drinks and potions. They also passively recover from sickness status effects twice as quickly.
