Edelweiss stands at six feet exactly, with a lithe and muscular build befitting his height. With his body usually covered and hidden away in the type of oversized coats he prefers, his face is his main feature. Short, frivolous blue hair and a well-trimmed goatee accompany a set of beady, hazel eyes with devilishly curved eyebrows. Edelweiss is an uppity kind of guy, and carries himself as such. In the public eye, he walks without a slouch. He keeps himself standing straight and tall, with his chest puffed out, unless he is in a battle he knows he's capable of overtaking, then he assumes a slouched and relaxed figure. At first glance, Edelweiss is a mean sinister looking individual. On his hands, he has small black tattoos of smiling skulls with bones that extend out to his fingernails. | Personality A generally introverted man, Edelweiss is very private in the public eye, however he's very open and lively when behind closed doors with people he trusts. Of course, this introversion functions well with his senses and way of going about things. Edelweiss likes to think of himself of a strategic person, preferring to stay calm and control the flow of a situation rather than let it control him or becoming a part of the flow. Sometimes however, this way of doing things conflicts with his morals and need to assist and protect those he values. Although he may be quiet to strangers most of the time, if he has an issue with you, or praise for you he won't hide it. He's very vocal about his opinions and plans when they're relevant to a situation. Regrettably, he doesn't deal with loss of those he trusts and holds close very well, though after a spur of the moment breakdown he generally regains his posture quickly with a heightened fervor for his ambitions. Speaking of ambitions, Edelweiss is an extremely driven person who refuses to yield his ideologies and plans by any means. He'll see something through to the end, never settling for failure. His drive and competitive nature go hand in hand well, forcing himself to victories by whatever means necessary to achieve his goals. Over all though, any victory is a victory to him, as Edelweiss takes everything as a learning experience to broaden his horizons. |

Biography
Outside of Elder Tale, Edelweiss lived a pretty peaceful life. He was your average happy go lucky teen without a care in the world. His childhood was pretty meek and mundane, much like the rest of his life. The only thing that really affected him was the separation of his parents from a young age, he was essentially raised by his mother for the first fourteen years until his father showed up out of the blue. This was welcome though, Edelweiss had gotten used to the way the world worked and took things as they came. What bothered him more than that however, was his willingness to fit in instead of standing out. In his own eyes, he was a boring kid. He wanted to make video games and entertain people, the average kid's dream. Some years later, he had a bit of an epiphany and came around, realizing that he had quite a few friends who were there to see him through to his success, and that he was a pretty exceptional person to those close to him. This outlook boosted his motivation and ambitious drive greatly, and led him to work further on his choice of game design and entertainment once he left high school. Procrastination was always an issue though, and playing other games was a constant distraction for him. One game led to another, paywall after paywall, time sink after time sink, and soon after high school he discovered Elder Tale.

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Enchanter
Astral Bind: Astral Bind is best known for its quick casting speed, causing magical chains to shackle the target's limbs and restrict any movement further than about a meter. Because of this, it's especially effective against DPS melee fighters, but not so much for ranged or magic classes. It normally wears off after 6 seconds, but can be resisted against to reduce its duration by roughly 2 seconds. A target who chooses to resist may not perform any offensive skills for 2 seconds after the binding is lifted. This skill's debuff classification is Mind. This skill has a casting time of 1.5 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds.
Astral Hypno: Astral Hypno is a spell that induces a sleep debuff on the target, preventing them from making any actions until they are struck or after ten seconds have passed. The higher a target's wisdom stat, the higher their chances of resistance. It has a fairly low cooldown time for its effect, making it a very useful spell to be used for incapacitating an opponent. This skill's debuff classification is Sleep. Every time this skill is used on a target that was previously targeted by it, the sleep duration is reduced by 2 seconds. This skill has a casting time of 4 seconds and a cooldown of 15 seconds.
Inversion: A spell that shoots a white beam of light forward at a target. When a target is struck by this ability, they are immediately spun in the opposite direction from which they were facing. It isn't really an ability that possesses any real effect other than temporarily disrupting an opponent's advance (perhaps it might even cause them to trip), but it's at least a spammable annoyance. Inversion does not change a target's trajectory and is ineffective on foes with the Immobility skill. This skill has a casting time of 1 second and a cooldown of 5 seconds.
Roleplay Class: Sigilmaker
Seal of Aquarius: The Sigilmaker is able to create emblems which passively raises a target's stats for a short duration. This skill has a casting time of 5 seconds and a cooldown time of 10 seconds. When using this skill, the Sigilmaker must declare one of the following stats: Strength, Dexterity, Agility, Intelligence, Wisdom. The target will receive an Aquarius Sigil buff and the stat selected will be increased by 5% for the duration of the target's next post. Only one Aquarius Sigil can affect a single target at a time. For every 10 levels the Sigilmaker achieves, the duration of an Aquarius Sigil increases by 1 post.

Transcription:Scribes are known for their ability to copy and examine documents carefully. This allows them to obtain the Adventurer skill [Mythic Script] as a Beginner-level skill without it taking up a skill slot. Their knowledge also allows them to use and read grimoires in the Ancient Text, allowing them to use grimoires without penalties and perform some basic magic attacks depending on their Magic stat. If the character can already use grimoires through racial or class bonuses, grimoire damage increases by 10%.
